Denver’s 17 Essential Ramen Shops | Eater Denver

"Aurora’s traditional Katsu Ramen — sister restaurant to Sushi Katsu –- serves a chilled ramen with slices of omelet and barbecued pork in a creamy sesame-ponzu sauce, along with a curry ramen made heartier with chunks of chicken and pork. Try the ramen and rice bowl combo with soup, three-piece gyoza, and a variety of bowls including fried rice and beef curry." - Gigi Sukin

Google
The most authentic Japanese food I’ve had in the Denver area. I would definitely suggest trying everything eventually but more more specifically the onigiri. Very reasonable price-wise as well.

Jonathan Murray

Google
Absolutely delicious ramen. I'm a big fan of Miso Ramen and I have to say this very easily took the top spot on my ramen restaurant list. Best bowl of ramen ever, and they serve the perfect amount as well! My wife loved her Tonkotsu Ramen as well. The service was great, and the waiters were friendly and helpful. Next time we are in Denver we are definitely going to stop by again

Jeny Smith

Google
Delicious dinner! I had the black garlic ramen and we shared a couple appetizers. You can see them making the potstickers. We were happy to get in when we did as it was a big dinner rush around 645 7 o’clock. It’s a sweet interior atmosphere but the parking lot is not great.

Joseph Pratt

Google
The best thing to eat was the ramen. It was fantastic. Didn't love the Katsu chicken or the rice ball but at the end of the day, those were just sides anyway. The main event, the ramen, was awesome. My business associate spent the rest of the week talking about it.

Bailey Eva

Google
This food can make a terrible day infinitely better. The broth is food for the soul- I keep telling myself I’ll order something else next time I come but the black garlic tonkotsu is too hard to resist. Portions are generous, I always take some home and the happy hour 2 for 1 beer is always a treat. Service is fast and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Liv R

Google
Fantastic! It’s a treat to find a place that has mouthwatering food and great service. Food was served quickly. We started with two onigiri - and I would have been happy if we did a full meal of the onigiri options. Better than any others I’ve had before. The gyoza is the ideal texture. The ramen has balanced flavors, and the team was kind enough to put my chili spice on the side so I could add to my liking. The noodles are thinner, which I prefer. Small details that made me smile include the staff being conscious of the sun and adjusting the shades without anyone asking, and the Japanese live tv playing. Parking can be challenging, as there are several businesses that share this lot. Plan for a bit of a wait on weekends. Can’t wait to come back!

Jaden Thompson

Google
We’ve visited many ramen shops, but this one stood out with its great atmosphere and some of the best ramen and gyoza we’ve had. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. If it weren’t six hours away, we’d be back in a heartbeat.

Eric N

Google
If you are comparing to other ramen place this place is okay. The flavor is okay but the gyoza was awful. The meat texture was way too smooshy definitely wasn’t appetizing same as the karaage. I would recommend other ramen places but overall this place is okay if you are looking to eat something similar to Japanese.

Yelp
Katsu Ramen is an excellent Japanese casual eatery with no frills but the food is delicious and you get bang for your buck! We started off with two onigiri - Salmon with garlic soy butter and Miso butter. They are seasoned generously with furikake and the protein is minced inside so it is easily missed. They are good onigiri and definitely filling. Next up was the Black Garlic tonkatsu. The garlic flavor is strong with a ton of noodles and decent sized pork belly pieces. The egg is not soft boiled at all, it is a full on hard boiled soy egg. I appreciated that there was a Naruto slice as that is my favorite additional to ramen. The Pork Katsu Don is GIANT with a hefty portion of Katsu and rice. My husband and I shared all these dishes and we had at least 2 leftover lunch portions. I generally prefer the regular katsu with a crispy exterior but this was very good. I also appreciate that you get refills on the hot green tea :)

Yelp
Katsu Ramen is legit! We started off with the grilled salmon/ garlic butter soy sauce onigiri, which was warm and flavorful. My husband and I both got the garlic tonkatsu ramen. I loved the richness and density of the soup, the texture of long and thin ramen noodles and how it came with a pat of chili paste on the side of the bowl to spice it up. Despite the large portions, we both pushed past the fullness to eat every last bite. The gyoza were a bit greasy. Our kids love gyoza and for some reason they didn't really touch the ones from here. Oh well. The kids meals are reasonable. We got the beef bowl for our older child and ended up with leftovers. We will definitely be coming back for the onigiri and ramen!

