Katy Vibes

First time visiting turned into a second time the next day! The wings are delish. Everything we taste tested (friends were feeding us lol) was flavorful. Hot and fresh. Did not take long to receive the food. DJ first night, live band the second. Just yum! Really nice establishment.

The Live music was awesome. I loved it. The CC Rider Band: magnificent. The lead singer was so friendly, he even told me he would put me on stage to sing with him after hearing me sing. 😆 It was a great time!!!!

Great place! Karaoke night was SO FUN. Nina our waitress was amazing and that girl can sing! She was so patient and nice. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the Katy area. The food was really good. We had all appetizers. Cajun rice and chips and salsa.

We had the pleasure of being served by Amanda, multiple times, and we can’t say enough good things about her. She’s incredibly detailed! Nothing slips past her, and every part of the service was smooth and thoughtful. She was super accommodating with our requests, making sure everyone at the table was happy and comfortable without ever making it feel like a hassle. What really stood out was how often she checked in. Not in an overbearing way, but just enough to make sure we were never waiting or wondering. And on top of all that, she brought such a fun, upbeat vibe to the experience. Her energy and personality made the meal even better. If you're lucky enough to get her as your server, you're in for a great time!

This place is good. Love the food, the service, and the ambience. They need to do better with the cutlery they serve people with, they gave me two sets of cutlery that was not clean at all, I had to request for another one, they ended up giving me a black plastic cutlery sets.

I had a blast at Katy Vibes! I was actually shocked at how awesome the experience was. I went on a night when the famous TikTok instructor was in town and it was an all white event. It was epic! I'm looking forward to going back July 4th with my girlfriends.

My family and I were passing through from San Antonio and stopped here randomly because of the reviews. Was surprised how great this place is. Great music and atmosphere. It felt both sophisticated and fun at the same time. I wish I was a local. This would absolutely a regular restaurant for us. Lastly, Brad, our server provided 10 Star service. Well done guys.

I can appreciate Katy Vibes and what they're trying to do. Every neighborhood needs a place where folks can get ratchet while eating some better than average bar food and getting some daiquiri like drinks. I came on a Saturday evening so this place was bumping. There were two birthday parties going on so the main floor was pretty full with people. I sat down and was handed 2 menus, I was looking through both since they have so many options and my waitress comes up to take my order. Unfortunately I hadn't made my selection yet as it was within perhaps 1 minute of getting the menus so I asked for a few more minutes. I eventually made my choice but at least 15 minutes pass by and was wondering if she would eventually come back. Eventually she did. Since then, it turned 9 pm and it became loud. As in the DJ was blasting the music absolutely loud. I guess thats when it transitioned from restaurant/bar to club? However it was SO loud that I couldn't communicate correctly to my waitress my order Beerita + food. She also had me repeat it a few times. It took another 15+ minutes for my beerita to come out despite seeing people walk up to the bar and getting it right away. The Beerita itself was pretty delicious. NGL. However combined with the slow service, lack of attention to detail and the overly loud music, I don't think I would be coming back.

I visited during the Christmas Concert and, though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered the Louisiana Crawfish Rice with shrimp as an appetizer--it was absolutely delicious! The drinks were also great, and Nawar provided excellent service, making sure I was well taken care of. I'd recommend this place without hesitation as far as a restaurant goes. One small suggestion regarding the concert itself: for future events, it would be helpful to minimize distractions from the follow-up act and managerial staff walking around the front of the stage during the final performances. It would help keep the focus on the performers and enhance the overall experience. It really did feel like there wasn't much organization. Otherwise, I enjoyed the show--thank you for helping spread the holiday spirit!

happy hour on their menu says until 11pm, drive 30 minutes to get here at 10pm and be told the kitchen closed at 1pm. so in other words, come an hour earlier than the actual time specified online and you'll be okay

One of my favorite places to come and relax, listen to music, and watch the games. One of the best, bartenders in katy as well (B)! Go check her out and you will see what I mean! Good convos, great recommendations for food and drinks. She will have your back!

