First thing first, I made a reservation but didn't stay at their hotel. I'm here to talk about their customer service.
I was really excited for my trip to Turkey, so Kakakapi was one of those hotels I had booked for this trip. Most almost like one week after I got all the reservations nailed, news from all main stream media around the world talking about some Korean tourists got attacked because they were conceived as Chinese. I didn't want to risk my safety for the trip, so I had no choice but to cancel all the reservation. The reservation process was very smooth, except for this hotel. First they denied they have any issues toward to Asians. After I cited the news from BBC and Yahoo news, I was told they can't refund me anything, and news exaggerate every little things. If I could highlight my review, I would highlight my last sentence. I 5 star hotel told their customer hey you know all news are exaggerating? I can hardly believe this 5 star hotel does not put their customer's concerns at first, they don't even put their customer's safety as their priority. They'd love to blind their customers. If we did go and get attacked, are you, Kayakapi, gonna take the responsibility? Anyways, if you want to trust a hotel who don't have responsibility and don't value customer's safety, then choosing them probably is a good choice.
