Treasure Island’s 11 Best Beach Eats | Eater Miami

"Ka’Tiki’s menu might be small but is filled with classic Florida beach bar food — think burgers, tots, buffalo chicken sandwiches — with no frills and plenty of heavy pours to match. Its outdoor tiki bar boasts one of the best Gulf views around, and its nightly live music features some of the area’s best Florida folk music." - Arielle Stevenson

Laid back bar with live music and fair prices. This is the best bar on the St. Pete Beach and a little gem. Live music nightly and very accepting of people of all abilities.

Beautiful place, chairs were extremely uncomfortable. No service, you have to go up to the bar and only one waitress serving everyone. Music was great, beautiful sunset and good food. I really enjoyed Steven's music, he never even took a break and sang lots of great songs. He was covering for another band that was supposed to be there and at first I was disappointed but he kept us there. Would have stayed longer if seats were better.

Awesome place for live music almost everyday of the year. Laid back with a great vibe. Basically on the beach. Can see amazing sunsets from your bar stool.

7.20.2025 - I had been bringing my serivce animal for 2 weeks before this Sunday. As I'm walking to meet the regular group like usual. The bartender stopped and said they don't allow dogs. I explained he is a service animal. She said it doesn't matter we serve food, he can't be in here. My military friends came to my defense trying to explain to her that is allowed regardless. She threw her hands up and walked away. We had usual amount of bloody Mary's and were living to go to the American Legion. As I was leaving another guy that worked there stopped me and asked if the bartender said anything about my dog. I said yes she did make comments about my SERVICE ANIMAL and she didn't understand that it should not been an issue especially since he was quiet and not making a scene any of the times he was there. He said yes but since we serve food it really isn't allowed. So, I gave the whole speel again, and even he didn't get it. That day was the last time I went to Katiki. I will not go somewhere that does not understand the necessity of having a service animal or the CORRECT rules and difference of a SERVICE ANIMAL and an EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL and don't understand the law or respect Veterans, the only reason you have opportunity to complain. Y'all don't deserve a 1 star after that treatment. I have added photos of my battle buddy, Troubadour and the military family that have made me feel at home since I have been in Florida as a testament to his character and the group that have helped this bar's morning group. By all of their individual contributions, by using their own money to assist in bring in toppings for the bloody Mary's and increasing business for this local location Ka'tiki is strong as ever by the local support which are mostly retired veterans. After all the hardships this place has been through in the past few years, you think they would be more up to speed on current laws and state regulations as regards to service animals verse emotional support animals. Service animals have the highest protection under the Disability Act I'm really thinking of suing them for .50cents + attorney fees just to allow other services members the ability to go there without prejudice. I personally will never go back without an apology. I miss being with my military family would love to forgive yet not forget and let go back to a 5 star review. The next steps is yours Ka'Tiki. Can you try to be for those of wanting to help continue to heal and move forward? I'm still here for 3 more weeks and would to be allowed to hangout with my extended family til I come back early next for another 9 months.

We love coming to Ka’ Tiki which is across the street from a more private stretch of Sunset Beach. We always find a place to park and a seat at the bar. There’s live music in the weekends and the bar tenders are always friendly and on top of the service. The crowd is a good mix of people with lots of bikers and beachgoers. The menu features a wide selection of bar food and my husband always orders the $3.00 cheeseburgers! They have fries, mozzarella sticks, poppers, fried pickles, fried Mac n cheese bites, burgers, pizzas, BLT sandwiches and more. They also have $3.00 shots and a beautiful view of the beach across the street. When we’re done drinking and eating, we like to cross the street and enjoy some sun on the quiet strip of beach across the street. It’s a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and we highly recommend it.

Just wanted to shout out our favorite local bar! Always a great time at Ka’Tiki whether you’re looking for great music or great dive bar atmosphere! The weekend bands have been FIRE lately! The BLT and burgers are always great. The drinks are affordable and well made! We’ve made great friends over the years here! We love all of our Ka’Tiki family and staff and are glad that one year after digging out from Helene you’re still here! The only thing I’d change is put bartender Chris back behind the bar on Friday and Saturday nights! We need his speed and efficiency on those packed nights with the great bands you’ve been getting!