Visited on a Saturday night before 7pm; it was pretty empty. The hostess & waitress were friendly, but the timeliness of service was odd. I ordered a beer when we sat down, and it took 20 mins to come out-- our burger came out before the beer. The burger was okay, the fries had a nice crunch, but the draft wasn't poured anywhere near the top of the 16oz. glass. Overall, very underwhelming and wouldn't come back unless there was entertainment I really wanted to see.

Will start with the positive: Great atmosphere, friendly host, good manager, DJ for Karaoke was hype and very social. I will come back again just for this part. They named it right ... Katy Vibes because it was a great Vibe (rate a 4 or 5) The negative: We got there at 6:30p and the host said to sit anywhere. Well we sat and sat until around 6:50p until I got the manager's attention. People all around us that came in after us had their orders and drinks in before us. Okay, we let that go because the vibe was great. It's funny because one of the ladies that got there after us but served before us was on their second pina colada and watched the waitress go table to table to find out whose it was.. the customer kept trying to get the waitresses attention was hilarious. We ordered wings, margaritas, and spinach dip off the happy hour menu. All three margaritas (mango, watermelon, regular margarita) taste like koolaid, no alchohol or at least so little that it was undetectable... those items were $5 each so no big deal. Also order wings and spinich dip. Service came with chip and salsa but the presentation was not good at all. Just look like some chips thrown on a plate at the house and taste below average. Now lets talk about the spinach dip -- When it came out, did not look good and I actually told our RUDE waitress, Ari A. but she ignored. My daughter and wife started eating it anyways and after wished they would have sent it back immediately. The wings were actually okay, not great but for 10 bucks at happy hour, they were okay not disappointed. After our drinks had been gone for 25 minutes our waitress, ARI A. finally comes back, we were still in a good mood and ordered regular margaritas off the menu NOT happy hour. The margaritas came about 20 minutes later but were so sour but at least this time had alcohol in them. So we continued listening to karaoke and enjoying the crowd and vibe for at least 20-25 minutes as I'm looking for our waitress, ARI A so I could close out the ticket. I can't remember whether I flagged her down or she came over on her own. I told her that we did not like the spinach dip at all it was terrible. When I received the ticket it included the spinach dip, 3 house margaritas, 3 regular margaritas, and hot wings. The total was around 92 bucks. I then told ARI A to remove the spinach dip... that's when here attitude got nasty... she then said she needed her manager to approve... she should have already discussed that when I told her the spinach dip was terrible and we barely ate it...it looked and taste terrible. Also, saw that 3 regular margaritas came up to 48 bucks alone and they weren't that great and very sour. We didn't ask for a special margarita just a margarita off the menu and why so much. Ari A. adjusted the ticket and took the spinach dip off and it totaled 76.86. I generally tip above average but service was so bad that I was actually only going to give the waitress 7 bucks but I changed my mind and gave her 10 which for the service and nasty attitude that was a bonus. When my printed ticket came it let me know I was not imagining Ari's bad attitude... she slammed the ticket on the table and kept walking. She does not deserve a second chance. Get rid of her, she is bad for business even if she is a relative! (rate a 1 or 2) Long to short, will go back and hope to participate in karaoke but hesitant on service. Hopefully you replace some of waitstaff with veterans or young people that care

Walked in, seated ourselves. It was karaoke night that started at 7pm. We sat around 6:30pm, we had Jess as a waitress. She started off good and attentive, and then he attention started to turn into missing and we looking for her to ask for other items we need. The food was not as delicious as I remembered. Crawfish was very oily. Salmon sliders was dry, bread on top was toasted or heated. Fries were on point. Phillycheese steak was okay. My friend ATE a sticker from the avocado farm. The manager came over and comped my friends food along with a birthday shot. Really took care of her in that aspect. And they had karaoke as entertainment. We also had Mexican candy shots which were okay. Overall, visit was okay.

Friday night has good vibes. The hookah was on point and the service from Nic was quick and efficient. The food was hot and the crawfish rice is a must try. It had the right amount of kick! Mixed crowd with a good music selection.

Great place. Really enjoyed the line dance classes last year. Always love the happy hour wings. Service was quick and on point. Ambience was nice. Experienced several birthday parties being held while eating there. Looked like a lot of fun!!! 4 star

Went on a Friday night around 830ish, karaoke was finishing up which was a bummer cause my brother is a karaoke junkie! But he was able finagle the waitress and dj to allow him to sing his song even though it was shutting down. Anyways, upon walking in this spacious layout, a stage area slash dance floor. Great waitress good food!

