Delicious food and great service! If you want to get a taste of both Korean and Japanese food this is the place to go. Great atmosphere and I especially love the decoration. The fish for the sushi was fresh and the chicken wings was perfectly fried and juicy/moist when you bite into it. I especially love their tangy spicy flavor. The fried chicken pairs perfectly with their delicious and creamy corn cheese😋

Google
Nice waitress. The chicken’s batter was crispy and not too thick. The overall chicken was flavorful and juicy. Our group also ordered the bulgogi, pork belly, and garlic fried rice. Much like the chicken, it was flavorful and prepared well. Food came out quick and hot. Highly recommend.

Finally came here after having had it on our want to go list for a while and were happy to confirm the high reviews were correct! Loved the chicken wings (even as someone who doesn’t usually like wings), which were pretty big. We got two 6-unit small (but they were pretty big) chicken wings (one tangy one soy and garlic, and loved the first one especially, though both were great). Even if your spice tolerance is not very high, try the thingy chicken wings - they’re not very spicy and really delicious. Had a sushi roll, which was solid, the pork belly Korean dish, and a seaweed salad, and were full and had lots of leftovers. Great service as well. Always paying attention and refilling our water cups. Parking was easy because there’s meters at the door. We’ll be back!

Google
Been looking forward to the grand opening of this place! Sushi was our favorite, fresh and delicious! We also ordered the chili basil and the cheese wings. Both were juicy but also salty and could be crispier. The chili basil wings tasted mostly like soy sauce and the cheese wings tasted like Cheetos/cheese balls. Not a substitute for BB.q chicken but does satisfy the craving for fried chicken if you’re in the area! Staff was friendly and dishes were reasonably priced. Would come back to try other items!

We really enjoyed this place! Wide variety of food and the price point was very reasonable as well as the portion sizes. The only downside was that the place is very small, so expect a wait during its peak hours. And our food took a long time to come out. Definitely would come back!

It's still their soft opening, but we decided to give it a try. The space is small, yet there’s a good amount of seating for dining in. The atmosphere is cool, with a mix of Japanese and Korean-inspired decor. The menu offers a wide variety, ranging from Korean fried chicken to BBQ plates and sushi, which is great since it’s a fusion of both cuisines. We tried several items, including wings (which were amazing, especially the soy garlic – perfectly coated with sauce and super crispy), tteokbokki (which had a nice level of spice, though some may prefer it a bit spicer), garlic fried rice, handrolls, spicy salmon roll, and pork belly. The pork belly was good but could have used a little more char, and the rice was a bit bland for my taste. My partner really enjoyed the sushi, mentioning how fresh the fish was. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Overall, the food was okay for me, but it's a great spot for a quick meal, especially if you're craving crispy wings or fresh sushi. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they’ll add to the menu for the grand opening!

Google
Wonderfully tender and crisp wings. We tried the Crazy Spicy Korean sauce and enjoyed it. Next time we’ll definitely be trying the Chili Thai Basil. The sushi and hand rolls are very fresh, and they have some unique options. A star of the menu is the seafood and scallops served bubbling hot over fire. A great addition to the neighborhood with fast and friendly service.

Google
A new favorite spot added to my list! This place seamlessly blends Korean, Japanese, and Thai cuisines, creating a menu that's nothing short of amazing. Every dish I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious, especially the Korean chicken—it’s incredibly yummy, with a crispy skin and a super juicy, tender inside. I can't wait to explore more of the menu. This place is perfect for any food lover. If you’re looking for a culinary adventure, this is a *must-try* destination. I’ll definitely be back to sample everything! Highly recommend!

