Katy Mills is a great place to hang out and chill with family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You can shop, walk around, watch a movie, and discover lots of different brands all in one place. There’s plenty of free parking around, which is super convenient. I’m not always sure about the discounts, but there are many outlet-style stores so it’s fun to browse and explore. Just be ready for it to get really packed during holidays, especially Black Friday. Overall, a fun and lively spot to spend a few hours!

Visited Katy,Texas recently. Have had the opportunity to visit many malls, but Katy Mills was the most unique, one level mall we’ve ever encountered. First, it’s a climate controlled indoor shopping mall with a “racetrack design” that has a walking track that goes through the shopping and dining areas. We were then surprised to encounter Rainforest Café, Outdoor World and a Slick City Action Park. Has upscale stores like Steve Madden, Coach, Banana Republic, even a Bass Pro Shop and a Police Department Substation, 172 stores. The atmosphere felt safe, clean and friendly. If you ever have the chance to visit Katy with its many beautiful shopping venues, this is the one you’ll want to experience.

I love this place, so much fun and varied. I recommend it. Lots of shops with a variety of tastes and fun all in one place. It has two game rooms and a movie theater, too. It's perfect for having fun all day or buying gifts at great prices, as the stores always have great discounts.

Good selection of brands. a good mix of affordability and convenience. You do have to search hard if you really need to find a great deal specially at Ross and similar shops. I was a bit disappointed about the lack of halal food options throughout the mall. I wish there was at least 1-2 outlets serving halal food.

I always go to this place, it's very beautiful and big, but on Halloween they asked my children and me to take off our masks, so we had to leave the place, I found it strange because we go there every Halloween.

Overall the mall is extremely huge! They layout is organized to where it's not a bunch of stores just placed inside one building. They have a wide range from Polo to the Cheesecake Factory! There area surrounding the mall is safe as well with a good amount of security. I'd definitely come back. Good experience overall

what a great place to bring the kids on a weekend of fun!!! I love the food selection and the stores are laid out! I highly recommend anyone with children to come and check out Katy Mills. It's very welcoming and be energy is super friendly! I love the chocolate shop by the front door ! So yummy yummy!!!

There is a large variety of stores at this mall. You can just about find anything you are looking for. I will say that some of the prices are not all that great. A lot stuff isn't on "sale". All of the employees I have encountered have been friendly and helpful. One of my complaints now that I am a mom is that the baby changing tables are right next to the loud hand dryers... like about a foot away. They scared my daughter! And I imagine they scare a lot of other little ones too.

A great outlet mall, the only indoor one around town, perfect for rainy days! I love the wide variety of stores and businesses, and having the AMC Theater there is a plus! From my experience, business employees are courteous and know the products/services well. Service is good! The selection of goods and services covers a wide range and price points. Of course, parking area is excellent!

In my "old age" I have grown to not like malls much, they're usually over crowded, expensive and a pain with parking. I visited Katy Mills to kill some time. I LOVED that they had a Marshall's in the mall. Marshalls/TJMAXX stores are more my style than the expensive ones like JCrew and whatnot. I was able to find stuff for everyone in my family here. Aside from Marshall's, I only went into Buckle (I have been carrying a $100 Buckle gift card with me for years and never find anything... at this location, I was never greeted or talked to by any employee so needless to say, I left empty handed). There are a TON of stores, many of which are outlet/factory stores, too many to name. I came in an entrance by Rainforest Cafe and was intrigued. I have never seen one in person and I t looked quite interesting. Menu seemed a bit lacking. Needless to say, I was only at Katy Mills for maybe 50 minutes. Not nearly enough to really explore. I'd love to come back and check it out when I have more time.

