Kastoori Grill - Review - Downtown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Just like your subtly brilliant but sadly underappreciated performance as Wheel #3 in your kindergarten class’ rendition of “Wheels On The Bus,” Kastoori Grill tends to get overlooked in favor of the more eye-catching, in-your-face options around it. Most people just walk right by this place on their way to eat congealed salmon chowder the color of pepto bismol in Pike Place Market. But they’re making a serious mistake. The Indian/Nepali/Tibetan food here is not only excellent, but consistently excellent at all times of the day, whether you’re stopping in between meetings for the $10.99 lunch buffet (complete with fresh baskets of naan and the greatest hits from the menu), just grabbing a casual dinner, or getting some palak paneer delivered to your apartment. Also, the soft serve mango ice cream gives Molly Moon’s a run for its money. photo credit: Nate Watters Kastoori is not particularly special inside - the walls are mustard and burgundy, and the linoleum-tiled floor makes the whole place look like a cafeteria. But it doesn’t matter, because you’re not coming here for an anniversary date or a business lunch with your corporate card. You’re coming purely for the food, from the tikka masalas to the spicy curries to the ridiculously good momo dumplings. (One thing about the space that does matter is that during the summer, the lack of ventilation makes it uncomfortably hot - so know that you should either commit to sweating onto your pakoras, or order takeout.) Since Pike Place Market swallows a metaphorical horse pill of melatonin when the sun goes down, you’re essentially guaranteed to have no wait for a table here at dinnertime. Instead, you can take your time and enjoy delicious piles of chicken and paneer and curry and basmati rice, all swept up with hunks of garlic naan. Nothing you eat will be disgustingly pink, and you might even feel inspired to bring that Wheel #3 outfit out of retirement for an impromptu performance. Food Rundown Garlic Naan Kastoori Grill has plenty of naan varieties, but this is the only one you need. Dip it in everything. Steamed Chicken Momo These Nepali/Tibetan dumplings taste like pot stickers crossed with samosas, and they’re so, so good. The steamed chicken momo have ground chicken, onion, cilantro, and some spices, and they’re served with a tangy tomato/cilantro dipping sauce. If you don’t order these, you are a fool. Chicken Tikka Masala Kastoori’s chicken tikka masala has a creamy tomato sauce that’s rich without being greasy, and the chicken here is never dry. If you can take it, order it medium-spiced for the best flavor - it’s spicy enough that your friends who collect hot sauces will be satisfied, and your wimpy friends will need a few gulps of water. Palak Paneer A solid palak paneer to add to your rotation - you won’t regret having this on the table. Gobi Aloo Vegetarians, this is your order. Omnivores, this is so good it can be your order, too. The gobi aloo is a mix of cauliflower and potatoes cooked with cumin seeds, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, and ginger, and it’s crazy good. Bhuteko Cauli Aloo The Nepali version of gobi aloo. It’s the same gist, with cauliflower and potatoes, but it has more of a sauce - get it spicy and dip that naan in there. Mango Soft Serve You’d never guess that a quiet Indian restaurant on the outskirts of Pike Place Market would be producing such awesome ice cream. But this creamy mango-flavored soft serve is a fantastic way to end a dinner here. Plus, during the lunch buffet, it’s unlimited, and you’ll want refills." - Aimee Rizzo

The Casual Weeknight Dinner Guide

"This place has some of the best Indian and Nepalese food in the city. The entrees come out of the kitchen incredibly quickly, and you’ll definitely be able to hear yourself think (or your dinner companion talk), since it’s not usually busy. Split some chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi with basmati rice, box up the leftovers for lunch tomorrow, and cap the night off with some mango soft serve." - aimee rizzo

The Downtown Lunch Guide

"The Indian buffet at Kastoori Grill is a great thing to do for yourself at lunchtime. Get fresh garlic naan for the table and then have at the tikka masala, gobi aloo, pakoras, and saag paneer. Finish with some mango soft serve for a sweet-tart dessert before descending into emails again." - aimee rizzo

Google
I had my first experience trying Pakistani food at this restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich, delicious, and unlike anything I’ve had before. Every dish was cooked perfectly and full of authentic taste. What made it even better was the service so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made me feel right at home and were happy to explain the dishes since it was my first time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try something new and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back ❣️

Google
This place is phenomenal, they’re under new ownership and creating such a beautiful restaurant. My partner and I loved the garlic naan and both of the curry’s we tried! They gave us a mango lassi on the house.