Yelp
the second we stepped in we were met with an amazing atmosphere and warm welcomes! we were instantly seated and i swear i have never seen a menu look that good. the food tasted SOOOO good. the food took like 8 minutes to prepare and it was so warm and comforting. me and my friends finished every single thing we got: tteokbokki, tonkatsu, garlic fried rice, and gyudon. the waitress was really nice and helped us choose out what to get. amazing service amazing food! will def be coming back to try the chicken next time.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Boston! Highly recommend. Also best value for the quality! I went on a Monday night and was seated right away. There were other tables but it was pretty empty. The servers were sweet and attentive. The space is small so there's not a lot of room for your bags if you bring one. There are hooks for your jacket near the bathroom. There are no alcoholic drinks so the focus is on the food! We got a bit of everything and everything was a hit! So delicious! I love the pork belly fish and the hands rolls were phenomenal. I got the otoro and foie Gras hand rolls and they melted in my mouth! I will be coming back very soon!

Yelp
Went here during their soft opening and I walked away satisfied with both the flavors and overall quality of the food. The biggest appeal? A restaurant serving both Japanese and Korean cuisine, no more having to choose between the two! The restaurant is on the smaller side, so expect a wait if you go during peak hours. Even though I arrived slightly after lunch, there was still a 10-15 minute wait for a table. The decor immediately transported me back to Japan with intimate seating, small stools, and a strong anime aesthetic. However, the space was a bit chilly, as my husband and I found ourselves keeping our jackets on throughout the meal. Service was efficient and to the point which was impressive for a brand new spot. Now, onto the real highlight: the food. Hotate Bomb - A must-order. I always seek out this dish when I spot it on a menu, and this version ranks high on my list. Fresh seafood, creamy sauce, and served over on going fire which made for an indulgent bite. Yum Yum Salmon - The one miss of the meal. While the salmon itself was fresh, the sauce pooled at the bottom of the cabbage rather than coating the fish, leaving it underwhelming. Would not order it again. Hand Rolls - One of the standouts! The quality to price ratio was fantastic, especially compared to other places. They have a good variety. Highly recommend. Korean Fried Chicken - A hit. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. Exactly what you want from KFC. Galbi - Good quality, with a solid fat to meat ratio. Personally, I found it a bit too sweet, but that's a matter of preference. Pork Belly with Sesame Oil - A great cut of pork belly, though I wished it was crispier. Given the fat content, a bit more crunch would have elevated the dish. Seafood Sundubu with Egg - The showstopper. A rich, flavorful broth that packed a punch. As a soup lover, I'd order this every time I visit. This restaurant brings the best of both Japanese and Korean flavors together, making it a go to for indecisive cravings. While there were a couple of minor misses, the overall was impressive for a newly opened spot. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu! Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just be prepared for a wait and maybe bring an extra layer if it's cold out!

Yelp
This place is new, right next to Fenway. There is barely any parking, but it's possible if you keep circling the streets as there are plenty of meters. This place is worth it, and there are 2 other noteworthy restaurants to try (shanghai pork bun place (Overrated) and the thai place next door (very good!). This Kchicken place is not overly big but they manage to cram in a respectable number of seats. It's casual dining and you can see some of the chefs right beside you in the dining area. Service is friendly. I love the menus as they all have pictures of the food so you know what to expect and can try new things. Wings - We had the half an half of soy garlic and cheese. They were good and what is expected. I still prefer BBQ Chicken for my wings but this place is respectable and pretty good too. THe cheese wings here are nowhere near as good as the Cheeseling wings at BBQ chicken, but it was a good attempt. If i am craving wings, I wouldn't mind it here...to go along with other offerings here. Corn cheese - These are really good and should be a must try. Very cheesy and corn. Nuff said. Tteokbokki - This is one dish I'd actually pass on. I love this dish and was disappointed to see it was mostly onions (look at my pic). Flavor was meh. Nothing special, not bad...but not good or great either :). Tonkatsu - This was the pork katsu with rice. This was great. Good crisp and fresh. The pork is fried really nicely and elevated on your plate so that it doesn't get soggy. Tri don - I didn't try this dish but the family seemed to enjoy it. I'm glad to see this place open up where it has. I love the thai restaurant next door and can come here to get a quick korean fix if I wanted to mix things up.

