Egg drop soup is hot water with an attempt to add some egg pieces… ten minute wait turned into 25 (verified through receipt) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Nothing has flavor. And HUGO is a peach!

Megan Anderson

Google
Got one of their seafood boils and split it, still had more than we could eat. Absolutely Fantastic!

Hannah Wright

Google
Nice and quiet place for our lunch. Food was served quickly, and was delicious! Friendly atmosphere.

Google
We made a special request to be moved to a different table and they graciously accommodated us. The Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, and Sushi Rolls were great. Good place to eat!!!

Google
This place was a sweet surprise! Happed upon it while trying to go somewhere else, but instead opted to try this place instead! Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic! HIGHLY recommend - what a deal. All you can eat and it's made to order, NOT. A buffet - so, the quality is better than I expected. Will return!

Google
All you can eat sushi is a great deal! If you bring 4 people on your birthday you get your birthday meal for free (I think it might be only if you're all doing the all you can eat deal)

Yelp
I was craving some Japanese ayce and this place popped up. When I walked in, I thought their decor overall was pretty inviting. Potted flowers outside and when you went inside, the layout was also pretty nice as well. It gave me the rustic feel but welcoming. The problem with this place is probably their food. It was my first time and I did the all you can eat...I ordered a couple types of salads, it was okay. The miso soup was super plain and watery. I ordered their fried rice, seafood tempura, spicy crab rolls and a couple shrimp tempura rolls...and yeah, it was an interesting experience. The fried rice came in a large mound ...my experience in other places is that the portions should be smaller especially for an all you can eat. This place was super generous with their portions....the only problem is that it tasted salty and mostly tasted like soy sauce. Yeah, it was not good at all. Oh forgot, I also ordered their fried teriyaki chicken...dang, that was salty too. Today I think I must have overdosed on my limit of salt intake. The spicy crab rolls were plain and didn't taste very good...I ended up asking myself, should I force myself to eat something so gross or should I just pay the extra $1 per piece, I decided on just paying more instead of eating something that will probably make me sick later. Overall, I am sorry, this place is probably not the best place to "enjoy " Japanese or sushi...but definitely a great place to sit down and have drinks or something. I am giving this place between and 2 and 3 stars because the server was kind and the environment...but most likely the 2 stars because of the food. I truly cannot give this place a 3 stars. I would recommend cutting down on salt and maybe add a little more sugar. The portion size should be cut down to fit the all you can eat...unless you want to waste food. Dang, the teriyaki was super salty...I can't even taste the sweetness of the sauce. My kidneys are crying right now.

Yelp
Why does this place not have more stars???? Like waaaaay more stars. Awesome sushi AYCE! Lots of options, fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, great service. After I walked in I was immediately seated, and as soon as I placed my order within minutes I was already receiving the first round of food, it was all beautifully presented . I fell in love with a simple salmon poke, especially as rice was perfectly warm and seasoned. Just enough sauce and such generous portions of fresh salomon. I did regret the fact that I didn't have 2 stomachs so I could try more rolls, as my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly. Luckily , they did not charge me for the six pieces of sushi left on my plate. I tried. Shrimp tempura was slightly over fried, and everything else was pure bliss and perfection. There are a lot of options around here. But I am definitely coming back here next time i'm in town.

Yelp
This was just so-so for me. It sounded good after reading up on the place. A lot of choices to choose from. I only wish that the rolls were available in half sizes, so more could be tried. I only was able to try 3 rolls, as that's all my stomach had room for. There was really no wow factor. Actually, I think the deep fried cheesecake dessert was better than the actual sushi. But, that's just me.

Yelp
Food has definitely been improved since last year. Every roll had the perfect amount of rice and staff made these rolls fast as well as brining out appetizer! Will be back
google avatar

Yelp
The price is good but the sushi isn't the greatest quality, the cheesecake dessert is yummy but it used to be a lot bigger. The waitress we had was very nice though. The seafood boil was pretty good though not the best I've ever had but it was better than the sushi I'd say. I do like how they have the all you can eat sushi though.