Aditya Ojha

Google
They still have the lunch buffet but it’s for $20 not $10.20 It feels hole in the wall-ish but doesn’t have the flavor to back it up. Mutton Curry 🍛 had very little bones 🦴 👍 Staff is nice and polite. I was expecting more flavor from the food. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Google
Absolutely loved this place - true and authentic soul food of flavors from various regions across the globe. Met the owner who was so humble and helpful. Management has recently changed and the new owners are destined for success if they continue serving this quality food. The Goat Khari and Tandoori dishes we ordered did not miss. It was so good, I had to take some back to Vancouver with me!!!

Google
This place is under new ownership and the service is outstanding. The owner went out of his way to recommend great menu choices. Everything was very flavorful and although spicy as ordered the spice wasn't drowning the fragrant flavors of the meal. I'm just taking off a point for atmosphere because the place seems under construction. I am certain this will be resolved very soon.

Google
The food is amazing. It’s some of the best Indian/Nepali food that I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the momos. The new owners clearly love and are dedicated to what they do. Service is great. This is a must visit every time I make it to Seattle.

If you really want to taste authentic Nepali cuisine, this is a place. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Although the place needs redecorating, don't be fooled, it is just esthetics. The food was delicious. I went there for lunch with the family. I had the buffet, family ordered off the menu. Staff was very attentive, including the new owner, food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Just stopped by yesterday (6/30/25) for some takeout on my way back to the office from the Market. They're under new ownership; I chatted for a minute with the new owner and was told the tikka masala I ordered is a new recipe. He also asked that I let him know my thoughts. Since I may not be back in there for a while, I hope he'll catch it here. I will say that the tikka masala was excellent. Very flavorful and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The chicken was quite tender, too. The only thing I might complain about is that I was told the meal came with a salad, but I didn't get one :(. Still, I was quite happy to have plenty leftover for lunch today. I'm guessing they may be renovating as well. While I didn't walk into the restaurant but waited near the entrance for my to-go order, it did look a bit disorderly from where I stood. I assume they're still getting the place to their liking.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this home in the wall Indian grill on my trip to Seattle. The food is awesome. You have lots of flavorful, spicy, rich dishes from curries to freshly made naan. The veggies were not overcooked nor were the proteins in the buffet area. The gulab jamun was mid. It's served cold and sitting in cold syrup. Very interesting and not good considering I've only had gulab jamun served hot. Anyway, if you're looking for an affordable Indian option in the area go check it out - but don't expect friendly faces to welcome you or an upscale restaurant. Very low key.

Yelp
food was delicious! Lamb and chicken was lean and flavorful. Right amount of spice! server was pleasant and prompt. would definitely go back

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Service was great, they were very nice and accommodating. Food also came out super fast. There were not a lot of people inside but honestly there should be a line out the door. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
This was my first time dining in at this place within Pike Place Market for early dinner last night. First glance when I came inside with my friend it looked very elegant and inviting. The waitress was hospitable in helping us get seated with great service and my friend and I ordered Vegetable Pakoras, 2 Kastoori Grill Specials of the Chicken Tikka with cream sauce and basmati rice which we added the garlic Naan since it didn't come with it and we were so satisfied with it in our bellies. Definitely will come back again next time to try other meals off the menu. Until then

Yelp
Another 5 Star Review in the books. The Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Naan and a glass of Mango Lassi!! Everything was amazing

Yelp
Husband and I stopped in after a long train ride from California. Sat down ordered appetizer and chicken tikka and Spinach dish with garlic naan. Food was good until I saw a foot long RAT walking across the floor. I asked my husband if he saw it and he confirmcouldn't get out of there fast enough. When we alerted the staff they didn't seem surprised and offered to move our table. We politely declined, paid the bill and left. We determined the rat issue was not surprising to the staff which is weird to me. Will NEVER be back.