Yelp
Things I would order again: Hand rolls - spicy scallop, otoro, foie gras Uni nigiri Chicken Wings - soy garlic & spicy crazy Korean Butter baby scallop Pork belly with sesame oil Things I would not order again: Tteokbokki (so so bad) Curry katsu Hokkaiyaki Budae jigae

Yelp
Instantly one of my favorite spots! Every dish hit the spot. My favorite was the otoro hand roll which was super creamy. The staff are incredibly friendly. The space is small but chill atmosphere with kpop bumping! The prices are -foie gras and uni hand roll also 5/5 -Otoro sashimi 5/5 ( 3 massive and delicious slices!) -Tako wasabi (5/5) eating with seaweed wrap is awesome. -Chili basil wings 4/5 ( yummy but we comparatively the other food more) -Pork belly with sesame oil 5/5 -Hostage hokkaiyaki bomb (4/5) I think I shoulda added the cheese!

Yelp
Had been wanting to try this spot, since we frequent the gyro spot next door when in the area as well as the green tea matcha joint down the block. Had some friends send social media vids and decided to pop in. I believe it's Thai owned Korean / Japanese restaurant. First I'll say i dig the vibe and the decor, mostly small tables with metal stools. Nowhere to really put your belongings except for a few jacket hooks by the restroom. The staff is very nice, and I felt was attentive refilling waters etc. the food came out quick. Ordered + NBA roll - thought it needed something crunchy maybe but the flavor didn't blow me away. + yumyum salmon was good, it tasted fresh and had their chili type seasoning on a bed of lettuce with maybe fish sauce? - this was probably the best of our dishes for me. + the soy garlic bone in wings were cooked well, chicken was moist, but the crunchy skin kind of just fell apart on ours as you eat it, more flakey then crunchy + the spicy pork Korean style dish was disappointing to me flavor wise had no depth like at authentic Korean spots. The sauce just wasn't it for my taste. Mostly veggies, had like 6 slices of pork mixed in that was slightly over. I think the spot is great for the area and I'm sure they'll continue to put out quality food. I personally just didn't feel excited about it after the meal. Will swing back by one day and give it another go! All the best!

Yelp
My partner and I shared the half & half wings (soy garlic and chili basil) and super bowl - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the sweetness of the soy garlic wings and the super bowl's combo of torched salmon and avocado TEXTURE: 5/5 - I love when fried chicken is fried well lol, especially Korean fried chicken's use of potato starch for a thin and light, but still crunchy, effect. Excellent! PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $65. Glad the super bowl wasn't any more than $13... SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - because it was fairly small. Appreciated the half & half option to try different wings SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 4:30pm on a Sunday and only a couple other parties were seated. The super bowl came out 5min after ordering, and the chicken was ready 5min after that. Our waitress was super attentive in refilling our waters ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - tight space w ~20 seats (stools), hooks to hang coats, and a bright collage wall PARKING: 4/5 - got a free street spot on Queenserry St

Yelp
First time here at this new Korean Japanese restaurant on Peterborough street!! Great experience! It's a full service sit down place which was pleasantly surprising because it's quite a small space. The menu is quite extensive with Korean and Japanese dishes including sushi. We ordered a small chicken wings sou garlic which is 6 wings. Pro tip: the 6 wings are pretty big so even the "small" is big. So if you're going to order other food then it'll be plenty. Wings were great crispy and tender meat quite flavorful. Good portion for sharing. I got the katsu curry with chicken and it was really good - crispy fried chicken with rice and curry sauce with veggies (potatoes, carrots) very savory and yummy. The hubs ordered a spicy salmon hand roll and a friend ordered the Otomo hand roll and an uni roll - they both liked them. All sushi came with these little Pasteur pipets containing sauce that you squeeze into the sushi tool. They looked like sushi tacos essentially. Service was friendly - our waters were refilled frequently. They also were totally fine with our request for two separate checks. Best thing is that the bill total at the bottom already has various totals calculated for you with various tip amounts added in (18%, 20% etc) and you simply circle the total and sign that's it!!! Genius!! They also have a custom top and total blank line for custom tip/total. We were seated all the way at the back which was near the restroom but on the plus side were farthest from the door because every thine the door opened there was a cold blast - we all kept our coats on the whole time. They do have a thick curtain in the doorway so that probably helps a little. Overall good experience will be back to try other dishes!