I've been working at the mall for 2-3 years here's everything I have to say as of 2024. The mall is just your regular local mall, it has one floor, and walking distance is about 1 mile so this isn't really a big mall at all. It does have a variety of stores but nothing too big such as macys, target, or Dillard's. It also does not have a smoothie king anymore and does not have a coffee or donut place. It does have a playground for kids, a movie theater, and carousel. The food court is very small and only has about 8 places to eat and I wanna say 4 of those are the same bento boxes/ Chinese places. It does contain other restaurants such as rain forest, Cheesecake Factory, and others but are not near the food court. Cleanliness is not good, I've seen literal dog poop on the floor, people leaving trash anywhere they can, the trash cans are filled to the top many times, and don't even start on the bathrooms that have literal pee on the floor (yes even the women's bathroom). Sometimes the entrances smell awful, not just from people smoking (which I can get over) but mostly from the trash that's left there. Thought it does look like they've been getting better at cleaning the past few months. The parking lot also has plenty of trash and many many holes, almost every entrance has big holes right in the middle of it. Ouch. Safety has also been getting better since there has been less fight and I've noticed more police. If you're also up with the news you've heard everything that has happened here, and around the surrounding area. Saying all of this, I would not recommend this as a tourist spot, maybe just a one time thing to explore. But if you want a good mall go to the ones near downtown (galleria, memorial), there's much to do there. This is more of your local mall you'd go to if it's near you. Nothing too fancy.

Loved the diversity of stores. They have both low end and high end. Customer service was up to par at the stores I visited. Something for everyone

Most of the staples of every mall are here, but in outlet form. Nike Store is a hit! If you've never been, go! Great for kid's shoes!!!

Clean and well kept. Has a lot of stores I like. Food court was small but sufficient. There's a rainforest cafe and Cheesecake Factory too.

Cajun Seafood establishment in the food court is very slick first they tell me I can get veggies and two meats for $10.99 but charge me that price for one meat we will not go back cause one server quote one price then the other quote another price I felt cheated so NOPE....not again.

Found a lot of good deals! Nike, puma, Ralph Lauren Polo, guess just to name a few store I been to. The pink is garbage like they did not have anything no T-shirts no leggings weird.

Katy Mills Mall was billed as a discount outlet mall, but it has always been quite expensive. Other than Staples like Books-A-Million, expect to pay a lot for everything. Sometimes there's a good sale, but unless you're a serious shopper willing to spend hours on such a hunt, it's not really worth it. While generic fast food is in the food court, there is some pretty good food. We have come here to lunch alone several times. The vendors in the middle are extremely aggressive and refuse to take no for an answer. They alone are enough to make me avoid this mall.

Since it if tax free weekend and we were near the mall, we thought we would take a chance and see if there was anything interesting. We found a couple things that were a decent price. It was pretty busy with last minute back to school shopping but the lines went fast. It was nice to go to an inside mall with a selection of stores where I could touch the material to see if I liked it instead of hoping it was ok after buying online. And the staff was nice even though they had to be tired. I would come to this mall again if I were in the area.

I had high expectations as I've always seen the huge sign driving by. Super dirty, trash outside. Not worth the stop. Cheap mall with budget stores at expensive prices. Massage people are super creepy.

it's a nice mall, but is showing its age. A lot of the stores had really good deals, but others were over priced. Lots of stains on the carpet and walls. Samsonite store was very nice, excellent sales person. Banana Republic was good too. But many of the other stores ignored us or seemed grumpy....

Oh how I wish I was back in Texas! I love me some Katy Mills Mall! My mom says that many people consider this mall an, "outlet," however not all stores are an outlet store. They have many amazing stores from H&M, Victoria Secret, Hot Topic, Journeys, Vans, Nike and much more! You can always find something for anyone here as well as some great deals here!

Here was a big shopping mall. I loved the large parking lots. The food court was big. It had a variety of restaurants. I bought a cup of coffee and stayed here for a while. I watched a movie, then walked around. It was pretty big. The mall gave me a good workout opportunity. I love Katy!

It's gotten nicer lately. We had started going back since it's been cleaned up and has added some great stores. We have been 3 times in the last 2 weeks and it is really warm almost hot everywhere in the mall. We end up leaving because everyone is just too hot. Turn the a/c on!

So many stores! Great discounts everywhere. They range from Burlington all the way to Gucci. You can certainly find something that will suit your taste. A few venues to find food and drinks but you can always try nearby where there are also plenty of places in the area.

I like Katy Mills mall and I'm not really a "mall" kind of person. A lot of people don't know that Katy Mills is an outlet mall but it is. Bonus The stores are generally nice and tidy, and the employees are friendly. (Except Marshall's it's always tore up from the floor up!!!) The only complaint is the food court leaves a lot to be desired. There really is nothing good in it. I always eat before I go and that way I won't want a snack. They have a lot of shoes stores if you ever in need this is your mall to go to. Return - yes.

It's a very nice mall but I wish they could clean the floors a bit because I tripped on 3 crumpled up clothes.

