Karma Vineyards

We got to visit this vineyard on our fall trip, and it did not disappoint. The indoor wine cave was interesting and unique in itself. We also got to sit outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. They had plenty of blankets available if you needed to warm up. We all enjoyed the wine flights. The food was delish. The staff was personable and knowledgeable, as they have been with the vineyard for years. It is definitely one of my favorite vineyards on that side of the lake.

We had a very cozy fall lunch at Karma, enjoyed the seasonal acorn squash dish and fall apple salad and amazing honey baked Brie paired beautifully with the cider tasters (very generous pours) and Wine selections were fantastic. The XO Brandy was so lovely to finish a great meal and experience. The ambiance in the underground cellar is really fun. Very warm and helpful staff. We will look forward to visiting again!

Great service in this unique winery/ restaurant. Our wait staff was Stephanie and she was outstanding! The menu has some great items, especially the shrimp and tuna. Try out the whiskey selection. I captured some of the dishes we ordered. They have an inside dining called the cave. If the weather is good eat outside. Enjoy

EASILY one of the best wineries I've ever been to! Very friendly staff, amazing setting, fantastic food and some of the best wine I've tasted. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

Lovely setting, not pretentious, amazing food menu...and then there's the BUBBLES. Make this a must-see in Chelan as well as the sister property/ cidery.

Cool place. I'm not a huge Wine person but my party was. I enjoyed the bourbon flight and snacked on their food. We showed up without a reservation, which they said they are reservation only, but they were still able to accommodate us. Staff was awesome and very attentive. They also have some beers along with bourbon, whiskey, and ciders available.

Great vineyard that offers cider, bourbon, whiskey, wine, and champagne tastings. Very reasonable price. I'd say it's the best price of all wineries in Chelan. Gorgeous views, beautiful landscaping, sprawling vineyards, pure serenity. Waiter was awesome, their bruschetta is delicious! LOVE their Cab Sauv and Syrah. A must visit if you're in town!!

Karma Vinyards has a great tasting room. In the summer, it's a great outdoor patio with a burbling stream. In the winter, it's a cozy underground converted wine cave. Nice wine flights. no discount for purchases = healthy pours. I always go for the bubbles as theirs are some of the best in the chelan area. Paired with a talented kitchen staff and friendly servers, this is a great place to whip up a fun time.

This is a spot I never miss when I come to Chelan! It is truly one of the most beautiful wineries. I always make a reservation and find that people with reservations get nicer tables, so would recommend that. Upon walking up, you pass by a lovely little landscaped waterfall and go over a bridge, and just know you are about to be somewhere beautiful. The plants and landscaping here are stunning and add to the sunny allure. The koi pond is also so pretty and surrounded with flowers. They have tons of umbrellas and shady spots, making this nice for even the hotter days of summer. I generally order the bubbles flight here, as they are known for their sparkling. This includes three very generous pours, which are pre-selected. I love comparing the flavors and trying something new every time I go! My friend and I always get great photos here. It's a wonderful place to dress up and take photos. Shoutout to their bathrooms too- very very spacious and clean. Do not miss the best bubbles and vibes in Chelan!

Karma was recommended to us by Robin at Frenchie's. From the first moment we arrived, our experience was better than we could have ever imagined. The wine was delicious, (I had the red flight, then ordered a glass to go with lunch), the food was amazing, and the service was unparalleled. I will definitely be back!

We came during the offseason so there weren't many people here, we did have a reservation just to be safe! From the outside, the building didn't seem big enough to fit our group of 6 but the deeper you go, the bigger it gets! Super well decorated and very classic cellar look. We ordered 6 plates to share and we each loved every single plate. Baked Brie? 5/5. Loved the sides of fresh fruit. Flatbread? 4.5/5. We had a veggie pizza and a meat pizza and they were both hits! Bruschetta? 3/5. The bread was pretty hard and the toppings were good but didn't quite live up to the other plates. Crispy apple salad? 4.5/5. The dressing was so good that we used the leftover bread to soak it up. Caprese salad? 4.5/5. The burrata mozzarella was sooo yummy and the tomatoes were big and fresh! We each got different wine flights but our overall favorite was the 2021 Malvasia Bianca! The rest of the wine was okay, but would definitely come back here just for the food