Yelp
A group of 6 went to Kasumi on Friday night. We had a complete blast and everyone ordered the all you can eat sushi (about 30 bucks per person. It was so much fun because the meal included soups, salads, and appetizers. We just passed the paper around the table and ordered a bunch of everything. We just all ate family style passing things around and trying what everyone ordered. The food was very good and came to our table relatively quickly! Our server was very sweet and tended to us when she had time. There was no bartender working so she had to tend to multiple tables and make drinks which is the only reason I give them 4 stars. She was as efficient as she could be given the volume of work she had. Yes, they need more people but what restaurant these days doesn't. This restaurant is hip, delicious, and is an excellent value for the money! Great for groups too! We will return!

Yelp
Had a reservation for 8:45 pm. I arrived at 8:40. When I asked at 9:05 how much longer we would have to wait to be seated the staff gave a very discouraging answer. Point made I left instead because how things were going we were not going to be seated in the next 20 minutes AND they close at 10:00 so we would not have ANY time to eat. The point of the reservation is to secure a table at that time ±5 min. Not to be given a guess that we might be seated.

Yelp
I went to Kasumi on a Monday night with my girlfriend for my 2nd anniversary. We went in around 6 with a reservation at 6:15 but we were quickly sat at 6 when we went in because they weren't very busy. Our server came and we put our first order in for sushi. The first order came and the food was very good and then we put our second order in and decided to also order some rock fried shrimp. Our second rolls came and they were also very good but the shrimp never came. We just assumed that maybe they were taking longer the waitress came back and took our plate and we put in our order for the fired cheesecake and we never ended up receiving the shrimp. The fired cheesecake came and i could not believe it. it was four tiny little pieces of cheesecake for 2 people. We started the night off great with the food but then we didn't get our shrimp and the desert was tiny. The cost was 69$ even though it was only advertised at about 61$ for two people.

Yelp
Came here once for the All-you-can eat Sushi with a friend and did really enjoy it. However they disappointed me tonight because I was going to get the all-you-can eat as takeout as their website shows you can do this for the all you can eat option and it includes soup, 2 appetizers and 3 rolls. I spent some time deciding what I wanted and then decided I would just call only to be informed they are not doing this. I assumed with COVID it made sense that it was still an option. I wasted my time and going to Blue instead. They should really update their website. It is frustrating when you waste time assuming the information is accurate as posted. That being said, they do have a wide selection of rolls. My favorite was definitely the Kasumi roll, with spicy tuna inside and a peppercrusted tuna filet on the top. Service was okay the time I was there. I wish I could rate higher but I don't appreciate the laziness of information not posted correct on the website.

Yelp
This is my all time favorite sushi place! It's all you can eat and the menu is huge. Everytime we are in town we try to stop. Nice servers as well

Yelp
This place is great! Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. My friend I both got the all you can eat sushi deal and it was totally worth it. For $29 each, you can get all the appetizers, sushi, hand rolls, and dessert you want. The deal has a couple rules associated, including a $1 charge for every piece of sushi left behind, but overall the deal is a steal. They were playing good up-beat pop music that made the dinner that much more fun. Our server was incredible as well! Aysia (I hope I'm spelling her name right) was great at explaining how the whole process works and gave amazing recommendations for rolls we should try. Overall amazing place and great food!

Yelp
Delicious food! This is the best sushi place in Lincoln Nebraska! Definitely recommend

Yelp
Got the all-you-can-eat sushi. The food was OK. Not great - Not bad. Many of the rolls unexpectedly had deep fried items in them. This made it difficult for the gluten-intolerant person in our group and the person who prefers non-fried food. Our wait person got our order for Agadashi Tofu wrong, but brought us an extra crab rangoon (which was cold). The biggest reason for 2 stars was the long wait times for the food. We had to wait an unreasonably long time for our beverages too. Our server was nice enough, but could not keep up. We ordered 2 rounds of food and we were at the restaurant for just shy of 3 hours. This works out to more than one hour per round of food - waaaay to long.

Yelp
Really high quality and speedy service. Enjoyed a nice lunch of unlimited sushi for a very affordable price. Definitely will stop by again when I'm in Lincoln, NE.

