"A small hotel with major amenities like three infinity pools, sun decks, a fine dining restaurant, and a spa, known for its plunge pool suite." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"A T+L mainstay, readers voted this elegant hotel as their favorite resort in Greece for 2023, Katikies Santorini is, after all, one of the island’s luxury hospitality pioneers. Situated in Oia, the 34-room hotel’s guests can avail themselves of experiences such as a private cruise in a sleek 52-foot Riva Rivale motor yacht to unassuming Thirassia islet." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Located right on the cliff edge in Oia, this is one of the island's best hotels. Two split-level suites are in the 18th-century former home of a noble family: the façade is painted its original pale ochre and the interiors are decorated with antiques and Orthodox icons displayed on pale-blue walls. The other 25 rooms and suites, with similar interiors, sea views, and patios, have bright white exteriors and look like a jumble of sugar cubes tumbling down the cliff. More than 200 steps connect the rooms, swimming pools—including a beautiful infinity pool—and public areas, and the small rooftop terrace restaurant serves delicious, fresh seafood. The nearest beach is a five-minute free transfer away, although it's probably quicker to walk in the summer when the narrow roads are clogged with coaches. —Timothy O'Grady" - Lauren Burvill
"Every hotel in Santorini plays a part when it comes to the island’s picturesque panorama of whitewashed houses and turquoise water, but this spot in the town of Oia stands out for its first class views of the caldera, and chic minimal design. In each room, you’ll find arched ceilings and verandas—perfect for lazy afternoons spent reading in the sun—and beds are fitted with crisp, fine cotton sheets. Start the day with a swim in one of the hotel’s three infinity pools before retreating to the bar for a lunchtime cocktail, or the spa for pampering. Later, make your way to dinner at the candlelit Anthós by walking down winding steps carved into the cliffside. Order dishes like the langoustine tartare or sea bass served with fennel, and choose from an extensive wine list that spotlights local Santorini wineries."
"Though the island of Santorini can often feel crowded with tourists, Katikies has created the perfect oasis away from it all. The luxury resort has just a few dozen rooms, each decked out in white and Aegean blue, making it a private sanctuary where guests can feel right at home. Its three glittering infinity pools blend seamlessly into the waters below, offering views straight to the horizon, interrupted only by a few craggy islets and an occasional meandering sailboat. Guests at Katikies Santorini will never go hungry or thirsty either, as the hotel is home to several fine dining options and the Champagne Bar by Fleur de Miraval." - Travel + Leisure Editors
