Google
Popped in for a slice and asked if they had a grandma they gave me this weird corner that had heavy tomato and no noticeable garlic or basil. I got a regular slice too, the regular slice was par at best, sauce not outstanding but still better than the tomato breadstick shaped like a square they sold me claiming to be a grandma. These guys need a field trip to little Italy pizza shop on church and chambers to learn what a real grandma slice is

I’ve been coming here from the first day I moved into the Bronx! Good pizza good food! Trying new dishes we find the food is delicious. This past Sunday I ordered a Meatlovers Pizza which I have before but this pizza won the Gold Medal! My guests loved the pizza it was AMAZING! I give it at 10+10 Keep up the great recipes! Linda

Google
I order Stromboli & cheese steak sub. They put American cheese on both. The sub had NO cheese inside with slices of American cheese laid on top. They even put American cheese in the Stromboli. I live too far away to return it, but never again.

Google
I ordered the chicken burger. It was not ground chicken meat made into a patty and grilled, it was a very hard, dry, flavorless chicken breast on a stale bun. Now I know!

Lorraine Altamura

Google
It’s just a neighborhood pizzeria… It has four tables that are comfortable to sit at. The variety of pizzas are fabulous. I come here for their red sauce! Taste like my Nonna’s. Pasta, meatballs & chicken dishes are very good too!!!

Google
I ordered meat Stromboli and I requested only sausage, bacon, and pepperoni but instead they gave me ham and American cheese but wasn’t the worst part the bread was super uncooked… I thought at first it was mozzarella cheese but when I ripped it a apart it wasn’t. I also ordered sausage on a hero and I called before I place the order and asked if they put sauce on the sandwich and they said no they put it on the side and I said great cause I didn’t want it but guess what they added the sauce on it and gave bread that hard enough to crack a tooth. when I got my food the container and receipt had tomatoes stains all over it and wasn’t packed probably like how the he’ll wouldn’t you seal my order so that the customers would feel safe about eating it. For all I know it could’ve been tampered with especially when food Wanda up outside of the packaging. Lastly the only thing that looked good was the zeppolis but I didn’t eat them because I simply didn’t trust the order after everything stated above. I was so upset because I was so hungry and had to settle for a canned soup 😢

Google
Taco pizza!!!! Is super 🔥. They don’t have little slices either ,you will get your money worth.

Google
Second time my pie sits on the ovens. Nothing called out. Unless you're assertive, you'll be waiting an extra five ten minutes. I simply hate arrogance when it comes to customer service. You see someone waiting for a bit please take initiative. I hate giving a lousy review, because we all have bad days, but Saturday's staff wasn't up to standard.

Yelp
The best chicken parm and baked ziti I've had in a long time!! Service was great and prompt and all the guests enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a beautiful young lady. She took my order and within 2 minutes my pizza was ready. I ordered two slices thinking one would not be enough. However, the slices are so big. One would have been plenty. The chicken ranch slice tasted scrumptious. I will definitely be back for another lunch. The chicken ranch slice tasted scrumptious. I will definitely be back for another lunch.

Yelp
I went into Katonah Pizza to order something to eat. What I wanted to eat wasn't on the menu. Instead of telling me that didn't have it, they went above and beyond to make it for me. When I got home to eat it, looked absolutely amazing and the taste was even better.

Yelp
Visiting the area for the weekend, we discovered Katonah from fellow Yelpers, figuring they had a good rep we decided to try them ourselves. Walking in, we ordered slices to-go including: Buffalo Chicken, Red Pepper Mozzarella (thick crust), Broccoli & Ricotta I also ordered a cannoli to go-and when he asked if I wanted it in the bag or to eat as I walked (because the pregnancy belly) I honestly couldn't decide because it looked so good. Joking around with me about desserts first, he threw in a free tiramisu to add to the dessert joy. With such nice service I really wanted to like the place & had high hopes for eating our pizza. The slices were huge, and had the classic NY thin crust. Overall, they were unfortunately underwhelming. The buffalo barely had a buffalo taste to it-instead tasting mostly like merely breaded chicken & cheese. The red pepper mozzarella needed a lot more cheese because the thick crust overtook the quality of the pie, and the broccoli & ricotta was well under-seasoned. We found ourselves exploring our spice cabinet at home to self-spruce up the slices. The cannoli & tiramisu had a 'twang' to them, for lack of a better word- I can't pinpoint it, but while the cannoli had a really great shell (half coated in chocolate, flaky, crispy yumness) the sweet cream had an almost cherry or amaretto-esque flavor that wasn't your traditional cannoli cream- so it didn't hit the spot. Would try other spots in the area next time.

