Amazing service & freshest seafood with unique choices. This is a secret gold mine for me, a person who loves to cook. All the seafood I order is straight from the fisherman and the customer service doesn’t get any better! They are personable, helpful, and always willing to help with the complicated orders. I do recommend preordering certain items to ensure they have the amount you need.

My wife requested live lobster for her birthday, something I had never ordered or cooked before, so I didn't even know where to start. Luckily I came across Kathleen's Catch in my searches and I'm glad I did. I don't know much about lobster pricing but it seemed very fair for what I received. The order was ready for me the day after I called, just in time to get it home and cook them up that evening. They were fantastic. I plan to return for more seafood purchases and also their in-store prepared foods.

I bought live lobsters here recently to make stuffed shells. Everything from the customer service over the phone and in person was delightful. Prices are reasonable. It’s a fresh seafood market, do your research on what you should pay. The flavor, quality and quantity was 100% justified in the price. And let me tell you, the flavor of these lobsters was incredible. I’m already looking at their menu to see what I’ll be getting next. First time customer and gained our loyalty. I normally avoid 5 stars but, Kathleen's Catch has my 5 stars!!+ I requested to smell the Salmon the young girl said had arrived that morning. It was spot on no smell. Perfect! We are visiting from Coastal Maine and know our fish. She even offered ice to keep it fresh. Highly recommend this place! It tasted amazing! Thank you Kathleen's Catch. We will be back.

Visited location on Wednesday. Asked for fresh scallops and the person working said they were put out last Saturday. Thinking the scallops were still out to sell I bought some. Got home and they smelled horrible smelling up my entire hom. Had to open all the windows and air my home out. The snapper I bought they said it was put out on the same day Wednesday. Again, terrible sting fish smell. I will not be cooking. This place used to have really fresh seafood. Disappointed.

I bought some trout at Kathleen's Catch last week. It was extremely fresh and reasonably priced. The product selection is not huge but the quality all seems to be top notch. Service was efficient and courteous. What more can you ask of a fish place?

Purchased the crab cakes twice. Once to test them out and 2nd time for my book club. The crab cakes were delicious. The seasoning was perfect and the crab was fresh. My book club raved about them. Glad I stopped by!

If your lobster roll looks like this , you must alter your price. This is no where near worth $15. Severely disappointed !

Very fresh fish. I have been there twice and purchased red snapper the first time and then halibut most recently. Both turned out great on the grill. Very pricey but I guess that's life these days

What a gem!! It is a seafood retailer but they have one of the best lobster rolls around, maybe of whole Atlanta to be honest! And for less than $20, truly a deal! They know their seafood, so basically you can walk in anyday and they have the fresh catch. Their staffs are super friendly and knowledgeable. Impressive.

This is the 3rd time I've shopped at Kathleen's Catch. The first time I had such a wonderful experience, but the last two times I've had issues. I've bought a salmon filet (which should be boneless and scaleless) according to an associate. Why do I come home to a fish that has scales and bones?! I included pictures. I'm so disappointed I gave this shop another chance after the last time AND I asked the associate because of the last experience and still ended up with a salmon filet that has scales and bones. I'm not providing good money for half service.

Difficult to give them even a single star. Beware. Never, ever patronize this spot. We ordered crab legs and salmon for Christmas dinner. Pre paid. Just to be sure, we emailed twice, received confirmation emails, and called twice... received a phone call back and drove to their location a day prior to confirm everything was set. Our credit card was charged. However, no food. No remorse. She claims she simply sold out...was not even slightly apologetic. Way to completely ruin our Christmas dinner -shocked & in disbelief. So awful that someone could possibly run a business like this - highly unethical!!! We were t the only ones leaving upset either. Will not be back, needless to say.

Best fresh Mahi I've had in years! I was craving this for my birthday dinner so I bought all they had for the day to share with my kids and parents. I will definitely know where to go should I want any more. Their grouper looked amazing too!

I have been looking for a store that sells FRESH (not frozen) seafood and now my tummy has found a home. Kathleen's in Brookhaven is not as close as I would like but it is worth the drive. I will definitely be a frequent patron.