Great views of the sunset, great live music, and cheap food and drink. We loved it.

Yelp
Been coming for for many years, not a regular by any means but two or three times a month to catch some local talent. And all this time never really eating here. Think I had someones hot wings one time. But this time we decided to grab some lunch and listen to Bad Neighbors... lucky enough to get a table under the tiki. For being such a nice day and good music the bar tenders were handling it well. I wanted to try the cheeseburger, ordered it LTO and fries on the side. I believe the wife had a chicken sandwich. Be for we knew it our food was here and first thing I noticed was the patty was broke in half. Thought it may had happen when cooking, it was all there. Then I noticed all the burgers I saw were in half. I guess checking if their done. It was great beach side burger, the LTO was fresh and crisp and the fries were just as good...next time I'm there I'll get it again. On the bar it self, it's a true beach bar. The patrons and bartenders are nice, never had an issue nor seen any. PARKING, dang parking is hard to come by. The wife and I ride our bicycles some times because parking is bad, that's the only negative I take from this place. You stand a better chance to park if your on a motorcycle, they make room for you. Peace.

Yelp
My wife and I have been coming to Ka'tiki for the past twenty-five years and with multiple ownership changes and the city growing and changing, Ka'tiki still manages to be our favorite place to visit. We have not ever had a poor or bad experience at Ka'tiki. The biggest part of the crowd here is locals who visit every day. Most know each other and Ka'tiki serves as a local meeting place for those who are fortunate enough to live on Island Time. The crowd is older and most are retired and have moved to Florida from up North. The locals are friendly if you choose to interact but if you want to sit alone by yourselves, they will not bother you. The bar and service staff are friendly and nice, but if you come at them with an attitude, they can give it right back. This is a laid-back, dive bar experience with good drinks, low prices, great bar food, casual environment so if you are looking for a snooty, upscale experience, there are many places along Treasure Island to the North where you will fit in. If you want to come as you are, in your bathing suit and covered in sand with a burn then you will Love Ka'tiki like we do. They offer some great bands, awesome food made on-site, and both alcohol and beer. We love their draft beers, served ice cold in a picture with ice to keep it cold. They offer $3 Cheeseburgers all day, every day. You will not find another deal like this in Florida. They also offer other burger options, chicken and fish sandwiches, BLT's, appetizers and much more. It is all prepared fresh and served hot at your table. My personal favorite is their Hot Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side order of Fried Mushrooms or Jalapeno Poppers. But, everything is always excellent. Ka'tiki offers the best beer prices on the Island and most other places. This year their prices have increased like everything else but they still beat all the competition. So, why four instead of five stars? This is an outside bar, but most of the patrons smoke heavily inside the Tiki Hut. As time passes, there is a heavy smell of stale smoke that permeates the indoor area and with my asthma, one of my biggest triggers is cigarette smoke. Sitting outside is not an issue, but inside can be bad for me. It is close inside so it is highly likely that the people all around you will have lit cigarettes going and in colder weather, when the plastic is rolled down over the windows and there is not a breeze coming through I cannot go inside. But, for most, this is not an issue. The smoke does not bother my wife and she barely notices it, so don't let that keep you from giving this a try, it is just my personal experience and hyper sensitivity.

Yelp
Great little dive type bar. Excellent bartenders, live music, food is decent bar food. The food is basic and nothing special. You come here for the good music and drinks though. Pool table, and juke box available too.

Yelp
Nice friendly people, had chats with many. Burgers were great Great live music playing

Yelp
Live music, typical small bar menu. More of a locals bar feel than tourist despite great location.