Nice place to hear some great sounds. Saw Cool Breeze, my favorite R & B cover band, there twice and it's a great night club with great drinks, cold beer and a great ambiance. And the food was WAY better than "bar food" at a good price. Then I found out it's a restaurant of some note by day - and it now all makes sense. Check it out.

I'm not sure... seems like a nice spot, however I didn't get to even find out. I was turned away at the door. I walked in and tried to go to the bar. Someone stopped me right away and told me they were sold out for the night. I asked "so I need to have a reservation (at a bar)...?" He replied yes because they have a live band. Hmmmm...? I wasn't trying to get a table or even a seat, I was just trying to go to the bar and order a drink.... It was before 9:00 pm on a Saturday and the outside patio was completely empty.

Today was the first time my family and I visited. The following entrees were ordered: the hanging skewer, lamb chop lollipop, wings, taco, pizza, and the special dessert of the day: churro fries w/ ice cream. Hanging Skewer: my nephew has the steak well done he enjoyed it. The asparagus was raw, so we spoke with the waiter and he brought out broccoli instead. Lollipop Lamb chop : I ordered it medium well. The lamb, carrots, potatoes, and sauce were paired perfectly. I think I had the best dish for the evening. The other entrees were okay and not a fan favorite. The dessert was terrible and not to my liking. It was literally fries with sugar coatings and ice cream, I.e churro fries. A big no. Service: The waiter was nice but I will say things went for a turn when he first took my nephews drink order and walked off. We had to request our order. Later in the setting one of my nephews apparently asked for ice cream on the way to wash his hands ( we never knew he asked for it) and the waiter actually submitted an order from a 5 year old. I have never seen anything like it, we had to request for it to be removed from the tab. Payment: there's an automatic 20% gratuity if your tables food comes out $90 or $100. If the tab is split for specific people, the 20% gratuity is still added to each tab. When paying be sure the you are aware the gratuity is automatically added and the tip option will show as an added option ( this can easily be missed) Overall: Our service was not above average and he took orders from a 5 year old and attempted to add it to the bill without telling the adults. Food was decent, depending on what you ordered. All in all I wouldn't travel to eat here again.

Before I begin, let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's do it!. This establishment really surprised me, I wasn't expecting much but another sports bar.. but this place rocked! The vibe was amazing, the music, the live D.J. the servers were on point. I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment we got especially with the large wedding party we had! The fact they were able to accommodate us all was another plus. I will definitely return when I'm in the area!. I forgot to mention that they had a wide variety of beers, liquor, mixed drinks, wine and spirits! A full bar with for all your alcohol needs!. That's another plus for me.

Katy Vibes is vibe.....was seated right away by the hostess. Amanda our waitress informed us about Ladies Night & Happy Hour Specials. Food came out piping hot & fresh. The well drink hit the spot. They even had a DJ who played a variety of music you could groove to. Enjoyed just hanging having a great time with friends.

They've been giving off pretty good vibes lately, so I love Katy Vibes. If I make jokes about them, they're just Katy Jibes. Cute little local bar that has awesome southern style wings, and in fact the wings are the main selling point, as are of course the alcoholic beverages. We fully recommend little local businesses like this over chains, and that's why we usually come and check them out, and why we first came here. Definitely my favorite Wings in Katy - and that's not saying a lot because I lived in Buffalo so the buffalo wings up there are incredible and down here not so great, but I like them. Especially that they're not really directly imitating buffalo wings and more of a kind of a southern style, which works especially down here and makes them unique and local. So of course, no way I was ever not going to give them five stars, and Barbi loves it here, especially that I get her drunk here, which she does every now and again.

I had the crawfish rice appetizer I got food poisoning. The service drinks and vibes were really good . But I would definitely never eat there again .

