"As the name of this restaurant suggests, there are plenty of kebabs to choose from on this extensive menu. Other popular dishes include chicken biryani and mutton karahi." - Grace Cassidy, Candice Woo

Google
The staff is really good and helpful. Since we were trying this resturant first time the staff helped us with the food suggestion. Food was good specially there tandoori roti. Definitely worth trying.

Bobby Ayub

Google
The service was great and friendly from the beginning. I went especially to Kababish to try their weekend breakfast. I had Halwa Puri with channa. The food came fast and it was delicious. I also ordered dood patti tea. I wish they had a branch downtown. Atmosphere was OK.

Google
We visited San Diego and looking for halal Pakistani restaurant and found Kebabish. We ordered several dishes such as Chargha, Nihari, Beef seekh Kabob, chicken Biryani. All of the food were good taste, chai was karak and hit the spot.

Sarai Zaragoza

Google
Food is exquisite!! The food tastes so fresh and homemade! Best pakistani food in san diego!!! Service is always great. The atmosphere is good. They have music playing or sometimes food shows. Im a repeating customer <3 Must try mango lassi and their chai tea

Google
Went to get takeout, got 2 rolls, 2 samosas, 1 chicken tikka fries. All came in under $50 which was very reasonable. Place was very clean and the person gave us water while we waited and also put on TV for us. Thoughtful! The food was great! Highly recommend.

Kiran Shaukat

Google
I wish I could give the food more than 5 stars! We had the Beef Nihari, Mutton Karahi with Naan Boneless Mutton Pulao… each dish tasted authentic and delicious ( and I’m usually very very skeptical about restaurant food). We also loved the portion sizes. Kababish is a Gem! I came back after 2 years and everything has gotten better if that’s even possible.

SANA SHIREEN KHAN

Google
The best hand slaughtered Zabihah halal restaurant in San Diego ! You will never be disappointed with the food! We particularly enjoy all of their kababs and the chicken tikka masala. Their garlic naan is to die for. We go there at least twice a month and the quality of the food is always top notch. Best staff and extremely friendly owner. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Google
The food was EXCELLENT, with the correct amount of spices. It was a pleasurable experience having dinner with friends at KEBABISH. The staff was friendly, patient, and very attentive. Chicken Tikka Masala was outstanding. Beef Seekh Kebab/Chicken Karahi/Chicken Kebab /Nihari/Mix Daal/Tandoori Naan/Garlic Naan was delicious. We loved every single dish. I highly recommend this to people looking for good Indian/Pakistani food.

Sarai Z.

Yelp
Like always never disappoint Service is great. The server was super attentive. The ambiance is good. They have pakistan music playing and sometimes on the tv shows of pakistan street food. Must try desserts: Tea and the mango lassi

Yelp
Kebabish is in the same plaza where Natsumi Sushi & Seafood Buffet (formerly Savory Buffet) is located. The suite used to be a flower shop. It was neatly decorated and had a dining capacity for about 40 customers. You had to walk past a long internal window to the left that showed the kitchen preparation area before you encountered any seating. Parking spaces were rather limited in the shared lot out front so finding a spot could be difficult during meal times. I was in the Miramar area to run an errand and stopped by for an afternoon meal. At the time, a special lunch time menu offered a choice of one 'Curry & Salan' item, one BBQ item, one Vegetarian item, white basmati rice, a basket of plain naan, and a fountain drink for a discounted price. I chose the following... * Aloo Keema - Ground beef, potatoes, herbs & spices * Aloo Palak - Curried spinach and potatoes with melted butter * Chicken Reshmi Boti - Barbequed boneless chicken marinated in a blend of yogurt, herbs & spices The server never asked what spice level I wanted for my dishes. I guess he assumed mild because that was how they were prepared. I probably would have requested that end of the spiciness scale anyways. What stood out from these choices was the chicken. Normally, I encounter boneless chicken that is overcooked and dried out at many South Asian cuisine restaurants. That was not the case here as the chef did an excellent job of barbecuing the meat while retaining sufficient moisture. My one concern was the serving size of the two Aloo items. They each came in a vessel that was smaller than I had hoped. The flavors were good, but the quantity should have been increased as part of the lunch time promotion. Besides that, the rest of my experience at Kebabish was at a four star level.