Yelp
KChickin is one of the best new spots around Boston. Their soy garlic wings are a MUST order. The pieces were huge, crispy, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned. I dare say this is my favorite Korean fried chicken dish in the city. Their Hotate Hokkaiyaki Bomb is aesthetic and addictively creamy, the seafood sundubu is surprisingly spicy and savory compared to traditional sundubu, and their katsu curry is comparable to ones we've had in Japan. We also got the Anago, which was good if you like eel. Because it's a small restaurant, the servers were attentive and the food came out quickly. There's Korean and Japanese pop music playing in the background, adding to the vibe and experience. Street parking is tough but not impossible to find. We'll definitely be coming back to order more Korean fried chicken and to try more things on their extensive menu!

Suha L.

Yelp
KChickin is a new Korean & Japanese fusion restaurant in Boston and it is here to stay! They have an extensive menu with both Korean and Japanese dishes. Their Korean fried chicken is one of their most popular, along with some sushi dishes!! I love the ambiance here, too. They have these two walls that are super contrasting and brings out the culture of both Korea and Japan. For food, we ordered the Spicy Korean & Chili Basil wings, spicy tofu stew, hotate scallop bomb, super bowl, super rainbow roll, and the otoro & uni hand rolls. The wings were so crispy and juicy inside and cooked well. I liked the spicy Korean better because it's spicy and sweet but chili basil was a good balance . The tofu stew was good but not as deep as I would like. The hotate bomb was so cool and full of flavor. The heat added some nice char to the edges and smoky taste really came out. Super Bowl was creative, with torched salmon on the outside and avocado crab cucumber on the inside - good temperature contrast. The roll was beautiful. Otoro hand roll was my fave and it was super tender and fresh. Uni was okay but was small and not as full. Overall this spot is a great place for trying a little bit of everything. Welcome to Boston!

Yelp
Right off the bat, the interior is small but cute. We got takeout and our food was ready in a short time. And it was delicious. The garlic fried rice with chicken had a tasty flavor of garlic and it was a comforting meal. The yum yum salmon lived up to its name. YUM. Fresh, no doubt, that dipping sauce was mind blowing. Spicy and tangy, it had so much depth. I wish they bottled it to sell. Yum, indeed. Why one star off? The plastic box in which they packed the rice was scorched? I'm not sure what happened to it but bits of plastic were coming off of it and we had to be very careful not to get any into our rice.

Lizzie Y.

Yelp
Hmm. I really wanted to like Kchickin, but unfortunately it's a no from me. KChickin is located in the Fenway area, on Peterborough St, next to a few pretty tasty restaurants. They offer both Japanese and Korean cuisine, Thai-owned I believe. Extensive menu! It was honestly pretty difficult to figure out what we wanted to order because it was a bit overwhelming with all the options. What we ordered: -Soy Garlic Wings (small) -NBA roll -Yum Yum Salmon -Spicy Pork Thoughts: Had high expectations for their wings since I saw many reviews noting how good they were. For me, I thought they were overhyped. Wish they came out more hot (in temp); was warm-ish cold. The flavor was meh. Felt like it was missing something. The NBA roll was all right. Felt this roll was missing something, as well. 3/5. The Yum Yum Salmon was probably the best thing we got. The salmon tasted fresh. Wish it was more flavorful... had to dip in soy sauce with wasabi. The sauce it came with (tasted like fish sauce with some peppers?) did not do much for the salmon. Finally, the last dish that arrived was the spicy pork. This one was the most disappointing one, I fear. Sauce lacked depth and was bland. Tasted like it was just gochujang and nothing else. It was not at all spicy + did not come with much pork either. Mostly vegetables. Don't get me wrong, I love me some veggies, but this is supposed to be a pork dish haha. The veggies were bland as well & sauce didn't help. Essentially the same as eating steamed veggies w/o salt... I thought about trying their hand rolls too, as they do look yummy in pictures and on social media, however, this meal was already enough disappointment for the day, for me. The staff was nice though!! & decor was cute! Note: there isn't anywhere to really put your stuff, like bags etc. They do have a small coat hanger in the back of the restaurant by the bathroom. Perhaps will try again in the future, but not impressed with my visit today.