Yelp
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! This is, by far, the worst establishment my husband and I have ever been to! From the rude bartenders/management, harassment by the drunk "locals" (definitely washed up, alcoholic, old crowd) terrible food (recent health violations), observations of over serving of clearly habitual addicted persons that are so intoxicated they harass other patrons through verbally aggressive behaviors, and just terrible staff/management; I will never go there again and highly recommend others do not support such an place. My husband and I were treated awful when we went there in hopes of enjoying the beach atmosphere! Most recently, my husband was verbally attacked by intoxicated patrons for supporting his football team. He was doing absolutely nothing other than wearing a jersey to warrant such an unprovoked attack. The staff did nothing and some staff, reporting to be the manager and was not, actually joined in the harassment and ordered him to leave. They actually called the police on him for no reason. The police apologized to my husband and confirmed the problems at this establishment. After reading many of the reviews since our experience, this is clearly a pattern! Again, we will never return. The management and owners of this business should be ashamed! Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Caddy's; a real restaurant and beach bar with wonderful staff and amazing food!

Yelp
Have been coming here for 35 years!! Always good!! Great place to dance and relax and have lots offun!!

Yelp
Food was great but the rude, ignorant bar tender ruined it. Horrible customer service, poor attitude and clearly should not work with the public.

Yelp
Exactly what you'd expect from a beachside tiki hut! Chill. Great local spot. Awesome music and waitstaff!

Yelp
Great bar food! There's not another place you can get a 3$ burger for most of the day. Their prices for drinks and food and unbeatable! Who would go across the street to Caddy's when you can get a better pour for half the price at Katiki?! Food is limited, but hey; it's tasty and well priced! Service is INCOMPARABLE!! Chris, Joel, Cindy and Lenny; are top notch bartenders! Gary is my favorite barback! Ambiance... Well, give me another place on St Pete beach, Treasure Island or Madeira Beach that ACTUALLY have a full on tiki bar?! This is the ONE AND ONLY! Only downfalll, style of music on holiday weekends or spring break, or large events. Who wants to hear Tom Jones? If they are there, they can't drink like younger people. I'm 47, and my partner is 62. We love the place but avoid music like today and def won't go tomorrow with the band that's hired. To each there own! My genera isn't anyone else's!
google avatar

Sterling D.

Yelp
We left caddy's after 1 drink & headed straight over to Ka'tikis Beach Bar. The music was bumping & the band was jamming! Great spot for a nice relaxing night out surrounded by great people & drinks. Our bartender Joel I believe it was had fast & on point with services! 10/10 beach bar on Treasure Island. It is a real Tiki Hut but being from Oklahoma this is exactly what I was looking for! Caddy's next door was 1/10 on service & drinks, BUT Ka Tiki's is a SOLID 10/10 on service & great priced drinks. Met the Manager I believe Kenny it was & got a Ka-Tiki's shirt! big recommendation if you're close by, don't even waste a drink at Caddy's & come straight here. The place was packed but the people are super friendly & great convos & people.

Yelp
Great bartenders - friendly atmosphere - can't beat the prices especially for being on the beach - amazing live music - 3$ cheeseburgers (incredible) - but the BLTs are a must.

Marcus H.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews and when I do it is often positive, but my recent experience at Ka Tiki today was an embarrassing experience that I would not wish upon anyone. I'm an African American, former Army officer and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. I have been a resident of St Pete Beach for nearly 5 years and serve on the board of Directors for the Treasure Island American Legion. I have never received one violation breaking the law and consider myself an honorable person of character and integrity. Today, I was escorted off the Ka Tiki premises by two police officers at the request of the bartender, Chris, because he said I caused a disruption at said place 2 months ago? Given that I had not been at the place this year having lived in Tampa I found this unbelievable. What disappoint me the most was this individual, Chris, served me three (3) drinks and two (2) orders of cheeseburgers without once discussing his concerns or allegations with me until the police arrived. I am not doubting he may have had a bad experience with another individual, but to assume it was me without giving me the benefit of the doubt is unforgivable. No one who is innocent should ever have to go through the embarrassment and humiliation I endured today.

Yelp
Pretty cool place to visit. I love that there's always live music. I hate that there's only 2 single stall restrooms. Cindy was my bartender and she makes a helluva drink. Her rum runners are my fave!! O, and there's a pool table. Locals and tourists alike are all here. The bar is steps away from the beach. Every time I visit, I meet a friendly face and have cool conversations. If your ever at Sunset Beach visit Ka'tiki!!!

