First the reason to come. The food is really good. Drinks were awesome and the staff were personable and having fun. Second is the reason to come back. When i saw “someone” paid for the little old lady’s meal, i knew this is a place with good people. Definitely deserves this 5

Steak Quesadilla with beans was great. Cooked well served hot. Margarita just right Waitress was pleasant and helpful. If I could change one thing the music was loud and sounded techno all songs ran together, too loud for my PTSD.

My husband and I went here for the first time today and we really liked the food. It was tasty and the portions were a good size. We had Beef Nachos and the Tamales. They came out quickly and was hot. We went for dinner and it wasn’t crowded. We found out they have karaoke on Saturday. The atmosphere is casual and the service was good. We’d go back again for a quick meal.

I just went and had the best food I’ve had in months while visiting Savannah. I ordered something customized and they made it to perfect! Will definitely be coming back, and the service was amazing! Thank you for making my food the way i wanted it and thank you for having such delicious steak! 😋

This is the Best Mexican Food in Savannah Hands Down! Iv tried many Mexican Restaurants around here hoping to find for that Authentic Flavor i had back home,and this is the only place! Our Waitress was very friendly and helpful by the name of Patricia I think. Didn't wait long for our food! We went around 5pm on a Saturday. Ordered the Molcajete Texas Style and came with Rice and Beans and Corn tortillas. My wife had Tacos de carne asada and Nopal. The carne asada was marinated and was very Flavorful!....(Hard to find good carne asada when most restaurants use day old meat and try to reheat but this place doesn't)...The Nopal was very good too! My food was very delicious! Only Recommendation I have is I wish they use Fresh Corn 🌽 Tortillas and have several enchilada dishes to choose from. As of right now i only saw i option...Other than that it was very good and we will be back!

The food here was horrible 😫 It had no seasoning whatsoever!!!! My sister recommended this place because her and my niece had been here before. Utterly disgusting. The picture that I shared is the table FULL OF FOOD that we LEFT BEHIND!!! We paid for our entire meal. The manager asked if something was wrong when I returned to take a picture of the food, as he was on his personal phone. I told him what our concern was. Not once did he attempt to compensate us because we didn't eat anything. It was disgusting. Between the two of us we spent almost $90, and didn't enjoy nor eat any of it. You can see our check on the table. We went to Jalapeños Authentic Mexican Grill the next day, it was delicious. That night after going to Katrina's and still being hungry we ended up eating Papa John's 🙃 Empanadas (beef and chicken), street corn, tacos, and chips and salsa are what's seen in the picture. I just want to say, our waiter was great, no complaints with him🤗

We liked it. The people were great and everyone enjoyed their food. Enchiladas, nachos, and I had the ceviche, which was shrimp and pretty good

Their prices are ridiculous for their sizes. They also don't have a clue what their menu says. I ordered a large, 8oz guacamole dip. The price of an 8oz guacamole dip is $8.99. They were out of their 8oz cups so they put it in a 3oz cup & charged me $5 for 3oz. Comparison photos at the bottom.... on the left is their 3oz cup & on the right is a 15 oz store bought guacamole dip. I know I am but one customer but they won't get my business again!

Excellent food... Fresh and delicious... Staff was very courteous and kind very very friendly. The ginger salad was especially good and the staff was very friendly... I highly highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere in Katrina's has turned into a playground. Children seem to be running the place. They are loud, running around, talking about customers, and do not show any professionalism. We have loved eating there for years, but recently the atmosphere has not been enjoyable.

I usually come here for lunch about once a week either with a friend or by myself. It's really cool because they know what I'm going to order once I walk in. I always get a bud light and chips and their fresh guac. I haven't been able to find another place with really good tasting guacamole like this place. I really enjoy coming here.

Quaint Mexican joint. A great reprieve from chain restaurants and fast food, especially if you're staying at the nearby hotel and need some grub! They went heavy on fresh cilantro and through in salsa and fresh cut lime without me asking, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. If they upped the cut of the steak, I would leave them another star, maybe even dos! Overall, it hit the spot!

If you like dog food. You will love this place. Got the carne asada. For $20. Meat was gray looked like it came from the dollar store. No skirt steak no melted cheese. Unedible I'm from Chicago visiting. And it has nothing to do with Mexican food whatsoever I can't believe all the reviews. I dare you to go in there and get the carne asada

Subpar at best. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and it was empty. I was greeted right away and able to pick my seating. I ordered the veggie fajitas and a small cheese dip (it was pretty good). Once I ordered, I received complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was okay (a little watery and bland). My food arrived and I appreciated the cauliflower added to the veggie mixture. Unfortunately, nothing was seasoned, so i asked for hot sauce d and jalapeños. They charged me extra for both. The hot sauce was house made and wasn't spicy at all and the bowl of jalapeños was actually cut up bell peppers. I was really disappointed.

Came in for lunch, most of the lunch specials are $14. I got a chicken burrito supreme. While the ingredients were fresh, the chicken was probably the driest that I've ever had. I won't return and I don't recommend.

