Had a wonderful experience overall. The vibes were warm and cozy, perfect place to spend with friends. The food was delicious, especially the Gurita Bakar Jimbaran and Bebek Goreng! The staff also incredibly humble and helpful. Special shout-out to Bli Yuda and Pak Bayu for welcoming with such warm smiles and for their kind assistance throughout my visit. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better 👍🏻 Totally worth it and definitely be coming back ✨

The restaurant has such a beautiful view! We went there in the evening and got to watch the sunset — it was stunning. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and I especially loved the crispy duck — I’m already craving it again! Also, thank you so much for the birthday cake! The staff were all super friendly and made the experience even more special💗

Amazing restaurant to taste local food. The quality of the food is top notch as well as the service. It is suggested to make a reservation beforehand. It is nothing like any other restaurant you’ll go outside. Give a chance to try the traditional food, it will not disappoint.

Amazing indonesian restaurant, which we discovered accidentally with very regional menu. (It is inside the potato head beach club) It was great food and an amazing service inside. The waiters asked for allergies and their recommendations based on our taste, which they asked us about had been on point. (E.g. that we only eat a bit spicy.) The salad with the jackfuit as an appetizer was great. The beef satay and the beeg rendang very tasty. Also the desert with the pinsang and the green tarte was amazing combined with the signiture coffee and tee. The ice cubes are from a supplier. We came 3 times to this place and it was always great. Thank you. :)

The food here is delicious, and the staff are very nice. One of the staff members saw that we ordered the yellow rice and explained its origins to us, which made me feel the warmth of being a guest at a local’s home. You can see the sunset right outside the restaurant—the view is fantastic. The king prawns were especially impressive—sour and spicy, very appetising. This dish really stood out to me because all the king prawns I’ve had in Australia were dry and fishy, but this one was completely different. The menu was also thoughtfully designed, noting where in Indonesia each dish originates from. Unfortunately, my partner started experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhoea at around 5 am the next morning after we returned to the hotel. It was very distressing. We had almost exactly the same food, with the only difference being that she had the coconut cocktail from Kaum while I had a mocktail.

I had dinner at Kaum Bali and honestly, the service was amazing! The ambience was lively with a nice background beat — not too loud, just right. Special thanks to Pak Yuda and Pak Bayu for taking such good care of us, from the moment we stepped inside, got seated, enjoyed our dinner, until the last thank you and goodbye. Super warm, thoughtful, and attentive without being too much. The Sate Banjar was a highlight — juicy chicken, peanut sauce on point. The tea with coconut jelly (forgot the name, sorry!) was super refreshing, and the Gurita Jimbaran was also really good, especially the sauce. Lovely experience overall. Really appreciate the hospitality of Kaum Bali’s team and their Indonesian specialty dishes! 🤍
