Katy’s is truly one of Jerusalem’s most special hidden gems.
From the moment you step inside, you feel as though you’ve been transported to a little corner of Paris—far away from time, noise, and rush.
The restaurant is named after Katy herself, the most beautiful, sweet, and gracious woman (that’s her in the photo holding a photo of herself from the day the restaurant opened!) Her presence alone makes the experience unforgettable. She is warm, welcoming, and full of heart, and you immediately feel like a guest in her home rather than a customer in a restaurant.
The food is absolutely wonderful—authentic French kosher cuisine prepared with so much care and soul. Every bite felt thoughtful and comforting, elegant yet deeply satisfying.
Soft jazz music fills the space, surrounded by timeless art and an atmosphere that feels nostalgic and intimate. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger, talk, listen, and simply be.
It truly felt like stepping into a different time zone. Katy’s is without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants in Jerusalem, and a place I will return to again and again.
