Had a fantastic lunch today after the Dr. visit. I had the Katz special, a corned book on rye with Russian dressing and cole slaw. My only complaint was it needed a little more Russian dressing. The was fixed ASAP by our waiter, Gee, when he brought me an extra cup of the dressing. I also had the house fried chips (FANTASTIC). My wife had the Monte Cristo. It was great but the sweety/spicy dipping sauce was next level great. We of course ended with sharing a cheesecake milkshake. Tres Leche! Gee gave it a shot of caramel since it obviously needed more sugar...lol. We love our lunch and will be back again!

Google
The food was delicious! I had the 2 sauce pasta with shrimp and wifey had the turkey breast sandwich. We loved the spiced hot apple cider too! And Gee was a great server with plenty of suggestions! This might become our new go to spot when we're visiting Houston and need a place to eat late because we always find ourselves needing a place to eat late here!

It was our first time coming to Katz and I can say it was the best! We were greeted by the manager Mr. Drew and had an amazing waiter named Christian always coming by to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing the service was incredible. I highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed at all!

Ambiance: Upscale diner that's open 24/7 and perfect for curbing literally any craving at any time of the day! What I like about Katz's is that they've put a "fancy" twist on a classic diner. It's a nice ambiance & in my experience always quite clean. The menu is large & expansive - with options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or desserts/snacks. My husband works a later evening shift so I love that Katz's is an option for a late night date night! It's also the perfect post-evening spot for a quick bite or curing a hangover. Great breakfast spot for families, fun place for hanging with friends, and also ideal for dining alone. Parking onsite. Lots of seating options. Busier at certain times of the day. A bit pricey for diner food but I feel that the quality and ambiance is worth it! Highly recommend the succotash veggies!

Google
Only been once their sandwiches were delicious, good ingredients and good taste. The only set back is the price 45$ for 2 sandwiches and a soup? If u don’t mind over paying definitely good lunch place!! Will be try breakfast next time I go

Katz is a go-to for us, especially late at night. The food always comes out hot. The server always came in and checked on us, and same with the manager. A couple things to note: chicken was cooked to perfection, the cheese balls were delicious, and the cheesecake was fantastic! Regardless, all items were perfect. The servings are always large. We had a pleasant dining experience and always look forward to returning to Katz. I recommend to check them out if you’re looking around.

Google
First of all, I was super impressed with the cleanliness of Katz’s. Most chain restaurants in the woodlands are not well maintained. The atmosphere was bright and fun. G was our waiter and he was so sweet. Management came by to chat and check on us. I was really impressed with how friendly and personable they were. I can’t wait to go back. The food we ordered was cooked well, just not to our taste. But I think it was what we ordered, I really want to try more to see if anything else is more to my liking. Cinnamon roll was delicious!

I’ve been to almost every Katz’s location including the one they used to have in Austin and I finally got to try this one in outside of Houston. It was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday night, with maybe five people inside, which made for a super relaxed experience. Service was excellent the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and there was no wait at all. Parking was easy too, which is a big bonus, especially since it’s conveniently located right off the highway. As always, the food was fresh and satisfying exactly what I expect from Katz’s. No matter which location I visit, they’re consistent with both flavor and quality, and this one lived up to the name. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for a laid back, no stress meal with great service. I’ll be back! Katz’s never kloses!

Yelp
GREAT Customer Service is the way to my heart :-) They have customer service down packed! We were cheerfully greeted by the manager and several staff members upon entry. Our waiter quickly approached our table and took our drink order. James was attentive and prompt throughout the entire time we were there. Several other staff members checked on us as well! Thanks for caring! It does not go unnoticed! I've been here several times as you can see lol. However my meal today hit the spot!! Scrambled eggs with Lox & Onions, I added capers, tomatoes and cream cheese. DELISH!!! The potato pancakes were crispy on the outside but moist on the inside, which made for the perfect bite!! Restaurant was clean including the bathroom. Tables were cleared in a timely manner as well. No complaints! :-)

