I have not been here for about 7 years. There were (still are) not much of choices for Korean food in Peninsula. I just moved into the area. So I decided to give it a try. It was a huge disappointment. Food was hard to swallow. I would give it a one star at that time. I decided to give it another try. Mainly because I was tired of driving to Santa Clara or Sunnyvale that day. I had very low expectation. Surprisingly, Food was not too bad this time. I will not say it is excellent but at least it is average. The clear noodles were too tough. I think its soup items are good. Services were not too bad. Restaurants were almost half full on that night. I was surprised. I am glad for them. Hopefully, they can keep improving so I can come back more often. I will say their prices are pretty reasonable for the quantity and quality which is a plus.

Kaya BBQ & Tofu gives you the delightful experience of Korean barbeque at a decent price. Conveniently located at the CVS plaza in San Carlos. Your dining experience will allow you to choose whether you want to cook your own Creative and delicious dish or sit carefree and have professional staff give you table service. Great selection of Korean cuisines and spirits as well. We went home content and will definitely return! Check the pics

Very friendly service with simple and enjoyable dishes. Would have liked it even more if not for the banchan. They are standard little dishes. Wished they were more varied.

This is one of my favorite Korean Restaurants. Their hot soup bowls are the best and just tried their spicy fried chicken and it's very delicious. Highly recommend it. Not too spicy and sweet.

Place is understaffed but the one waiting us is friendly and helpful. Seafood set is limited, but most of their food on their menu are delicious. I haven't seen any beverage in their menu. Complimentary tea and water is served upon seating. Parking is easy. Must try: Bulgogi
