Yelp
A good experience about sums up what you can expect here as a dining experience -- not bad, but not excellent. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant, emulating a modernised/neon-ified Tokyo restaurant, black-stained wood and lacquer off-setting the colourful, glammy lights. The menu has a wide array of sushis, from the simple to the popular Americana rolls you can find in most sushi parlours across the country (Dragon roll, California roll, CC roll, etc.), as well as some other, cooked Japanese fare for those who might not be fans of raw fish, such as a small selection of udon, ramen, bento boxes, and so forth.
I had a fried California roll with a stir-fried chicken yaki udon, and both were nice, though not the best versions I have ever tasted. I also had the "hot tea" (ostensibly green tea), and I was a little put-out to find that, however else they prepare the tea, they finish it off by blasting it in a microwave, given that the cup is far too hot to hold at first when they serve you it (which doesn't happen if the tea was heated or boiled on its own, then poured into the cup to be served). The service was a little bit chilly as well -- not rude, just sort of absent-minded or apathetic. So there are a few edges that could be smoothed out a little as far as the food quality and service goes, but, again, it is not bad, and I will definitely return.
