Google
Soooo good!!! Took our chances off the map after a day at Sea World. Amazing fresh food! Had the mezze platter and loaded fries, everything tasted super, and the Baklava… I would come back just for that.💜

The Calm O.

Google
Great little spot. I recommend the plate. You get 2 sides plus rice and salad meat of your choice and a pita. I add as many extras as possible. Make sure to order extra of whatever sauce you like. They shouldn't limit you on the number of sauces the food is food but dry so it needs a lot of sauce.

Alicia Y.

Google
I got the beef shawarma plate and it’s SO good! The naan is warm and fresh. I also liked the sauce and the hummus. Will definitely go back.

Google
I ordered the yummy chicken kabab bowl, Christopher helped me and he was so funny, accommodating and chill with it being my first time and taking my order. Super cool spot and the food was incredible! I’ll be back for sure.

Google
I loved their kebab plate. Lots of veggies! Love the sides and toppings. All super fresh, flavorful and plenty. I also got the baklava and it was crunchy, chewy, sweet good. High recommend this place. Yum.

Google
Yo this spot is legit! Came here on a whim and wasn’t expecting much but damn… food was fire. I got a kebab plate with chicken and beef and it was juicy af. Like, not dry at all which is rare for places like this. The rice was seasoned real nice too, not just plain boring rice. Staff was chill, the girl at the counter was super patient even tho we took forever to decide lol. Prices are solid too, def worth it for the portions you get. Only thing is, place gets kinda busy so be ready to wait a few mins, but honestly that just tells you it’s good. If you’re in the area and craving Mediterranean food, def hit this place up. 10/10 would eat again.

Google
Food and gyros are too salty. I've been in Europe and middle east for past 5 years, never have tried real gyros with so much salt. Ended up not finishing my meal. Service was great. Friendly and quick. Good location in Liberty market

Google
Christopher was great! He gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. Great atmosphere as well as outdoor seating. Perfect location.

Yelp
When I say that this is the best place in all of Liberty Station market to eat I am 100% saying this is the best place to eat in all of Liberty Station market 100%! The food is absolutely spectacular. The price point is absolutely affordable and the quality of the food is top notch 100% Also, the staff here is absolutely spectacular. Their service is top-notch next level. Shannon was spectacular. Charles is one of the best cooks ever and he's like super amazing! Such a GEM at Liberty Station!

Yelp
OLIVES. OLIVES. OLIVES. black olives. Got the Chicken Shawarma plate with lettuce and the basic topics along with chickpeas, hummus, and...olives. First of all, it was mostly great. The shawarma was perfect and everything else was fresh and nice. (Except for the olives.) The pita bread was delicious. And the service was excellent. I would have included a photo, but I was starving and had already half-way finished this food before I sat down to write a review. However, what Mediterranean restaurant puts BLACK olives on a Greek salad? Maybe this is my fault, as the menu board simply states "olives" and I didn't think to ask, because I have never, ever ordered a Greek salad that included black olives. The blandest, most pointless olives that exist, the kind of olives that always taste like they came out of a can or jar. At first I tried to tolerate them, but they were so distracting, I finally just picked them all out. Kalamata olives, or even any kind of green olives, would have worked better here. LABELING the olives on the board as "black olives" would have worked better here. And then I wouldn't have ordered any olives! (I know, I didn't order a "salad" - but the shawarma plate with lettuce and those specific toppings is basically a salad.) Finally, another thing that would have worked better here would have been me ordering this plate SANS OLIVES. So I guess I know that now.

Yelp
I finally made it to the Kebab Craft. I am a kebab fan but for this visit, I ordered the chicken shawarma pita sandwich. I heard good things about the pita bread they use and it did not disappoint. When you order the pita sandwich, you choose you protein or falafel, and your veggies and sauce. I went with chicken, lettuce, red onions, black olives, chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, and feta cheese with the tzatziki sauce. It was a very good sandwich. My favorite parts were the tender well seasoned chicken shawarma and the super soft tasty pita bread. It was one of the better pita breads of experience in San Diego. All the ingredients in the sandwich were fresh and flavorful. I liked that they put a good amount of feta cheese in the mix, but just a little more chicken would have been nice. Oh yes, they need to make sure they check their sauces before they serve them. The tzatziki sauce was broken and should of been creamier. The service was friendly. This location is in the Liberty Public Market so there's plenty of parking and seating available.