Yelp
Came in for a pastrami sandwich take out. Food is good. But billing practices are just crapola. Which is why I'm only giving it 2 stars. They surcharge credit cards on take out as well as dine in. So I decided to pay in cash this time. Apparently there's an automatic gratuity on all "to go" orders. Fine but I wish they'd be more transparent about it because when I ordered there weren't any menus at the to go kiosk which is where I suspect they add the small print. And there are no signs about the automatic gratuity either at the to-go kiosk. To add to the lack of transparency, when I asked about the total amount that they said I would owe for the sandwich, I asked what that total includes, like does it include the credit card charge for example. They said it's only for the sandwich and tax. They didn't mention the automatic take out gratuity which was also on the bill I received, but only after I paid it. It's the same deal when you pay at the table. I asked what the subtotal was and they didn't show me. Asked again, didn't show me. So it was hard for me to determine if their calculation of the tip includes tip on the tax. The other thing is that they don't give any change in coins when paying by cash. Is that even legal? No discussion had. They just either assume you don't want it or just don't give it. So I guess that's like an additional mandatory tip on top of the other mandatory tip. They were actually struggling to scrounge up enough bills to give me back as change as it stood. So apparently coins were just out of the question. I'm guessing most people don't pay in cash but instead just bite the bullet and pay their pass through credit card surcharge. Frustrating for the rest of us trying to pinch pennies. It took 25 minutes to get our sandwich. It was just pastrami meat on untoasted rye. No condiments or anything. About as simple as could be. Yet 25 minutes. I get they're busy but still. I used to frequent Katz's every Saturday. But I just can't see myself coming back again. Lots of deli places in town that don't do this kind of stuff.

Yelp
We followed in a family leaving the restaurant and the hostess turned her back on us and shut the door, then went to their table at the front and started cleaning it as we waited at the hostess station. A server and manager came over saying she'd be with us soon. NP- a little odd, as it was pretty obvious she'd seen us but nbd, we'd really wanted to try this place after living here so long. She didn't get any friendlier. Server came out right away, we ordered our drinks and food quick since we hadn't eaten yet for the day and it was past noon. I e got our app, then the main course before he returned and we needed refills and a change of drinks. Bottom line- food was good, service terrible. The manager came over in between while we needed drinks thinking we'd say everything was great but we mentioned we needed drinks with our meal. Great interior!

Yelp
Holy Mary!!! Before this trip to Katz's, I didn't know you could pair Holy with a Bloody Mary...but here you can!!! Service & Food are both excellent. This is my second time here. Chilaquiles - YES - add beef fajita This time with my hubs I got the chilaquiles-add beef fajita!!! I did my eggs poached. Perfect!!! Avocado toast - Yes - spicy if you can handle it. Fresh sliced jalapeño on top. Better yet, get both and mix them together. Perfect combo to share. Large portions. The fresh fruit with light yogurt sauce and nut crumbles was also very nice. Phil was our server. Detail oriented and friendly. He was on it. Both managers checked on us. Drew and other lady were very pleasant and professional. Side note - OPEN 24 HOURS!!! I discovered this place when my mom had emergency surgery at a near by hospital. I was starving in the middle of the night. The food was spectacular with a meat stuffed cabbage and some kind of meatball soup. Both were so darn good!! So much flavor!!!

Yelp
We got in late to the woodlands area and all the restaurants except this one were closed. The service was very friendly as we placed a to go order so we could just eat quickly in our hotel and go to bed. The food came out quickly and the order was correct. I really did not find my food to be very good at all. I ordered jalapeño poppers and potato skins. Neither one tasted freshly made in any way. Almost seemed as if they were made in the morning for the day and then warmed up in a microwave when I ordered late at night. Very disappointed in my food!

Yelp
Its been a while that we haven't been on this location, the food is still good especially the matzo ball soup and Reuben sandwich. The people are still friendly. The only complaint i gave is our server is always missing. I saw a few people standing around and just talking. The food is still good thats why i still recommending it.

Yelp
I ordered this to our hotel: The driver had to wait for my order a long time. The food quality? My Chicken and Waffles were mid (soggy waffle) and the Chilaquiles? They didn't have the crème pictured and they didn't have the salsa and the chilaquiles were $18! Btw it was just chips, no refried beans: In this economy?? Uber Eats refunded $2 for the missing sauces. I deleted my Uber account.

