Kausar's Biryani

I was really looking forward to trying the chicken ghee roast and was extremely shocked and disappointed when I received my order. The packet of the ghee roast was so small and was smaller than my palm size. They say 10 pieces of chicken but each chicken piece is a cube that fits a teaspoon. When I paid 475 rs I expected the portion to be worth it. Mangalore style ghee roast is full of ghee roast masala with big pieces of chicken. This was a rip off. I have attached images of everything I have described as I believe in giving honest reviews rather than exaggerated reviews. The sheer kurma or sheer again in such nano size containers. I have no issue for paying for good food but you'll have to work on your portions. Give the customer the value for their money. I hope this is taken as positive criticism and is put into practice. After seeing the portions I'm hesitant to order anything else. I checked the reviews on google and they were fantastic but completely disappointed now.

Absolutely loved the biryani at Kausar Biryani! From the first bite, it felt like pure comfort — rich aroma, perfectly balanced spices, and that authentic home-style taste that’s so rare to find. The rice was perfectly cooked, the flavors were beautifully layered, and every bite was just too yummy! It truly gives “ghar jaisa” feeling with restaurant-level quality. Highly recommended for all biryani lovers. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

Biryani never disappoints! I tried their Mughlai Murgh Dum Biryani and it was absolutely fantastic — rich flavours, perfect spices, and truly aromatic. You can taste the quality in every bite. I also tried the Ghee Ghost, which was decent, though the biryani definitely stole the show. Currently enjoying their Malai Kebab

Kausar Chicken Biryani was absolutely amazing! The taste was delicious with rich, aromatic flavors. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the spices were well balanced. I would definitely love to have it again.

Had ordered Mutton Biryani and Chicken Biryani at this beautiful tiny little shop. Safe to say I was over the moon and have only good things to say about Kausar's Biryani. The mutton Biryani is one of the most tastiest Biryanis I've ever had in my lifetime. The mutton was tender, flavourful, the rice was fragrant,fluffy and pleasing to my taste buds. The Chicken Dum Biryani too was a delight. Chicken was slow cooked, marinated with all spices and enjoyed it throughouly. All in all it has been a wonderful experience at Kausar Biryani's. It's my go to place for comfort food every week. The owners are kind,warm and friendly. That makes it even more special. Highly recommend everyone visiting this place.

I’ve been eating biryani from Kausar’s for the last 5–6 years, and it has never disappointed me. The taste is always amazing, and what really stands out is the consistency – no matter when you go, any time of the year, you’ll get the same delicious, flavourful biryani every single time. Truly one of my favourite places for biryani. 🍛✨

I visited twice earlier, now even my stay is far away l do drop in at Kausar s just to pick up their chicken and my favorite mutton briyani. The staff, the owner and his young boys are very friendly and down to earth . I would recommend this joint of Briyani house for lovers who believe in authentic stuff.