Yelp
Came in at 5:30ish on a Sunday night - very busy but we were still seated quickly (table for 2)! You order from a paper and the servers respond to buttons on the table but they always check on you even if the button isn't blinking which is nice. Ordered: Salmon and garlic soy butter onigiri: 5/5 so yummy! Would order again Black garlic ramen: 4.25/5 I wish there was more black garlic flavor but over all very yummy. Also wish the egg was medium boiled instead of hard boiled Katsu curry w/ chicken: 3.75/5 curry was on the sweeter side which isn't my favorite, but the added ginger was nice, Katsu chicken was solid and there was beef in the curry too! Will 100% return to try other onigiris and ramen!!

Yelp
On this chilly spring day I was craving ramen! Had the tonkotsu and onigiri and the hubs had the pork katsu- all was delicious and served quickly! Fast friendly service and nice ambiance- not too fancy, not too casual-Colorado perfect
google avatar

Yelp
Located inside a strip mall, but the moment i step inside it transported me to a cool Japanese eatery. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the black garlic tonkatsu ramen. Broth made the ramen! I liked the sweet fermented ginger in it, it counter balanced the umami broth. I wished the egg was medium boiled rather than hard boiled. $16. Will be back to try their different broths.

Yelp
Damn gooood! My girl, a friend and I went here from the airport and we were starving. We just yelped this place and first one that popped off when you search soups lol. The ambiance was buzzling and full of color. I never been to Osaka Japan but it does reminded me of that from movies. The customer service was outstanding and cannot say more. I really enjoyed my eating experience here because the food were wow!!! So good.. I didn't expect Colorado to have an awesome ramen place like this :) I ordered their shoyu ramen, which is a soy sauce based soup with pork strips and egg ramen. The ingredients were fresh as you can get and really hearty in a cold weather like this. The most exciting part of our food trip are their onigiris.. I think those bad boys stole the show.. it was sooo gooood! The rice and meat mixture inside it with dashes of furikake powder was just excellent :) Overall, best place to get ramen in Colorado in my opinion.. definitely passing by this place again whenever I can :) PS: Almost forgot their Japanese Curry plate... yo try it! It's definitely a must!!!

Yelp
We stopped by on a weekday night and it was very lively. They said the wait was going to be 30 min but only ended up being about 15 minutes. They have a bell at each table to get service and the waitstaff was super quick about taking our orders and getting the food out. I ended up getting the curry ramen. I like the broth - it was very flavorful and still super light. I always love a good soft-boiled egg and this one was really good. My only complaint would be that the texture of the noodles seemed a bit off and were pretty thin.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Rice bowls were fair. The ramen lunch combos are very good. I arrived after the 4pm deadline for lunch. So I tried the rice bowls. The curry was tastier than the beef bowl. I may try other bowls, but prefer the ramen lunch combos. Onigiri was good but a little pricey. Service was average. 3-4 for flavor. 3 for price.
google avatar

Marissa R.

Yelp
Delicious and quick! We had a 15 minute wait and it went by quick. We had the gyoza to start which were crispy and yummy! We had miso soup and my husband ordered the chicken katsu. We tried a few of the onigiri - the shrimp one, BBQ, salmon and garlic butter and I had the #9 - don't remember the name. Each one had a unique flavor, a good umami flavor. I wish there was more shrimp in the shrimp one. They were difficult and messy to eat, but definitely worth it. The service was great and so quick! I really enjoyed it and it's right around the corner from our house. We'll be back

Yelp
Went here for lunch with some friends a couple weeks ago! And I loved the vibes of the whole place, lots of anime decor like One Piece and Naruto all over and it definitely made you feel like you had stepped foot in Japan! I really liked their ordering system where you just write down what you want on the ordering sheet and press a button to let the waiters know you're ready to order- very convenient! I had a tonkotsu ramen and some onigiri. While the ramen was pretty good I did notice that the chashu was 80% fat and 20% meat which I wasn't a huge fan of. Flavor wise though it was pretty okay for the price- not too salty and I loved the sweet chili paste they put on the side. However, the noodles were a bit thin for my liking and they didn't have the nice chew that I love from a good bowl of ramen. And while the onigiri looked very appetizing I found it to be too salty as they rolled it around in seasoning. The seaweed had also gotten a bit soggy and so it was hard to bite through without making a mess of everything. They also didn't add a whole lot of filling in there but for around 5 dollars per onigiri it wasn't bad as they are pretty big! Overall, it's a decent establishment but if I come back I'd definitely try the katsu curry instead as that looked absolutely divine!