Yelp
We are a group of 5 professional people between the ages of 52-62. Two of us are retired firefighters, one is an active fire chief, one an owner of a financial business and the last a software engineer. We are locals and have patronized this bar several times mostly due to the live music. Last night, at 8:30, we walked into this crowded bar and got a drink. One of us was dancing on the dance floor and 3 of us were standing on the edge of the dance floor watching with a speaker very close to our ears. A bald man in a black shirt with no markings indicating that he works there, ran up on us and started screaming something aggressively and throwing his arms around. We had just seen him with a beer in his hand so thought he was an aggressive drunk. We then figured out he was telling us to move over to open a pathway behind us. We moved in creating about a 3 foot path between us and the others standing there. I told him to calm down. My husband told him to go drink his beer. A minute later, a young man (bouncer) approached us and asked if we had a problem. We said no and the bouncer seemed ok with where we were standing and walked away. More people moved into the spot where we were just standing and nothing was said to them. Five minutes later, the bald man returned with a police officer and asked us to step outside. This bald man was now identifying himself to us as the owner. His behavior was loud and aggressive even in front of the 4 police officers that responded. The police took all of our driver's licenses and ran them. We were then told that we have been "trespassed" and can never go to Ka'Tiki again. The officer even apologized to us and said he could see what was going on but since it was private property, his hands were tied. Even the couple that wasn't involved with the discussion were trespassed. What an outrageous reaction to paying customers because we were standing in the wrong place. How about some ropes or signs to indicate this? How about employees wearing something so patrons know who they're talking to? How about a little respect when you approach patrons? How about your staff not drink on duty? There are so many other bars on the beach with live music where we can spend our money. We can't go back there but wouldn't now if we could. I highly recommend that anyone reading this steer clear of this place as well. That staff member was just looking for someone to fight. Getting the police involved was outrageous and a waste of resources. If you want to go to a fun dive bar with live music, go to the Drunken Clam. Stay far, far away from this establishment. Update: General manager reached out to me and, after reviewing videos of the event, acknowledged that his employee will be addressed and that this was an overreaction on the part of his staff member. He will reverse the trespass order and apologized.

Yelp
I visited the Ka'tiki for the first time on 3/6/23 and from the beginning my experience was not pleasant. I was greeted by a blonde bartender who rolled her eyes at me and gave me an attitude when I asked for a separate glass of ice with wine as I like to water my wine down to avoid getting too drunk as I drove. Next my friend and I ordered food. I ordered a fish sandwich and he order a chicken sandwich. My food came to the bar and I picked it up and ate my sandwich. My friends food never came out so we asked a man with light colored hair and facial hair if he could check on it. This was approximately 45 minutes later and the man came to us and said the female bartender never put his order through, so he did. Eventually, he got his chicken sandwich. Now here is the kicker...I parked my CRV in one the bar's spaces. I wasn't paying much attention to my car. I went inside the bar, played some pool, talked to some people, etc. I go outside and I am sitting at a table talking to some people from my hometown area. They mention a car was towed. I look over and there was a blue SUV parked in my spot. I didn't think anything of it, until I looked again. The bar had my car towed. I asked the man with the facial hair and light colored hair why he did that. He said he asked around to see if the owner was in the bar. Well he must not have asked much!!!! I drank at this place, ate their terrible beach food and was looking forward to hanging around and listening to the band and they tow my car to the cost of $165.00. Rating is one and I for one, a resident of St. Petersburg, will never return there. Big deal it's a bar across from the beach. There are many bars across from the beach a lot nicer. I know this rating isn't going to hurt their business in any way because of the location. I just had to share my experience. I hope yours will be better. Michele

Yelp
Great place , great prices , dive but fun. My friend , a lock , says the food is good. The drink prices are enough to go back !!

Yelp
The advertisements say this local bar welcomes everyone. when we walked in, we could not get service. the bar tenders ignored us. Also the staff's work attire is hateful and threatening. I would never go to this bar.

Yelp
Went for a band's birthday bash. We had a great time. Burgers and fries were great with a great price. Good drinks, dog friendly and good people. The music was awesome.