Yelp
Inside of Liberty Station Market picked up lunch and their menu looked good! so first you choose your base Pita Sandwich, Bowl or Plate... I picked the Plate that comes with rice or lettuce and 2 small sides , then your protein I picked the chicken kebabs lil on the salty side and not overly cooked great! for my sides I did pick Falafel 2pcs and Hummus & pita DELICIOUS! They also have desserts and drinks , Chef Creations like loaded fries, messe platter , greek salad and a burrito check it out!

Yelp
This was legit amazing. Probably some of my favorite Mediterranean food I've had in San Diego. Flavorful, healthy, and plenty of customizable options. Quick and easy.
google avatar

Yelp
Disappointed with this place. I saw an instagram ad and the wrap looked SO GOOD. Mouthwatering! I popped into Kebab Craft hoping to get that same experience but the meat wasn't very flavorful and tasted very dry. They gave a lot of fries which was nice and the staff was really friendly but in terms of the star of the show, the kebab, man, I was really let down Sadly I wont be returning here
google avatar

Stanley T.

Yelp
Ordered a plate of their chicken kabob and the order was taken by someone very knowledgeable who guided me through the entire process. There was a lot of food and everything was delicious. A plate has two sides and other staples like pita bread and rice so plan to share unless you are really hungry.

Yelp
I got to try Kebab Craft when in San Diego and this was an awesome experience! Me and the hubby decided to share the Cali Chicken Shawarma burrito and t was really good. The flavors were top notch and it all went really well together. The service was also fast and ambiance casual as you would expect in a food hall kind of place. Would definitely get this again and love the choices of different sauces it comes with!

Yelp
As a Mediterranean food aficionado, I was unfortunately disappointed by the presentation and quality of the food. Although the Cali Kebab Wrap was a creative California twist on a Mediterranean item, the Gyro meat was of a lighter color than traditional Gyros, possibly due to not cooking the meat on the grill following shaving it off the rotisserie. Other than the Gyro meat and French fries, there were virtually no other toppings to speak of in the wrap. This menu item has tremendous potential, so with a few tweaks, I'm sure they will create a superstar. The Greek Salad was overbalanced with way too many onions. It was more of a Shirazi Salad than a traditional Greek Salad, as the red onions overwhelmed the palette. They could easily go with 1/3 of the amount of chopped onions in this salad. The dressing was unfortunately another miss... I have never tasted a balsamic dressing that I didn't like, until this one. It was a bizarre thick syrup that had a strange taste. A simple Greek Vinaigrette or EVOO + red wine vinegar + herbs would have sufficed. A simple fix... The Chicken Kebab Plate was an extremely disappointing experience, unfortunately. I hate to be so harsh, but this was really a hodgepodge of weird ingredients and foul tastes. We asked for grilled vegetables and received some conglomerate of fajitas style grilled bell peppers and onions. Then, there was another installment of the Shirazi Salad dumped on top of the rice. The presentation seemed rather thrown together... Sadly, the pickled jicama was absolutely awful. As a foody who loves different tastes of international foods around the world, the taste of this purple pickled potion was like a piece of bad medicine. Finally, although the premium pita bread, hummus, and baklava were good, overall there is plenty of room for improvement for Kebab Craft in order to live up to the California-Mediterranean fusion theme that gives them a unique niche in the Southern California food scene. I'm excited to see how they will refine and develop over time!