Yelp
Great little ramen spot. Always busy but we've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a table. Super friendly staff, lots of menu options. Our favorites are the Spicy Chicken Ramen, Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and the little rice cakes. If you are hungry add pork belly and gyoza.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Great place for Japanese curry katsu and everything priced so fairly compared to peers in this region It has an authentic vibe and my favorite was the curry katsu because the katsu was tender and the curry was flavorful with a surprising taste of citrus (I guess it's from the marinated Japanese plums) Service was kind and it was worth noting that food was served so fast! Suited us well since my group was hungry : ) Would definitely come back to this place. Wish they had more locations in Denver!

Yelp
I've lived in Denver for almost 2 years now and today was my first time trying katsu curry in the area. I've heard great things about Katsu ramen and was in aurora with my friend, so we both decided to give it a try. We figured we had to get one Katsu and one ramen to try their namesakes. The pork Katsu curry came out super quick after we ordered, which was impressive at first but became less impressive when the first bite of Katsu lacked any crunch from the breading and was lukewarm. The curry texture was a bit gritty and quite sweet. The tonkotsu ramen came out a few minutes later. The noodle texture was probably the best part about it, but the broth was also oddly sweet. Hard boiled egg + meat also had the same sweetness to it that we did not expect. Prices were inexpensive and service was friendly, but the food just really didn't cut it for me.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was great, especially the gyoza. Service was fast and efficient. Would love to come back and try more stuff!

Yelp
I have been on the hunt for stellar ramen in Denver for a while and I can report that Katsu Ramen is not it. The service was great, and they turn tables quickly but the food left me hunting for better. The Ramen isn't bad, but just kind of middle of the road Meh. (Insert a shrug here). The onigiri were pretty yummy, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for them. The gyoza were good but it is fairly easy to get decent gyoza in Denver. So again not worth a special trip. The spicy chicken ramen was better than the Tonkatsu, it definitely had more flavor but it wasn't mind blowingly good. Or even good enough for me to want to finish it. I base most of my Ramen reviews on a ramen shops Tonkatsu. If you make a good tonkatsu, you make a good ramen and theirs felt like the broth was rushed. It didn't give me that silky rich velvet feeling that you get when you take the first sip of broth from a good ramen broth. If you are in the area looking for ramen I would say skip Katsu. But please comment if you have a better rec.

Yelp
While visiting my friend in Aurora she wanted to take me to one of her favorite local restaurants which is how I found myself at Katsu Ramen one Sunday evening. We were seated with no problem when we walked in but it was a packed house inside while we were there. You order by making your selections on a paper menu and then when you need service or any additional items you use the buttons at the table and someone is there to help you in like 10 seconds. I wasn't super hungry so I went with the BBQ Beef onigri rice balls and an order of the Japanese style fried chicken. My friend went with one of the ramen bowls (not sure which one) but it was delicious! Based on the other bowls I saw coming out I don't think you could go wrong with any choice. Would definitely recommend! As an added bonus, there's a delicious bakery right next door that you absolutely MUST check out!
google avatar

Donna Y.

Yelp
Tonkotsu Ramen Katsu - the broth was rich but had a top layer of oil that I didn't enjoy as much. Otherwise very good pork belly, perfectly cooked boiled egg, tender bean sprouts. Curry Tonkotsu Rice Bowl - the Tonkotsu was breaded nicely but the sauce affected the crispness. Beef Rice Bowl - very good! Salmon with Garlic Soy Butter onigiri - so-so, falling apart as was eating it- but very good I came during happy hour so we got two Kirin at BOGO. The service was quick- they have a push button at the table so it'll alert the team if you're in need for service.

Yelp
Our friend took us here and we loved it! We are already planning what to get for the next time we come! There are so many yummy options. The gyudon bowl was delicious! I love the pickled ginger on top too! Adds a nice freshness to it! My boyfriend ate all of his tonkotsu ramen! All of it! It was delicious, and fairly cheap!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was so good, especially the onigiris! Love them so much. It was crowded when we got there but the food still came fast. Really enjoyed the decorations inside the restaurant! Definitely worth visiting!!!!
google avatar

Carlos H.