Yelp
Ka'Tiki - is a true local's beach bar and favorite since 1982! Been trying to visit this Bar for numerous of years on my annual family travel to Florida, Leave your worries behind when you enter this authentic thatch roof tiki bar! Once here you will find nothing but a laid back, all-are-welcome attitude from their friendly bartenders and staff. If you're not a local, you will sure feel like one before you leave. Ka'Tiki is the quintessential beach bar with a great bar menu of burgers, wings & apps plus a full liquor bar and the coldest beer on the beach. Also home of the $3 cheeseburger! The highlight here is always the live music - playing 7 days a week. Rock, reggae, acoustic - they have the BEST area musicians!

christina F.

Yelp
The view is pretty. Good bar for locals. I hear the music is good. Smoking everywhere. If you are not a smoker you will NOT want to come here. The waitress was sweet. I ordered a BLT. It's was $7.50 and excellent. I would think it would come with a side. Hubby ordered wings for $8. It came in a tiny boat. He said flavor was ok, but not worth the value. The bar menu was small and had typical fried bar food. It's dark in here even though right outside is a gorgeous sunny day. We don't think it will be back. The bloody Mary was very good and my husband's well great as well.

Stan G.

Yelp
In my opinion, this restaurant is the finest purveyor of food and sprits on the planet. I travel for business all the time. I stay in swanky hotels and eat in restaurants with no regard to cost or price. I have never enjoyed a meal and drinks as much as I did today at Ka'tiki.
google avatar

Ginger L.

Yelp
This is a 5 star, 1 star bar. Do you know what I mean? But Ginger!? You didn't give it 5 stars! Yes, correct. The reason I can't actually give it 5 stars is because there are a few inconveniences that keep me from throwing my heart to Ka'tiki. Let's get it out of the way fast. 1) The parking, or lack thereof 2) The smoking...I get it. I know it is part of it. I just think that in 2021 there could at least be more designated sections? Beyond that it's everything you love to hate and hate to love. Cheap drinks, live music, sandy feet, drunk locals. It's awesome.

Candy M.

Yelp
Music great. Service poor. I know it was holiday weekend. But we ordered first on our group. Their food came and went 30min before ours. Then our food was burnt, no flavor and less than a burger in the cheeseburger. No pork in pork sandwich. Lettuce, onion and pickle were good.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Loved this place! Dive bar with great live music! Cheap, good, filling food! Bartenders were very nice and wonderful and serving you quickly! You can smoke in there so if you don't like smoking it can be rough! But over all we loved it and will gladly go back!
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
A local suggested this place & we went three nights. Live music & dancing & seriously one of the best cheeseburgers I've had - for $3!! The servers are quick. We'll def be back! (I was traveling with my best friend, we're in our early 50s but don't act like it lol)
google avatar

Louie B.

Yelp
I love this place. I live locally and often have one of their burgers for lunch after a morning at the beach. It's not been crazy busy when I go so I have a different perspective on the parking and smoking. I think when I go around noon and during the week is a good time to really enjoy the place. The beach is right across the street. Amazing location.
google avatar

Katie E.

Yelp
Lovely local bar next to the beach. Vibes were good with live music during Sunday afternoon.
google avatar

Todd G.

Yelp
I only come here if its a really good band. Went last night and got completely smoked out. This place really attracts smoking addicts. I mean full blown chain smokers. I don't see a reason they cant make the inside nonsmoking and let the smokers go to the outside tables. For you smokers, whats going to happen if you stop smoking for an hour or two? Seizures? No, nothing will happen so why make it so hard for the rest of us to breathe. It completely inconsiderate of others. Drinks: They are small plastic cups, priced ok, but go to the ladies at the center bar and avoid the side bar. Food: Its all pretty bad, but if you are really hungry just get the $3 cheeseburger. The 2 stars are for the occasional good band.
google avatar

Geoffrey B.

Yelp
Great dive bar. Cheap drinks and good blues music. If you've been wondering where all the hippies went your search is over. Best BLT in St Pete and cheap bloody Mary's. Thing I don't like is they serve drinks in plastic cups.
google avatar

Dave A.