Yelp
I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures so apologies for that! The food at Kebab Craft was great, but the service was even better. I got a custom bowl, which was the perfect portion for one, plus a side of pita. A little on the pricey side. Definitely try the spicy red sauce it's actually spicy but pretty delicious.Lots of competition in the food hall if I'm in Liberty Station again and want some Mediterranean food, I'd absolutely go back!

Yelp
Quick and great service. Good options to pick from and meal combos. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma pita sandwich that was fully loaded with all the toppings and harissa and chipotle sauce. The fries were thin and loved it. Overall good food. Would love to try their Cali wrap next time as it loooked really good.

Yelp
Chicken Shawarma Taco for $3 for Taco Tuesday is amazing. My wife and daughter also love the food here. It is amazing! Also, Christopher was so friendly. He greeted us in a very kind way, gave us space to decide what we wanted, while letting us know that he was ready to serve us when we were ready. I was VERY IMPRESSED. We sat nearby and enjoyed our food. I kept an eye on him, and saw that he wasn't just nice to my family, he was consistently providing EXCELLENT customer service. It made me wish I could hire him for my business!

Yelp
*DoorDash Review* Kebab Craft is one of the reasons why I love Mediterranean food so much. It's flavorful, healthy, and delicious! I was in San Diego for a trip and I didn't have time to step out for lunch so I ordered through DoorDash. This place had raving reviews on every platform so I needed to see what the hype was about. I ordered the gyro plate which was absolutely delicious! I got it with a rice base, greek salad, and hummus. I think they messed up and gave me extra rice because I only got a small scoop of hummus. Nonetheless, it was still a great meal. The flavors and all the veggies were so fresh. I also opted for the garlic and creamy cilantro sauce which I loved! The cilantro sauce was light on the flavor but the garlic one was really garlic-y. The pita bread was one of the best I've ever had. It was warm, soft, and slightly chewy. I could rave about this place for days. Highly recommend Kebab Craft!

Yelp
Came here and got the beef shawarma plate. All I got was burnt scraps I was wondering why they packed so much salad with rice and it's to hide the little meat. Not worth the money and would not come again.

Randy D.

Yelp
The taste of the chicken shawarma meat is too far from its taste. Been in the middle east for 8 years, and tasting shawarma around California from North to South. Your spices are not even there! Likewise the garlic sauce is not even done the right way. The oil separates from the mixture.

Yelp
This place is a food stall at Liberty public market that I just happened to pass by. I only ordered the falafel as a side dish, it came with two free dips. The falafel came out crispy on the outside and warm and tender inside. It took a while for the food to come out but when it did, it's pretty good falafel. It wasn't the best I ever ate but it's good. There are tables nearby the area of the stall.
google avatar

Yelp
I love Liberty Station, and Kebab Craft is an excellent addition! I had the Gyro bowl loaded with all of the fixings over rice. Everything was fresh, and the portion was very generous. It was busy, and the two person team was taking care of business nicely. Food came quickly with a smile and have a nice evening with a smile. It's definitely worth a try if you are in the area, an easy 5 stars!
google avatar

Rodge B.

Yelp
We stopped at Liberty Station Market for a small bite to eat after checking out Cabrillo Monument at Point Loma when we were in town for AU 2024, and the chicken shawarma was great. I love the garlic sauce and tzatziki. The mint tea was not what I was expecting, but it was refreshing. It's a shame the market is at the west end of the San Diego International runway where the planes take off. Holy shit those planes are low! Has one ever crashed!?
google avatar

Bri F.

Yelp
Came to Liberty Station for lunch and gave this spot a try. The girl at the register was super friendly and broke down the menu. Went with a bowl with falafel, all the toppings, and the tzatziki sauce. The food came out quick and it was delicious! Highly recommend trying Kebab Craft out!

Yelp
great spot in liberty station. ordered the plate with beef and it did not disappoint. will be back!