Yelp
What a freaking ripoff. Sunday 11-1-25. 4:45 pm-5:45 pm. Not more than 3 tables occupied at once. Ordered an $18 sandwich to split with spouse. Took 30 minutes. Spouse ordered drink when she placed order. Had to reorder when food arrived and asked for extra plate. Manager came by wanting to know how everything was. I mentioned above and mentioned I thought the sandwich could at least have come with chips. Oh no, everything is ala cart. What a lousy experience. Never going back. Dirty floors.

Yelp
12.24.25 Never tried this location before and we have not been to Katz's in about 15 years. They never close so we decided to give them a try on Christmas. First, we got the very last table available. They were very busy. I read a few reviews before going there and some people were saying the table chairs were uncomfortable. I would suggest to sit in a booth or wait for one. Your bum will thank you! We ordered cheese crisp for an appetizer. They were very tasty. Perfect amount to share. Would order again! I ordered chicken fried chicken and it comes with mashed potatoes and country gravy (had them put on the side) I did not like the gravy; it had a burnt taste to it. I ate the CFC without the gravy and it was good. Mashed potatoes were a little boring. Needed salt and pepper. Would I order this again....maybe. It was good but not great. Hubby ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were homemade and he said they were very good. I tried his garlic bread and it was great. I ordered some for my meal. We both had house salads without tomatoes. It was a spring mix...too much arugula for us. One thing I did not like - we were serviced our salads and not even 30 seconds went by and there was our entrees. (Minus 1 star) Our server was not great but not bad either. Just in between. It was Christmas so we just went with the flow. Overall our experience here was just like the rest of the review...not great but not bad either. For 1 water,1 tea, cheese crisp, Spaghetti & meatballs, CFC and 2 salads we were $88 before tip.

Yelp
We had never been to a Katz's but had seen their signs about & decided to give them a try for brunch on a Wednesday. From the moment we walked in & asked to be seated, we enjoyed it. Allie, our hostess who became our server, focused on us like we were the only people there, we were not. The menu is extensive. When the food came out, the presentation was great & it was delicious. No extra seasoning needed.Coffee was replenished right on time. Kim, the co-manager, came to check on us as well. Katz's was a wonderful experience after a very trying early morning.

Yelp
Always great for a late night bite! Got the grilled cheese with the tomato bisque and it hit the spot. Service was fast despite the late hour and there are plenty of tables available!

Yelp
I'm sorry to say, this Katz's doesn't come close to the "real one" in New York City. Nice atmosphere, but it's not the same. I can only compare the matzo ball soup and the corned beef sandwich against the original. I also sampled some of the pot roast sandwich. Corned beef was about the same as Boar's Head deli meat. Good, not great. Was it made in-house? I don't know. Next time I'll try the pastrami and hope they make it in the restaurant. Matzo Ball soup was excellent and spared this review one less star. Balls were fluffy and the broth had a nice flavor and kick to it. The pot roast was ok. Not great but good. Service was good from our waiter and other staff that helped bring out the order. I'll give it one more shot next time we're in town, otherwise there are so many other places to get meat close by.

Yelp
Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of NYC decor and food to make you miss being there. Sandwiches a bit different than being in New York but still decent. I wasn't a fan of the Russian dressing, made the sandwich a bit off for me. Would have liked the bread a bit more toasty and crisp. Will go back to try breakfast at some point.

Yelp
Love this place. They catered my wedding years ago and have been eating here before we were married. Excellent New York deli styled food with a wide range of options. Love the Ruben as they have excellent sour kraut. Staff is friendly and they now have a full bar if that is your thing. Deserts are great as well. According to my wife her desert was really rich.

Yelp

Yelp
Really enjoyed this cute diner experience- unique menu with a NYC vibe. Our server Mariah made the experience, she was excellent! Got the chicken and waffles with eggs on the side. Pretty standard cafe food. The menus need a good wipe down but otherwise everything was very clean!

Javi H.

Yelp
The food is quite mid but the service tends to be good and the vibe is chill. It's the kind of place where you can hang out with your friends at 3am

Yelp
A quick stop at Katz in Shenandoah was just what the doctor ordered! I got a peach tea and the lunch special with a 1/2 Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and a 1/2 order of the sweet potato fries. My other half ordered the Klassic Reuben. Both were delicious!!! The bread tasted fresh, the meat full of flavor and moist. The sweet potato fries are so good!! I think I could eat those all day long! The pickle on the side is always crispy and tasty. The peach tea looks cloudy, but it's actually really good. Not too sweet, so it's perfect without any sugar added. The manager stopped by to check on us twice, which is always nice. Our waiter, Phillip was very attentive and stayed on top of things for us since we were in a bit of a hurry. Bathrooms...clean, but nothing fancy. Thank you Katz's! You did a great job this visit!