Yelp
Worst dinning experience! I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service. Upon arrival, we saw, that looked like the manager of the place with a dead pan expression. We saw one table occupied in the entire dim lit restaurant. There was no communication so we wondered if he wanted us to come in or not. He gestured us to sit so we took a table under the random bulbs in the ceiling. We ordered tea and somosas. When they brought the tea it was very milky so we requested it to be a little stronger. The waitress who was not serving us, asked what happened to the manger and started rolling her eyes and making faces. Throughout our meal, the server was frowning at us. When she came to serve the tea to us we said thank you and she ignored us so I said, u can smile it's just good customer service. She literally looked and me smiled , frowned and walked away. My friend and I burst out laughing for this high school behavior. To make matters worse, she stood by the manager, looking at us and gossiping and laughing at us. We found this so outright rude and hilarious. We were four on the table and they only gave us two glasses of water. Their disposition was so below standard that we did not even request additional water . This kind of service is unacceptable and overshadowed the quality of the food, which was decent but not worth the hassle. I hope the management takes steps to improve their service, as this could be good business due to the great location if the staff were better trained and more attentive. They did not come to pick up the check, we had to walk to the cashier. You can guess if we left the waitress a tip!

Yelp
The food is great esp the goat curry. The meat was perfectly cooked and nice chunky pieces of meat. Garlic naan were amazing too. The chicken momos are a must try. The service and the staff was very very nice and so well spoken. The interior is little shady and very very old. This places needs a serious renovation. But if you don't care about the looks and more about the food, it's great. The presentation is good too. They lit candle under to keep the food hot.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner here. You can choose your spice level. Everything was spicy and delicious.

Yelp
I eat here every time I'm in Seattle as long as I can convince my traveling companions to eat a nice spicy and rich curry. I remember the service is decent but the curry is amazing. I always eat too much as it's hard to put the fork down. Great leftovers.
google avatar

Nishika T.

Yelp
Always happy with the service at kastoori. We come here only for the c-momos as I am nepali. We did try some of the steamed and fired momos but they aren't as good. I wish they had better chutney for those momos. Will be coming back as always for the c-momos!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food and excellent service. We were meeting up with one of our cousins, and he wanted to take us to one of his favorite spots. We ordered several different appetizers, entrées, and everything was delicious. Our favorite was the momos (the sauce was incredible!). The naan and sabzis felt typical to North Indian fare, but overall very good. I'd definitely come again, although I'd probably just focus on the momos.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
Good!! The husband and I both loved it. Don't be fooled by the modest interior, this place is worth the dining experience! Can't wait to go back and sample their lunch buffet.

Trici C.

Yelp
A non-fancy down home restaurant. I ordered a delicious saffron and cream curry with basmati rice and hot fresh long naan, and a Nepali beer to top it off. So good!

Aja G.

Yelp
I agree that this is probably a 3.5 star spot but since they've had some poor reviews, I'll give them a 4 because the food is fairly good and the service was reliable. We came in around 1:45 pm for a late lunch. This used to be a buffet spot but I'm guessing Covid changed that. I think I preferred it as a buffet because you could try the different menu items and get a nice blend of spice. I ordered the aloo govi (cauliflower and potato) and my husband got the vegetable korma. We ordered the paneer naan, at our server's suggestion. I love spicy so I ordered it a 4/5 spicy. However, the server advised against that warning it would be too hot, so I got a 3/5. I wish I'd ordered a 4, as it was pretty mild. The spice was a little one-note and didn't have the complexity I've come to expect of this dish. I did try my husband's food and his was great. Very flavorful and rich, I was dipping the naan in there probably more than he would've liked. The paneer naan was not enjoyable, I imagined it being cheesy but instead it was flat, crispy and with fleks of paneer throughout. We got the free dessert with check in. I noticed one of the reviewers claimed there was a maggot in hers, which startled me. But I now know she misidentified one of the spice pods as a maggot. It is NOT that. If you pressed it open, it has a sweet rose smell that you get in the dish. So don't worry on that front. Prices were a little high for quality but really not terrible,. If you're craving Indian and you're near Pike Place, don't hesitate to stop here.

Yelp
Food was good. Especially Tandoori chicken and Naan was my favorite. Service was also very quick. Restaurant owner(chef) was very friendly. This restaurant is going to be my go to place for food.

Yelp
Bomb Indian and Nepali food tucked into Pike Place Market -- I was a little skeptical of finding authentic food in such a touristy area but honestly really loved it. The food here is SO filling and also VERY spicy, so would definitely beware while ordering. For the food: Chaat -- a classic done right. It was tasty and crunchy and flavorful and light. Momo -- super unique and flavorful, would recommend eating with the chutney. Paneer Tikka Masala -- SO. GOOD. This was probably my favorite thing here but it definitely ran on the spicier side. It went great with naan! It was super flavorful and the paneer was tasty too. Vegetable Biriyani -- super flavorful and tasty, as well as a very large portion size. Overall, a great spot if you're craving Indian. The food comes out fairly quick and is fun to share with friends.