Yelp
I came in during a busy Sunday afternoon and it took forever just to have a server come ask for our drinks... finally when she came, she completely ignored that I asked for napkins since I had 4 kids at the table, so I had to remind her multiple times for napkins which really got annoying. We got the all you can eat and they totally left out some dishes that we ordered. We got full and by the time the waitress came to check on us, she brought the check and didn't even acknowledge all the items she didn't bring that we ordered. Since we were full we just let it go but it shows you how they don't reallly care and are just trying to get you full and out. I also wish the people working there would gain some hospitality and knowledge on how to treat people because it seems like they think they are too good to be serving? If you don't wanna be a server then don't be there! Give your job to someone who enjoys catering to others !

Yelp
I went here for the first time last night and was definitely impressed. My brother told me about this place because they have an all you can eat AYCE sushi menu. It included all of their different rolls. We tried 9 different ones between the two of us and were absolutely stuffed. We also tried a number of their appetizers which were also included in the AYCE menu. We were too full for dessert but I asked for green tea ice cream but they were out of several desserts. So I ended up getting a scoop of vanilla which was nice. I definitely would go back again because it was great. :)

Yelp
Eh, go somewhere else if you're looking for sushi. First off two waitresses/host girls were cleaning tables all around us but no one acknowledged us to ask for our drinks. After they cleaned 3 tables, one of them came over to us. We put our order in, soup for both. Stuffed mushrooms, calamari & 3 different sushi rolls. She brings out the mushrooms & calamari. Then the big plate with our rolls on it. No soup. Mushrooms were the best thing we received, 10/10! Calamari was very chewy and not warm. We asked for no eel sauce on one of the rolls, that was ignored. She never checked on us or how we like everything. We saw other girls running around helping their tables. After our waitress dropped our food off, we never saw her anymore. We flagged another girl and she tried to find our waitress. Finally found her, brought our ticket. Again never asked how we liked everything. Very disappointed. We won't be coming back. Leaving this review to help management see this and hope they train the staff better. Another thing to note, the restaurant was not busy. I'd say it was less than half full.

Yelp
I love that this is an all you can eat sushi place in Lincoln Nebraska. The food is great and the service is amazing every time I'm there. I would make sure to allow for time when coming here. As you will want to try many different rolls. You can order as you go so you don't waste any food. The larger the group I feel is better. That way you can try several different types of rolls without being overwhelmed. I love the fact that it's always clean; this includes the restrooms. Which I feel is important in a dine in situation like this. They do have outdoor seating available as well! I love this place and g9 here at least once a month.

Yelp
Great price for unlimited sushi, apps, and deserts! Great food. Very fresh. Nice venue. Can be a little while before a waiter comes over but they are awesome so it's not a problem. Super friendly and great place to eat.

Joshlyn T.

Yelp
Me and my family came here to enjoy some seafood for my sisters birthday and we were greeted with someone who didn't speak English we were then seated and due to them not knowing English it took 30 minutes to order we then asked for someone who speaks English and they brought us someone who speaks Spanish and didn't know English either fast forward they bring out our food and there's a crawfish in my aunts food she's allergic to crawfish we then asked for them to give us a new bowl they then proceed to give us seafood with the sauce wiped of and when we asked for a refund they tried charging us for new food. Also there were workers sleeping in the booths.

Daniel A.

Yelp
Good food seafood amazing a little high price well worth it service is great ambiance lovely restaurant great people five stars

Yelp
I may update this review. I went here on Friday and they were severely understaffed to the point that I had to wait 20 minutes just to let them know I was here for my takeout. Add to the fact that the phone was ringing off the hook and it was being deliberately ignored because no one had time to answer it, and it was true chaos. I want to try this place sometime when it's not at peak rush, because I'm thinking maybe I caught them at a bad time. Like someone pulled a scarface from Half Baked on them or something. But regardless of that, The service was very slow despite the fact the staff appeared to be running at warp speed. I'm still waiting in the restaurant as I write this waiting for the takeout I was expecting just to pick up at the door in 20 seconds. Just make sure you tip these poor souls if you ever come here. I feel like I'm waiting for my food in a Cambodian garment sweatshop.
google avatar

April M.