Yelp
Disappointed. I grew up right across the bridge from New York City and worked in the city later in life. I have been to every kind of deli there is and especially Jewish delis. This is none of those! Sure the sandwiches have similar names and ingredients, but its not that good. If you've never been to the NYC area, you would never know. Asked for a turkey, cole slaw, and russian on rye = They gave me a rueben with corned beef. The waiter did the best to fix it and I got = corned beef, cole slaw, russian on rye. The manager was making the rounds and asked me how my meal was and I said, "they got it wrong twice!" And he said, "There's a language barrier and they don't read all the words." To which I said, "If they don't know the words, shouldn't somebody be back there telling them what to make?" He asked if I wanted it remade, but after waiting 30 mins to get a sandwich right the first time, I said no. Food review. - French fries - thick and tasty. I asked for crispy and got regular. I wish they were crispy. - Russian dressing = very good. - Sandwich? Nope. No taste to the rye. Soft rye (wonder bread style) with no taste. The same for the corned beef. It might have well be unseasoned roast beef. Cole slaw was better than average. - I ordered onion soup with no bread or cheese... it came to me cold. I might give them a second chance just to see if this wasn't just a bad day... maybe. I New Yorker would call this Katz location a "fugazi!" - meaning fake or counterfeit.

Yelp
Had breakfast at Katz's last weekend. When I think of Katz's, I don't usually think of breakfast. The breakfast was good. The potato pancakes are seasoned well. The bagels are made fresh, so they are soft. Cream cheese is whipped. Service was good. Restaurant is clean.

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend last night and just like the time before it was awesome. I would like to apologize to Dylan and Perry who took care of us my boyfriend had an issue paying with his card and it was because of his bank nothing anyone did but I am sorry if he was rude to y'all. Dylan is a rockstar and deserves a huge raise he did amazing and Perry is a good manager because he was walking around checking on the guests and to me that is a sign of good leadership. Keep up the good work and don't worry we will be back.
google avatar

Alfredo C.

Yelp
Excellent service from our waitress Kristi !! Mrs. Had a Reuben , and I had a corn beef sandwich with potato pancakes. Now we must order cheesecake for dessert. By some happenstance, we came during the happy hour so not many people are here and the service is prompt. Food is good as always.

Yelp
Where do you find a meal in the Woodlands after 1am? IHOP, Katz...end of list. In that way Katz is a late night staple (for the Woodlands.) The food is fine. This trip I ordered the "skinny" French dip. The "skinny" options offer a smaller portion size compared to the traditional sandwich. If I'm honest, this was still more than I needed. I wish they offered a half sandwich 24/7. Nevertheless, it's lovely to see breakfast all day, because no matter if it's 10/10 flavor, I'll take a pancake at any time of day! In my many trips, the restaurant remains clean, the service consistent, and the offerings varied. The reason I give this joint 4 stars is that I've yet to be impressed by anything I've tried in my over 10 years tenure. While I hope this changes, I'm sure I'll be back when I'm next up at 2am in search of a pancake or bagel with lox!

Jane D.

Yelp
This was a bit disappointing. I went in the middle of a quiet Monday afternoon. Had the lunch special half sandwich and a side. Got the Reuben and a cheese stuffed potato, which I haven't ordered in 25 years. The Reuben was fine probably not enough meat for a man. I love sauerkraut, but there was way too much. The chief stuffed potato didn't seem to be cooked all the way through but I liked that it came with sour cream. The service was great. I won't be dying to go back but if a friend wanted to, I'd go.