Yelp
Did a fine job on my special order pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. They don't disappoint!

Yelp
I brough a slice of pizza today to go. Was terrible ,the pizza was old and felt like eating old leather, was very difficult to chew, this place just continues to be poor. I gave this place another chance, even a pizza slice they managed to screw up.

T M.

Yelp
My bacon tomato slice was burnt and there was barely any bacon on it, the chicken in my chicken broccoli rabe roll was very burnt and I couldn't eat it. The pizza in my order before that was like shoe leather and my jaw is still sore from trying to chew it. I'm done.

Yelp
Was down visiting old friends and relatives (my niece and her husband) in Yonkers where I grew up. There are numerous places to get good pizza, the vast majority of which are small, family-run joints. I definitely have my favorites, she and her husband's choices don't jive with mine some of the time. This was one of those occasions. She ordered a plain cheese pie (extra sauce), some boneless buffalo wings and a personal-size pie with crumbled sausage. All I can say is that the food was just ok. Nothing special, nothing to write home about. Why on earth would anyone need to order extra sauce on a pizza is beyond my comprehension. The dough was a little chewy, and the sauce was a little sweeter than I like. I guess it was partly a matter of convenience in that they deliver, and are nearby. As my best friend, Pots & Pans, and I always say, "Laura and Art don't know their pizza, and they don't know their wings."

Yelp
Excellent local Italian restaurant serving Woodlawn Heights (Bronx) and Southeast Yonkers! Katonah PIzza & Pasta is the #1 choice that my girlfriend and I can agree on whenever I am with her in her home - it's been her #1 choice for most of her life growing up in southeast Yonkers and it has become my #1 choice ever since we've been dating for a few years as of writing. In this review, I have not yet dined physically at the restaurant and have always ordered takeaway through third-party delivery companies. It is worth noting that on GrubHub/Seamless, the restaurant uses their own drivers to deliver those orders while other third-party delivery services use the respective service's drivers to deliver. I've had more of Katonah's pasta than the pizza, but they keep me coming back this way. The first time I had ordered from them was in mid-2020 when I was in the mood for Spaghetti Bolognese, but I would never be able to find a place with a flavourful meat sauce like that elsewhere in the world - Katonah delivered on the missing elements that separates bland Italian restaurants in the U.S. to those that truly care about their food. With that, I began growing more curious and, the following week, I was amazed yet again with a helping of Fettuccine Alfredo. After trying their Carbonara, I was basically under the impression that they could not make a bad pasta dish and I still am not wrong to this day. Because I cannot make any remarks about the physical restaurant itself, I can only speak of the delivery service, preferably by their drivers, and I am pleased to say that the food does travel well and often arrives on-time (even during this past big game day Sunday!) Be sure to tip their drivers well when they can deliver to you. I will, one day, try their food at their restaurant as soon as it is prepared, maybe I will be blown away further than ever before! In the Northeast, there is a battle for which region, state, city/municipality, neighbourhood, family, etc. has the best Italian cuisine second-to-none. My girlfriend says this is, by far, the best out of all that deliver or are located around her home and I can, by far, say that I'm in agreement with her 100% on this. Since I'm considering moving into the neighbourhood, finding a go-to Italian restaurant is a strong step in the northeastern U.S. to making a new area feel like home - it's an odd cultural thing and you'd have to be here to make sense of it all.

Yelp
Pizza is usually excellent. Fast delivery. Decent desserts. Good price point. I think the best NY style pizza in the neighborhood ( Woodlawn ). Recommend Pizza with Crumbled Sausage Plain Cheese Spinach and Prosciutto . I asked for this. Pepperoni

Yelp
I just started to somewhat transition into a pescatarian diet and but I was tired of the usual fish and shrimp. I was craving shrimp Parm for the whole week so decided to get it from here. I'm happy i did! It was so flavorful and filling. I cannot wait to go back for more! I called ahead of time so that I didn't have to wait. I also knew that parking in that area is difficult so I just wanted to run in and out. I recommend this place! I've also had their salad which were good! They never disappoint me!

