"Nawab says one of his biggest success stories is Kathmandu Momo, a Nepalese dumpling pop-up that was part of his curated lineup inside Omaha’s Inner Rail Food Hall in 2019. They went on to open a 4,000-square-foot Indian restaurant a few blocks away." - Tierney Plumb

Momos are great!! The broth is rich, has a little kick, and is the perfect amount. I was very full after eating this, it was more than enough. The dough was cooked very well. Probably the best restaurant in inner rail hall, looking forward to trying their Sekuwa.

Google
Came in to try their ramen and my friend I was with decided to try the soup dumplings. I ordered spicy ramen with the vegetarian base and chicken. The ramen was pretty much flavorless and had no spice to it. The only flavor I picked up on was from the lemon slice they garnished the bowl with. My friend couldn't even palette the soup dumplings. They were more like wontons than actual soup dumplings and the soup they were in wasn't sweet and sour like they had said. I had high hopes for this place but it is unfortunately a complete waste of money and gross.

Google
The food was incredible! We had the rice bowls and I absolutely loved it! The steamed dumplings are literally the best dumplings I've ever tasted. The service was exceptional! This place definitely went to the top of my list of places to eat! You wont be disappointed!

Google
Got the Momo with Hot and Sour soup. It is spicy, and it is delicious. Great lunch on a cold day. Service was fine. The atmosphere in any good hall is A LITTLE NOISY, but it's a food hall, so don't worry about it unless that's a deal breaker.

Google
Service: The service at Kathmandu Momo Station is friendly and efficient. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, often willing to recommend dishes or spice levels based on customer preferences. The food comes out promptly, even during busy times. Overall: Kathmandu Momo Station is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to try authentic Nepalese momos or craving comforting, flavorful food. The combination of great taste, quality ingredients, and a relaxed environment makes it a top pick for both newcomers and momo enthusiasts. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, this spot is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Google
Favorite place to order in Inner rail!!! The chicken and pork momos are OUTSTANDING along with the different sauces for dipping!!! I tried the pork Momo soup and was surprised by how delicious it was!!! Looking forward to my next visit in!!! 10/10

Google
I took the cutest girl I’ve ever met in my life on a date here and now she’s my girlfriend. Now I’m not saying the momos are the reason she’s dating me, but they definitely did help. Do your tastebuds a favor and check them out in the Inner Rail!

Google
My wish to eat momos has finally fulfilled. This is my first time and I had the vegan momos. They are really yum. I tried most of the sauces and I liked all of them. My favorite is Mango Habanero and the green reaper. I also had the vegan ramen and it's alright. I really didn't find rich flavors that goes into Ramen. All in all it was a good experience. I would go back there and try more dishes. 10/10/2021 - I have updated my rating to 1/5. I had Vegan momos today and they are the worst. Uncooked, soggy, bizzare flavor. I would stay away from Momo station for good.

Yelp
I love the concept behind this place, but unfortunately, the momos didn't quite hit the mark for me. I would have loved the option to get them half-fried, half-steamed - that would be a game-changer! The pork momos were decent, but the sauce was missing some spice. It seemed a bit too diluted.

Brad M.

Yelp
Momo soup was delish. Fried dumplings were awesome! No reason not to patronize this international delight!

Kevin W.

Yelp
First time here, won't be the last. A co-worker encouraged me to try this place long ago. I forgot what she explained a Momo is, so I Googled images. I don't recommend doing that. Ignore the creepy cartoon character. I attached a picture so you don't have to Google it. We ordered the pork Momos in soup. You get three choices of broth. We ordered the basic and it was still spicy (I was left wondering what the option for habanero broth tastes like, so.... next time!). The steamed Momos were plentiful and burst with flavor! Wow. One order was enough to feed two, though I was wishing my dining partner was not there as we ate it.

Chad W.

Yelp
Had Momo finally and had heard lots of good things. Sadly I love dumplings and have had the pleasure of having them all Over the world. I ordered monos in soup. They call the broth hot and sour but it was more like coconut milk/ ginger tasting. The dumplings themselves were ok. Maybe will try again someday. Over all it was good but not great or mind blowing.

Jamie R.

Yelp
The ramen is well made and fresh but I really just do not care for the flavor of it. I had the tofu with seafood broth which is a good combination but there is a spice profile in the ramen which simply isn't for me. The cashiers were as nice as can be. It's a shame to have to give it three stars.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I just can't get enough momos. Anytime, anywhere. I'm ready to throw down about 100 of them. Fried, steamed, pork, chicken... all the sauces. Doesn't matter. They're all AWESOME. Our kids are also big fans too so that's a win... or not, depending on how you look at that because then I have to share! And if (NEVER!) you've had your fill of Momo or if you (NO!) don't care for them (GET OUT!) there's also amazing Burmese ramen to be had. So... EAT UP.