Yelp
This was our first visit here. Let me start by saying the staff was excellent. The Hostess, our waitress, and the manager were all great. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspect of our visit ends. My wife wanted Eggs Benedict, they have Texas Style Eggs Benedict on the menu, which, as you could probably guess means it came with brisket, so she asked them to hold the brisket. She also ordered a side of matzo ball soup. The soup was incredibly salty. The Eggs Benedict ingredients seemed fresh however the preparation was very disappointing. The eggs were overcooked, the English muffin was rubbery, and the Hollandaise sauce was orange . The side of potatoes was quite small. To drink, she ordered a Michelada, while it was pretty and looked fresh, she would not order it again. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Supreme which comes with a condiment ramekin of Tomato Basil soup, a pickle, and a pickled jalapeño. It was ok, but unremarkable. I wouldn't order it again. To drink I ordered a Barbados Rum Punch. Again it was pretty, but I didn't taste any rum. Our bill was 70 dollars. I feel that this was offensively overpriced, and that you're paying for the name of Katz. This was inspired by a New York delicatessen, I grew up in New York, this is nothing like a New York delicatessen, the food they serve is very corporate and uninspired, our experience here was sadly disappointing, with the exception of the service. I don't think we'll be back.

Kari A.

Yelp
Mediocre service. Sub par food. Ordered the matzo ball soup to go. It had noodles ! Really? Waited on hold to talk to a manger 8 minutes before I hung up! Will NEVER go back!

Yelp
If your looking for amazing sandwiches, come here!!! Wow wow wow!! We absolutely loved everything about this place. We came here on a Saturday for brunch with a large group of family. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. They offer the most amazing sandwiches and potato pancakes with the traditional fixings - sour cream and apple sauce. The restaurant is a fun environment, very modern with bright natural lighting. I loved the background music too, they were playing old songs by Stevie Wonder and Nat King Cole.

Tahya B.

Yelp
First time here at Katz's and from the second we walked in we were very warmly greeted by the host and manager. Immediately started our experience off right. Once we were sat our server got our drink orders immediately and made recommendations for the flavored tea that my friend loved, quick and efficient server even though we came in during their busy lunch rush. They had good music playing that made our lunch even more enjoyable. The food was pretty good the spinach and artichoke dip was a bit watery for my liking but my friend loved it. My sandwich, the pot roast sandwich, was soo good and the bread was very fresh and nicely toasted. My friend loved the kountry klub sandwich and her mac and cheese. All around a really great experience that was set over the top by the great service. Thank you Katz's we will most definitely be back!

Yelp
Totally unremarkable. I got the Katz Pride Klassic Corned beef, which was flavorless in both the meat and Rye bread. My son got the kids chicken sandwich, and when I asked him how it was, he said it tasted like bread. My sandwich waited on the counter for a full five minutes before it was brought to me. The pickle was extremely acidic, and inedible. As a native New Yorker, I know good corned beef and Jewish Rye when I taste it, but you won't find it here. I would call this a "faux" New Yotk Deli, and not genuine in any way. Very disappointed, but it has a three star rating for a reason. My bad for failing to check in advance.

Yelp
Good casual foods with a laid back kick. Friendly staff and servers. Great place for lunch or late night...even good for the kids.

Yelp
2nd visit to this location. First was two years ago and very pleasing. Yesterday, well, let's just say, not so much. Right off the bat, we ended up with the most apathetic and disengaged server ever (Yong?). She brought our iced teas (minus any significant ice), turned of her heels, and was gone like it was a drive-by. It turns out this is her style...hardly stopping her walking, not giving a chance for a response, and glaring on by. So the teas had almost no ice and there was no sweetener (nor any other condiment) on the table. Before we could ask for some, she was gone for a good 15 minutes. We had to ask the manager for ice and sweetener. When she finally did come by to take our order (we'd ordered the jalapeño poppers app already), this drive-by happened again. She glided by, asked if we were ready to order, and literally never stopped moving as she walked away. I had to call her back. I flat out said, "You asked us if we were ready to order, but you never gave us a chance to answer." When I ordered my sandwich, I was not given a choice of bread, but my wife was. It was only when she read back our order that I realized she decided to put my Three Stooges on a hoagie roll. Fortunately, I caught it, and for what it's worth, got the bread corrected. The best news? The poppers were good. For some reason, my wife's club sandwich only had Russian dressing and only on one side of the middle piece of toast. The sandwich was terribly dry, therefore. My sandwich, the Three Stooges, came with turkey, pastrami, corned beef and Swiss. Under what conditions would anyone ever expect this to be served cold? Oh, the outside of the bread was toasted. The turkey was icebox-cold. The remaining meats were room temperature at best. I ate one bite & pushed it away. After a bit (again, no sign of our server), the manager wandered by and asked if they were doing better. So I asked him, "This sandwich is not served hot?" What followed was an ignorant (of what menu item sat before him and of what I was asking), disjointed, and defensive reply. At one point, he told me all deli sandwiches came cold. Then he told me this was, in fact, hot because the bread was "toasted." He rounded up his ignorance by explaining how they do not use a plancha (my term, not his) to press and heat sandwiches. This was NOT a Cubano. Anyway, he took my sandwich off the bill. The meal ended with the chocolate cake. When we ordered it, our server asked "which chocolate cake?" There is only one on the menu. Uggh. The cake was dry & crumbly, but the frosting was good. As a final criticism, it is passive-aggressive & extremely individuating when the payment needs to be completed on a handheld device while the server is staring you down six inches from your face. Also, you should not put the default tips in at 25 & 28%, and also include the tax in the calculation. I CAN math, and I am not tipping on sales tax, nor has that ever been the standard practice until some recent technology apparently took this approach.