Front desk greeter - nice! Waitress brought us water and said she would return to get our orders... after 20+ minutes, we were still waiting to order our food. She decided to go dance on the dance floor. We asked someone else if they could take our order. She went to grab our waitress off the dance floor. She was CLEARLY PI$$ED OFF. Went to another patrons table to refill their drinks, still not acknowledging our presence... We decided to leave as we felt like that was a personal shun. It was after 11pm and there were numerous children which your sign clearly states no one under 21 permitted after 9pm... This was my first visit and last

I've come here more than once. It's like the neighborhood bar whether you want to watch the game or grab a meal with friends and family. They have a very extensive menu from appetizers, bar food, to fine cuisines. I loved the spinach dip and lemon drop. The crawfish rice is pretty good it's just a tad bit spicy for my taste buds. And the service is good too.

They were not ready for this event, Service was horrible, I should say our server was horrible. Music was awesome as usual for Step Redo, food was ok . I just NEVER received my drink order of wine, ever. I asked the entire time 3+ hours and never received it, I kept getting excuses of bar being backed up.. Great place to have a quick party but next time plan better for the V.I.P

Returned Thursday after years of not patronizing this restaurant. I ordered a hamburger wasn't seasoned but okay until I reached the center. There was something crunchy and hard in the middle. I was afraid to finish the remainder of the sandwich. I didn't call to complain, I will not return as a result of this.

Came here for a date night because I heard they have hookah! This is a cute little spot with lice music. On Saturday there is a cover charge unless you sit outside. You also can only smoke hookah outside so that's where I headed. The service left something to be desired. We were seated and waiting for at least 10 minutes. We saw two servers constantly going back and forth and even making eye contact and avoiding us. It got so bad I had to ask one of them for a manager, THEN a new waiter came out to assist us. I got the vibe that we weren't even in his section. Like he was taking us because the other two didn't want to. Either way he was great minus the wait. I ordered the chicken sandwich it had a funny taste to it. The hookah was great a bit pricey but good.

This is my second time here. I will be back. I was introduced to this place by my nephew, Jeramie. He told everyone about what this place has to offer. He said this is a fun place and every night they have something going on. The food is great. I love the wings, like southern fried wings. But everything they brought out (as I peeped other tables) looks great. Wake up Katy because Katy Vibes is here Tonight I am here with the happy hour. The tornado potato's are different and delicious. DJ is coming on at 7:00. Might Yelp you I was here Wednesday night for Karioke. Was passing through and ended up shutting it down. Just so much fun. Even the staff performed. A lot of no talent and even more fun. So come on out. Ask for Jeramie

NEW BRUNCH offering! wish I'd taken pic of brunch menu - 8-10 unique items, each sounded yummy! and I can vouch for the frozen peach bellinis! Even better than the food and bellinis, was the entertainment! Layne Roberts singing live - what a voice! and some sass mixed in! New go-to!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Katy Vibes. I love the environment, they have live music several times throughout each month. They also do a happy hour Tuesday through Friday during which a lot of their items are five dollars a piece. You absolutely cannot beat that! To top it off, their food items are especially good. I've tried the wings, calamari fries and their normal fries and everything was really good. The service was nice, I think I waited a total of 10 to 15 minutes before my food came out. Everyone was very nice and I enjoyed my time there. I will definitely be back.

The place was great our waiter Chris was also great! The food was delicious, drinks were mixed well . My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. They also have a V.I.P section that you can reserve and they also have live entertainment . Great place

First time visiting Katy Vibes our waiter Carlie was amazing , she was attentive and friendly, the food was good and atmosphere was good Will be back!

This spot has the potential to be great but the food is just not good. I loved the venue but the food seemed overpriced, unseasoned, and not well made.

The atmosphere was a whole vibe. The service was average. The food and drinks were horrible. I was there tonight for a birthday party of a colleague. I called them after we left because I was charged $100 plus for just my small order. Come to find out after speaking with Adam the manager they hit me with a 20% gratuity after we gave this dude a nice size tip. He damn sure took it and didn't utter a word about that damn 20% gratuity his manager claimed he told us. So everyone that placed an order at that table was hit with the 20% because it was a large party. It wasn't even my party I was an attendee. Then he said Brad our server told us. I had to break this child down because he was back and forth about what his server did and none of us knew this. If this was the case we wouldn't have called back questioning the overage. The drinks were straight sour didn't taste any alcohol. So we bought expensive ass sour juice. The wings with dry rub was straight nasty. The only decent food was sweet potato fries. Will not return there again. I was planning on have my birthday event there next month. Never ever will I let my guest get robbed for 20% plus extra tips for fucked up food and drinks.

