What an amazing find! Our first time in this mall and so happy to find KBBQ Box. To get food like this quick is impossible and the owner Jon is super sweet. Also great prices and perfect options of sides in the lunch boxes! Also great sauces!

Stopped in and was absolutely blown away. Not the first Korean place I’ve eaten at but easily one of the best I’ve EVER stopped at! Stopped by this place to change up my usual lunch routine and let me tell you- TLDR; make sure you stop here!! Prices are reasonable and the food was awesome and definitely above the grade of “mall kiosk food court” that you might expect! (Ps do yourself a favor and get the apple milkis) The kimchi was rich, flavorful, and easily my top since my favorite place closed down. The tteokbokki was exactly what I wanted - spicy, sweet, and LOADED with cheese on top - easily my favorite from my meal today. The mochi was way more chewy than expected and had way more filling than expected too, the mini pack could easily be enough for three people! Last but not least was my dongaseu/pork cutlet , it was a good sized piece, tender, hot, with crispy breading on a bed of well cooked white rice and with vinegar drizzle on it - additionally the meal came with glass noodles which I’d never had before (I liked it!!) and a simple side salad - the omelette included was fine, not too sweet but was awesome to dip in the demiglace. I really wasn’t expecting much approaching the place - especially because mall food courts aren’t what they used to be, but this completely blew me away, absolutely adding this to my routine when I’m in the area!

Good price. Decent food. I would recommend cup bop if you aren’t sure what Korean food is and just want to try it out on a whim.

The tofu in the soondubu was so old it had become hard, and I kept chewing on bits of paper in the stew. The bulgogi meat was dry like paper, had no flavor, and honestly, I’m not even sure it was real meat. I threw most of it away after a few bites, and now my stomach feels upset—it's actually a bit scary.

*** UPDATE *** 3 WEEKS LATER I've been here 4x. Tried the chicken beef pork beef again. The price is right and the food is absolutely delicious. This place is the only reason I've been in that mall this many times in such a short period of time lol. ORIGINAL 10/11/23 I am blown away. This is tucked in where Burger King used to be in food court. I was there for chick filet and saw this place. I'm glad I turned in here to try it out. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely helpful. I went with a basic lunch box. He offered options, but I wanted to taste the baseline. WOW. The flavors are huge. The beef had very, very mild heat. Next time, I'll get spicy cause that's me, lol. The rice noodles salad the sauces just fantastic. I'll put similar meals you travel to the city for up against this place. I'll be back here again with coworkers and friends. The food portion was just right. I'm leaving full and happy

Restaurant-quality food for a great price. The owner and the employees are awesome. Excellent experience every time I go there. Always my top choice when I go to paramus park.

Nice new Korean restaurant in the food court. Tasty food selection especially if you like spicy or Korean foods. Friendly employees and fast service. Nice to have another restaurant here in the Paramus Park food court since we lost so many good places here. Price is roughly $14 for a box, no drink.

All I can say is amazing. Best fast food you can get. Visiting from CT and wish we could have this around there. I wish these guys the best of luck growing. Help support young local business. They are the best. Food was amazing spicy pork was truly spicy and they have other options too. Dumplings were perfect. My wife loved the glass noodles and reminded her of when she was young. I am excited to come back for a company training again soon. This will be the first place we go. Left full and happy. I went back and had to tell them personally how much we loved their food. They even gave a little sample to try if we were not sure.

Today's Lunch This is the first time I've ordered from here for delivery. I ordered a Beef Bulgogi and mini Mochis. Sadly, the mochis were sold out. The bulgogi box is enough for one person and some more: thinly sliced ​​beef... tender, marinated with barbecue sauce. The box comes with white rice, a small salad, an egg soufflé, and noodles (dangmyon). The order came with chopsticks, soy sauce, and salad dressing. Everything was delicious. I'm not a big fan of soufflés, but it wasn't bad... There was a special offer today for $22.90, and it was $17.36 plus tips on DoorDash. Thank you so much for everything and blessings to the team!