Yelp
I haven't been much of a ramen eater over the last few years, but this place blew me away. The Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen was simply superb. Delicious down to every last bite. I also loved the rice balls...soo good. The miso beef inside was excellent and it made me miss Japan a bit. The prices were fair. I would really recommend visiting this place. I want to try the curry one day if I ever make it back here. My friend's ramen broth was delicious. The inside is very quaint and feels like a little shop you would find in Japan as well. The staff was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Sehjal A.

Yelp
Had the most delicious ramen here. Both the pork shoyu and the black garlic tonkatsu were amazing - would recommend either. The service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was lively and busy on a Saturday night.
google avatar

Katie A.

Yelp
Great service! And fast! Efficient ordering and service! Portion sizes are great! Ramen had tons of noodles and my son couldn't finish. Poke bowls were tasty and perfect size! Inside atmosphere is fun and had good music on while we were there. Definitely recommend checking out.
google avatar

Josh M.

Yelp
This place went above my expectations. I really enjoyed the quick service and hospitality. I ordered the katsu don (usually I'll go for the ramen). It was great. I also ordered a rice ball (onigiri) to start. The potions are accurate to the price and well worth it. This place is always busy as well so I recommend coming at an off time (I came at 2:30 pm). Lastly, the decorations of Naruto on the wall was a pretty cool addition as well.
google avatar

Michelle Nam Phuong L.

Yelp
Katsu Ramen is amazing! I love the ambiance and it has an extensive menu, from ramen to Japanese curry! They got it all. Service was great, it has plenty of seating but you might looking into a wait if they are busy! Starting off our meal right, we ordered the Chicken Karaage, and it had a very balanced amount of seasoning and crispiness. They don't skimp either, the chicken pieces were a decent size. I ended up trying their Tonkotsu Ramen. It is a pork-bone broth as its base. It is a hearty broth. I have to say it's not the best I have had but it is definitely in the top 5. I just really love broths that have a very strong meaty flavor to it but this one was slightly overpowered by its seasoning.
google avatar

Heidi B.

Yelp
I love this place! I was lured by the menu, seeing that they serve onigiri (rice balls). Their beef curry is perfect! Thick chunks and a gorgeous, consistent flavor. I like the pickled wasabi and konbu onigiri, very delicious! The servers could be a little more friendly and attentive, but are overall hard workers and quick to serve. The decor is a bit kitschy. The food definitely makes up for it!
google avatar

Richard J.

Yelp
Onigiri overall was okay for the price. Each one was a little too dry but the toppings were good. Katsu curry was good but a little on the sweeter side. Good with a little bit of pickles and the rice was a lot better Black Garlic Tonkotsu was the best, not too heavy, flavorful, spicy, great noodle texture, and good ratio of soup, meat, and noodles
google avatar

Kelsey T.

Yelp
We always drive by this place but have never gone inside because it always has a line coming our the door! Well, this time we finally were not too hangry and decided to put our names on the list despite the line outside the door and somehow we were shown to a table less than 10 minutes later! The wait goes by quickly guys! We were the most excited for the onigiri offerings here but they were unfortunately a little on the dry side despite the amazing variety of toppings they offer. I probably won't order 5 pieces of onigiri the next time we come. My favorites from this dinner were actually the Japanese Fried Chicken and the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. The ramen was especially nice on a cold night and I usually don't really care for eating ramen at a restaurant since the experience is usually underwhelming, but I enjoyed the flavor of this ramen! I also enjoyed how super crispy the Japanese Fried Chicken was! The chicken was tasty with a simple side of salt and white pepper mix. The service was also very quick and nice! We're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more ramen!
google avatar

Carmen Z.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. This last time I didn't order ramen but got to explore more of the menu. I do like the ramen here. It's not the best I've had but it's decently flavored. I am a bit sad that the egg isn't soft boiled and more of a medium/hard boiled consistency. I like that it comes with some chili paste on the side that I can add in if I like. It's also a really big portion so you share between two if you're not that hungry. I've gotten the Tonkatsu Black Garlic and I would get it again. This time, I ordered the Salmon with Salmon with Garlic Soy Butter Onigiri and Tempura Shrimp Onigiri. It's not bad but felt like it was lacking a bit of flavor. We had also ordered some Japanese Chicken Karaage so I took some of the spicy mayo from there to add flavor. I think the Chicken Karaage is really good. Super crispy, decent size, and flavorful. I would definitely order that one again. I also got the tofu salad which was okay too. It was soft tofu and it was flavorful but it had too much ginger for me but I'm not really a fan of ginger. I wish the menu had descriptions of what was in the dishes so that I can tell them to remove things I didn't like. I like the service here. They're pretty fast and they have devices that you can press so you can call them over.
google avatar

Ayla B.