We made a reservation here on a Friday in August of 2024. It was such a lovely experience! We got the bruschetta and all 3 of us did a champagne flight. The bruschetta was super fresh- it was little toasted bread pieces with the topping on the side. All 3 champagnes were amazing. We sat at the outdoor patio. The outside patio is mostly covered in umbrellas. The hot weather and shade was such a nice combo! They also had a giant fan/mister blowing which was 10/10 perfect. Our server was also funny, helpful and kind. Overall we had a great time and I'd highly recommend stopping here while in Chelan!

Enjoyed a great champagne tasting here, which was a welcome change after sampling lots of reds in the area. The pours were generous and the bread we got alongside it was delicious. The winery itself is quite pretty and well-kept. Worth a visit!

This place is great! The wine and champagne were delicious. I tried the champagne flight and a few of their wines and thoroughly enjoyed all of them! Our server was very kind and checked in with us multiple times. The food was delicious, everybody at my table left feeling satisfied and impressed with the taste of everything. Finally the atmosphere is great! They have an amazing koi fish pond as you walk in and a nice seating area with fans and umbrellas to protect from the sun (or rain like we had). The only thing I didn't like was the tables. They're kind of small so wasn't very good for a large group like we had, and not very aesthetic.

This was one of my favorite places in Chelan. Lots of whites to try and it was a nice day to sit in the courtyard. The staff was super engaging and we walked away with a few to take home. Unfortunately, we didn't try any of the food. We promised the koi we would be back to see them again!

We were doing a bachelorette party with a Taylor Swift theme which I put in the notes of our reservation and the staff had it playing when we walked in which was such a special touch. We did the bubble flights which were very generous pours. Sushi was also delicious and good portion size. Highly recommend as the flights are delicious, staff was amazing, and you are drinking wine in a bunker that looks nothing like a bunker. Also great for larger parties.

My Friends and I had a fantastic time when we visited Karma Vineyards last month on my Birthday weekend. We all truly enjoyed spending time together at such a beautiful winery sipping on some fantastic bubbles.

I love this place. I used to be a member years ago and it was so good to come back after probably 8 to 10 years and see how much it changed... and also stay the same. Came back for a bachelorette party this time and we got some good sunshine and also some torrential downpour. The staff was so wonderful and got us blankets and tried to close all the curtains around the patio to keep us as safe and dry as possible. Always a place I love to come back to

Our friend made reservations here stating that after a long difficult day of wine tasting we needed to cleanse our palates with bubbly.. and who could deny that logic. We loved the decorated tunnel you walk through to get from the main tasting room to the dining room. So sparkly and festive. Our server was great and got right to bringing some tastings for us to enjoy. They have so many different flight types to choose from, there's sure to be something to please everyone in your group. They had red and white wines for our winos, cider for our cider babies, Bourbon for our whiskey man, and of course bubbly for the princess of the group. We each ordered a couple different tastings and enjoyed them all as well as the lamb special on their menu that evening. Overall it was a lovely tasting room with beautiful ambiance and great beverage choices. We'll have to visit again on a future trip.

We dined at Albatross, one of the best dining experiences I have had in the last year. The food, service and wine were amazing! A very exceptional experience! Thank you!

We had the most amazing wedding at Karma and rehearsal dinner at their restaurant Albatross. Julie, chef Alicia, Geanie and the staff went above and beyond for us and our guest all weekend. We could have not asked for a better venue & we are so lucky to have had our wedding here :) I would recommend karma to anyone, who wants to enjoy the best wines, champagnes and food in Chelan!

We enjoyed our wonderful tasting last week at Karma. I had the champagne flight and my friend had the wine flight. We were lucky as we didn't have reservations and they still commodores our group with 3 children. The kids enjoyed the lemonade and the cheese plate. The sage cheese was very yummy, perfect paid for the champagne! All 3 champagne were wonderful! As for the wine, rose and the white were good, the red was lesser compare to others. We had a great time tasting and my kids also enjoyed the koi pond. This is a great family friendly vineyard. Highly recommend!

