**Edit, in response to the owners response**
**Katharine, the owner and sole proprietor of this establishment, was given many opportunities to offer a refund during the first conversation on the phone, but never did so.
The only thing that was short was their response which was “no” multiple times when asked for said refund.
It’s sad that the only reason they’re offering it in the first place, in response to this review, is so they can save face.
And even sadder that they felt the need to make up lies.
That just shows the lack of integrity.
I’d also like to add that we had no problem coming back in and buying something else, without a refund.
We truly were fans of the food.
The main thing that deeply disturbed us was the terrible customer service from, what I’m assuming was the owner.**
The woman I spoke to on the phone had terrible customer service and a nasty attitude! I’ve been pesceterian for 10 plus years and ordered a fish dish, that had no description of it having any sort of meat whatsoever. I took a bite and noticed there were chunks of meat in the sauce that the fish was topped with. The woman I spoke with on the phone had a heinous attitude and said I wouldn’t be comped and to “give the food to someone else” in a smug tone, since I wasn’t able to eat it. She also said that it’s stated that there is Tasso sausage, but in the description of the menu it says Tasso sauce. How was I supposed to know that this is actually a red meat dish? Never coming back here again. What a despicable and unprofessional establishment.