I have been coming to Kathleen's for years at both locations for their seafood. It is always fresh and whatever you buy is going to make a great meal. We particularly love the shrimp and scallops. They are always fresh and quite good. They have a nice variety of fish that is usually always portioned for you. Both locations are clean and do not have a hint of a fishy smell. The staff is always helpful and has given me advice on how to prepare my seafood. Remember to check the freezer for some great deals on fresh frozen fish. Only place I know where you can get real Louisiana frozen crawfish.

Checking out the new neighborhood I discovered Kathleen's Catch what a nice find indeed. Seafood is the product being sold here, mostly wild and is shipped in daily. Upon walking in you will immediately smell a "sweetness" in the air that alone will tell ya how fresh everything is. For sale: fish, shellfish, lobster tails, crab cakes, dips and even seafood pie are available fresh or frozen. I adore a calamari steak it is not an easy product to find and they have it here I am so glad to have found it as I will be back for it often. Soup is on a table and is $5.50 - $9.99 per container try the clam chowder oooh this is good and worth the price per cup. While the prices aren't cheap they are less than the Whole Foods around the corner.

Excellent selection of seafood and very friendly, helpful team members. I was able to get frozen crawfish as well as new seasonings. I'll try some other fish items next time.

Love this place. Being from Houston and growing up in Louisiana, this place has most of the things I need when I'm yearning for home.

If you are looking for fresh fish and great service, look no further. These folks do it right and have a great selection of condiments, sauces, seafood focuses accessories. Did I tell the fish is fresh? Oh yeah and then some. I have lots if foodie friends who all say the same thing Enjoy!

The staff was really nice and they had great seafood itself. We got the lobster rolls and crab cake sandwich. There was a but too much bread and it wasn't the best bread, but the place is supposed to be a seafood market, so I guess it is somewhat to be expected. It was moderate to a bit pricy, but the lobster and crab were fantastic!

KC is a great place!! I am in the food service business and the fish IS high quality and very fresh! They receive multiple seafood deliveries a week. I know because I live down the street and I see the delivery trucks. To those who posted about the lobster rolls and the presentation...., KC is NOT a restaurant! If they made them ahead of time to look pretty and all, by the time you ate them they would be mush!!! If you want a nice presentation then go to a restaurant! SMH you people should have your yelp card revoked. You can't compare apples and oranges!!!!

We visited Kathleen's Catch (John's Creek) this morning for the first time. We had the pleasure of meeting Evan, the Market Manager. Evan took the time to explain the background of the market and that everything is fresh every day. He also showed us how the fish is all portioned evenly, something that allows all pieces to cook in the same amount of time. We made our selections and mentioned that the plan was to grill the fish. Evan suggested, and selected, pieces that were a little thicker. Then, everything was packaged up. He included a good size bag of ice just to make sure our purchase stayed cool for the trip back home. We were very happy with our experience today and, if all goes well, we hope to make this a weekly trip. Thanks to Evan for all of his assistance.

I had the lobster roll and lobster bisque. The lobster roll was pretty good. Just needed a lemon wedge or some butter. The bun was really nice. Nice and steamy. The bisque wasn't that great though. Didn't have that much lobster in it and it had a heavy butter taste. The place itself was clean and had a nice layout of frozen and fresh seafood. I'd get the roll again.

Great for FRESH seafood - we brought home cod for lenten season meal. So ... good.

Went to the store for the first time today because of great reviews here. This is wonderful like everyone said. We got some fish and shrimp today and all are very fresh. I will be a usual shopper from now on!

People on here complaining about the lobster rolls on here are crazy! This is the best I've had in Atlanta and the cheapest! This place is a seafood market and not a restaurant so keep that in mind. The bun from the lobster roll at Beetlecat is really good but the entire roll is not better plus it's like double the price. That bun with Kathleen's catch would be over the top! It's already the best I've had but as a foodie I figured I would post it on here and maybe they would try that with the recipe as well!

Great conch I asked Yelp about fresh CV conch and when it was possible, Mrs. Kathleen saw the question and responded to my question.

Russ was terrific!!! He assisted me in finding the perfect cut of fish and went as far as making the best grilling suggestions. He shared a few of Kathleen's wonderful recipes. The fresh fish display was immaculate, the store adorable and stocked with delicious rubs and sauces. This is definitely my new fish market!