Yelp
There should be a rule that any of these Yelp "Elite" morons be forced to stay out of local eateries. Talk about useless reviews that actually end up damaging quality storefronts. How do you measure an elite anyway? Did someone confirm that they have superior taste buds or a privileged olfactory sense? These little food snobs destroy small businesses with their elitist palates and need to remain in their trendy pompous neighborhoods. Welcome to the Bronx where you can still get a full meal for 5 bucks. And that's what a huge slice costs at this quaint pizza joint. Look at the picture I posted below and see how difficult it is to fold to eat LOL. I found this place by accident on a long walk one day (I love to explore new neighborhoods on my weekly five mile walks through the boros), and now I go back on a regular basis. I even love to take cold slices home and reheat them the next day and they taste just great. Someone actually implied that they're sacrificing flavor with inferior ingredients. Not my experience. I measure food not only by the way it tastes but by the way it sits in my stomach, and I have a very sensitive stomach. And this food sits wonderfully :-). What I find fascinating really is their crust--I'm a Chicago/New York boy and I measure my pizza against both standards. A New York pizza has to be thin and crispy whereas a Chicago pizza has to be flaky and have almost a buttery texture from the olive oil. Somehow these guys have achieved both. Fantastic crust. And if you really want to test out of pizza crust then you have to reheat it on a second (or as I will do for breakfast today, a third day) and see if it holds up. And this one does. There was also a crack by some elitist about the portions. That's the one thing this place definitely does well. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I couldn't believe the sheer volume of food they gave me. And finally, regarding the attitude of people that work here. Regardless of what language they speak, I've seen them to be courteous to everybody, of every ethnicity, every time. And if you're not from the Bronx, and you don't have a little thicker skin like the rest of us, then go back to your pansy ass little Manhattan enclave where everybody pretends to be courteous and kind - because these people are definitely both. Don't come all the way up here to the Bronx just to have an exquisite piece of pizza, we don't need your blessing--but if you happen to be in the neighborhood it's a really good meal. Close your elitist mouths and just chew.

Yelp
I was skeptical to order here at first but I had one of the best grilled ham & cheeses in my life haha and it was delivered. I'm impressed. Also, their chicken bacon lettuce on garlic here is really good. Can't comment on service and ambiance, however I will be ordering from here again.

Yelp
The food quality has gone straight downhill while the prices have risen too sharply (inflation or not). And we had been customers for over 30 years. Plus the owners are disrespectful, rude. Will never set foot in the place again.

Mickey D.

Yelp
Absolutely do no recommend this place, staff are so fucking rude it's unbelievable, the cooks scream and argue with customers, they don't use basic manners like please and thank you, I went in on Saturday last and was left standing there without being greeted or asking what I wanted and then some guy comes in behind me and starts to order (not his fault he didn't know) the two young dumbass kids just stood there looking at me, I was just like is it self service do I make my own pizza? Then to top it off the pizza was terrible and bland, will never go here ever again and it's a shame because I'm a neighborhood guy and I work in the neighborhood and will be telling anyone who will listen not to go to this dump. I would recommend Angelo's on McLean ave for friendly service and actual good food.

Yelp
This is on of my favorite places to order on Seamless! They have great boneless chicken and fries that I usually always order. Today I decided to order something extra and chose the garlic knots. The garlic knots were alright but the buffalo chicken bites were amazing as usually. I can never eat the whole meal in one sitting but that's good for me because left overs are yummy! -quick delivery -delivery drivers are friendly.
google avatar

Maeve C.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by it's slice-slinging appearance; this place is really outstanding in terms of its various topping offerings, low prices, quick delivery, and homemade warm bread that accompanies nearly every order. I often get their salads and am always pleased by the size of the "small," which is more than generous. Their entrees are very good as well, from chicken piccata to lasagna to the heroes. In particular I would recommend the grilled shrimp salad, the meatballs, the vegetable stromboli, the baked ziti, and the chicken marsala.