There is nothing fancy here but in a pinch I find what I need at Katy Mills. It is a great place to find a dress and pumps.

I remember this mall opening when I was in the 8th grade. It has slowly changed out its stores through the years so my interest in going has waned. I have wanted to take my children here for a while but with the presence of so much crime now, I probably won't take them or will only go with my husband.

A lot of prescription drug addicts shop here. Oh wait no, that's Katy Pills. Absolutely spectacular and massive mall - and if you walk from one end to the other you feel like you just walked for 3 miles. The layout means there are tons of access points, which is handy. Massive number of stores and a very large food court with not too many great things in it although they have an excellent bubble tea stand that is part of a very good chain but hasn't quite got its act together yet despite being extremely friendly - Feng Cha. If it does then you will be in for a treat, judging by their NYC and Dallas locations. I don't think you should spend so much of your money here. Save it for the Katy Bills. The Victoria's Secret here is good, and the Build-A-Bear next to it is super friendly. The It'sugar has the sexiest pix on the walls of all the many nationwide locations I've been to. Fun times though, seeing some of the racist/anti-city-folk/anti-poor-people posts on here. I'm all for freedom of expression, but not blatant discrimination. F***ing fascists. Forget the people giving this Mall a low rating. They want Katy to be The Woodlands. Newsflash. Katy is infinitely more multicultural now, and is becoming more so by the week. And it's better for it. Barbie agrees, and we both adore this excellent, enormous Mall. Barbie also gets her sour pickles here at Katy Dills. Barbie loves showing off here because it's a little bit like the Woodlands Mall in terms of how many very cute people are wandering around here. Probably not quite as good as that but still a sexy place to hang out. I'd give it 5 stars just for the people watching. Miss Price came to get her augmentation here at Katy Hills. Some of the people here (such as the girl I came with) are so good looking that they give me Katy Chills. Speaking of which, this mall is famous, because it's the first place where she did a "legs and feet" pro photo shoot in public (i.e. not the kind that could get her arrested for obscenity), in her hometown of Houston. She's done them in Los Angeles and Vegas before, but never in TX. Kudos to the security and fellow mall-goers for not interrupting the shoot or giving her a hard time. It's become one of her popular ones. Where does Katy Perry get dinner? I'm not sure, but whoever provides those Katy Meals must have also designed Katy Mills, because it's elaborate, delicious, and caters to all kinds of tastes! I guess if that were the case it would be Katy Fills.

Nice mall. The layout is user friendly, lots of cool stores, and it is connected to a Bass Pro Shops.

I was walking those hallways since 2015 and I would definitely recommend going because there are a lot of cheap prices you can get and very nice restaurants, games, and etc. that is very enjoyable.

I have been a long time customer of Off 5th - have probably spent 20k over the past few years here. Awful experience today! Tried to return a pair of shoes purchased for my son, which did not fit, and the manager decided that he didn't like the "creases " in this obviously unworn pair of shoes. When I pointed out the return policy and mentioned the creases were from trying on the shoes which were potentially defective, he did not budge. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he gave me the "I don't have a supervisor" spiel. I thought this store to be on the higher end, but the manager of this store, wearing a tshirt and tennis shoes (unprofessional!) gave off a different vibe. Great outlet mall that's indoors. It's really big with a lot of good name brand stores. Some stores prices are what you would pay at the regular stores so unless they were having a sale you aren't getting a good deal. If you have young kids it looked like a fun place for them. They have several activities for kids. A game room, a playground, little rides and for everyone a theater. It's a great place to shop.

Pretty sad that tax free weekend and they are taxing people for everything at this mall. They have a tax "refund" booth set up for people that actually catch on that they got taxed

I went to the mall yesterday and got treated like sh1t when I was in Express Factory Outlet. I was looking for a pair of pants and asked one of the staff Krisha for help. She went: "I'm busy, just give me 2 mins". So I waited for at least 10mins without bothering her; she was actually doing stuff, yet I don't see how reshelving a few clothes and working on a computer with nobody in the check-out lane are more important than a waiting customer. When I finally walked up to her after 10 mins, she ignored me again and frowned at me when I ask, "Is there a problem?" Then she was like, "Do you still want the pants?" No girl, at this point you have ruined my mood of shopping and disrespected me quite enough, so I do not want those pants anymore. I quickly grabbed some clothes I picked earlier and ready to leave. Upon checking out, I told her I was simply asking for some help, and she should have treated me like everyone else; but again, I got the silent treatment. The whole experience was unbelievable. There were 3 workers in the shop yet no one greeted me or offered help. I have no one to talk to except princess Krisha. I am Asian and I sense this probably has something to do with the Asian Hatred that has been going on for a while, didn't expect to experience it firsthand here though. Very disappointed. Will not recommend shopping here.