Yelp
Today's visit was made great thanks to our very attentive waitress Grace ! A must to ask to be seated in her area. And the order was custom. Made to our liking with complete understanding. And the manager who dropped by our table " just to make sure we were well taken care of". The level of customer service today was top notch and sold our visit with 5 stars! Worth a visit for sure! Just my opinion.

Nathan R.

Yelp
Service is extremely poor; waited over 25 minutes for a table ( was told 15 minutes). Waited another 10 minutes at a table with no waiter coming by to even take drink orders. Tables that were seated after us being served first were enough for us to just walk out. If you don't have kids and can sit at the bar, you will at least get served. If you have kids, don't bother with this place unless you're feeling lucky.

Whitney J.

Yelp
Pretty much the only place to get Matzo ball soup around North Houston. Which has been nice to at least have that for my Jewish deli fix , after moving away from a city where Jewish delis were plentiful and second to none. And where I lack motivation to drive down to Kenny and Ziggy's. (Which I highly recommend, only true Jewish Deli I know of in Houston but would love to know about more. If you know please let me know!) Sad to have found out after missing the bagel chips in my last 2 matzo ball soup orders that they no long carry bagel chips. I figured maybe it was a mistake and or that the employee spoken to first just didn't know. She called them NY chips which turned out to be potato chips in my order. But I called to inquire and the guy said they don't carry bagel chips anymore. What's next no pickles? Or rye bread?! Just chicken noodle soup?! Oy vey.. Glad to see that Houston isn't devoid of cultural acumen as My HEB ended up being more on board with Semitic culture and could hook me up with the goods. So don't worry about me, I'll get by. But will limit my frequency to Katz (especially when in dire need of some Jewish penicillin) as it'll require an added stop to a purveyor of bagel chips. Which is the last thing ya want to do when sick.

Yelp
Have been there several times...not a fan! Very well mismanaged....last time we got our order wrong and had to wait a long time..the manager was sitting a couple of tables away and fid not show any effort in helping the situation. We are used to the excellent food and service at their Montrose location. I even suggested to management that they should close the Shenandoah location. Nothing to say about their ambiance ....

Yelp
I've been to Katz before but mostly for to go orders. Today I decided to sit down and eat my meal there fresh and hot. I ordered a hot apple cider, stuffed cabbages with a side of potato pancakes. The hot apple cider was delicious. The stuffed cabbage rolls were great as always and this was my first time having the potato pancakes. They were seasoned well and crispy. I would definitely order them again. Katz is a traditional Jewish Deli and it always has that feel.

Yelp
Was in the area and sort of hungry but not hangry so thought a sandwich would be perfect. Lots of parking as this is in a larger mall area. The #1 is their classic roast beef with Russian dressing so had to try that. What makes no sense to me is the sandwich was 14 bucks on the menu but I was charged an extra 4 bucks for some unknown reason. So this sandwich was 18 bucks.... For that kind of money it should be an emotional (moist) experience eating that sandwich. It was ok to be fair... not $18 worth but ok.

Yelp
The worst sandwich I think I ever had. It was the monte cristo. I was so disappointed.

Yelp
Super friendly service! Fried pickles tasted amazing! Didn't really like my sandwich but not because it wasn't good but because it had too much meat. Later i found out that you can actually order something called skinny which comes with less meat, which is what I'll definitely try next time. Overall really good place to go with friends for a casual lunch or dinner.