Yelp
I really enjoyed chai and samose at Kastoori Grill! Highly recommend stopping by for a break in a busy day. They also have all carte and thali options!

Shel T.

Yelp
Whenever we visit Seattle we stop here. Quick and very responsive service. Right in the heart of Pike Place Market. Some of our favorites are the kastoori curry, kora ghosh, goat meat curry, butter chicken, and samosa chat. Truly everything we have tried has had amazing freshness and flavor. Spice level is 1 to 6 and we usually go with 2 and 3. :)
google avatar

Eddie K.

Yelp
when you r maxed out on seafood at Pikes market, Kastoori is an amazing Palate cleanser w authentic heat added to ur dish per request. My wife and I enjoyed what we believe to be the best Biryani we have had in the United States of America! the butter chicken was no slouch but man their Biryani with level 3/5 spice was perfection!! The staffs very friendly and we were tempted to pick up another plate to take back home to Cali. Keep it up!!
google avatar

Ana H.

Yelp
I was confused how this place was bone empty at 2pm on a Sunday with such central location to pike place... welllll, maybe because it's just okay. The smell lured us in -- lots of authentic spices being used. The Naan portion is generous. For two entrees and two drinks it was $53, and for that price I expected more than shown. The chicken was cubed, maybe it's supposed to be that way but the texture to me was off putting like I was eating cubed cafeteria chicken. The sauce itself was absolutely delicious. Rice was middle of the road. 3 stars due to pricey and off-putting chicken.
google avatar

Bertilla M.

Yelp
Our go-to option in the otherwise overpriced tourist neighborhood. Besides, there's no walking away after we smell its deliciousness down the block! More than an Indian restaurant, they also served Nepalese and Tibetan food such as momos and tarkaris. We enjoy their many vegetarian options. We also love that the restaurant is rather toasty every time we walk in from the oft chilly Seattle weather! The staff is always super nice.

Marilynn C.

Yelp
Wonderful, they have nice option for many meat choice fish, goat and chicken on buffet. A little slow on the chai..but really good.
google avatar

Debasmita R.

Yelp
We got the gobi manchurian, mixed chow mein, and the chicken c-momo and the food overall was pretty good. The gobi manchurian was so-so just because it wasn't really crispy and it was on the soggy side. We asked for a 5 out of 6 spice level for the chow mein and momos but it wasn't spicy at all, but it was still tasty. The chicken in the chow mein was really dry though. The momos were crispy and tasty. The one thing we wished for more than anything was less/no food coloring. Both the gobi manchurian and momos had a lot of food coloring and it was this absurd bright orange/red color.
google avatar

Disha G.

Yelp
I ordered from them and I would say they are an okay restaurant. Chicken chill was too saucy and bit oily. The chicken biryanis was more like pulao with peas. So, if you are looking for authentic biryani, this is not the place. So that was a bummer. The best I liked was Nepali chicken curry with Naan.

Yelp
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN SEATTLE!!!! Reasons why I am IN LOVE with Kastoori Grill: (1) I have been to many Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan restaurants in LA and San Diego. None of them even come close to the quality here. The BUTTER chicken is IMMACULATE, the creaminess, color, and depth of the curry sauce make me drool every time I think about it. The VINDALOO is FIREEEE, the sauce isn't as thick as the other curries, and the veggies in the sauce are perfectly saturated with yummy flavors and spices. The TIKKA MASALA is just MOUTH WATERING, it is the standard for what all tikka masalas should taste like!!! (2) The GARLIC NAAN here is just perfect. PERFECT!!!! The texture, the light garlic aroma, the crispiness... I always order 2-3 orders of naan and cry when it's all gone... (3) This place is so awesome that I literally planned my trip to Seattle around eating here. In 2021, I ate here 3 times in a 4 day period. In 2022, I ate here 2 times in a 3 day period. Now I will start planning for 2023. (4) OVERALL, this is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. It looks unsuspecting on the outside, the inside decor is average, but the FOOD IS 11/10! Don't pass this one up because of the aesthetics, go for a culinary experience that will make your tastebuds explode and make you dream of their butter chicken and garlic naan.

Yelp
We sat down to order and used the restroom. Discovered rat feces in the restroom and unfortunately left. Do not recommend.
google avatar

Will L.

