Underwhelming Korean dishes with a hefty price tag. Kasina was high on my “must-visit” list, but the experience fell a bit short of expectations. Upon arrival, I was acknowledged but without the warmest welcome. I was seated toward the back of the restaurant and handed a menu. Even though I was waiting for someone, they were pushy about getting me to order.
When my friend arrived, we placed our order, and our Korean fried chicken was served promptly. The sauce was delicious, and the chicken was fried just right—not overdone. For our main dishes, we ordered kimchi fried rice and bibimbap. The kimchi fried rice was tasty but a bit small in portion, while the bibimbap had an appealing presentation, although the beef portion was disappointingly small. Given the price, the portion sizes felt lacking.
We received a few side dishes, including a miso soup that was just average. The service was mediocre, with the servers seeming uninterested. Although the restaurant’s aesthetic was pleasing, the underwhelming food and half-hearted service left me disappointed.