Called on a Friday trying to get reservations for the following day but they told me they were booked. They said the had a slot open at 1:00 PM Sunday, which worked for us. We checked in out front at 1 pm. we asked if dogs were allowed, and they said yes! Extra points for this place being dog friendly. They only have outside seating from what I saw. We got sat pretty fast. We ordered: - $5 wine flight - $5 hard cider flight - $15 champagne flight - $20 whiskey flight - baked brie - cheese plate - steamed clams - chicken sandwich - sweet potato fries Cody was unimpressed by the whiskey flight, which is really nothing special, just whatever whiskey bottles they have on hand, they don't make it themselves. I enjoyed the white wine that came with the wine flight, and I liked the pear cider that came with the cider flight. The baked brie was delicious with the honey. Steamed clams were tasty too, and the server mentioned they have the recipe for the steamed clams listed on their website! Overall we had a good experience here. I would say the food is on the pricey side and not a HUGE selection, but it was tasty.

This was my second visit to Karma: first with some girlfriends (a couple years ago) and this time with my husband! Karma has a gorgeous outdoor seating area, in the early fall it's absolutely perfect. With it being winter currently: they had a couple fires going and big fluffy blankets for each guest. It was so cozy! Karma's specialty is their bubbly: HIGHLY recommend you get their champagne flight when you visit. Reservations are highly recommended but they are often able to make a space for small parties (2-4 people). I've only visited in the fall and winter and cannot wait to come back in the summer. Karma has an "All American" Chardonnay that they release in the summer that is absolutely fantastic. Special shout out to Bob: When I visited a couple years ago Bob was our server and he told us all about what we were drinking in borderline poetic descriptions. This is a man who loves talking about wine and knows what to talk about! I was SO thrilled to see him again this visit and sure enough: not only did he have great things to say about the wine but also about other vineyards we should visit. Truly a wonderful human and I hope he starts his own wine tour. I'll be the first person to sign up!

This is definitely one of the better vineyards Chelan has to offer! My wife and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and were immediately seated next to their koi pond in the vineyard. We ordered a cider and wine flight along with clam steamers and a baguette. The cider flight was really delicious and had a variety of different fruit ciders. The wine flight was also really impressive. They absolutely didn't skimp on the portion sizes, and they even let you choose which wine (Off their entire wine menu) to include in the flight. Both of these flights were only $5! We paid upwards of $15 per person for other wine flights in town that weren't as good as this one. Just when we thought this experience couldn't get any better, the owner (or manager?) came up to our table and told us they accidentally poured too many champagne flights and that they were giving us one on the house! This champagne flight is $20 on the menu, and they gifted it to us just to give us a great experience. That put our experience over the top and we will definitely come back again! My one critique of the food was with the clam steamers. While the clams were cleaned and cooked really well, the sauce had an incredible amount of chopped garlic in it to the point it overpowered the wine we were drinking with it. Not a huge deal, but it is something to keep in mind when pairing food with wine. Overall an amazing experience and will definitely come back in the future.

We came for wine tasting and ended up having an app as well. When we arrived they said they were seating reservations first and seeing that we didn't have one they would seat us once their reservations were sat. They were super kind and attentive about it. We were sat within 30 minutes. Geanie (spelling?) was our server and was amazing. She made our experience from the beginning comfortable and fun. She explained the tasting menu and promptly took our order. We ended up purchasing a bottle and their French kiss. Be sure to ask about it ;) We will be back anytime we are in Chelan. It's an absolute must.

Lovely venue for wine tasting and lunch in Lake Chelan (lots of other vineyards not too far away if your looking to do a series of tastings). Tip: do make reservations and don't come here if you're in a rush. We came here on a Sunday and showed up right as the vineyards open. We checked in and greeted with some hard cider. When they were ready for us we walked through a series of water features and ended up in the outdoor seating area - each table came w an umbrella (much needed on a warm day). Our server was very professional and friendly and recommended the cheese plate with meats to go with our flight of wine. Had a really good experience at Karma. With your flight - I would recommend telling your server what types of wines you like so it can be customized - if not you will likely get a rose, white and red. Cheers!

