Streetside dining along the main Koh Chang road. Easy walk from the Barali to Kati. This open-air restaurant has a special board on the left wall as you walk into this restaurant. Also available are extensive choices listed in a huge menu. Service was prompt and friendly. The roast duck curry was delicious and flavorful. The spicy fish soup was loaded with fish and veggies. Road noise was a bit much at times. Prices were a bit high....I saw several people leave after reviewing the menu, possibly because of higher prices. Handicap ♿️ doable. Final take ..... better than average .

Really great food! We had the vegetable tempura as an appetiser and they were really nice. I had the sweet and sour with rice and my boyfriend had the red curry. We both had them vegetarian. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some tasty Thai food.

What a great spot for an authentic Thai food on Koh Chang! Kati has a nice cozy vibe, we were seated right away. The staffs were friendly and polite. There were so many good options to choose from, though we went with Pineapple fried rice, spicy mango salad, pineapple curry, fried fish with tamarin sauce. Everything was delish, and beautifully plated! The food here is definitely pricier than the mainland restaurant but with the nice atmosphere and the great quality of food, it is well worth the experience. There is also a free sample of "Yadong" Thai spirits infused with herb for you to try. We will be back

Fantastic food By far the best meal that I had in Thailand. Delicate and inspired cooking. Innovative, some dishes are unique to this restaurant. Try the Chicken with fried lemon grass. Worth a "détour" just for that. Nice atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating with nice ceiling fans. Clean Toilet. Visible kitchen (from the side) A little pricey by Thai standards...but well worth it.

The reason I’ve only given 3/5 for atmosphere is because I was in on my own, it’s the middle of low season and no fault of the business. I had the roast duck red curry and honestly and I know it’s a cliche and a bit cheesy but I really think it was the best Thai dish I’ve ever had anywhere in Thailand. Everything about it was amazing, the freshness of ingredients, the textures and flavors and the presentation. Nicely decorated restaurant, nice chilled background music and a really friendly and professional waitress. Couldn’t fault my experience and I will be back again soon.

We chose Kati’s restaurant for our first night’s dinner in Koh Chang based on its positive reviews and the cooking school they offer, which we plan to attend later on. We were not disappointed! The food was of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. My personal favorite was the fried chicken with crispy shredded lemongrass—it was unique and incredibly tasty. I can’t wait to ask the owner how they prepare the lemongrass that way! We also tried the fish in tamarind sauce and the hot basil beef, both of which were fantastic. While prices are a bit higher than in other places, the quality of the food more than justifies it. The staff were friendly and efficient, though only the main waitress spoke English. All in all, a wonderful experience, and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back!

We were at Kati‘s at least 5 times during our stay. The food is great, the service super friendly and quick, and the home made coconut ice cream is to die for. The atmosphere is also very cosy - and it feels very clean (European kind of clean). They also have very good options for kids like plain spaghetti or potato puree (parents of picky eaters will understand 😅) Our absolute recommendation.