Kathleen's catch is truly a gem in this area and i love supporting small businesses. I was excited to find this place so we stopped by on a Sunday. I was craving Chilean Sea Bass so bad so i asked for 4 pieces until i was told it was either $12 or $15 and i quickly changed to just 2 lol. The catch of the day was the Sockeye Salmon so we got that for my MIL. I also got a seafood/steak rub which i still have yet to try but it smelled and looked good :-/ I will definitely return next time i'm in the area when i have more time maybe with my mom!

Kathleen's catch is a truly a gem in Johns Creek, I have been coming since they opened and have never been disappointed. I recently spent time in Maine eating lot's of lobster and paying anywhere from $19.95 - $25.00 for lobster rolls. Kathleen's is a bargain. I also happened to be in Whole Foods and bought scallops (sorry Kathleen), when cooked the pan was full of water from the scallops, I didn't realize they had been frozen. This would never happen if I had bought at Kathleens!!

Kathleen's Catch is a good place to get fresh fish. They have a lot of variety of fish from around the world but their fish does cost a little more than other fish stores but is worth it. The workers there are really nice and informative. I usually love getting their steelhead salmon and rainbow trout. Also, they have sushi grade fish and have sandwiches you can order.

Kathleen's Catch never fails to satisfy! From scallops, fresh fish to for lobster rolls, we're hooked on this small gem of a neighborhood speciality shop. If you're planning a dinner party - go there first!

We went in hoping to get some Chilean Sea bass for dinner Sunday, but they were all out. According to the friendly guy working the counter, they get fresh deliveries every day except Sunday. So the good news is they ARE open on Sundays, but the bad news is the selection is less. We picked up some Maine lobster tails, which were frozen, but delicious! We were both very impressed by the quality. I'll be back during the week to get some Chilean Sea Bass.

You guys, here is a fundamental truth: not all fish are the same. It's like this: once you know what fresh sushi tastes like, you'll never be able to happily down frozen sushi again. Nothing truly compares to fresh fish - OMG I'm salivating already. Without exaggeration, I can confidently say that I enjoyed one of my most delicious homecooked meals of my life with the help of Kathleen's halibut. Geez - halibut isn't even my favorite fish, but dude, their halibut is freaking awesome, particularly when rubbed with the Cajun seasoning they sell. Ahhhhh-mazing. (oh my gosh, and paired with risotto and a glass of wine?! Dying.) The shop is fairly small, but generously packed with all sorts of fresh fish. Considering I stopped by on a weekend, my fish wasn't *super* fresh (as, if I'm not mistaken, they only receive deliveries weekdays), but it still tasted marvelous, a thousand times better than most other restaurants. And, I'm not talking about your uninspired chain restaurants; I'm talking about the cloth napkin ones that claim their "fresh" catch of the day is worth upwards of $17. Halibut for three rang in around $40. The prices are unsurprisingly higher than your local grocery store, but if you're serious about quality food that will make you deliriously happy, then the extra bucks are worth it. If you're hosting a party or holiday get-togethers, Kathleen's is a definite yes. As I mentioned, they also offer a wide assortment of seasonings and a few frozen treats (such as crab cakes). The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable, and I suspect they could answer just about any fish-related query you might have. A fishmonger just around the corner! What a treat.

We'd been looking for a good, local fish market, since we have been unsatisfied with the supermarkets in the area. Whole Foods does sometimes have good-looking seafood, but the prices are just crazy. Kathleen's is a small shop. Kathleen herself was manning the counter with one other associate when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. We liked how all their fish is traceable. They say they can tell not only what country it came from, but who caught, packaged and trucked it. There were nice oysters from the northeast (Welfleet and others), tuna, salmon and other standards as well as some special items. We opted for some Wahoo, which had just come in. It looked super-fresh. We also got some scallops. I really wanted to get crab, but that will have to wait for next time. Kathleen's also has some sauces and spices/rubs for sale, plus a few limes, potatoes and such if you just want to grab something quick as a side and avoid the supermarket altogether. There is a freezer with some frozen fish, Portuguese sardines, gumbo and a few other items as well. We were impressed with the customer service. The staff was super friendly and informative. We will be back!

