⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Home Away From Home in Goa My wife and I return to Kashmash every time we’re in Goa—it’s become our go‑to dinner spot for comfort, warmth, and unforgettable food. Nestled by the lush green marshlands of Siolim, the ambience here feels like a cozy Kashmiri garden away from the bustle of Goa. What truly sets this place apart is the dedication of Fahaad, the chef‑owner, who infuses every dish with the flavours and care of a homestyle Kashmiri kitchen. His cooking is a true art, and you can taste the soul in every bite. We especially love the mutton yakhni—a luxurious yoghurt‑based mutton curry that is delicately spiced and melts in your mouth—and the Marchwangan Korma (or michiwangi korma), which strikes the perfect balance of fragrant spices and tangy red chilli warmth. Every dish here feels like a hug—simple, homey, and deeply comforting. The Tabakhmaaz (fried mutton ribs with walnut chutney) is also a standout appetizer, deeply flavourful and authentic Kashmiri tanginess. The ambience is equally soothing—the tranquil swamp views and serene marshland backdrop complement the soulful cuisine beautifully. Soft music, wooden décor with Kashmiri accents, and warm lighting make every evening feel special. In short: If you’re craving truly authentic Kashmiri flavours in Goa—with a chef whose passion shines through and an atmosphere that feels like home—Kashmash is the place. We love it, and can’t wait to go back again. ——— Posted with love ❤️ and a craving for more yakhni!

This small family run Restaurant is probably the only authentic kashmiri cuisine Restaurant in Goa. For those of us who may not have the good fortune to visit Kashmir, this Restaurant is the perfect place for enjoying the unique cuisine of Kashmir. I believe changes are made to the menu every 2 weeks but the regular dishes are there everyday. The location of the Restaurant is in a scenic quiet part of Siolim but very easily accessible by road. The ambience inside is simple yet very charming. They also do catering for home parties. Surprise your guests in Goa with some excellent Kashmir cuisine.

Every time me and my husband are in Goa, Kashmash is our little tradition for dinner. It’s one of those rare places that feels like stepping into a home kitchen filled with love and warmth. Chef-owner Fahd is truly gifted—his Kashmiri cooking is soulful, comforting, and absolutely unforgettable. I’m especially in love with the mutton yakhni—it’s so delicately spiced and creamy—and the mirchiwangi korma, which has this beautiful, deep flavor that keeps me coming back. Every dish here feels like it’s made with heart and it’s always a highlight of our trips. The ambience makes it even more special; dining while looking out at the lush Goan swamp is serene and calming. It’s the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy a lovingly prepared meal. We both adore this place and can’t imagine a Goa trip without at least one evening at Kashmash. Thank you, Fahd, for making every visit feel like a warm hug through food. ❤

Don’t be fooled by the ambience of the place we were so excited to be eating Kashmiri in Goa and we went even though the restaurant was empty thinking the food will be good . Ordered starter and got 4 small pieces of rib with no meat on it . And realised all the portions were made this tiny even the tea was disappointing never visiting again

Went in for a late nighter. Extremely well kept place. The food ( chef speaking) is brilliant. ordered a mutton starter n some rotis. 7 out of 5. Would have given a double if the quantity was a bit more. Definately recommending to peeps. Nd very definitely going there again.

Pathetic portion size and quality of food. Paid Rs 1954 for the food and now going to love roll over to eat some parathas to get over what we just had. Feel cheated as a customer .

We spent 1000 INR for a quarter of a bowl of saag and two small pieces of mutton sheekh kebab and 6 rotis. When we spoke to them, they said this is as per them is for one person only. The same kebabs we tried at the hilltop night market, was definately bigger. This sort of pricing with inadequate quantity is absolutely unacceptable. Any customer would feel cheated.