This place has come up as a recommendation amongst multiple clients, so it was a must try for us. Upon arrival there was ample parking and a check in station with 2 wonderful ladies to greet you. They even offered us a cider to sip on while we waited to be seated. The ambiance is beautiful and the menu is pleasantly light for wine tasting. We decided to order the bubble flight, although we would've loved to try the whisky and bourbon flight- next time ;) The flight was wonderful, as expected with bubbles. We ordered the steamed clams and those were by far our favourite!! Order them! We also ordered the prawn salad which was light and refreshing. Our server was outstanding, and I feel terrible that I don't remember her name. She was quick, attentive and knowledgeable. We decided to sign up as members to receive 4 shipments of bubbles a year. Really looking forward to this new wine club. Thank you for an amazing experience- we will see you again soon!

Bae got a 1:00 reservation, but we got there earlier than 1. We were able to be seated immediately at a high top. The service was on point and the ambiance was really cute. We ordered the wine sampling along with steamed clams, salad of the day, and cheese plate. Everything was delicious! I absolutely loved the salad of the day which was a caprese salad with prawns. It's probably the best salad I've ever eaten. I would go back just for that. As for the wines, they were okay. I don't think anything was wrong with them; I may just not be a wine drinker anymore. They also host events, which is pretty cool. Oh, when you check in with the host, you get a sample of their Bad Granny cider. Fun.

I believe this is the first winery that I have raved about not for the wine but the food. Don't get me wrong, the wine was good as well but it was the food that really left an impression with me. Specifically the cheese plate was incredible! At first it seemed a bit pricy for a cheese plate but after we got it, it was well worth the price. There was an array of interesting cheeses like sage and wasabi that were far better than I could have guessed. The wasabi had a bit of a bite to it without being too much and the herb cheese had a variety of savory herbs that smoothed It out nicely. The sand which was also pretty spot on with a variety of fresh vegetables and cheeses that paired well together and the wine paired nicely with both.

This is a fun place. Although you can taste, it is more a restaurant inside a winery. However, we asked to taste first before ordering lunch and they accommodated us very nicely. In fast, the people we interacted with were uniformly helpful and friendly. We ordered two flights, a sparkling wine and their white/red flight. We got those two and a red wine flight. After talking to one of the more knowledgeable people, out came a taste of their Syrah for each of use; later we were treated to their Bad Karma. We got more than we ordered, which a good place does; we got to talk to knowledgeable people. Excellent. We enjoyed their sparking wines, particularly their Blanc du Noir. This is a bubbles house and they do a nice job with these wines. Both their Rose and Gewurtztraminer were excellent and we came home with a couple of bottles of each. We liked their Estate Syrah; yes, we bought a couple of those as well. They do some interesting blends; due to budget constraints, we left those for another day. This place does good wine that satisfies a number of different palettes and budgets; not surprising they have a good club presence. There were three of us, so we ordered the sweet potato fries, the cheese plate with salami and their sliders to share. Great aioli for the fries; double yum. Another great aioli for the sliders; they compared very favorably with the burgers we had the day before and I think we like these better. They did not have too many ingredients. The cheese board had cheese, bread, fruit, candied pecans and salami. It had a great balance. Glad we stopped in; this is more a restaurant that allows you to taste good wines. Plan accordingly. Surprisingly, they also feature a couple of brandy's. We did not try them; perhaps next time. I expect a return trip. Try it and enjoy eating in the caves in the spring and outside in warmer weather.

Karma Vinyards is one of my favorite places to go to. They have covered outdoor seating as well as the indoor cave. The atmosphere is great including a water feature with Koi and view of the vinyard. The cave has a nice feel to it and serves as great dining area. The food menu has delicious choices and my go-to are the clams. I suggest ordering extra bread to dip in the clam sauce. It is that good and it pairs really well with the champagne flight.

