"Katsuya, a sushi restaurant from master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, is announced to close in March. It will be replaced by a high-limit gaming lounge, featuring new walls, ceiling features, and gaming machines. The construction budget is estimated at $800,000. Katsuya is still accepting reservations through May." - Bradley Martin

Staff very helpful with our group booking, mindful we needed to leave at 6.45pm so food was served quickly and check ready. Bill includes 20% service charge. Chicken karage was slightly salty though, rest of food we ordered was good.

Seafood here was very fresh and delicious. The fish were cut pretty thick for the sashimi platter, which was good. Plus they use fresh wasabi rather than powdered. A bit expensive but not terribly so. Service was good the waiter was very knowledgeable on seafood and Sake.

I had the seafood noodle bowl as well as a tuna roll that I shared with a friend. The food was fresh and tasted great. I finished up with the bread pudding for dessert which was also really good aside from what I assume was some sort of brittle on top of the ice cream. It just seemed out of place. Otherwise, it was a great experience. It was a bit pricier than I was expecting but it's Vegas so...

Happy Hour food deals are just best! We had I believe all rolls and then some off the Happy Hour specials and everything was just yummy! AND inexpensive!

The brussel sprouts are amazing!! Have been here 5 times over 2 Vegas trips, and the food is always phenomenal. Have had hit or miss service, but overall I love Katsuya.

Great sushi, but be prepared to pay for the quality. The bluefin tuna was great!

Great sushi, great service (when your server is available). It's one of those hip places where the decor is modern and the music is just loud enough that its difficult to have a conversation, but some prefer that so whatever. The quality of the food was outstanding (and that's why I went, so 4 starts very well earned).

Great service, fish, and presentation, what else do you want in a sushi place really? Lots of interesting unusual stuff on the menu but I stuck with the sashimi and was not disappointed. Will almost definitely go back to try some of the less traditional dishes too.