Yelp
Great authentic Pakistani food. Nihari, haleem, aloo keema and mutton karahi are the go to dishes here. Very tasty.

Yelp
The food was delicious and it came very quick Definitely would come again Server was nice allowing us to eat almost closing time All the food we ordered we amazing

Yelp
This place is slowly becoming a staple for me. I've ordered the Lahori Chargha to go, which surprisingly help up well and didn't get soggy or a weird texture for not being eaten right away. They have some yogurt chutney on the side which is always a favorite, it's spicy and refreshing and goes perfectly with the chicken. I just wish I had a bucket of it. I came here for dinner the first time I tried this place, and the chicken boti was really good. The meat was tender and flavorful. I was a little irritated the first time I came because I ordered garlic naan and they brought plan naan, and this was after waiting 30 minutes for someone to remember I was here and to take my order. I'm glad I came back for a second chance. I got the halwa puri for brunch and it was the perfect portion and perfectly seasoned. The halwa wasn't overly sweet and the chole was spicy. The puris were fresh and soft. Inside it is spacious with mostly booth seating. There are some tables. I haven't seen it super busy so I hope business keeps up as I would love to see more Pakistani restaurants after we lost Casa Lahori. The parking lot is shared with a Starbucks and some house remodeling places like much of Miramar.

Yelp
There are so many Desi restaurants in Miramar but this has to be my fave by far. I've come here for Eid dinner with my family and our friends and they were able to accomodate for our group of 20+ people so YES this place is great for big groups. We ordered multiple dishes and did family style as a group and still went home with leftovers because of how much food it was! Everything on the menu was delicious just be prepared with a glass of milk or some yogurt because it is spicy! They get their halal meat from Harris Ranch which if you've been to NorCal before, you know it's the best meat in the state and of high quality! The customer service here is good and they're super responsive on IG. I was trying to order a turkey charga for Friendsgiving through Instagram but wanted it a couple days early and they were able to do that for me! So I went ahead and ordered the turkey charga for the Friendsgiving and it was a hit. It was soooo juicy and seasoned so well, and spicy hehe. I had never had a turkey like this one before but it's definitely going to become something I plan on ordering again in the future. Overall delicious food, great customer service and good location. I will def be back!

Ash D.

Yelp
Great friendly service. We had mutton pulao beef nihari and mutton karahi with rice garlic naan and mango lassi. My only nitpick is that the naan should be a larger portion but everything we had was incredible. High quality halal meat MUST VISIT

Hanafi M.

Yelp
Not so great. The place was totally empty (5pm) and it still took forever, which is cool, I only mention just in case you happen to be in a hurry, I was not, and yet the Nann (bread) was served stone cold to my table, how embarrassing, it was not busy, I'm the only one in this establishment. No thank you 4 me, and no goodbye after the dude asked how everything was. Guess he did not enjoy my observations. So many choices on Miramar extremely better and less than a mile away. Can't honestly see this place still in business by Mid-2024 at the latest.

Asif R.

Yelp
Plz don't look at the pictures of the food. Very poor quality of food & taste is zero. I would rather eat fish burger at Charles jr. Plz don't waste ur hard earn $$$ at this place

Negar T.

Yelp
Delicious food with different spices and the service is good. The Ambience is okay but the food is unbelievably delicious.

Jay D.

Yelp
Good food. Definitely small portions for the price. Wish I knew how to cook this food I would make it at home. SD must be one of those expensive cities.

Scott N.