Donna B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years. They always had excellent food and better pizza. Always friendly, I've never had a issue. I used to get pizza on Morris Park just because I wasn't close to Woodlawn and now it's all garbage. Katonah Pizza is the last good pizza spot in the Bronx.

Yelp
Very nice business, I like the way they run it, when I'm in the area I always go check them, the pizza is very good, I always order the same but even the other pizzas looks good.

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood and used to frequent this spot, as they have large, reasonably priced slices. It was never fantastic pizza, but it was okay for the price. I went in craving a fresh Sicilian slice and was rudely informed by the gentlemen behind the counter( I'm using the term loosely) that what you see behind the counter is what they have. My first instinct was to leave immediately, however, I like to patronize local businesses and I was famished. I arrived home to find two flavorless, hard slices that appeared to be shall I say "less then fresh". I will not be back, you would think that after a Pandemic they would step up their game with the food and service. The stale food and poor service left a bad taste in my mouth. I take my business to Casa Mia where the service is good and the food is fresh going forward.

Yelp
The ingredients used by the owner and staff here are superior to other pizza shops in the borough. The prices are equal to what other pizza shops are charging, except at Katonah Pizza you are getting much better quality. The meat and cheese calzone is one of my favorite items, the flavor of the meat is beautiful; well seasoned beef, the cheese is delicious, but where this pizza shop really shines is their dough. Made fresh every day, it has a slightly sweet flavor and is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Another superb item to try is the chicken, bacon and ranch pie OMG! Absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly, and the owner himself is super nice. Try them, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
First time in New York...I'm a Cali girl and let me say this is the best pizza I've ever had!!! As I'm on my way home I'm craving this pizza and no other pizza I eat will ever compare.

Sandra G.

Yelp
Amazing food, wonderful service and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place not only for the amazing special slices but for the pastas, chicken dinners, and wings! Definitely one of my top favorites!

Kelly M.

Yelp
Ordered the highly recommended chicken vodka slice- huge slice, but taste was okay. Ordered it through uber and took a hour and half to get delivered, so it was cold.. which could contribute. Really enjoyed the pepperoni roll, until I bit into it and found a piece of plastic in it.
google avatar

Kristen P.

Yelp
Ordered via Seamless at 8:35pm. It's currently 10:02pm and my food still isn't here. I live maybe 3 blocks away and I ordered 2 slices and a piece of tiramisu. Going to request a refund. Update: 10:16pm arrival. Pizza is cold.

Yelp
Driving through Woodlawn sec. in the Bronx I came upon this pizza parlor that was open very late! I ordered a pie and we took at home it was delicious! Very nice customer service as well from the owner!

Yelp
Didn't expect it but, Katonah Pizza & Pasta was actually epic. Love the atmosphere! And staff is always friendly. Every thing I had was outstanding. Katonah Pizza & Pasta is a must go, wonderful spot I am so glad to have found.

Yelp
This is our local pizzeria and love everything on the menu. Delivery Is good sometimes it's take a while but that's what happens when you have good pizza

Yelp
Been ordering from here for a decade. Consistently great food & service. Also makes the best Baked Ziti in NYC.

Yelp
Excellent service!! The delivery was spot on with time and the food was hot on arrival. Everything was Delicious. 10/10 would order again

Yelp
Katonah is "hit or miss" when I order delivery from grubhub. Sometimes I get a perfect pizza, and sometimes its just ok. One example of this is when about a month ago I ordered a small chicken parm pizza and it was amazing- The chicken was like actual thin chicken cutlets cut up with mozzarella cheese and sauce covering it. It looked like a chicken parm on your pizza. The cheese would ooze when you picked up a slice and I thought it was so good that I ordered one last night when I was craving pizza. Last night the pizza I had received tasted like they ran out of sauce. The chicken they put on my pizza were like cubes that you would find on a buffalo chicken slice. There was barely any sauce other than what was under the cheese. They also forgot to include sauce with our garlic knots. I also wish that they included an option for garlic knots on their grubhub menu. They have knots in the store for less than 2 dollars but when you order on grubhub you have to order the garlic bread for about 3.00 and in comments you include "Knots instead please." Having said that, I order from Katonah all the time, and I will continue to order from them until another pizza place that is better appears on Grubhub. The pizza is a "hit" rather than a "miss" more often than not- but consistency is probably Katonah's only issue.

