Tony and Zamir took the luxury Grand Express train from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Aboard the train, they had blini with caviar and cold pickled herring, and vodka.

Beautiful railway station used the most to go to eastern regions. Very busy station. Lots of security. There are loader services. Loaders will approach you. They charge 350 rubles per luggage. I got confused and thought 350 rubles for everything as long as it fits on their cart. So I felt robbed....it was a big misunderstanding. The station itself is big. There are many stores and cafeterias. Local trains (elektrichka) also depart from this station. Overall, nice station, just keep eyes open and don't trust much there))) Moscow, Russia

This station is linked with a subway and there are staffs on ground. It actually is a parking ground for few interstate trains. There are departure and arrival board. The station is however open and accessible to taxi drivers to come in. There are cart services and wheelchair services. Cashier and Information desk are accessible but have breaks Occasionally. There are wheelchair accessible stairs and kiosks where you can buy things to eat. There are arrows giving instructions with instruction given in English and Russian.

FOREIGNERS! first of all, I recommend to buy snacks and drinks to survive the trip because usually they are 16-30 hours long (BUY THEM IN SUPERMARKETS AS ASHAN, BILLA OR PERIKROSTAK IT WILL BE CHEAPER THAN TO BUY IN THE STATION THERE ARE MANY STORE OF THEM NEAR IF YOU SEARCH THEM BY GMAPS) The kazan railway station is one of the biggest in Europe. It's interesting how the Russians have a lot of them in Moscow, and architecturally, they are tweens one in Moscow and one in the place from the name is, so in kazan there is the same building. I don't know may be they think you get teleported there or something like that. The place is very big, you can walk and lose yourself there. Ask for your train, after that, ask for your gate, your platform and the wagon.

Not as posh as the airport, but still crowded, big, energetic. A decent toilet that cost 50 rubs or free if you have a train ticket. Many food courts.

Apart from the fact that it is cold in winter, the station has nice restaurants and has a beautiful design

One of the most beautiful metro stations I’ve been to. I visited during world up fever, so if you can sneak away into the business class lounge area, it’ll be the best decision ever.

Disgusting and humiliating place. Had to pass 3 x-ray bag scans just to get to the trains. Guards are super rude; saw them beating people with bare hands. Most places are dark, half of lights are turned off. Cops tend to stop Asian people and search them in plain sight of other passengers. Avoid this place at all costs.
