Place is great for a local dinner. Outside tables make you feel the noisy living heart of Chinatown. Skip the menu and choose directly your grill from the chart. Prices are RIDICULOUSLY LOW. We didn't see such a thing as tourist menu or price raising for tourists. Just try it.

Good food, grilled and from the menu. I had an amazing soft shell crab. Good g&t for 1000 kyat when mixed with local gin. Place gets really busy in the evening with mixed crowd both locals and tourists.

There are a bunch of BBQ shops on 19th street but we selected this one because bourdain ate here. We went with the streamed chili fish for 6500 kyat and 800 kyat draft beer. The fish was delicious, super tender with chilis and a nice broth to dip in. Outdoor seating and interesting people watching.

Great location especially if you get a street side table. Pro tip: show up before 7:30. Service is meh. Beers are nice and cold. Prices are a bit high by local standards but not ridiculous considering the neighborhood.

Interesting experience having BBQ and mojito in this street front restaurant after dark, watching people and street food vendors walking around doing business.

This place is great for barbecue, if you’re in Chinatown. The food is great and the service is also great. I had barbecue pork, chicken, and veggie skewers. They were delicious! Go with realistic expectations. None of the meat on this street is on ice and many of the buildings don’t look clean. However, places like this are authentic and better than any of the new, modern restaurants, in my opinion. If you want to see the real Yangon nightlife and eat great street food, then this is definitely the best place! I’d definitely go back if I’m ever in Yangon again.

This place seemed very scammy and more importantly the food wasn't that good. They have separate menus for locals and foreigners and highly overprice their food. For example a skewer with 3 small eggplant slices is 1,500 kyat (1usd). While we were there we heard many guests complain to the staff about the high prices on the final bill. We talked to some locals there too and they were surprised but didn't want to make a scene. Would avoid, rarely write reviews (only when really good or really bad).

Overcooked and very expensive meat ! For two people we paid 25,000 kyats for ten skewers and 3 beers... You paid the tourist price and that's a shame.. especially when you know that you can eat more than ten good meals for this price in other restaurants. We won't go back, it is a scam !