Yelp
The flavors are excellent!! I got the build your own salad bowl with the chicken swarma. So good!! Lite yet filling. And the service was amazing! I highly, highly recommend this establishment. And there's really comfy seating.
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
Located in the market at Liberty Station. The market gets pretty crowded and noisy, but Service is quick so that you can find an outside table asap. I got the chicken wrap - very well seasoned, chicken was juicy. I think I prefer Cava a little more for the value, but Kebab Craft's chicken definitely has better flavor.
google avatar

Sean H.

Yelp
After stumbling through the cacophony of choices in Liberty station we settled on Kebab Craft, it's a good option! If you've been to Cava this is a very similar concept. I loved the portion sizes, and huge fluffy warm pita! My eating partner got the loaded fries and enjoyed them. Minus a 1/2 star as we both found pickled radishes were a bit odd and would have loved pickled onions instead! :)

Yelp
They may be bad at picking a business name, but Kebab Craft makes a mean gyros plate. I've been on a many-year search for the best gyros in San Diego ever since my favorite gyros place closed down, and while I can't say that Kebab Craft is AS good as my dearly departed Western Steakburger, it's a pretty damn solid substitute. Located in the Liberty Station Public Market, it's easy to miss, as it doesn't sit in the middle of the chaos, but in a side hall connected to the center of the market. I ordered a gyros plate on a bed of rice, which comes with warm pita. You have a choice of, I guess you could say toppings, of which I added red onion, cucumbers, feta, pickled turnip, and hummus. The red onion, cucumbers, and feta are tiny bits thrown in, while the pickled turnips and hummus portions are more substantial and added some nice different flavors to the mix. I opted for tzatziki and garlic sauces, both of which were well done, along with sides of fries and falafel. The falafel was among the best I have ever had, with a nice satisfying crunch and good flavor. As for the main event, the gyros, they were definitely among the better I have had. I'm not sure why more places don't grill their gyros after slicing it like Kebab Craft and better Greek restaurants do, because it makes a world of difference. So glad I gave this little spot a try. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
La comida es excelente, pedimos kebab y los ingredientes muy frescos. La atención de los empleados fue muy agradable.
google avatar

Yelp
I was at liberty Public market a few weeks ago, looking for a place to eat and just stumbled upon this one when I thought I'd seen all there was to see. I remembered seeing them online and decided to try them out. I got the Cali burrito I suggested in the video I saw and I was not disappointed. I wish I took a better picture , I feel like this one doesn't do it justice, but the burrito was so good. I picked the cilantro sauce and I thought it was a great pairing. It took a little bit of a wait to get it as they were very busy. All in all, I was a good visit
google avatar

Calvin S.

Yelp
Tried Kebob Craft for the first time this evening and i can honestly say. The veggies are fresh and the protein (chicken shawarma) was moist, favourably. Now the customer service the gentleman that took my order was patient assisted me in deciding on what to get. Overall I'll be back. Sorry no photo, ate my food before i realised i didn't take a photo. Thank you.
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Solid spot with the authentic meat that gets shaved off the spit. Workers were super nice. The pita bread was great and food tasted fresh. I've had more flavorful schwarma before but it is a solid spot. The tzatziki was different than I was used to but it was okay. Not much flavor in it. Orders come out super fast.
google avatar

Dion C.

Yelp
Came in Sunday afternoon, Beef schwarma meat was overly burnt! I simply asked for a replacement after eating burnt meat for awhile and then was told "that they only serve fresh", seems like they weren't willing to admit that burnt meat taste bad. I can obviously see the burnt end from the rotisserie into the kitchen. The response was a little upsetting/annoying but they replaced it after a couple minutes. They should just replace the whole stack when it gets that dry and overcooked and work on customer service. If I pay something, I don't want a burnt version of it, the other ingredients were good though Edit: thanks for the response and apology! Yeah it's confusing when 3 people were there and they didn't really confirm if they were actually going to do anything about it until placing something on the counter, so I was waiting to see what happened
google avatar

Dary P.