Yelp
The quick version: GREAT wings. Good everything else. New Wings/Korean/Asian joint opened 11/11/24, with a small space and tight seating. Looks like counter-only but they do table service. Korean Wings: Superb. Very plump, nicely crispy, explosively and slurpily juicy. Not as spicy as promised, but definitely a tingle here and there. More importantly, good flavor throughout. Inside, the chicken meat was extremely tender (especially on the flats) and had a pronounced marinade feel along with very strong chicken flavor. Always good to taste the actual chicken under all the add-ons, and this worked. Sweet and Sour Boneless Wings: Small tenders, good meat-to-batter ratio, crisp batter, and a sauce straddling bottled Thai chili sauce and a Shirley Temple. Nothing wrong with that. Vegetable Dumplings. Solid. Nothing unique or notably positive or negative. Standard. Bulgogi: I'm not going to pretend to be an authority on bulgogi. This was a spicier version with more finely shredded beef pieces than previous ones I've tried. Some nice mushroom slices too if you're a fan. Thin, tasty sauce. Served with rice. Very strong first impression, with the wings not just good but great. NOTE: One of the owners is a social media influencer with many friends who are just going to drop 5 after 5 on the place (and she even dropped a 5 of her own, which to Yelp's credit, got moved to "not recommended" review status), so go more by photos than numbers here. But this place IS very good. More of a 4 than a 5, but very good.

Karen W.

Yelp
Kchickin has really unique Korean and Japanese food. The wings are so crispy and meaty!!! The Tangy Flakes wings stood out as a flavor we're never had and would order again! The Soy Garlic is also a good choice with crispy garlic bits sprinkled on them. I love that there's a lot of meat and onions for the Bulgogi dish. The onions bring out a natural sweet taste to the dish. The Katsu Curry is a hearty filling meal. I like that there's a good amount of sauce for each Katsu piece and rice to mix with. The Snow Crab Leg Maki was really good! Every bite has an explosion of flavor! I would definitely want to try more sushi from this menu. I love the asthetic of this place! Very modern Japanese x Korean interior design! They have a huge menu, even for soft opening, so I look forwarded to trying the rest of the things on their menu. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Highly recommend coming and would come back again.

Kylie B.

Yelp
a great place for fast and delicious Korean street bites! The restaurant is casual with only a few tables and stool seating, but has a fun and friendly vibe with lots of colorful decorations and kpop music. Service is very kind and quick! My favorite dish that I had was the boneless soy garlic chicken wings and I will definetly be back for more - super saucy, crispy, and a little spicy kick that made it scrumptious!

Victoria C.

Yelp
A fun new restaurant in the Fenway area! I came here on a Sunday right as they opened with a couple of friends. We ordered a small tangy flakes chicken wings, kimchi fried rice, yum yum salmon, and NBA roll. My favorite dish was definitely the wings with a unique spice and perfect crispiness I would love to come back and try the other flavors. The kimchi fried rice was good and not super spicy. The sushi was fresh and the service was quick. As we were finishing out lunch this place was filling up as people were waiting for tables. Overall, definitely recommend trying this place out next time you're in Fenway!

Sierra H.

Yelp
This is one of the best Korean fried chicken places that we've been to in Boston. The inside is small with not too much seating but the service is fast. We ordered the hotate hokaiyaki bomb, soy garlic Korean fried chicken wings, anago, katsu curry, and seafood sundubu. Everything was delicious, especially the katsu curry, which was extra crispy. The seafood sundubu was spicier than we expected so be careful if you can't handle spice. Looking forward to coming back to try the other wing flavors.