THE GOOD ---------------- + Filling, solid fast Korean food ++++ Beef K-BBQ Box and LA Galbi Box both came with a small portion of glass noodles, salad, egg and meets (beef / galbi) on top of rice and they were pretty good. The beef and galbi were flavorful, glass noodles were tasty and the portion of food was fair for the prices. K-BBQ Box was a bit cheaper at $10.99, while the LA Galbi was $14.99. + Menu is relatively simple as they serve either box entrees or tofu soups. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Not much as this vendor's menu is simple and straightforward. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Unfortunately, not many customers at Paramus Park's food court visit this vendor as most flock to Chick-Fil A, but KBBQ Box is definitely worth a try if you're bored of the other options.

- Korean fast-food vendor inside Paramus Park mall food court offering pre-cooked ingredients for quick takeout - Surprisingly quiet on a Friday evening during dinner - Good sized combo boxes--each comes with white rice, japchae noodles, side salad, small piece of omelet, and your choice of meat; BBQ beef bulgogi box had a decent portion of meat, but the LA galbi was a bit disappointing with more bone than meat - Decent flavor, but lacking freshness--meats could've used a bit more heat; rice was slightly soggy; omelet and japchae were served cold (perhaps intentional, but I prefer them warm); boxes come with sauce and salad dressing on the side - Service could improve--staff didn't greet us when we approached and only acknowledged us once we signaled we were ready to order - Overall--solid food court option for a quick Korean fix; fairly priced for the quality and portion size offered

I tried one of the lunch box specials during the work week. The KBBQ Box is a good deal for $10.99 - your choice of meat over rice (options of kimchi rice, plain rice, and fried rice), a little bit of greens, egg, and some japchae. Hits the spot!

Authentic quick DELICIOUS Korean food. I got the spicy chicken box. Good heat and flavor. Sides were all delicious - I don't usually like japchae but DAMN it's good here. Shoutout to the egg omelette side too. Great value for the quality, taste, and amount of food I got. I also got a chance to talk to the owner. It was very clear he puts a lot of heart, soul, and love into his food. It's been years since I've been to this mall and was surprised to find great Korean food here (and sad that the Taco Bell no longer exists). Looking forward to my next visit!

So, I went at 5:15 pm, and they are out of spicy chicken... ugghhh strike one, the girl took forever to get the order , then I asked for the kimchi and she try's to give me a little container, I said, not that the big one. I should have taken the little one, the big one was spoiled, tasted like rotten vegetables, and vinegar, and had a very off smell. The food was also not hot, the rice was almost hot, but the pork was cold, egg was definitely ice cold. Very sad indeed. great concept, POOR execution

Authentic and delicious Korean food. I wish I knew this was less than 10 minutes away from me sooner! It's going to be my new go-to spot.

Hidden away in the corner of the Paramus park mall, this is a must-try spot. At only $6.99 for a bulgogi bowl with rice and salad, I found it restaurant quality far exceeding my expectations for a food court spot. Everything I tried was hot and fresh, and I will definitely be coming back!

Great place inside Paramus Park Mall! It is located in the corner of the food court. Got the spicy bulgogi and bibimbab. Price was reasonable and food was great! The spicy bulgogi does have a kick to it so if you aren't good with spicy foods I'd ask to taste test before getting but I personally loved the kick! Will be coming back for the spicy bulgogi! The service was great as well! They asked if I wanted to add certain sauces or ingredients before hand.

The Bob bowl was a decent deal at $6.99. The Bulgogi was seasoned well when I asked for a sample before I ordered it. Then when I ordered it the employee squirted a ton of bulgogi sauce on top which DESTROYED my meal (THEY NEED TO ASK BEFORE SQUIRTING ON A BUNCH OF EXTRA SAUCE). It became far to salty and over seasoned where I could not eat it. In hindsight I should of went back and returned it or asked to make it again. Additionally, the quality of the meat and/or cut of meat was certainly on the cheaper side. Would of preferred to pay and extra $1 or $2 dollars for a more tender cut, but for $6.99 you pay for what you get. It's worth a try and I'll probably be back and enjoy it more knowing that I need to stop the extra sauce that they automatically drench on top of the food.

It's so good. I've been looking for a place like this around here since I left college and they are way better! Everyone who works there has been so nice, the food is great, and all the sauces are my favorite. I always have to ask for extra sauce because it's that good. I'm not a fan of eggs so they always do extra salad. Don't like the sauce, ask for them to hold off on it. Want an extra dressing, they'll give it to you. They are very accommodating. I keep going back! Hope you guys do well!