Yelp
Great place for drinks and live music. I loved my burger and the fries were excellent! Parking is always challenging at the beach. The drinks and the beer poured were on the small side in plastic cups. I felt welcome and the bartenders were friendly, even when the place was slammed for a Grateful Dead cover band.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
First time here.No table service. I understand. Staffing is tough these days. A greeting would have been nice. You know... just to say welcome, please come to the bar to order. I set at a table three feet from an empty bar for 10 minutes with three staff looking at me like I was stupid. Finally In passing was asked if I was "just waiting for the bus" and when I ordered a beer, the rude bartender said I'd rather you just wait for the bus. I get it. I'm not over 65 and stick out like a sore thumb on Sunday morning. But after coming here on a recommendation from a friend, I'm gonna throat punch my friend for suggesting this one.

Yelp
All you could ask for when it comes to a relaxing tiki bar in a very prime location on Sunset Beach. Enjoyed some nice drinks and walked right over to beach. The gulf views were absolutely stunning!!

Yelp
We live locally & wanted to try somewhere new. I read about this place & couldn't wait to check it out. As a Florida girl who grew up at the beach, I love visiting tiki bars & was well aware that it was mostly outside & a bit of a dive. We came to the beach across the street & wandered over when we got hungry. The first thing you notice is the wall of smoke that you hit coming close to the building. We actually sat outside under one of the other stand alone tiki tables to escape it a bit. However there was a table of older regulars (self declared retirees) near us who were all smoking cigs & passing a joint around. One was even on oxygen which made for a potentially explosive situation. We smiled, shook our heads but were excited to try the grub because we had heard some good things about the BLT & burger. Like some bars, you go in to the bar to order your food. They do have a great deal on the burger if you're eating in. The person with me ordered the highly tauted BLT & I ordered the burger. Neither came with a side which they should considering the price, even if just chips, so we ordered some tater tots. The food isn't brought to you so you have to wait for it to be brought back to the bar. Not knowing the timing of their kitchen, it means my guest spent most of the time standing at the bar & me at the table even though they weren't busy. Only a few people at the actual bar & the group outside. That part could be managed better by calling out the order name or basically any other way. But hey, it's a dive bar what do you expect? Bring on the cold drinks! The drinks were in tiny flimsy sippy cup sized plastic cups and were just baaaad. This isn't a good sign when you're mostly a bar. Then the food came. One look at my cheeseburger & our tater tots & we actually burst out laughing. My cheeseburger was literally two tiny slider patties on this normal sized bun likely grocery store cheap quality bun where the meat was only the middle. The patty also had a big hole in it. Perhaps from a finger? Who knows. I will say the lettuce and tomato were fresh in our dishes. The tater tots were burnt and cold like someone made a batch at some point then left them over on the side as an afterthought. The BLT was standard fare & not a stand out. For the price, it was really not worth it even with the burger eat in price. The rest of the place is standard dive bar with the dirty bathrooms & pool table. This place appears to be mostly a hang out for retiree regulars who want to smoke themselves to death which is fun but if you want to be a tiki bar that attracts the beach crowd that is feet from you, provide some service at all to customers. With the exception of the bartender who takes your order, there isn't any service at all & they don't care if you're there or not. This is apparent by the fact that this gorgeous & cool location is sitting almost empty during the summer in the middle of the day while the place across from them is packed. The whole attitude when we were there was that they don't care from the service or lack thereof to the drinks to the laughable food to the condition of the place. They probably won't care about this review but for those considering trying this tiki bar out, be forewarned.

Yelp
Horrible place , didn't even have the chance to go in. as I was parking the waiter comes running telling us we can't come in ! Racist much ! And as we were pulling away waiter and customers laughing and waiving goodbye ! Completely offended by this location. ! Would not recommended . Not friendly !

Yelp
I had an awful experience with bartender Lynee. First off when my brother comes to the bar she actually gives him a look as why you are here. The bartender Marie or Maria handed us the menu to order. When I go back up to order while folks keep coming in..has me wait for 10 min while new folks are coming tells me to go to the back of the line after I ask her do see I been waiting to order. Mind you we were the only Black folks in the place. I was ready to walk out but Marie took our order. One person Lynne could make the experience terrible.