Sonya F.

Yelp
We came here again and somehow it was was even better than yesterday! Although they have a small dining area (only about 6 tables?), we were still seated as quickly as possible and again, service was great as usual. We tried more items on their menu including corn cheese, avocado salad, sashimi, and the scallop mixed with crab over fire. We did find that the soy garlic chicken we got today was crispier than yesterday; this was such a nice surprise to find! Their corn cheese was delicious and had more flavor than simply corn+cheese, a little salty and savory. The avocado salad was also delicious, the perfect colder dish to supplement the others. The over-fire scallops and crab was also great, it had some kind of cheesy or mayo-y taste, which I loved. Again, this second visit definitely makes me want to come back, I highly recommend!

Thanh L.

Yelp
We came during 3pm. It wasn't to busy. The service was good. Here is what we got. Korean Fried Chicken: Original Chicken Chicken, Chili Basil, Soy Garlic, & Spicy Crazy Korean . The wings were crispy with a moist inside. The sauces were so Flavorful. I can't decide which one I like.Katsu Curry .The Pork Katsu was perfect in the Curry. It was super Flavorful The Gabli was perfectly marinated. It was juicy & had a nice char. The Handrolls line up was Grilled Eel Handroll, OToro Handroll, Ikura Uni Handroll , & Foie Gras Handroll. The Handrolls had some quality ingredients. You can definitely taste it in every bite. My Favorite was OToro Handroll & Ikura Uni Handroll .The Tteokbokki was so spicy. It bring me back to Korea. The Cheese Corn was surprisingly amazing. I couldn't stop eating it. The Seafood Sundubu with Egg. Soup was spicy and delicious. Perfect for the winter . Overall, a great experience for the money. would recommend

Janna H.

Yelp
Great cozy spot for Korean & Japanese fusion! We waited about 15-20 minutes during peak dinner time without a reservation, and it was worth it. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked very well. I tried the Korean spicy chicken, but it wasn't as spicy as I expected. Everyone enjoyed their food, and it's pretty affordable for the quality. Plus, the place has a really cute vibe!

Thuy-Linh P.

Yelp
Went here for a late dinner with my fiancé since we had a craving for sushi. I ordered the Hotate Hokkayaki bomb to start (presented with a live flame in a shell) and my fiancé had the yum yum salmon which was delicious especially with the spicy sauce. For the entrees I had the Foie Gras hand roll and my fiancé had the spicy roll combo (which came with a miso soup). Everything we had was so fresh and tasty, The service was spectacular. The staff was so friendly and attentive as well as quick even though it was packed on a Friday night. I love the neon signs and wall plastered with Japanese and anime references. Highly recommend, we will have to come back to try the Korean options next time!

Meredith A.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from KChickin and it was wonderful! I had been looking for super crispy chicken that wasn't too spicy for me, so I ordered the original plain. It was perfect! Nice and crispy and juicy.

Sonia W.

Yelp
Super cute new restaurant in Fenway! We went during their soft opening on a Saturday afternoon and got seated quickly. Service was friendly and food came out FAST! Highly recommend the Tangy wings. They were hot and crispy 10/10! Otoro and foie gras uni hand rolls were also delicious. NBA, Super Rainbow, and Snow Crab rolls were different and also yummy! Will definitely try their hot entrees next time!

Julia L.

Yelp
- super welcoming and friendly staff who was more than happy to help - I loved the wall art! It's a Japanese and Korean restaurant (not fusion) so the Japanese posters on the wall gave such a retro feel with the modern neon Korean characters in contrast - food was so good! The chicken wings were pretty big and perfectly fried. You could actually taste the chicken and it wasn't overwhelmed with batter. Wings had a lot of meat on the bone as well - hard rolls were PACKED with fish - hotate unexpectedly had a lot of scallops and kani inside as well!

L H.

Yelp
All of the food was very flavorful! The wings are a must have with it's light, crunchy, and meaty pieces. Inside the store, decor is obviously well thoughtout and the workers are very accommodating! Would definitely come here again!