John S.

Yelp
Great momos, definitely get them steamed. Plump, filling and a cheap eats. I loved their sweet chili sauce, right amount of kick and not overly sweet.

Bo W.

Yelp
Not my favorite ramen. I didn't like the flavors. The wait was triple that of other restaurants in the Inner Rail Food Hall. There are much better options here. Probably wouldn't go back just for this reason.

Autumn Sky B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try momos from this spot for quite some time & they did not disappoint! Located inside Inner Rail (great concept with fantastic food options) at Aksarben Village this is a great spot to grab lunch with co-workers or head over from UNO with classmates. Prices were higher than the listed menu on Inner Rail but only a dollar or so. The chicken momo was unlike any other dumpling I've had - the texture was amazing & the ingredients tasted super fresh. I got the mild sauce & loved every bite of it. A small serving of 7 was enough to fill me up for lunch.

Sarah P.

Yelp
This food station inside of Inner Rail was delicious! I had the pork Momos, which are Nepalese dumplings similar to Chinese soup dumplings. I thought they were sublime and the sauce they came with was good as well. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu since it all smelled delicious.

Jim L.

Yelp
Ohmagoodness! It's been way too long since I've visited Kathmandu Momo Station. I had their glass noodle salad with a pork momo and aloo chop. Everything was super delicious. I loved the taste combinations with the sauces too. The glass salad was just incredible. Well, it all was. Get down here and give it a try. There are no bad options in the Inner Rail but definitely some standouts. Kathmandu and Maharani met my cold weather cravings today.

Kurt S.

Yelp
I went here a few months ago to try their food and it was good, not great. I thought the food was a tad bland, especially the momo's. Their sauces that they give you was good though. Don't remember the name of their signature sauce. I don';t think I will go back though. Out of all the options at this location, I will go with something different next time.

Farai T.

Yelp
The dumplings are amazing! Our personal favorite is the mango habanero sauce that goes with the dumplings! Chicken or pork are really yummy! Raki and co have something going on here! If you are looking for truly authentic Kathmandu dumplings with tons of intricate flavors and moist goodness go to Momo at Arksarben. The service is always top notch and the ambience is great and casual setting! I'd rate these dumplings and other food options 5/5! Enjoy!

Sebastian B.

Yelp
We came here for a Yelp event and wanted to try this place The Good: The Glass Noodle Salad was the chef's choice for us to try. It did not disappoint at all. The cold dish had an interesting taste for the first bite, but then eating more of it made it clear that the flavors start to.comw out more and more with each bite. We were very pleased with his choice and enjoyed it very much! The Bad: Yep, you guessed it... nothing negative to report here! The Ugly Truth: The salad would not have been a choice of mine to order. Being here for Yelp Elite and getting what the restaurant wants to highlight made it a great way to.try something new. We were really happy with it and would recommend it for anyone to try!!

Darcy B.

Yelp
Stopped here as a yelp elite reward and ordered their free special and went about our way.. Stopped at a couple of other vendors and as soon a swe sat down they had our food ready.. The special was the glass noodles served with a potato cake thing and a pot sticker, not sure exactly what it consisted of but it was very good. We were surprised that it was a cold dish. Thank you for the pleasant experience and we will stop back to try some other amazing foods off the menu..

Leela B.

Yelp
Momo's flavor is pretty good. Wrapper is pretty thicker side. Love their sauce; wish it was little more.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Delicious! And what fun food court fir all types of occasions. So many food choices! The Kathmandu Momo Station food was so flavorful and spices were on point. We order about 6 things on the menu to sample as much as we could. The sauces were amazing. The bowls could have used a bit more protein verses broth but it was delicious.

Leiauna P.

Yelp
If you're around the notorious Aksarben area, you should take a venture to this hot spot. This is a venue in the inner rail, which is a fun food court in the heart of Aksarben. With a wide array of choices to choose from, it could be quite overwhelming and busy! If you're in the mood for ramen this joint can do a quick fix for ya! Went here with a friend where we both got the ramen, myself got the medium heat vegan sauce with shrimp while my friend got medium heat vegan sauce with chicken! And of course we got a side of steamed momos :) the ramen didn't have an explosion of taste and expected a bit more heat for a medium spice. Momos were definitely the hit of our meal with a tasty sauce to dip them in! Overall, it's a good spot if you come here as a group and have a craving for ramen, however not a place I would specifically come to the inner rail for.

Karley S.

Yelp
The steamed chicken momos were pretty good. I was kind of let down by the spice/seasoning. I was expecting more. The two sauces were just ok

Christine H.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to sample Momo during an Elite event in March and I knew I wanted to come back. Their glass noodle salad is one of my favorite items and I couldn't resist ordering again during a more recent visit, not to mention it is under $5. All items are exceptionally flavored and prepared. The utilization of the buzzer system within the Inner Rail makes it a breeze to pick and choose items from different restaurants you would like to try - much better than the Flagship Commons operation at Westroads.

