Karta’s downtown outpost covers the classics plus specials like pumpkin curry and khao soi. Recognized on Eater’s broader Thai roundups, it’s a convenient option near venues, with late-night hours that suit post-show cravings.

Ordered takeout from here for the first time while working on trying all the Thai restaurants that are within delivery range. This was by far one of my favorite Thai orders in many years - we had the khao soi curry, red curry fried rice, pad Thai along with a couple apps and were floored with how amazing everything was. They actually apply the heat! Will definitely be ordering from here again in the near future.

ordered through door dash, everything was delicious! i had khao soi, papaya salad and mango sticky rice. love to see a solid spot available for after 10pm.

This is not a restaurant, it’s a ghost kitchen. It has all the dystopian features that are supposed to make things “efficient”, like including a robot with 3 shelves that travels in a loop, carrying nothing. But really it just means there’s terrible to nonexistent customer service and the vibe is as pleasant as a Soviet gulag.

This place is basically for carryout only. I didn't do my research and didn't realize that until I walked through basically a skid row to get there. I ordered a tea and waited 25 mins to get it

The red curry was very good, full of flavor and lots of vegetables. The spring rolls we're good enough. Not the best I've had. Most importantly, people need to know that this is not an actual restaurant. This is a group of kitchens that makes food specifically for takeout by services like Doordash and GrubHub. Do not be fooled by the dine-in label on Google. There are no servers, nothing to drink, and no plates or silverware. It is literally just a waiting room with tables and a stack of napkins.

It’s more of a pick up food than actual restaurant. Small parking lot, and not many other parking options available. Person helping take out was friendly.

I ordered from Door Dash between the food tip, and delivery fees it cost almost 190.00. I ordered several appetizers including the chicken wings they were dry and chewy like they were sitting in a buffet bin for hours. Ordered this seafood wntree that had mussels, sheimp and calamari. First there were two shrimp and two calamari in the container. I took all the mussels out of the shells mixed in the rice and proceeded to eat. Suddenly crunch spit out my foid it was a large chunk of shell. Thought ok no problem just one shell. I was very wrong several bites had chunks of shells. Finally had two throw most of it out for fear of swallowing shells. One piece was so big I thought I broke my tooth. Will never get food from here again apparently they are trying to choke their customers

I ordered through UberEats. I ordered the Laab salad. It wasnt very good. It was laab, but the meat wasn't ground the way I am used to Laab being ground and it wasnt very flavorful. I've had a lot better.