Yelp
We were looking for something really flavorful and this place delivered. It has a really cool ambiance, definitely something you might overlook at first but once you're in it was great. Friendly staff. And the food... soo good! We had the Khaso ko Masu (goat meat with bone) and Govi Aloo (cauliflower)--about medium spicy--with Mango Lassis to drink. The food was served on these cool little rustic candle warmers with rice on the side. The flavors were perfect, the Mango Lassi was like a creamsickle. Next time I'm in Seattle I'm planning on coming back.

Yelp
Food prep - 10/10 Ordered Kukuda ka Maso (Chicken curry), Garlic Naan and a starter. All items were yummy. Service -10/10 ( prompt service, waiters checked often ) Ambiance - 6/10 ( Cool use some cleanup)

Irene L.

Yelp
Excellent! The flavors are amazing! A gem in the neighborhood. Not crowded...great service. Very reasonable prices. Be sure to ask for beer and wine menu if so inclined.
google avatar

Gihani D.

Yelp
Huge portions. Super tasty food. Open until 9:30pm (which is later than the surrounding restaurants). Reasonable prices (for Seattle). What more do I need?? We will definitely be coming here again! We got take out but it looked like they have dine in as well. Super appreciated how well everything was wrapped and packaged, we had no spills on the walk home. Hot tip: Their food is spicy! Which I love, but if you're unsure between two heat levels, go with the lower one.
google avatar

Tessa X.

Yelp
Our meal was absolutely delicious! Ordered the samosa chat appetizer, potato stuffed naan, yellow daal, kukhura ko masu (on the Nepali special menu), and mango lassi. Everything we ordered was made perfectly. Our waiter said the kukhura ko masu chicken dish was his favorite Nepali menu item, and I'm glad we ordered it bc the leftovers were even better the next day. I also really appreciated the amazing service, the staff were so quick and friendly and it made our dinner an even better experience.

Valerie M.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this place is hot. Like an oven hot. No AC and no windows to open. It is small so all the heat from the kitchen is trapped inside the restaurant. We changed our plans from dine in to take out and ate in the car. As far as the food, it was hot and freshly made. The naan was ok, a little dry and it didn't come with any dipping sauces... not sure if that is normal of if I have just been spoiled as all the Indian places I have eaten at give you small portions of different sauces to dip the naan in. The chicken tikka masala had good flavor and they were generous with the amount of chicken given. The rice was cooked well. However, there was a maggot in the Gulab Jamen. So gross.

Edward R.

Yelp
Great food. Portions could've been bigger, but quality was good. Great Indian food regardless.

Yelp
We tried this outlet on a long weekend as most of other restaurants were closed.didn't have any expectation. We ordered Chilli fish and Chilli paneer.both were good.paneer is too soft and tasted great. Not nice ambience and smoke from kitchen in the seating area. But food we tasted is great.
google avatar

Aimee R.

Yelp
I've been searching for tasty Indian in the Seattle area for a while and I think I finally found a winner! I ordered the paneer tikka and vegetable samosas and loved them. My partner had the tandoori chicken and loved how flavorful and moist it was. I think the prices are a little steep but that is sort of just a symptom of Seattle in general; you can prob pay the same or more somewhere else that isn't as good. We ordered our meal delivered and it was perfectly yummy, no disadvantages from the delivery. I would recommend!
google avatar

Preston L.

Yelp
Absolutely DELICIOUS food! I've had multiple dishes here, but an absolute favorite is the Mixed Chow Mein. Flavors are insane and I crave it often! Aloo Chaat, Butter Chicken, and Biryani are also some other favorites. If you haven't been, you are truly missing out! 10/10!
google avatar

Katie F.

Yelp
Best Indian food I've ever had! Frequently go and service is always excellent. Lots of seating.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
The chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken are super yummy dishes, though can be quite spicy. However, the naan here is absolutely tasty and fresh and worth getting to just eat that alone.

Yelp
We discovered this wonderful restaurant during the Christmas snow storm of 2021, when most of Pike Place dos t open due to employees not being able to ge to to the city. We were SO glad we did. We went in because of the fabulous cooking odors as we walked by. Just delicious food and kind service. Today was our first full day in Seattle this trip and could not wait to get back here. The smells as we crossed the street reminded us of the treats to come. Oh so yum - mango lassi, perfect naan, chicken pakora, shahi paneer, basmati rice with whole cardamom. I dream about this food. I'd move here for this food alone!