Wine was solidly good and food was okay. I was a little disappointed by the set tasting since they had so many wines I wanted to try. I did fall in love with the Sauvignon Blanc though. I did pay $20 for a cheese plate and $7 extra to add meat, which would generally be okay but it looks like they trimmed the fat off of the prosciutto?!! So weird. It made it dry and not worth the extra $7. I did enjoy the wines and the drier sparkling wines they offered but their service was sooo slow. They were definitely understaffed but so friendly so our server deserves a star on her own. If you enjoy sparkling wine check this place out. They have 5 kinds so there is something for everyone.

Always a fav to visit! Atmosphere is so cool - underground cave feel, service is excellent, and the wine is good! On this visit several got a champagne flight instead of wine and were very pleased! Overall a must-visit on your winery tour of Chelan!

Hands down. Absolutely one our favorite places to drink and eat! Fabulous food and no better place for champagne flights or a bottle! Not your style? Try a wine, cider, whisky or bourbon flight! And again, food is super amazing! We come here each and every time in town. Recommend a reservation time to make sure you get your table!

At first it seemed good but then after we were seated it took a nosedive. We waited and watched a few waitresses pass us without even a hello, watched a table seated after us get served not once but twice before i went up to the counter to get service. Once we got the first flights it became the same story. We went up to the counter, paid and left.

This place was amazing, get the Champagne flight! The service was great, I love that they also serve bread with the flights. Would definitely recommend as a must do in Chelan!

My experience was great! This cheese board was delicious, the cheeses were amazing and the bread was so fresh. I also had the sweet potato fries which everyone must try!!! I've had their famous champagne flight which is worth every dollar.

What's a NYC girl like me doing all the way over in a small town like Chelan? Well tasting wines of course. Actually I grew up coming to this town every summer to visit family so when the orchards started turning into Vineyards (for those of you that don't know that's how the Loire Valley in France got it's start) it made my childhood memories become adult fantasies. Karma consistently turns out outstanding wines including their prized bubbly. But what makes Karma even more appealing is the food. Absolutely outstanding. Plenty of reasons to check it out and even more to bring you back.

Great food, great wine, good location! 18 Brix has some great dishes, the salad slightly overpriced but the Bruschetta, Clams and pizza are lovely dishes. The wine is second to none, try their 2015 Bad Karma and taste the smoke from the fires that year! Location is beautiful with some lake views but mostly just beautiful fountains and rivers and views over the vineyard. Definitely worth a visit when you're next in Chelan! 3 x medium size wine pours for $5!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Karma Vineyards. They were very accommodating to our family. The food was wonderful, and the flight of sparkling wine we ordered was delicious. We would absolutely recommend this place, and would even go back when we visit Lake Chelan again. The reason why I gave 3 of 5 stars was what happened at the end of our visit. When my wife went to purchase two bottles of sparkling wine our server came to me asking if we would like to purchase wine? I told her I think my wife is doing that now at the gift shop. The server told me she would help her with that, and went straight to the gift shop to help my wife. I honestly didn't think anything of it, but when our bill came to us it was $300. The server included our meal with the sale items we purchased. Even though we were uneasy with the sale items being included with our meal we went ahead and included the 20% tip anyways - our server did do a great job. My wife and I however feel the irony of "Karma" here, and feel it was deceiving to put the sale items with our meal. Our two $75 bottles of wines turned into $90 bottles of wine. Remember patrons you tip for service, not souvenirs!

I really dislike writing negative reviews and that's why I've waited a week to write this one. We made reservations for Karma a week or so in advance of our trip to Chelan as my friend loved some of their wines she had tried previously. She had also known someone who had worked their and thought it would be a great way to kick off our weekend. When we arrived, they were not ready for us yet so we needed to wait up above while they cleaned a table. No big deal it was a beautiful day. Upon our seating, it is a wonderful setting. However our server apparently must have been extremely overwhelmed. He barely spoke to us. Explained they only had one tasting. Not one for reds and one for whites like most wineries do. We asked about their wine club and he just dropped a sheet but it had no prices and he could not be bothered to discuss anything with us. We had actually planned on eating lunch here but because the service was so poor we did our tasting and left. It took us quite a bit of time just to pay for our tastings as we had to find someone to help us. It was a complete let down and disappointing as I've heard their wines are good but I won't give them another chance. Don't waste your time as their are some incredible wineries very close by that would love your business!