Had the Steak Fajita Taco Salad for lunch and dinner while staying at the Holiday Inn Express. The food came out quickly and hot, really hot...I had to let it cool. The servings were generous, I'm on keto so no chips or taco bowl and I was still full. Did have some gristle on the fajita meat during my lunch meal, but dinner was fine. The place is casual and service is good. Not as crowded for dinner as lunch. I could see this as a dinner spot for a cheap date. The booths are intimate enough and the interior is very nicely decorated. They have mojitos, margaritas, beer and wine. They have a happy hour for alcoholic beverages.

I am definitely on the fence with this place, I ended up ordering the rice bowl that was not on a list of best things to eat. I don't know if it was the cheese or the rice or what, but I could not finish it. However, the service was really great and the prices are not bad, maybe I will get this place another try.

Excellent Guacamole, We also ordered Tamales and a gringo fajita mix of chicken shrimp, and pork, onions and mushrooms with a semi-spicey white cheese sauce. I have wanted Tamales since I watched a cooking show. I had a cold Dos Equis with a lime and jarritos Mandarin flavored soda. A cool cheesecake inside a fried shell was delicious. It was nice to find an authentic Mexican restaurant with great food, fast service, and razonable prices.

Nice little Mexican restaurant within walking distance of the Holiday Inn. We appreciated the vegetarian options and had a delicious veggie fajita. The margaritas were also very good. Friendly service.

Nondescript Tex-mex in a sleepy strip mall, right off of I-16. No ambiance at all. However - terrific food, awesome service, reasonable prices. And fast. For road-weary travelers needing a quick bite - this is an easy stop you won't regret.

I was on this side of town for business and this place was a fantastic surprise. The service was polite and very fast. The food was all around better than my expectations. The plantains were crispy and perfectly sweet. The tamales tastes fresh and had amazing texture. The salsa for the chips had a great flavor as did the Mexican rice. I love the art hanging inside and throughout, it is a great aesthetic. Next time I am in this area for lunch I will surely comeback by.

Alejandra was courteous and fast. Always had a smile on her face. The empanadas were fabulous. The watermelon margarita was fabulous. I got a large one. The salsa with the chips had a good flavor. It had just the right amount of heat. I was looking forward to a mojito, but one of the male employees said that they were out of mint. I would definitely go back. I would not eat the complimentary chips and salsa again because I couldn't finish the empanadas I ate so much!

This place is wonderful! Everything is top notch. My new favorite place for Mexican food. Great variety and all tacos are AMAZING!!!

Drinks and food were amazing. Definitely coming back. Didn't even taste like Tex-Mex but authentic Mexican food.

Give them a try if you're nearby... First two reviews were positive so I had to try them out.. The Guac was fresh, salsa had a good ratio of flavor/heat/consistency. Got the steak street tacos on the corn tortilla and they were point, especially if you dab some of the green sauce that comes on the side with it. Great service and fast kitchen as well.

For starters, very nice waitress and very attentive. I give cleanliness a fair rating. The chips were a bit stale. And the meat was over cooked and very dry. On the plus side, shrimp cocktail was great but those round chips on the side were barely edible. The margaritas were good. Rice and beans were ok.

Placed an order online. Tried the Chipotle Salmon Tacos (salmon was moist), Steak n Chicken Monster Burrito (too much rice), Chicken Flautas (chicken was moist) and the Chimicheesecake (the best thing in the whole order). Food wasn't bad, just no seasoning or spiciness and apparently they don't offer salsa either. Wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Very delicious! The plantains were so good! Staff was very friendly. I was greeted right away and the server made some great suggestions that included the potato empanada.

We stopped in for a quick dinner and the food was pretty good. Better than expected. We had the beef empanadas which were pretty big as well as flavorful and juicy. I had the steak street tacos and my bf had the fish street tacos and they were cooked really well. The steak wasn't dry and the fish was grilled well. With only one waiter servicing the whole restaurant service was good and he moved quickly. The ambiance was pretty regular nothing to boast about just a nice little restaurant.

We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express. It was recommended by the hotel staff. Oh my goodness, excellent food and super generous portions. Prices are cheap-steak, shrimp and chicken were tender and perfect. Loved the complimentary salsa and chips. We highly recommend this non chain gem! Server staff efficient and friendly. A WIN for sure.

Delicious food with generous portions. I really enjoyed my Katrina's Torta and my wife loved her Katrina's Big Bowl. The staff was really friendly and delightful (especialmente si habla español). I'm excited to visit again soon!

OMG stayed at the Holida Inn Savanna Ga, walked over to Katrina's Restaurant and Decided to try the Mexican food this was THE BEST MEXiCAN restaurant I have ever eaten. Fun place, excellent drinks, superb service. All 5 stars!!!!!

Ordered takeout and it was ready within 15minutes. The food was fresh and the staff was excellent upon my arrival. I will definitely return.

We had an excellent family meal here, with delicious food and wonderful, friendly service. We were all thrilled with our food, and had a great dining experience. Seriously good food! Exceptional staff- very friendly. We had the taco salad, enchiladas, chimichangas and avocado tacos. All were delicious. Reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Savannah.