Decent mall. A little crazy looking with all the closed businesses, but that's to be expected now days. Good mix of stores and plenty of parking. Though I wish the food court had a better variety of food options... Feels like every other outlet mall in America and def not a destination location. Pricing isn't much cheaper than ordering items online at a lot of the stores either. So your mileage may vary...

Don't ever buy perfumes at a perfumería owned by some Pakistani couple, they sold me a cologne for $170.00 Told me it was a top designer brand, Then I checked the name on Amazon and They had it for $40.00 total scam..

After visiting Katy Mills today, I realized I have never given my two cents about the Katy Mills experience. This was "my mall" growing up. Fifteen years ago versus now, it is a completely different mall on the inside. It's a completely different mall on the outside, as well. And neither of those comments are intended to mean anything close to the same thing, and here's why. Katy Mills has gone through a complete change, inside and out. The Hot Topic isn't a cave any more, Earthbound is minimalist and doesn't smell like Patchouli, the teen fashion stores aren't pumping out that nauseating scent into the pathway, and every single spot in the food court has turned over except for Burger King. I knew this place when there was a Johnny Rockets and the Tilt was an FYE! I would say five to seven years ago was probably Katy Mills' lowest point, with a lot of empty store fronts and rumors of human trafficking in the parking lot. They have put in a TON of effort since then, sprucing up the inner decor and putting in classier vendors like Victoria's Secret and Coach! It's a great mall inside. But the outside of Katy Mills, to put it bluntly, is in a STATE right now. The paint is so faded, the parking lots look terrible, there is construction spray paint markers left and right, plywood boards fixed to the ground, trees ground to the stump, half the neighborhood entrances don't have the welcoming intercom any more...it needs a TON of work. I feel like they're chipping away at the whole thing all at once, but this makes the mall look absolutely decrepit. Not knowing what's inside, I would compare this mall to Greenspoint. I hope they get Katy's facelift nipped and tucked soon because it's almost embarrassing walking in there now. Katy deserves a mall that rivals The Woodlands, truly. It isn't there quite yet, but when it is, I will be happy to bequeath five stars.

This is a gigantic mall. We showed up at 10:30 am, which is earlier than anyone should ever go to the mall. It was before the DragonBallZ t-shirt kiosk was even open, but somehow after people had already fouled almost every toilet in the men's bathroom. It seems like more of an outlet mall with a lot of factory stores all over, but I can't imagine you wouldn't be able to find the things you're looking for. Personally, I spent most of my time at H&M waiting for my wife to try on bathing suits, but you can also find your Victoria's Secret, your Abercrombie, your Lids, your Foot Locker, your Michael Kors (look, I don't know what you're looking for...it's a mall) and at least four different places to get a smoothie. Not to mention, there was an Easter Bunny making several children sob uncontrollably. As far as I can tell though, they don't have Auntie Anne's pretzels, which is a travesty.

This is a large shopping center with several retail outlets, factory stores, and regular stores in the mix. There is a movie theater (AMC), a segway experience, arcade, carousel, and play areas for kids. The parking is usually horrendous despite the humongous parking lot so avoiding the weekend crowd would be smart. The food court has the typical fast food spots and there are a few sweets and drink places located throughout the mall. The design inside is outdated and you can tell by the furniture and the floor. The worst is the restroom because it is not well maintained at all. Toilet paper everywhere and horrible odor with no staff in sight to clean it up. Stores can be a hit or miss but lines are always long. The best thing about Katy Mills is that it is an indoor shopping center unlike other outlet locations, which makes it a good place to shop when it's blazing hot out. Not much of a fan but if I'm looking specifically for a deal at a certain store I would make my way there to seek, hoping to find.