Yelp
The all you can eat sushi is wonderful. The service was pretty slow. It took a long time for my food to come once I ordered it. The price is for sure worth it especially if you enjoy sushi. I think in general the place needs some better organization and to train the employees. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Our food was delivered and the driver was supposed to call or text upon arrival. That didn't happen. I finally went out to look outside and there was our bag shivering in the freezing cold. Of course, the hot food was now cold. Then we noticed that our order was missing a salad. (See the pic of the receipt: Everything was checked off except for the salad.) We called to let them know about the missing item and they said we were welcome to come pick it up or receive a gift card. Happy Valentine's Day to us.

Yelp
Really wanted this place to succeed and it may, but it's just not there yet. Pros: -Good price -Unlimited food -Had 3 people and ordered 9 rolls (all good, but tasted cheap), 5 apps (don't order calamari), and two desserts (fried oreos weren't good) Cons: -Waitress seemed extremely busy and was bringing us things we didn't order -Never brought one person at our table a water the entire dinner -Never brought individual plates -Waitress would touch the tops of our drinks while delivering them...easy fix but very gross COVID -Staff was wearing masks, but the place just didn't feel clean at times -A table next to us had a girl that was just coughing away the entire dinner. Not the restaurant's fault, but it made the experience uncomfortable. Overall not the experience I was looking for, but being new I can see them making the necessary changes to succeed. Good luck
google avatar

Gabi B.

Yelp
today I decided to give this place a chance, the waiter was nice, but he smelled like cigarettes, thats fine, when he brought me the salad , the plate was dirty and smelled like cigarettes, and he had a runny nose (he I didn't wear a mask) a drop of his nose fell right into my husband's drink, at the time we lost our appetite, we went inside to explain the situation and say we didn't want lunch anymore, the sushi men didn't use a mask and his nose was also dripping, he would touch his nose and make sushi. I'll never be back! Sorry guys !

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick meal today & was pleasantly surprised by the prices, service, & overall atmosphere! We were in a bit of a rush for lunch but the timing was excellent, both our appetizers & sushi came out fast. Nathan was an excellent server, very accommodating & courteous throughout our stay. I'll definitely return-- all you can eat sushi for this price was awesome. Thanks Nathan & all for the great experience!!

Yelp
My wife and I tried Kasumi for dinner last night for the first time and they did NOT disappoint. We were extremely happy with everything we ordered. Food flavors and presentation were spot on. After last nights meal, this will be our new go to spot for sushi in Lincoln. The entire restaurant was very clean, the decor was great and the staff was even better. We would highly recommend Kasumi for sushi any time.

Vicki K.

Yelp
Only 2 servers on a night of an event. Do not take names and sat people without reservations that just walked in before several of us already waiting for a table. Too many other good sushi places in Lincoln to give this place even a second chance..
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
I'm so glad there's an AYCE sushi place in Lincoln finally. They have decent selections and fish quality for nigiri and rolls. I also love their char siu bun. The waitress was so friendly and helpful, and everything she recommended was delicious! We'll definitely be back to try more!!

Mona M.

Yelp
Not good at all! I tried tuna rolls. Lots of rice and does not taste good. I don't recommend it. Don't waste your money.

Hannah F.

Yelp
The all you can eat option is amazing, especially if you love sushi. The food isn't incredible, but for all you can eat (especially for the raw sushi) it's a great deal. The raw fish, notably the tuna and salmon, are very good. The first time I went my server was incredible, very kind and friendly and checked on us frequently. The second time the server was awful. Had to request refills twice, didn't bring out all the food we ordered even after we reminded her, and overall had a rude attitude. But I would still give four stars based on the first experience and the food overall. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest, but the place is pretty nice looking.
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
Wonderfully delighted with this spot! I come to Lincoln for work often and stay down the street. Everything I tried for the all-you-can-eat sushi for $24.99 was delicious! I will certainly be back!
google avatar

Ling H.