Alyssa M.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I was really pleasantly surprised. We got the lobster roll, soy garlic chicken, seasoned fries (SO good it's kinda lemon-y), Super Bowl, the hotate haikkoyaki bomb, and yum yum salmon. Everything was really yummy and so beautifully plated! Service was a little slow. Our appetizers came out quickly, but chicken took a bit. Though chicken was really yummy it was so crispy but also really juicy inside. It was also really busy though so very understandable. The employees were so attentive! It also has a really cool ambiance and coat hangers!! That was awesome. The bathroom was clean and single stall :)

Lisa T.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Love the combination of Japanese and Korean dishes. The servers were attentive and food came out fast. We went on a weekday for lunch, there were plently of parking. Loving the vibes and the decors!

Flora T.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Just small thing, they space and the table is quite small, and the food served in big plate which looks nice and yummy, but for the small space , I don't think it's ideal. I would love to come back.

Pag M.

Yelp
Just wow this place brings in Korean and Japanese flavors together and it is amazing. My favorite was Hotate Hokkaiyaki Bomb and Super Bowl. The service was great she was very nice. I went during late lunch and it wasn't busy. I would say the place is a bit small but it has cozy vibes to it. Shout out to Jake one of the chefs for letting me record a video of him making sushi. Definitely will be back to try more dishes.

Chirag M.

Yelp
Got mostly sushi rolls and appetizers for take out, and I have to say I was impressed. Quality and taste were both spot on. I'd definitely come back here and try the fried chicken.

Chris V.

Yelp
I prefer my chicken wings on the crispier side and these soy garlic wings were at that level. Shop has pretty cool art on the walls and had K-pop playing while I was there.

Dan P.

Yelp
The food was delicious, the service was very nice, and the price was excellent. There are rarely places like this in Boston. I would recommend this restaurant for a casual night.

Yelp
Wow, what a great restaurant! Everything we tried was great. The wings with tangy flakes is reminiscent of a spicy lemon pepper. The chicken is fried to perfection, has the crunchiness of a good Korean double fried chicken while inside is still moist. They use a great quality corn that's crunchy and fresh- the corn cheese is cheesy and sweet, just the way I like it. Sashimi and raw fish were all very fresh- I felt the hand rolls were great quality for the price. There's not one item I had that I wouldn't get again. There's only thing I would do differently next time is bring more people so I can try more things on their menu!

Yelp
we went to kchikin on a friday night at 7pm. we got seated right away, but there was a wait right after we were seated and got pretty busy. we got the tteokboki, rainbow roll, spicy salmon roll, and yum yum salmon. the food was good, nothing to go crazy about, but not bad! prices were very reasonable.

Yelp
Food was delicious! We had a little bit of everything from their fried chicken, kchikin Don, soon dubu, and handrails. I think their best item on the menu was definitely the handrails. The fish was super fresh and the flavors were great. Would definitely come back again to try more of their menu!

Yelp
Amazing food and service. The foie gras was amazing and the sea urchin tasted very fresh. Will come back again!

Yelp
This spot is officially one of my favorites for soy garlic wings--they're absolutely amazing! The sushi was delicious too, but the real standout for me was the Hotate Hokkaiyaki Bomb--an unforgettable bite. The store's aesthetic is super trendy and unique, and the service was fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Everything was delicious! The ice cream with cinnamon waffle isn't on the menu yet. The owner made it for us today as a test menu item! Forgot to take pictures of the other stuff because we got hungry (corn cheese, kimchi soup, kalbi, garlic fried rice). Definitely give everything a try if you're there!

Yelp
Great new Korean and Japanese restaurant. Korean spicy crazy wings were especially tasty and plump. Great crunch. Sushi was very good with a twist. Flavors were different from traditional sushi. I nice change. Service was great for a small place. A must try.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the tangy chicken. Great food overall. The service was really good and the food came out fast for a large group of people. The crunch of the chicken was super nice. The place is nice and cozy and the decorations were on point. There was more food but forgot to take pictures of.