The mall could use an update. I was told this mall used to look like a monopoly board, but I never saw it that way. It seems like any renovations that were done did not age well. There are some portions that have carpet that is dirty and stained up. It just screams dirt and germs when I'm in that area. I get the urge to get out of that area quickly. I hope it doesn't keep shoppers from those stores. The size of this mall isn't too big either but it seems like it would be a great place to do some extra walking indoors. The food court is decent as well. They have the typical mall food which is nice to have around.

They have a wide selection of stores that you can shop for hours and still not get tired of the mall. You can go there anytime you want they have a movie theater, shoe stores, book stores, clothes store, and home appliances stores. You could stay there for hours.

Nice & clean, well lit. Security visible. Not as big(mile radius) which I like,so I don't get lost where I parked.

I would give it a solid 3. It's decent and large. But if you've ever been to Mall at Millenium or Tysons corner it pales in comparison. Also, I didn't realize but it's more of an outlet type of mall. It does have Rainforest Cafe and the amc movie theatre though.

Tried to return a broken item to the store for exchange and the manager on duty (3 Sep at 13:13) told me I could not exchanger and could only give me store credit that wouldn't activate until 24 hrs later... this lady need to be disciplined.

They have a lot of the outlet stores here. Some of my favs include the Nike store and Kate Spade. Nike factory has shoes on sales for sometimes 60-70% off. I got some Nike frees for $40, regularly $110. Kate spade outlet only has their outlet stuff at super discount (70% off plus another 20%) kind of deals. The quality isn't always there with their outlet products. You can feel the materials and tell. Good if you want the name and don't care if the purse breaks down easily. :/

Made a quick stop here when traveling into Katy Texas. I was happy happy happy when I spotted numerous shops offering 40%-50% off. There's over 150 shops. Butttttt just note all these shops are not outlets. Had a good time shopping the discounts anyway!! Oh wow, I almost forgot to share that many of the eat-shops in the food court were offering samples. Just as in regular mall shops.

A wide range of stores and food court options, but everything seemed a little drab. Maybe it was the time of day or the interior lighting.

We had to go to this mall to catch our bus to Austin. Compare to WEM and Cross Iron, this mall is very dirty and although I heard it's an outlet mall, everything was way more expensive than Canada. We walked around for about 2 hours and to be honest I didn't like the mall and probably won't go back there unless I really have to.

Glad I checked Yelp and found an event at Katy Mills outlet. Katy Mills Host "Muppet Babies" - Themed Disney Junior Play Date Event. I took my toddler nephew and he had a blast. He got to jump on the jumpy, got a Mickey Mouse tattoo, his portrait taken by an artist, got two balloon swords made by clown, played a throw game and won a prize, ate chips, cookies, pizzas, sandwich and got a bag of candies. Everything was free! Afterwards, we went shopping and I scored two shoes from Nine West for under $40! There were so many sales going on throughout the outlet. There is a AMC theater , play area for kids, food court, a huge Forever 21, H&M, Gap, Old Navy, Loft, Aldo, Converse and so many more. There are plenty of parking and I love that they had designated parking for pregnant and people with small child.

Could use more security! There was a man following my friend and myself. I noticed him in passing we crossed through forever 21 he was behind us. I pulled my friend into rainforest cafe we had a drink then left the mall. He was waiting for us outside Burlington by the parking lot. He called my friend and handed her a note. I had my brass knuckles ready because he kept getting closer to my car. Not cool Oh and those people at the kiosk ugh you tell them you're not interested and while they're talking to you they drop soap scrub in your hands so watch out. Don't remember exactly what side it's on.

First off, some of the kiosk workers at this mall are the absolute worst. I know their job is to be annoying, but they need to take it down about 10 notches. Yesterday this guy actually stepped in front of me and blocked my path as I was walking. I shook my head no as I went around him and kept going, and he continued calling out, "can I ask you a question? Ma'am? Can I ask you a question?" Sometimes they try ridiculous flattery. (Dude, we both know I can't pass as my daughter's sister. Shut up.) Sometimes they resort to low-key negging. (Yeah, my hair is frizzy today. Because Houston.) Many kiosk workers at other malls are annoying af, but these Katy Mills dudes take things to a new level. I don't know about everyone else, but this doesn't put me in the mood to reach for my credit card. I only feel spendy when I'm relaxed, not when I'm being hassled. Aside from that, the exterior could use some work, and the food court is not great. I could live with those things, but they aren't helping. They do have some stores I like, but I'd rather spend more money and/or drive further in order to have a more pleasant shopping experience.