We went here, this time, specifically for the famous lobster roll. I looked at the picture and what I had received was nothing like it. You know the magazine write up what the lobster roll look like in the magazine?! You know, the one that won all the awards in the magazine?! Because when you get it on site looks nothing like the picture and I'll be honest the lobster it's self tasted exactly like what you get at the Golden Corral buffet. It's as if somebody scooped it out and put it on a hotdog bun yes a damn hot dog bun. For 12 bucks this is what you got. It was so gross full of celery all I could feel in my mouth was a crunchy texture the whole time. It would not be getting that again. And the sad thing is I've been in this place numerous times went to several of their cooking demonstration classes at both locations and for the first time Kathleen herself was in the restaurant my little girl was in awe to see her and kept asking me if this was her I said yes. My daughter was staring as was I!I would've loved to of made eye contact and shake her hand and said what huge fans we were but nothing!! did not make eye contact with us! didn't greet us, didn't say hello, nothing. This little restaurant may seat three people so we were really taken back in a way. So we got a gross bun and crap service. we're not big fans or supporters anymore.

I heard a lot of good things about Kathleen's catch, especially on the lobster roll. I had the most amazing lobster roll back in Austin and I was looking for a fairly comparable place here and by my description I was told this was the place. The presentation of the roll is extremely disappointing, they give you a typical hot dog bun and serve your "lobster" in a small plastic container where restaurants typically serve dressing to go. The taste was nothing short of decent, absolutely nothing to rave about. I was pretty upset at the $11.32 that I paid for the type of roll that I received. They definitely need to work on better bread and more meat on the roll. Overall 1 star for me and I won't be going back to this place.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LOBSTER ROll! For 13.00$ they gave you a hot dog bun with a small tub of lobster to assemble yourself! Do not waste your money on the roll. But I did not try anything else

I read the reviews written about this place, so I drove three hours to try it out. I ordered the tuna salad, my wife ordered the shrimp soup. The total bill was $17 and change, which did not seem like much, until I opened the paper bag and found a 4 ounce container that most restaurants would use to put the salad dressing in. Turns out that was the salad, very very overpriced for no reason! The soup was good, but again don't be fooled by this fish market.

Please try the Lobster Roll. Brought me back to Montauk during my years in NYC! Great place with great service. Look forward to prepping the fresh salmon and starting with the shrimp spread as an app. Look forward to returning.

Purchased fish there for several years, back when it was just fish and not the neat little market it is now. Their selection is quite versatile and always the freshest in the area. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff; well worth the effort.

A few months ago I walked into Kathleen's market and asked her why I should shop there, considering there was a Publix, Whole Foods and Kroger across the street. She explained that her seafoods were the freshest available in Atlanta and that she only stocks small amounts of each item, and replenishes with daily deliveries from her supplier. Every thing i have tried there has been spectacular! The fish and shrimp look different, smell different and absolutely taste better than anything I have ever purchased at the stores listed above. Try the Halibut, Gulf Red Snapper and NC shrimp and make up your own mind. Everyone I send there loves this store after just one visit. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Johns Creek needs more merchants like Kathleen.

Nice selection of fresh fish you can't find in the grocery store. Picked up 5 oz chilean sea bass and trout for around $13 each. Also got the lobster roll for $9.99. I agree with other reviews that it was small for the price, but the lobster was very tastyand you're paying for the freshness of it. However i would've loved if it had been on an actual roll and not a hot dog bun. That would've made it even better. I ended up just eating it out of the container with a fork. Was that good. We also picked up some cedar planks for the grill and a packet of their homemade caribbean seasoning. Both worked great for our dinner. They were very nice as well, even teased me about my college sweatshirt. Will return.

A superior private fish market we are fortunate to have here in Duluth. Or maybe it is John's Creek. Whatever the town the quality of the product, the service and the very friendly atmosphere make this a must stop for fresh and always exceptional sea food of all kinds. Get on the email list and you are always up to date on what is readily available. If you love top notch seafood this place is for you.

Fish here is great... Like just got done swimming 2 days ago fresh. People are nice. Prices are fair. They will do special orders if you request them. Cool people.

Brought some Jumbo King Crab legs. They were not jumbo (only 0.5lb per leg), yet slightly over priced. The reason I rated 1 star because the crab legs must have been in the freezer too long. They were freezer burned.

Kathleen's is the best seafood market. Always an amazing selection of the freshest fish available. Some of her fresh oysters and fish make its way to our table pretty much every week.

We are so pleased with Kathleen's Catch and the quality of the seafood. They have a great variety of wild, fresh fish as well as multiple types of oysters. We special ordered live Maine lobster, and they were delicious.
