Service and food is amazing. They give you options with the size of the pork cutlet. Unlimited rice, cabbage and miso soup. The pork is perfectly cooked. Price is also very affordable.

Delicious food at a good value, especially because you get all of the cabbage, rice, and miso soup that you can handle. The tonkatsu was crispy and tasty. High quality and highly recommended.

Yelp
The best pork katsu I've ever had! All you can eat miso, rice, & cabbage slaw (+ dressing was heavenly). Good service and clean restaurant. Baseline English friendly.

Yelp
To start the restaurant was easy to locate. The interior is was cozy and clean. The menu is very simple (a bunch of cutlet options and some drinks). However, don't let that deter you. All the options are equally tasty!
Now onto the most important part. The food.
Crispy fried pork? Crispy fried chicken? Crispy fried potato croquettes? All delicious! Everything was fried to perfection!
It was served with unlimited rice, cabbage, and miso soup. All of which tasted great and was frequently refilled by the friendly staff.
Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say it's priced very competitively. You won't break the bank going here and you'll leave full!
Overall, I'd recommend this spot if you're looking to quick and filling meal in Kyoto.

Yelp
You think pork cutlet is a pretty good Japanese dish and you've had it a number of times. We'll you'll never want to have it again unless it's at this place once you try theirs!

Yelp
Katsu Katsu Ton Ton is my favorite place to go for tonkatsu in Kyoto. It's conveniently located, the interior is nice, and they have some pretty great tonkatsu!
I usually get the 80g pork option. The outside is super crispy and the inside is moist and delicious. I recommend trying the pork or the chicken cutlet. The croquettes taste pretty good too, and they're a good option for vegetarian diners.
Each meal comes with free refills on rice, miso soup, and cabbage, so I always leave full. Meals start at a very reasonable ¥750.

Yelp
The location doesn't exist and attempts to locate were futile. If someone knows of the new location or where exactly, please assist!

Yelp
A legit and conveniently-located spot with an English menu..should you be in the need.

Yelp
Absolutely tasty. Not too far from the northeastern corner of the Kyoto Imperial Park. They were very polite to us despite our difficulty with the language and it was the only place on our trip we had been to so far that didn't have an English menu. This was totally fine of course.

Yelp
Great local Katsu place that serves some amazing pork and chicken Katsu along with croquettes. We had the pumpkin croquette combo with pork katsu and large portion of chicken katsu. The Katsu is freshly made for every order. It's very crunchy but not oily. There are free refills on rice, cabbage and the amazing miso soup. They have English menus now and instructions on how to use the table sauces. You also get free tea and water. The service is very nice and the prices are good (we paid ¥2200 for two people).

Yelp
Delicious Japanese comfort food. There is an English menu here with set courses and lots of options for meat and sizes.

Yelp
Our lunch here was great. The tonkatsu comes with the usual unlimited rice, miso soup and cabbage. They have different sizes of pork as well as sets with deep fried prawns and croquettes. Very friendly service and an english menu. Very local

Yelp
Really great food, friendly staff, and a chill vibe. Highly recommend going here for pork katsu rather than one of the places near nishiki - cheaper and more of a locals' spot! My pork katsu, miso soup, pickles, rice, tea, and cabbage salad were all delicious. English menu for non speakers.