Erika G.

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places. I love coming here with my son. Super friendly & fast service. There's a bus stop right in front of the business so that's a little tricky sometime. But, metered parking is available and I always find parking !

Peter N.

Yelp
I usually go here when I am back in town visiting my family. This place has gone down hill. The sauce is watery with no flavor. chicken parm was as thin as could be with mozzarella cheese that was horrible taste. You can tell they have gone cheap with their ingredients and quantity. i asked even for extra sauce not knowing it was horrible to start with and they still served the pasta almost dry. Big waste of my money for $18.00. do you self a favor and go somewhere else or cook your own
google avatar

Yelp
I found out about this place after a friend had me try some of the penne alla vodka, at a party I was at. I became HOOKED! I couldn't think about anything else for 3 days, except for how tasty that penne was. It was waaaaay too rich and creamy and I couldn't stop eating it. I could tell it was high quality too. Constantly thinking about that dish, made me drive 30 mins to the place. I ordered a few slices, a couple of desserts and of course, the penne alla vodka. As expected, the food was delightful but, what I did not expect was how amazing the desserts were. I'm usually not a fan of tiramisu, however, theirs will make you feel like you've reached Nirvana. And their MUDPIE!!! ... I want to MARRY IT and live the rest of my days with it!!! Definitely 5 stars in my book!!!

Julzz G.

Yelp
Consistently awesome and authentic pizza. I've found myself eating out more than planned because of the quality of the food here.
google avatar

Alan C.

Yelp
My wife eats gluten free and this place has consistently been good in doing gf pizza at a fair price and good taste. Haven't had a bad reaction at all so they're good about the preparation.

K M.

Yelp
Good pizza overall but if you order thin crust extra crispy becomes best pizza in area.
google avatar

Aoife M.

Yelp
I've been eating here weekly for well over 20 years, and never left disappointed. No matter what you order from katonah pizza pasta, it's going to be good. Meat and cheese calzones are mouthwatering , specialty pizzas are crazy chicken marsala pizza, there are no words. So much to choose from, You won't be dissapointed.

Kara M.

Yelp
This is by far the best Italian take out in the area- food comes hot and fast and sooo good!!!
google avatar

Erica H.

Yelp
These guys are grade A -gentlemen, serving delicious pizza with class! We are regulars, in this house! The saaauuccee *drools* i like the slices better than the whole pies and their penne a la vodka is crack!
google avatar

Food L.

Yelp
Very decent pizza, maybe the best in Woodlawn Heights. Slice prices are high, but for the most part they have more and better toppings than the others around. They're often open late and the folks working here are nice and friendly. The grilled chicken wrap was healthy and filling, while the penne vodka portion was huge but a little bland. A recent chicken parm platter was tough and tasteless-- would mostly stick with the pizza.

Chris P.

Yelp
This is the best pizza in the neighborhood and there's about 5-6 pizza spots in a 3 mile radius. The slices here are huge and really tasty. Staff is great and it's family owned. I love the great variety of slices and foods!
google avatar

Ashlee S.

Yelp
I usually order Katonah every week. However i feel as if they don't read their orders throughly- whenever I specify instructions on an item they just completely ignore it (I specify every time, so this isn't a single occurance) Wish the workers/owner would actually care about the orders they send out.
google avatar

Loren P.

Yelp
Great pizza we got delivery recently and I it not only got here before the estimate time but it was also well prepared and delicious or perhaps we were just hungry !

Dee A.

Yelp
Received a overcooked, hard to chew, inedible pizza. Called to let the shop know and they sent a fresh pie. Needless to say we all had to wait about 2 hours for dinner. I had a very grumpy and hungry toddler on my hand. They need to do quality control before sending food out. Definitely a risk ordering delivery from here and quite a bit of a wait.

Carl M.

Yelp
Best pizza place in the neighborhood. Lots of options to choose from display always filled.
google avatar

Gingere L.

Yelp
Pizza arrived with the free tiramisu in the same heat-trapping delivering box, while our calamari was no where to be found. I called the store after we ate our pizza. They offered $10 discount to our next order. The next morning when my husband ate the last piece of pizza he found a piece of plastic in his pizza. Never again will we order from katonah pizza.