It was a gorgeous day and we had a great table and a great server. We did the $5. 3 wine flight. All three were excellent. We ordered a salad and they split it for us, then we ordered a sandwich and they split that, too. It was such a relaxing experience. The grounds are lovely. We made reservations.

Spent 20min waiting in line as the two hostesses struggled to figure out how a seating list works instead of clearing and preparing the empty tables inside. Saw a party same size as us that walked in behind us get seated ahead of us. Then the hostess said that they would seat us and 2 other parties at one big table (which is fine), but we then had to wait for them to set up the 12-person table while a bunch of smaller ones were available... Once seated, it was over 15min before anyone greeted us. By that time we had our food order ready. Observed multiple parties who again came behind us, get their food before our pizza and cheese plate. Bottom line, I'd avoid this place unless you're not hungry and have nothing else to do for the rest of the day.

Karma is one of my favorite Vineyards in Chelan. It is a beautiful property and has wonderful food and wine. My latest trip was this weekend with 13 girls for a 40th birthday weekend away. We came on a wine bus tour where our driver set up an appointment with the staff. When we arrived they were waiting for us with a tray of glasses with tastes of their delicious berry cider. It made us all feel so welcome. We were originally only supposed to go for the tasting however we asked if we could stay and have lunch and they accommodated right away by taking us to a gorgeous private table. The owner and GM were so friendly and let us know that because we were still on a wine tour we should order right away so that we could get our food and continue on. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. Our table and the setting was as if we were sitting in The middle of a vineyard in Tuscany. Needless to say we could have stayed there all day.

Food, wine, and champagne! We experienced great service. The champagne cave, koi pond, and umbrellas to eat next to the vineyard add to the charm. Fit this in to your next trip to Chelan!

Service was slow but the waitress was wonderfully friendly. The menu and food were great. Wine was so-so... only one I liked was their Chardonnay. The outside area has plenty of umbrellas for sun and shade-lovers, which I appreciated a lot. Would recommended!

This was my friend and I's first stop on the Lake Chelan winery train and sadly this was the least impressive place. I got the wine flight and got a mix of red, rose and white and I wasn't impressed with any of them. I was really looking forward to purchasing some wine to add to my collection and this place was so blah. I would say the mushroom bruschetta was delicious. Service was meh, we were waiting for the server to come and pick up our card for the check but never came so ended up going to the front to pay. You're better off going somewhere else.

Definitely a must for the wine flight! First vineyard we stopped at during our stay. Excellent wines!! Tasted the Bad Granny Rainier Cherry...LOVED IT!!! Going back tomorrow for another bottle of it!!

I had a lovely time at Karma...I had a bubbly flight in their beautiful wine cave. Each sparkling wine was delicious it was hard to decide which one I liked better! great service and kind people. The servers could have been more knowledgeable as i was curious about hearing more from a place that offers several options of bubbly in methode champenoise.

Phenomenal experience with even better champagnes! The staff was professional and informative. And the food- first rate! Had a delicious salad with the most wonderful vinaigrette- perfect balance with the sweet fruits in the salad. Don't miss the grilled chicken sandwich- and be sure to try the champagne. (And then try some more!). Karma vineyards was a highlight to my first trip to chelan!

Opened a new location at the Chelan municipal golf course, super experience. Did not stay for food but the hospitality was best in class. Julie was engaging and a perfect hostess.

There are many, many beautiful vineyards in Eastern Washington but not many I know of with a cave. I attended a wedding at Karma Vineyards that began with a hilltop ceremony surrounded by lush gardens and overlooking beautiful Lake Chelan, and ended with dancing in the coolness of a cave. The patio near the tasting room was the perfect location for pre-ceremony beverages and appetizers (a delicious and interesting variety of jams, breads, cheeses and meats) and the children were captivated by the koi in the lovely pond. Dinner was fabulous and the support staff were helpful and friendly. The Bad Granny cherry cider was fun departure from the apple ciders I'm used to; I'll be looking for it in stores when I get home! Dessert and dancing in the cave after dinner made this a truly unique wedding experience. The crowning touch though, was the champagne made and specially labeled to commemorate the bride and groom.