Yelp
First time coming here. Ordered the watermelon refresher and it is good. Not too sweet just right but no refills. The service was good, our waitress Krista was very attentive. The ambiance is casual and busy and the food was good. We ordered cheese curds with marinara sauce and the spinach artichoke dip. Both were wonderful with the fresh chips. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries, wonderful flavor but not enough meat for the $$. Friend ordered the chilaquiles and said they were good. Plenty to fill up on. I do recommend trying this place out and will try other locations.

Yelp
Sigh. Katz's is known to have amazing sandwiches. In Houston, Tx., the one that popped my pastrami cherry was the Montrose location. Traveling up 45 N through the Woodlands, I saw a sign advertising breakfast at Katz's... I HAD NO IDEA! First, we were met with the smiling face of the host, who had a great personality and warm demeanor. We were seated and quickly greeted with a smile from our angel, sorry I mean waitress, Maleah! She was extremely helpful and attentive, and introduced me to my latest vice...individual Irish Creamers. Once I came off of this high, she suggested the most delicious, savory and filling breakfast, which is pictured here, the Loaded Texas Toast. I have not enjoyed a breakfast this way in a very long time. Additionally, my fiancé had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was hot and fresh, fried perfectly and remained juicy, while the waffles were fluffy and flavorful, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. I should really not be this excited about food, but this meal has earned this particular location a repeat customer... as long as I am able to sit in Maleah's section.

Yelp
First time here and when we walked in we were warmly greeted by Freddy. He sat us quickly and introduced our server Christian. Since we had never been here before we asked Christian what he recommended on the menu. My wife already knew that she wanted to get the matzo ball soup, but his recommendations included the country fried chicken, which was very delicious. Served with white gravy on top of bed of mashed potatoes. I also wanted a cup of the chicken noodle soup, but no matzo ball and that was not a problem for them. We also ordered the Potato latke or fried potatoes, which is served with the side of sour cream and applesauce so good. Overall ambience was great. Service was excellent. Food was served in a timely manner and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I would skip this place and eat literally anywhere else the service act like it's an inconvenience to serve you and the food is dennys quality at best.

Yelp
This is not a Kosher Jewish deli!! It's like I'm a glutton for punishment because I continue to go to this restaurant thinking things might be different. I ordered the scrambled eggs with lox and onions. Now I don't know what they think lox is but traditional lox is not cooked salmon; lox is a cold smoked salmon, a sushi grade salmon. It was disgusting. I repeat, this is not a Kosher Jewish deli. There are plenty of places you can go for breakfast don't come here. And if you want a Jewish deli there's a really good one in Houston it's not close to here, it's always busy but it's not like this. The ambience was fine because we were the only one in the restaurant. With that said the service was mediocre because even though we were the only ones it was still very difficult to keep our drinks refilled. I do not recommend this restaurant, ever, to anyone. Happy Fooding!!

Yelp
It's been a purr-fectly long time since I sank my paws into a Katz's Deli sandwich! The 'Meow' is no joke, packed with pastrami, corned beef, turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo on crispy French bread. Time to get my paws dirty!

Yelp
Came here for dinner to meet up with dive team. This place is basically a fancy Denny's/Waffle House, along with higher prices. The service was great, friendly & efficient. The food was ok, pricey for the types of "ordinary" food, portions, & flavors. We got the New York chili cheese fries & two-sauce pasta without meat. Thought we would get a large chili cheese fries for $13.99... well, it was just one small iron plate. It tasted ok, nothing extraordinary, definitely not "Texas size" & not worth the price. We actually preferred Sonic chili cheese fries.. . The pasta was ok portion, came with 2 garlic breads, $13.99. Meat was extra. Flavor was kind of bland for our taste, not "robust" as the menu described! 3 stars because of service & interior decor. Food-wise... not for us, there are much better options in the area, within 10-minute walking/driving distance.

Yelp
Music is Excellent. AC is ON! Really, they had 5 Stars with just music and AC. But I had to order something, right? Bagels & Lox, matzo ball soup, all paired amazingly with hard cider on tap, Eastciders. Bagel had the thinnest schmear of cream cheese I'd ever imagined, but request for more was instantly rewarded. Service was friendly and consistent.