Yelp
This is by far the best beach venue for live music between St Pete Beach and Madeira Beach. All the best locals perform here seven nights a week. If you want to check talent in these parts, this is the place you want to make your way to fast. It's a definitely older and probably wiser crowd than youd find at many other spots, and still it's a lot more local than what's on display across the street at Caddys, which has a better sunset view but nowhere near the best live tunes. The vibe is tiki bar and the stage is in your face. The bartenders are very efficient at getting your drinks and food even when it's packed which is typically most nights. There's a few signature foods such as a BLT and wings that are way better than what you'd expect at decidedly non tourist prices which again is not what you find across the street. They kindly write your tab total in big numbers so you can actually see it in the dark. Parking is very tight and if you can walk or bike here, you're a lot better off. Don't miss the Grateful Dead nights if you're into that. It's a real throwback. And there's few nights of blues and bluegrass that are also sublime.

Yelp
Molly gives it Five stars! She sites incredible attention to the needs of canines by the friendly efficient staff and for the now infamous "Molly Burger" . Just order the 3 Buck (no take out) "Burger in Paradise " . Molly likes hers sans the bun and cheese and very rare!

Yelp
The cool thing about this place is it doesn't try to be anything more than it is, a really laid back beach bar. The people seem to be a cross between local and tourist but all here to enjoy some live music and beach views with awesome sunsets. The drink menu is adequate. Standard bar food that is pretty good. Overall a place to have a drink under the tiki hut on the water. There does seem to an attitude of the staff that comes across like 'why are you here? We don't know you'. That could be just us but we have been here a couple of times and got the same feeling. We just ignore it and chill.

Yelp
Love this little bar with a big heart. Always a good time at Katiki that features live music all the time. The burgers are good and only $3 if you eat there. The BLT sandwich js my favorite though and the onion rings are amazing. It's an outside bar with cover and there are full outside seats too.

Yelp
Cute place with a lot of local color. Wanted to try the food but the cook hadn't showed up that morning. Got a nice vodka tonic and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Would try again

Yelp
Great spot on the beach across from Caddy's. Ice cold beer and great fried food menu - perfect for hangover mornings. You have to try the Pork Tenderloin!!

Yelp
Sweet little place. Ambiance is cool. Sit back and enjoy a cold one inside a tiki hut! steps from the beach, you can order your drinks and walk right over to the sand and ocean. We ordered a couple BLTs ( which was the whole reason we went) we heard they were awesome- and they were right! Awesome BLT! Very simple- but to the point. Will definitely go back next time I'm craving one. Bartenders were slammed but still took good care of us, the owner was nice and friendly as well. We'll be back to this jammin little spot!

Yelp
Five stars for the Monday night live Blues. Seriously, this is THE place for listening to incredible live Blues in all of Tampa Bay (and beyond) Only on Monday nights though. This Monday night "Blues Jam" featuring the Roadhouse rockers features a number of musicians, changing up and around, all in sync with the other musicians and the audience. Guitar, drums and bass. No more than those three. All, dare I say, perfectly mixed, so no one drowns out the other and matched even to the acoustics of playing out on the patio deck. Perhaps a minor detail to some, but a great effort is put into perfecting the sound check. Fantastic stuff. Some of the best I have heard in many years at some high profile venue$ around the country. Tuesday nights is 'anything goes' jams. Hit or miss there. Go on a Monday night and you'll be bringing your friends back the next week to here the awesome Blues jams. Mostly locals here; a friendly crowd and friendly bartenders with great drafts and drinks...all back for the good music and friends. The crowd is older - 30s to 60s. It's Florida, but no Blue hairs here. About a 50/50 ladies/guys mix. Some dancing to the music and plenty of good times. Parking can be a challenge, so be patient and be sure not to park just 'anywhere'. Very casual dress code. Cash only.

Yelp
Great dive beach bar setting, decent prices, good bands. Find a spot, settle in, and enjoy the sunset.

Yelp
Great venue for live music every night. A good local hangout. The beer selection matches more of that of a "dive" bar meaning not much of a selection unless you like Corona or Miller lite. But it's fun to go to for some live entertainment.