Yelp
One of the top options at Liberty Station. I love getting the chicken shawarma bowl. You have the option of rice, salad, or half/half (if you ask) followed by your choice of toppings and sauce. The only sauce I've tried is the tzatziki sauce. Not a thick sauce so I always ask for extras. They are very generous with the toppings and I always have leftover to take home. It also comes with a side of pita bread. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Came to Liberty Station Public Market and came to Kebab Craft. I got the Pita Sandwich with Chicken Shawarma. I choose all the toppings except onions and pickles. The Chicken was tender and had a nice char to it and was freshly sliced of the rotating spit. The pita was fresh and soft with a nice toasty exterior. I chose garlic and harissa sauces and they were awesome! The garlic was nice and pungent and the harissa gave it a good spicy kick. Theres lots of parking in the surrounding area for Liberty Station. Service was very friendly and helpful. I took the food to go and ate it at home and everything still held up, the pita didn't get soggy, the veggies remained crisp. I'd want to try the Loaded French fries next time. A Mediterranean version of carne asada fries.
google avatar

Frederick D.

Yelp
Conveniently located at the entrance. You can see the delicious meat spinning in the kitchen. They have a kids meal for $9.
google avatar

Bev M.

Yelp
Kebob Craft is conveniently located by barracks 14 at the boat entrance. Jessie was super helpful and friendly! Food is amazing, wish they had more locations. The bowl is huge, with tons of amazing toppings, definitely get the pickled turnips.
google avatar

Kai W.

Yelp
Delicious meal that hit the spot. I love all the toppings you can add and the sauces pair well with the food. Service was very welcoming and kind as well! AND THE BAKLAVA IS AMAZZZZING! Love the larger chunks of pistachio pieces. It tastes so fresh and amazing.
google avatar

Tera M.

Yelp
I like the concept picking all the many offerings. I had Gyros plate the veggies super fresh, you get a large portion of rice enough for 2 meals. Gyros flavorful however a tad overcooked on some pieces. I will return to try the chicken it looked delish a friend had it.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Bring back the beef shawarma please!!!! I'll pay extra! This used to be my favorite spot and no other places compared....yet. Hopefully beef comes back I need it in my tummy
google avatar

Brandon Roy S.

Yelp
Delicious food, and great service. The line is always long for a reason. It's a great choice at the public market if you're looking for something healthier.
google avatar

Dung N.

Yelp
Kebab Craft is located inside Liberty Public Market. I chose the plate and hubby got the pita sandwich. He added beef shawarma, avocado, lettuce, red onion, banana peppers, harissa sauce, and chipotle sauce as well. For my plate, I chose the lamb and beef shawarma for my proteins because I couldn't decided LOL. Then I added all my favorite toppings and chose my sauces. My plate was really loaded and full of flavor. I liked that it came with two sides, so I chose fries and the falafel. The side of pita bread was thick, warm, and fresh! For drinks, we tried the hibiscus juices, which were refreshing and had an earthy flavor to it. I came back another time to try their pita sandwiches, but I prefer their plates a lot more.
google avatar

Breanna W.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out because I saw a man in my building wearing a shirt from this restaurant and I was deeply unimpressed that I wouldn't even try it. I'm glad my dog ate the meat part but the rest of the over $20 meal went in the trash as it was not even cooked and I'm not just going to eat plain onions when I ordered veggies, the "meat" was chopped in tiny pieces resembling crumbs, which completely threw me off as well. I would never go back not even if I was paid millions. San Diego has many better places that actually cook the food and don't serve tiny crumbs and call it "meat", this clearly isn't one of them. 0 stars if I could.
google avatar

Bao P.

Yelp
Located in liberty public with a lot of other stores, but this spot stands out from the rest with its offerings. The cashier was friendly and the kitchen and its staff look orderly. Ordered the gyro pita sandwich and Moroccan mint tea. Overall will definitely try again.
google avatar

Ros A.