Leah W.

Yelp
Kathmandu station is one of the best spots in town. I was happy when they expanded their menu and opened a second location. They have a variety of bites ranging from Burmese ramen to wings to the oh so popular momo. I love the flavors of their sauces. The mango habanero is one of my favs. It may take a bit long to get your food but you will be happy with every bite!

Amy W.

Yelp
We recently ordered curbside to go from here and it was so amazingly delicious!! I had only had the steamed momos before this experience, which were of course delicious, but all of the different offerings in the Kathmandu set wowed us! Everything was prepared really nicely and tasted amazing. I loved having all of the sauces to sample as well. So much food for the price. I added a tea leaf salad because it is one of my favorites and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning here when everything opens up again as well as ordering curbside again. Also, I was told by the Inner Rail staff who was bringing food out to the garage that my wait was a little long because the chef was not happy with one of the dishes they prepared so they were remaking it for me. He offered me a free beer for the wait. Excellent service by Inner Rail and excellent food Kathmandu!

Brittany M.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the steamed pork dumplings- immaculate flavor! They have a variety of dipping sauces and I can't wait to try more. I ordered online and by the time I walked into Inner Rail my order was waiting for me. I will definitely be back.

Andrew R.

Yelp
I've been here twice now & both times have been out of the park. I got them fried & steamed. Dipped them in the mango habanero sauce & sheeeeeeesh . Definitely give them a shot.

Lon B.

Yelp
This place has the best Tea Leaf Salad I've had. Perfect balance of flavors and textures. i make a point of stoping for it whenever i'm in Omaha.

Kristin O.

Yelp
We got the steamed pork momos and mango habenaro wings. Both had very tender meat. The dipping sauce for the momos had nice flavor to it- we got the "medium" level sauce in terms of spice. The spice wasn't overwhelming. As for the wings, these had great flavor and the spice wasn't overpowering- it kind of creeped up on you while eating them. Could've used more mango flavor. We will return to try the different momos and other items on their menu.

Jai B.

Yelp
Delicious ramen. I got the medium spicy and it was good without being too spicy. The mix of vegetables were tasty with plenty of cabbage and cilantro and green onion. I'm not used to the cabbage or peanuts or noodle style in this ramen but maybe it's just being Nepalese ramen. I like the spices but it was a bit over oily.

Anev S.

Yelp
With a picky child, I often find myself at the Inner Rail so we can all find something to suit our tastes. Somehow, it has taken me until very recently to try this place while I'm there and I'm realizing that was a silly decision. I tried the steamed chicken momo, fried pork momo, and the ramen, and every bite was so flavorful and juicy that I can't believe I've missed out so far. I will say- I have a higher spice tolerance than your average person but only about middling for real spice lovers, so I can confidently tell you that if you're looking for a real hit of heat, the Sherpa sauce delivers. I'm a big alliums appreciator but my child isn't so believe me when I say that the garlicky, oniony flavor of the momo filling is very special: I loved it AND my kid ate four whole bites, that's an accomplishment!

Meg B.

Yelp
My first Momo experience was fantastic! I didn't really know what to expect, but I just know I wanted more! They are so flavorful and filling. I tried fried, but I am definitely going to come try the fresh ones soon. The ramen that accompanied it was mind blowing. I didn't know ramen could pack so much punch. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the aroma is mouth watering. I really enjoyed this meal and I know they've got more variety that will be just as awesome trying out too!

Sam L.

Yelp
Nice little sampler from Kathmandu. Their momos have always been fantastic but I have not ventured to the other parts of their menu - this had a cold glass noodle salad and an aloo chop. Their sauces go well with absolutely everything

Antonio T.

Yelp
The Kathmandu Momo Station at Aksarben's Inner Rail Food Hall is a great place to stop at if you're looking for authentic Burmese/Nepali cuisine. The food here is based off of a family recipe that's been passed on for generations, and it always tastes great; packed with various flavors. I usually get the fish broth ramen & a large 10pc order of either chicken or pork momos, which are both the best-selling delicacies for this place. There are vegan options as well concerning the momos & ramen. The ramen as well as the momos are always packed with juicy & tasty flavors. Also love the chicken that they put in the ramen as an optional protein add-on. The momos come with Nepali chutney dip; both taste great when mixed together. I've been coming here off and on since 2019 when Inner Rail food hall first opened, and I'm happy to say that I'll continue to come back.

Kitty B.

Yelp
Delicious pork momo and shrimp Ramen. Finally decided to branch out and give momo a try. The shrimp was delicious, beautifully presented and opted for the fish broth. The staff was very pleasant!