Whats going on my Yelpers. So tonight I tried Katy Vibes for the first time. Seen the place a 100 times and decided to finally stop by. So for starters the staff at the front door were nice. We sat down and ordered some drinks and some food. Our server came over and said her name but it was hard to hear because of the music playing. The wait time for the food was good, it didnt take long and the food was okay. We got the nachos, the Vibe burger, and the crawfish with rice. I give the food a 7/10. And the prices were on the high side for what you get in quality. Still pretty decent like I said. So you're probably wondering why the 3 stars. Well our waitress forgot our drinks, she maybe checked in on us 3 times (mind you they were not busy while we were there) and while she did ask if everything was good that was before we ran out of our drinks and were waiting to get more. The manager even came by and took our glasses but didnt bother to ask if we needed anything else to drink or a refill. Still not a problem. When the waitress came again we reminded her about our drinks and she got them for us but we had already started eating, would of been nice to have them before. All in all the place wasnt bad, the DJ was actually setting up and getting ready but we had been there long enough we were ready to go. The saving grace was the food, since I am big on service and food. I would be willing to give them another chance, hopefully a little better service and try some different food to see if my perception changes. Overall though it was a decent spot.

The last few times I've visited this establishment before 7pm I was told there was a cover charge. I gave the place a break. I returned today and was told I could not be seated outside due to an event that was to start at 9pm. I came exactly at 6pm. I will not be returning.

Venue is really nice but the food is a little pricey for the menu options. Came here with friends and had a good time but our server brought us another drink without asking which was weird. We paid for them anyways but I probably won't return here.

I ordered food at work from GRUBHUB. I was very impressed with the food arriving hot and good. I ordered the MANGO HABANERO. They were sooooooo flavorable. I was very pleased with the choose ice of vegetables. Cucumbers, celery, and carrots. I am looking forward to dining in to eat my food as it is served.

Love katy vibes. When it's crawfish season that have the best sauce. Drinks are really good. I love sitting down the service was really good to be a super club style ambiance. I definitely want to come back at night to see the live performances.

We went here this evening and got the Mushroom Crab Bites to start. I had the Cucumber Martini, and my husband had the Pain Killer. We had some Kamikaze shots. Our servers name was Angel. He was great and went above and beyond. We had the King Crab, Snow Crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and andouille sausage. The manager, Sam, was nice and took care of us as well. We had a great experience, and we will be back!!!!

This is only my second time here... The service has been very on point. And there is an eclectic mix of people. The first time I came, they were doing Katy Idol, then Latin night! It's a fun and welcoming vibe here. I recommend as a newbie to Katy myself. I will definitely be back

Went to Katy Vibes last night to hear the band Cool Breeze. It was a wonderful show as the did Must c from Prince. This isn't my first time here and I have to say the food isn't that great and the drink prices are too expensive. It's a nice place, with good entertainment from bands and DJ's but I really would like them to do better with the quality of the food and drinks. Giving 3.5 stars on what could be 5 stars with a few changes.

We went there on a Thursday night. Got there around 6:00 p.m. we ordered two beers, only to be told 15 minutes into it that the blue moon draft was no good. They eventually brought us two beers, took another 15 minutes for them to bring the food. The food wasn't the worst, but the service is very very slow. On top of that kept waiting for someone to give us the check so that we could pay. I didn't think too much of it and just paid the bill, till later realize that they charged us for the Blue Moon that they never brought us. They charges for in large party, apparently two adults and one three year old are considered a large party. Overall bad service, okay food , and the beer was flat. Do not recommend a place at all.

Great Service!! Came in Tuesday evening after work for a quick drink and was treated to an amazing dinner with phenomenal service. Brad was a next level server, anticipated each need for our table as if it is his sixth sense. Will definitely be coming back, great meal great drinks, and lastly, Brad, our champion of the evening. He rocked!