Yelp
Katsu Ramen was a great experience. I enjoyed the lunch special which consists of a ramen of your choice, a side rice bowl of your choice, and gyoza for $20! You get so much for a great price and I definitely had leftovers! I tried the black garlic tonkotsu ramen and the beef bowl which I also enjoyed! I added some corn to my tonkotsu for the extra zing! I particularly liked the pork in the ramen. I felt it was cooked to perfection with juicy, fatty bits to make it feel extra rich and melty. The service is quick and to the point. When I asked what already came in the ramen, my server pointed to a small photo on the menu which didn't quite clear it up. So, for those wondering... it has chashu pork, green onions, pickled radish, and boiled egg! I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Joanna C.

Yelp
I like this place and most likely will go back. I went super hungry on a week night during prime dinner time and was concerned about waiting a long time for food. The tables have buttons to call your server over when you're ready. Theres a button for almost everything (refill, boxes, ready to order, etc). I wish i took a picture. This definitely made service very quick and everything very smooth. 5/5 for service and efficiency. The onigiri was decent, it wad pretty flavorful, my only critique is that the rich was on the mushier side and I personally don't like mushy rice. Both ramens were very flavorful, without being aggressively salty. The egg was not soft boiled which I was bummed about, but the flavor of it was good! The noodles are the curly bouncy noodles that you are expecting when you picture ramen. They're straight noodles :( but the consistency of them are good. The overall feel of the restaurant makes me think I am dining in Japan because of the efficiency. I would come back again if I wanted ramen. They also have a good ramen and rice bowl combo!
google avatar

Nitu B.

Yelp
Just FYI- the Yelp check in offering is only valid M-F 11am-5pm (50% off beer, wine, or sake) which didn't make any sense to me because they offer that anyways?!? Food is amazing and super affordable! Service was great and they brought it out pretty fast. I had the Spicy Chicken Ramen, it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be but also, my threshold for spicy food is pretty high. Will definitely go back again! Tip- try to go there during off hours because this place gets busy pretty fast
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
This place has the best ramen in Denver area! We ordered a few of Onigiri. The bbq beef, spam teriyaki and salmon with garlic soy butter. They were all delicious but my favorite was the spam teriyaki. I ordered the Shoyu ramen and my friend ordered the tonkatsu. Again both were delicious. Finally we had the strawberry cold sake. I don't usually like sake because it's so strong but this tastes so good! The service was excellent! The only slight negative is that we were sitting by the windows and there was a cold draft. But the food and service was excellent!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Was travelling from CA and just got out of the airport and craved some ramen. Luckily, my group and I found this place and wasn't disappointed at all. Good portioned food with lots of flavor. On top of that, we loved the lunch combo they served and the onigiri was delicious. We would love to come again the next time we're in town!
google avatar

Parker E.

Yelp
I love this joint. Staff is great, food is always good. I normally get the black garlic ramen, gyoza, and fried chicken. The place has a great vibe and the noodles are bomb.
google avatar

Claudia A.

Yelp
Great spot! We really enjoyed the Shoyu Raman (add extra beef) & the spicy chicken add extra Chashu (pork belly) The gyoza are a most too! You also can leave without trying a bbq Onigiri
google avatar

Sam C.

Yelp
In my opinion, the best ramen in the Denver area. It reminded me of some of the ramen shops I've frequented in the Bay Area and this one is up there with those. Got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and the Katsu Curry with Pork. Both of these main entrees were amazing. The tonkotsu has that rich and savory broth that I had been missing from the other ramen places in the Denver area. The Noodles and charsiu were cooked perfectly and everything went well together. I think the charsiu could use a little more marinading but still very good. The curry was a little sweeter than I would have liked but still really good. The Pork Cutlet was fried to perfect and kept that crunch even after sitting in the curry. Side Note: definitely try the onigri's Katsu Ramen has become one of our go to spots now and can't wait to comeback to try other items on the menu.
google avatar

Jenessa H.