Kshitiz S.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best ramen I have ever had. They also have the best dumplings also known as momo. Extremely satisfied with both the food and service. Aagya and Abhinav were awesome and were very patient when explaining the menu and food. Highly recommended.

Sujan G.

Yelp
We have ate here few times. Today we tried their Pork MoMo and it was great. Takes a while to get your order ready but it's worth the wait. Would definitely recommend this place.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
They didn't have beef dumplings the day I went so we got the chicken and veggie dumplings. The veggie dumplings were less than great unfortunately..and the chicken dumplings were alright. The mild sauce did not have much taste. The pineapple habanero sauce was sweet and had a slight spice to it but it still felt kinda watered down..I love the atmosphere and location though

Will C.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with their pork dumplings and mango habanero sauce. I don't know if I can stop. Try at your own risk of addiction.

Cass B.

Yelp
This was exactly what I needed in my life! I had Ramen and Pork Momos to go. The ramen had amazing flavor and a great balance of noodles to broth. The Momos where hands down the best I have ever had. I picked the Classic Sherpa sauce and it was delicious. I like spice and this sauce did not disappoint. I am excited to go back and try more things.

Cynthia B.

Yelp
I'd give this 5 stars hands down if it weren't in a food court. I didn't end up with my sauce for my momos but they were still delicious. I was in Omaha for work and can't wait to come back and get food here again.

Asia H.

Yelp
Super small tiny cute place that makes AMAZINNNNGGG DUMPLINGS AND MOMO. Me n my bestfriend came here to try something new and we both got chicken and pork momos with 3 different sauces and we didn't regret it. U can tell it's made with love. If you're in a mood to eat something that's not too heavy but not too light , this is perfect. Only thing I would recommend is more drink options. They only have water and coke. Don't expect to bring a large party . It only has about 4 seats .

Brittany H.

Yelp
The vegan Momo are absolutely stellar and if you order the vegan Momo soup, you will be blown away. The flavors and spices, the momos, the sauces, the vegan Ramen. Good God. It's just all amazing. Aloop is always delicious and great for sauce dipping. You'll literally be disappointed.

Leony T.

Yelp
Friendly staffs and delicious momos! My fav is the pork momos. Will go there again when I visit Omaha next time.

Niraj S.

Yelp
You have to try their momo's and chicken sekuwa and not to forget their amazing spicy Momo chutney!!! For everyone who is craving Nepali food this is an amazing choice!!

Allison U.

Yelp
Ramen had the potential to be delicious, but we ordered the medium and it was SO spicy. I usually like a good amount of spice, but this made my mouth burn. Wondering if we just got the wrong level of spice today. Might have to come back and give it another shot.

Sachin S.

Yelp
Chicken momo is good, pork momo is ok. Price is a bit higher with 8 momos that do not fill you up. I came from Bay area and i found this price expensive than Bay area. They could have given more salsa along with Momos.

Mark J.

Yelp
I think they seriously use spaghetti noodles for their ramen. Couldn't even get a whole egg. This place is terrible waste.of money.

Aaron A.

Yelp
I ordered Burmese Ramen and tea leaf salad, however what I got was the ramen and glass noodle salad. The food was relatively good, but the service was poor. I patiently waited as the 3-4 orders behind me got their food. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they had gotten my order correct, but having forgotten my order they needed me to restate it. After doing so, I was given my order, however it was incorrect. On top of this the employees seemed to be giggling about the fact that they had forgotten my order and never apologized for the long wait.

Christina L.

Yelp
The ramen was okay, but the dumplings definitely stole the show. The dumplings were delicious and well made! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed them and the sauces they came with. We do think it was a bit overpriced overall, but a lot of the restaurants in the Inner Food Rail area are similar in price point.

Dan G.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat in town. I can't believe I never had a momo before this place. It's pretty much just a wonton wrapper around a piece of tender meat and spices steamed to deliciousness. If you eat here, get the momos (it's in the name right?). Also make sure you get the sauce! A momo without sauce is a tragedy, and I can't believe some people make this mistake. Some people pour it on top I prefer to dip. The sauces are on the spicer side. Medium has some kick (even mild has a little) and grim creeper is for those who really appreciate some spicy! Chicken and pork are both good. I usually get 10 of each with 1 mild and 1 medium sauce. As to which ones best? It varies between visits. It usually comes down to which ones have the most oily juice inside. More often than not though.. it's the pork. I also prefer steamed over the fried by a long shot.

Jenn L.

Yelp
The momos are so addicting! Our favorite is the pork, once you try that, no sense to do anything else. We also liked the traditional sauce with a medium heat. We order them as an appetizer a couple of times. The ramen looked fabulous. The staff were extremely friendly. The momos are made fresh so takes about 12 minutes, they give you a buzzer to notify. Allows you time to go get a drink!
