Food was good, not outstanding but good. Best part is that after paying 120 euro for that dinner on September 20, now my debit card got charged again, 80 euros, for a reservation I supposedly made in October and didn't honer. The book service charged me for a fake reservation and is sending me to solve the issue with the restaurant. But the restaurant has only a french phone and the chef doesn't speak English. So I'm sent into the woods to solve this fake change. Don't reserve a table over the Zenchef app.
Update: i need to rectify this message. Helpdesk Zenchef was extremely helpful, they explained to me the charge is coming directly from the restaurant and hey were kind enough to help me forwarding my email to the restaurant, which was super helpful because the restaurant has no listed email and the phone doesnt help much when the other person only speaks french.
As for the restaurant reply, it was pretty unprofessional if you ask me. Not only that they did not apologize at all for all the problems they created (my debit card was blocked because their charge was seen as a fraudulent transaction) but they sent me an angry email because of my Google review. For some reason me saying that the chef speaks only french was taken as an insult. I explained that was not an insult but a real impediment on solving an issue like my card being wrongly charged. It is a shame, the food was good and i rated it accordingly but the rest, the wrong charge, the hassle to reach them and the lack of professionalism in accusing me for my review, all that needs to be mentioned. Take responsibility for your actions and be professional if you wanna be reviewed like a Michelin restaurant. Michelin star is not only about food but also how that food is served and how the client is treated, it's about being an exceptional business, overall.