Yelp
My new favourite ramen place! The service was really great and speedy. The black garlic ramen was really, really good and I'm excited to try the rest. I've had ramen in Denver that was either way too salty or not flavourful enough and this ramen was neither. We also got the onigiri, and we will definitely swing by often to get those to go. The spicy tuna was our favourite. The katsu curry was decent and satisfied a craving, but the ramen is definitely the way to go.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Onigiriiiiii! ^_^ I love a good onigiri, and that's what this place excels at. Based on the name, maybe I should have tried the katsu, but I'm not generally a fan. I did try the ramen, black garlic ramen, which was flavorful and huge, but didn't have great noodles. Their noodles were thin and very soft, almost reminds me of a soba noodle over a ramen noodle. Anyway, back to the onigiri. Come for the onigiri!!
google avatar

Gabie C.

Yelp
Quick services was perfect before we headed to the airport nearby! I personally didn't try the ramen which is what they are known for, so that's the reason for the missing star. However, I did have the amazing delicious onigiri (rice balls)! I recommend the Kimichi and the Spicy Tuna!! Family left full and happy before the plane ride home :)
google avatar

Catherine M.

Yelp
Black garlic pork belly Ramen is the best ever!! flavors are unbelievable...I love this place
google avatar

Theresa A.

Yelp
Food here was absolutely delicious! I got a beef onigiri, fried chicken and black garlic ramen that were amazing! The service was also super quick! I think my friend and I only waited about 7 mins for all of food to come out. Also it was very affordable. I live in west Denver but I this place was worth the trek.
google avatar

Dan L.

Yelp
So unfortunately I don't have any photos of the delicious food we had. We were too excited and just dove right in! But I had the spicy chicken ramen and it was delicious! The broth, the egg was cooked perfectly! All the flavors added together to make something special! Lexi had the salmon poke which was also very tasty and we will be coming here again for both of these things! The service was attentive and the whole place had a great vibe overall! Highly recommend if you love ramen and need a mid week pick me up or a date night! Dan & Lexi

Dana A.

Yelp
Food taste good, it was pretty busy today. Almost an hour waiting for some gyoza and 2 ramens after 35 mins the server say they were busy but lots of people ordered after me were eating and we keep waiting. If the place is full just avoid it.
google avatar

Alice Z.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch and tried the miso beef onigiri, black garlic tonkatsu and pork katsu curry. The ramen was decent but I was blown away by the curry and onigiri - which very very flavorful and I think more unique for the denver area. Definitely hit the spot for my Japanese craving!
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Best ramen I have had in my life. The black garlic tonkatsu!! We have gone with a group and everyone was impressed with each different ramen ordered! We make a 45 minute drive just to come to this Ramen place

CJ Z.

Yelp
Their ramen is authentic and delicious! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a nice hot bowl of noodles!
google avatar

Tonya S.

Yelp
Great traditional Japanese ramen. I got the black garlic Tonkatsu and my husband got the ramen (Tonkotsu), fried rice and gyoza combo. We will be back and I'd recommend stopping in for a bowl.

Maxine S.

Yelp
I loved the oniguri, they were several different types of rice balls. The overall vibe is really aesthetic, and the service was quick!
google avatar

Vicky L.

Yelp
When you need your ramen, curry and onigiri fix, Katsu is the spot!! Firstly the interior is really cool, love the decorations (if you're a one piece or fundamentalist fan, you'll appreciate it. My fiancé got the Shoyu Ramen and I got the Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth and Cha Shu was delicious! I wish that the tonkatsu ramen had come with thick wavy noodles (my noodle of preference) but the thin noodles still were very flavorful. The curry was beef based. Loved that it came with beef bits, potato and carrots. We devoured this so fast lol. The onigiri also were very flavorful!! Worth trying!! I'd come back again for sure :)
google avatar

Xian C.

Yelp
Hands down, this is the best ramen spot in Denver! I got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu and oh my! The broth is so flavorful that I would be happy just having it by itself. You definitely will not be disappointed getting this here. I have also tried their teriyaki spam onigiri and as I took a bite, I wished I ordered more. Their onigiris come out warm, are generously filled and beautifully seasoned. I would highly recommend trying one! The vibes here are chill and there are plenty of seating inside. It does get very busy but it is worth the wait!