Yelp
What pulled me in was smelling this place from at least a 100 ft. away. As soon as I caught the scent I had to walk to it. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were kind. Food came out at a pretty reasonable pace. The naan might have come with too much butter. But it was fluffy and delicious. Rice is rice. They knew how to make it and it's never disappointing from a place that knows how it's done. The highlight was the Tikka Masala. So creamy and full of flavor. I recommend everyone go to check this place out.

Leticia C.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday and was empty so kind of questioned why but we were in the mood for Indian food. And it smelled great when we passed by the restaurant. After a bit people did start coming in so that was a good sign. Decor a bit old and dark lighting. We were seated right away and our order was taken as well. Food took a while to come out but you could tell it was fresh. The chicken was a bit dry but otherwise flavors were pretty good. The butter chicken flavor is the best even when compared to my favorite place in California so do recommend trying butter chicken. I do wish they had cheese naan we chose the garlic naan and was good just not as thick and soft as I'm used to. Overall pretty good and worth a visit especially for the butter chicken.

Yelp
New Year's Day, not much was opened. After walking Pike Place, we got tired of calling places to see if they were open and decided to try this place out, before reading reviews. TL;DR -- food was bland, over priced and service was terrible. Needed to gather own plates and utensils and never got checked up on by anyone. Dimly lit insides that seem poorly ventilated. Would not come back. We ordered veggie Momo, lamb tikka masala, kastoori chicken and garlic naan. Food was so-so, taste was a bit bland (kastoori chicken) garlic naan was greasy and lacked flavor. The naan had the taste of uncooked flour mixed in with little or no garlic aroma or taste. Kastoori chicken had some buttery sauce, but lacked salt or pepper or any accompaniments of flavor boosters. Tikka had like 3 or 4 pieces of lamb. Sauce and meat was a bit dry. Momo, was ok. Sauce came cold and a bit doughy. Basmati rice was ok. Servers never once checked up on us. Only to see if we wanted the bill. And even then, I had to fo up and ask the guy for the bill. We were served our food without plates or utensils. I had to grab it from another table. This place seemed like it was under staffed but more like it was not organized properly. There were Grubhub guys waiting for orders, other patrons came in, waited for service, which never arrived and left without notifying anyone, and then others who waited forever for their food and at the end voiced their unhappy experience to the, manager? No one was in uniform, a guy was in sweats. Inside lighting and decor might want to be lit a bit better. The place seemed a bit dirty. Cloth napkins were on the bottle shelf, within inches of the sanitation bucket. I dont mean to be a stickler but when it comes to me paying $55 for subpar food, bad service and leaving unsatisfied, I feel like sharing my experience in the hopes that this place will be able to make adjustments and become a better place.

Yelp
Oh we loved this place! We weren't even looking to come here. It looks very unassuming and there are so many cool things to see around- I t's right outside of Pike Market. As we were walking by we were hit with a mouth watering smell and the aroma of lovely spices followed closely. We literally stopped in our tracks, looked at their menu, and decided to eat here instead of where we had originally planned. The momos are SO YUMMY! So so good! We split the veg momo and the aloo bodi tama. There wasn't just one "star of the show" with this meal. The momo was soft and delicate, with a great flavor and the house aachar paired so well with them! The aloo bodi tama was filled with warming spices, lots of great veg, and it had a nice kick to it too! Everything was so well balanced and precisely what we needed. The service was nice and speedy, we did not have to wait long! Everyone we spoke to was very kind, too. We highly recommend giving this place a try next time you're by the market!

Yelp
This is our go-to Indian food spot. The sauces and dishes we've had are excellent, the sides and naan are abundant and generous. The only downside is somehow the chicken always manages to be a bit tough. If they could fix this one thing they'd get 5 stars from me. We are creatures of habit here so always get Tikka Masala, butter chicken or tandoori chicken (this one is actually usually perfect, not tough). Many other items have been sampled, but these are definite go to's. If it's convenient for you, it's a great spot.

Yelp
We had Samosa chat, veg momos, garlic naan and kashmiri Kofta this time. Naan was very lovely, and kofta was quite creamy. Samosa chaat was a bit different from what you would except so not sure if I'll have again. I have had the chomping here previously and had really liked it then.

Yelp
Service was bad, did not honor the yelp deal for the gulab jamun. The food itself was good.

Yelp
Hands down my fav for curry. I got the veggie Korma. Super delicious. Garlic naan is a must. You all need to try it here.