Yelp
We went there today to celebrate my birthday. All you can eat sushi for dinner is $24.99 per person, excluding the tax and tips. I just can eat cooked sushi, and it is pretty good.My friends ate raw sushi, and it's not as fresh as in Japan, but pretty good in Nebraska. However, the waitress is very busy,so we waited for her to refill water and add food for long time.If you are not in a hurry,it's a nice place to have dinner.
google avatar

Therin B.

Yelp
So good! We stopped for AYCE sushi for lunch. Ordered the crab rangoons, gyoza, and the kasumi roll, BB King, sunshine roll, and oishii roll. So good! We commented on how fresh the fish tasted multiple times. Would be good for a group so you can try a lot of different rolls.
google avatar

Alexis S.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant twice now and each time it's been a bad experience. My husband and I were told it would only be a few minutes before being seated and they hostess never asked for our name, just to be seated. We sat for over half an hour and we're getting skipped over. We eventually just left. Another time I was there my group and I waited for our waitress for about an hour just to get condiments to the table. We had to ask a bus boy to help us. On top of the order being completely wrong.. positive note is that the food is amazing. Just a shame that everything else is chaotic.

John H.

Yelp
Amazing!!!! I love this place. Great customer service and the sushi I great. Sashimi is now $2 for every order (3 pieces) which is also a great deal. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant and it's way better than blue sushi down the street. Much better value and overall highly recommend

saylor d.

Yelp
The wait staff wasn't very considerate. We went in when it wasn't that busy and they ignored us for like the first 10 minutes when they sat us down a lady who wasn't our waitress brought us our waters and said nothing just put them on the table. And our waitress didn't check on us at all just took our order then handed us the check.
google avatar

Alexs C.

Yelp
When we ordered a Margarita drink and 2 flies where in the drink, they brought another one! Sadly we were not able to eat in peace when I said we were not going to be paying for the drink they were offended and then charged me ah $8 tip without my approval! Finally said fuck it and paid, but hell if I will go again!

Ellie F.

Yelp
I love eating the $23 all you can eat it's one of my favorite sushi places definitely makes it worth your money. They do add on tips before you even pay for it so it ends up being $10 more without you realizing it and the sushi sometimes comes out warm but other than that I really like it. If they made sure the sushi was cold when that was sent out to you it be perfect
google avatar

Luke M.

Yelp
Very nice people working! Clean and good background music. Excellent sushi, I love the very affordable all you can eat! Best sushi in Lincoln in my opinion don't @ me

Diego V.

Yelp
Come on a Sunday- all you can eat! I didn't know it was "AYCE" when I walked in, but was glad to see it, because they give you a generous choice of specialty rolls, appetizers, salads And desserts to choose from. Very tasty rolls, in record time. My only complaint,(very minor) is that the tea wasn't very hot. But that I can live with.
google avatar

Collin S.

Yelp
Great Sushi! The service was good as well. The decor of the place is very cool too. It looks newly updated and renovated. We ordered the $20 all you can eat sushi when we went there. The food came out fast and it was delicious and filling. Its $20 per person but our total bill was around $50 with a tip which for a nice sushi place is pretty good I thought. They have a good selection of specialty rolls as well as the traditional rolls you will find at any sushi place. Give this place a try!
google avatar

Jon P.

Yelp
Terrible. Very terrible. Do not go here. It's bad. Very low quality in every aspect.

Tess F.

Yelp
The sushi is pretty good. Definitely not as good as a hiro or blue sushi. But the $20 all you can eat is totally worth it. A few rolls on the menu are pretty much the same ingredients listed in a different order. Service is almost always pretty slow though. All you can eat is worth it because you can eat your moneys worth, but I wouldn't recommend for the atmosphere and service alone.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
False advertising! We received a flyer for all you can eat for $14.99 during lunch. Note this is not available on weekends! The staff verified that it was never stated as such however they do NOT honor their pricing on weekends. The waitress even suggested going to a different sushi restaurant.

Jose Raul B.

Yelp
Zero stars! Worst service ever. More than 20 minutes waiting for service. The restaurant was almost empty.

Aa D.

Yelp
BEST restaurant in allll of Lincoln. This is where my old coworkers and I usually meet to catch up and the serves are usually on point. Just thinking about how good the food is could make me cry...
