H Mart Grand Opens Today With Korean Food Hall | Eater San Diego

"Making its debut is Katzya, where I can get donkatsu—breaded pork cutlets that come with cheese or curry—as well as Korean-style fried chicken in wings and tenders with either spicy or soy-garlic seasoning." - Candice Woo

I placed an order and asked for no sweet sauce because I have an allergy. The food came with the sauce. I asked the owner to fix it. He refused to remove the sauce. He raised his voice at me and cursed at me. He grabbed the food from my hand, threw it in the trash, and refused to refund me. The service felt disrespectful. The behavior felt aggressive. I left without my food or a refund.

I was trying to take a picture of it, but see what had happened was, it was so delicious, I'll just drop the mic with this picture. Definitely worth the hype, definitely worth the wait and a cheese pull I haven't experienced in ages!!

I had a pretty good corn dog from this Korean Fry House at the Parkway Plaza Food Court. I ordered the Premium Beef Corn Dog or the #2 for $5.29 plus tax. The corn dog was good. The beef dog inside was tasty and the batter on the outside was crispy, although the inside of the batter could have used a little more time in the fryer. You can add a variety of toppings and sauces to the corn dog. I went with just mustard and garlic powder. It was a good flavor combination. The older gent running the counter was friendly.

Omg. The food was amazing. We got 1 potato, cheese, and sausage mozzarella on a stick. We hadn't ever had anything of this sort before so we were tentative on getting anything more. We were sad we didn't. We LOVED IT. Amazing textures and flavors to the item we got. We will definitely have to go back and get more of these. We took a picture too late but here is a half eaten almost immediately destroyed piece to look at. We will take a better picture next time. The people serving were kind, but very soft spoken so didn't get much energy from them. Took a bit of time to get the item fried up but that's OK as it was done to perfection. The atmosphere is a mall so not the best ever, but hey the price was right and the food was great. Thank you.

I eat here every week after church, because it’s delicious! But my only complaints are that the mall atmosphere isn’t that great and that they take quite some time to give you yours order. I understand that since they have to cook them right when ordered, but when you’re ordering just a single corn dog, you get quite impatient if you wait for 10 minutes just for a single item. I would love to give this place 5 stars because the food is toooooooo good, but they should look into having the place somewhere else that isn’t the mall, just so at least if we have to wait for the order, it’s in a much peaceful and nice spot

I ordered the Potato All Mozza and was very disappointed. Tried throwing on different flavors they offered at their spice station, but everything tasted so artificial. I also refused to have my corn dog rolled in sugar (despite my friend's insistence). It's apparently traditional and a common practice with Korean corndogs. The corndog was made fresh and I had to wait like five minutes for the cashier to hand me the food because she was busy at the register. The fryer man had wanted to hand it to me, but hesitated twice not knowing whether he'd break procedure. The cheese inside my corndog had begun to harden when I started eating it. Overall, my experience with Katzya was not a pleasant one. I will not eat here again.

Delicious hot and authentic k Dog I recommend the #9 for starters! I had them roll it in sugar after and I drizzled ketchup on half and sprinkled hot cheetohs on the other. I like variety. Then I got a free sprit for leaving this comment! Pretty damn pleased.

They were delicious and loved the topping variety! Will try their side dishes next time. Great prices as well!