Yelp
First time coming to Kebab Craft. I came shortly after they opened which was a great time since they weren't too busy. They have a few tables right in front of their counter. They're also right by one of the entrances so there's several tables just outside. Ordering is easy. You pick your style, pita, plate, or bowl. Then your protein (gyro, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, beef kebab, falafel, grilled veggies), toppings, then sauce. I decided to try their Chef Creations. I got their Greek salad with chicken shawarma and their Cali wrap with gyro. They shaved the meats (from the trompo) and freshly prepared the order. Their Greek salad had a lot of fresh veggies and the wrap was stuffed. For dessert we got their Nutella pita. They're a great new addition to the Public market. I really like their location and space they have. Easy customizable meals with healthy options.

Trish S.

Yelp
Thank you so much Christopher and Jesus for the amazing service!! I had a wonderful time! The food was incredible! See you soon;) MaMa

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with Build Your Own (BYO) food items. I love the flexibility to do whatever I want, but sometimes my brain and taste buds don't match and I overdo it and get too many conflicting things! can anyone else relate? This place is primarily a build your own, but thankfully it looks like the items would all taste good together if you happened to put a little ov everything on there. It's pretty straightforward: Pick a dish type (pita, salad, plate), then your protein, then your toppings, and finally your sauce. They make the pitas fresh, you can watch the pita grill in the back do its magic. It comes out perfectly sturdy enough to hold a ton of sauce and toppings, yet soft enough to bite through. I made a Gyro+Cilantro one and a Chicken+Harissa one, plus some tzatziki and garlic sauces on the side. I liked the gyro more probably because the cilantro sauce allowed more flavor of the meat and veggies to come through more than the harissa. There are a lot of food options in Liberty Station, but this should be a great option when you're hungry and looking for something fresh.
google avatar

Veronica B.

Yelp
Great service and easy to order. Added 2 chicken kebabs to rice plate for just $4 more.

Cristhian A.

Yelp
Cali Kebab is really good -- all the ingredients are very fresh and full of flavor. Val and Jeff helped me out -- excellent service. This is definitely a place you have to visit if you come to River Street Marketplace
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Excellent option if you're debating what to eat at Liberty Station! Tried them for the first time over the weekend and was surprised how much I enjoyed the Gyro Bowl I got. Packed full of toppings (your choice), delicious garlic and creamy cilantro sauce, and plentiful gyro slices to go along with everything. Service was also friendly and food came out super fast. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their Papaya Hibiscus Lemonade (not enough flavor for me), but I would definitely not mind grabbing another bowl in the future!
google avatar

Emmett T.

Yelp
Kebab Craft is one of the vendors in the newly expanded wing of Liberty Public Market. The cuisine is fast casual Mediterranean with a build your own type of pita, bowl, or plate. There were four proteins and two veggies, a dozen toppings, and five sauces to select from as steps two through four of the process. Four Chef Creations were available if you wanted an item with preset ingredients. A plate could be served with rice or lettuce and came with two small portions of sides. I asked for rice to go with the beef shawarma. Grilled veggies and hummus with pita were my two sides. The takeout container was bursting at the seams as the kitchen was generous with the amount of food. The pita bread was provided in a separate bag. I could have easily used a second oval piece to help sop up the hummus that was provided. The beef was okay, I've had better. The char from the veggies imparted a noticeable smokiness. The value here was very good as I have paid 20% more elsewhere for a similar plate that had fewer components. The worker who staffed the register was polite and pleasant even as closing time was near. I enjoyed my experience at Kebab Craft to give them a four star rating.
google avatar

Fahren F.

Yelp
The papaya hibiscus lemonade was great!! Very refreshing. Service was excellent. Everything was tasty

Natalie S.

Yelp
Portions ample that's the plus! The food hmmmm so many great ratings I had to try it the rice was terrible not the typical saffron rice I'm use to at Greek Restaurants like panini kebab grill & Luna. The gyros meat not tender or juicy but overlooked and dry. The pita thicker more bready then most pita. The guy at the register super nice smiles however the woman with the nose ring looked miserable like she would rather be anywhere but there. I would not return with the many other options at Liberty Station.
