Kay's Quilt Shop

My favorite shop ever for so many fabulous batiks, which inspired my grandson's jungle quilt-as-you-go colors (see photo). Kay carries everything I love, has great ideas, sashiko, samples & backings. Friendly, knowledgeable owner, just a fabulous shop. You need at least an hour to absorb it all.

Wonderful store. The owners are so inviting and teach you a lot about the processes. My daughter could spend hours in there every day talking with Kay. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

My APQS training with Scott Harper at Kay's Quilt Shop earlier this week over-exceeded my expectations! To say I am thrilled with the end result is an understatement. I found the training provided by Scott to be extremely useful and it would be for anyone considering a longarm purchase, or needing a "refresher course" or wanting to learn to use and operate an APQS longarm complete your own quilt using a in-store APQS machine. I highly recommend APQS training at Kay's Quilt Shop.

This is the friendliest quilt shop I’ve ever shopped at. Everyone greeted me, allowed me to look around on my own, but also introduced me to new products, and gave me tips for a project that I did not even purchase from there. The people at this store were unbelievable. They had a large selection of batiks (almost half the store), many precuts, and really good selection of notions and supplies.

We are from out of town and thought we'd stop in. The store was pretty small and although they had lots of batiks and solids, that's not my jam. Other selections were small and not much to pick from. The workers in the shop never greeted me or offered to help because they were too busy talking. We left and drove to a quilt shop near Naples called Flash, Sew and Quilt and bought several hundreds of dollars of fabric. Don't waste your time at Kay's unless you need solids or batiks.

Kay is a very sweet and knowledgeable owner. She is very honest and creative. Her prices are comparable to other stores in the area. A shop worth supporting.

Oh where to start. This is place is AMAZING! Family owned, and operated. The highest of quality designer boutique fabrics. The most exceptional customer service I have ever received. Quality quilting, machines, accessories, ect. Plus, almost any class you can possibly imagine. Kay has created so many personalized items for us. All custom creations, made perfectly beyond anything I could have hoped for. And made with love. This is clearly her passion, her calling in life and it shows. If you are in the market for any type of quilting, bedding, sewing, designs, thread, classes, fabrics please make this your first stop. I guarantee it will be your go to shop, as it has become mine.

This shop is clean and organized. The staff is helpful and friendly. All we're wearing masks. Not a huge selection but quite a large one.

I love this shop and its owner Kay! I got great attention and benefitted from Kay's knowledge while picking fabrics for a tree skirt. There are so many fabrics it was kinda hard to choose! I won't waste my time at Joanne's anymore! Such indifference and lack of knowledge! You know what I mean when I say they just don't care!

This shop is tops! From unbelievable customer service ( I held Kay's attention for an hour) to the best boutique textiles, Kay's surpasses all others. I was "gushing" while eyeing the details that make this shop unique.A special section of unusual batik, a section of artistic quilts, a section of Shashiko and a classroom filled with sewers. Classes look like they are creative and different, but fitting for beginners and seasoned quilters. I was looking for perle thread, but because this is a new location Kay is still bringing items to the store. Well. I signed for a class, bought a kit for yet another new project and will be back sooner than later. Hope the future is bright for Kay.