Yelp
The food here was amazing! Everything was cooked to order! I couldn't believe it! Even the rice was cooked fresh when i ordered it! The food was similiar to indian food but being a Pakistani restaurant, the food was even more delicious than any indian restaurant I had ever eaten at. The Chaney, which is like Channa Masala, but 10 times better, is a must try, in my opinion! Even the spices they used on their version of Tandori Chicken was very flavorful and more delicious than any Tandori Chicken I had ever had before. After eating here, I definitely want to explore.more Pakistani food. Also, the waiters here were so friendly and very attentive! I would highly recommend this place, especially if you like flavorful food! I would describe the food I ate as semi-spicy with perfectly balanced flavors, making.it an incredibly delicious eating.experience for both me and my husband! If you like the flavor profile of indian food, but with even more delicious flavors that stand out, I feel confident you will love this place!

Yelp
Great food good service yummy sauces tikimasala was my favorite to eat parking easy and nice service

Amir A.

Yelp
Big space for parking. Def do surprise you when you enter, because it doesn't look that much from outside. The cool first thing is you can watch as the food is made through a window. So tandoori naan as they enter the hot tandoor was cool to watch for both the small and elder kids. Some of us adult thought also it was fun to watch how they balance the dough from and area to another to make the naan. The staff was attentive and courteous. But the food was the best! We went there twice and they didn't disappoint us! We def will recommend this plaice.

Lorena D.

Yelp
The restaurant is not fancy, but the food is exquisite! Service is good, food is fresh and tastes like homemade. Everything is so nicely presented. I am totally coming back for their Chana Masala. Simply delicious!!

Donald R.

Yelp
I have always been lucky using Yelp reviews to select restaurants. Earlier this evening was a miss. A colleague wanted to have an Indian meal so we tried Kebabish for the 1st time. The restaurant was quiet on a Sunday evening so there was no problem getting a seat. We started with a Vegetable Samosa, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Boti, my colleague ordered the Special Mixed Daal and of course, we requested two orders of Naan bread. The vegetable samosas arrived quickly, perhaps a bit too quickly. The outside of the samosas were very hot, however, the centers were still ice cold. They needed a few more minutes in the oven. My colleague's main course was well done. The naan bread was especially well received with his Mixed Daal. My Chicken Tikka Boti was way too dry and needed some type of sauce. I was only able to eat a small portion of the main course. Perhaps it was a off-evening for the service staff and kitchen.

Bobbie W.

Yelp
Been going here for the last 5 years. Continues to be the best food from the subcontinent in the whole region. Very friendly people too. It's a little haven of tranquility with absolutely excellent food. Thank you to the team and please keep doing what you are doing.

Crystal K.

Yelp
This is one of the only places in SD that serves Pakistani cuisine and they have some dishes we haven't found anywhere else. One of their special dishes is Lahori Chargha. They marinate and steam a whole chicken, then they marinate it again and fry it. So you get a chicken that's crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and sooooooo flavorful. They have many dishes that are also familiar to #indiancuisine but you will see #beef and #halal options. They do have #vegetarian as well. We feasted on: Milk Tea Mango Lassi Shami Kebab (mix of lentils & beef grilled patty) Samosas Chicken Tikka Masala Mutton Karahi Beef Nihari Lahori Chargha (fried chicken) Chicken & Beef Seekh Kebab (ground meat) Tikka & Reshmi Boti (sizzling grilled chicken) Chicken Biryani We had enough for dinner AND lunch & dinner the next day too! But the variety was enough that it kept our taste buds HAPPY!

saad u.

Yelp
I am surprised I never reviewed this restaurant. It is the only Pakistani restaurant in entire San Diego area that is also Zabihah halal and certified. The food: authentic Pakistani flavors, the charga is a hit with our family. Even the Turkey Charga special, which is usually dry was moist and flavorful. The kebabs are next to none. They have changed the staff and service keeps getting better everytime. They seem to be on the right track. And I like the overall vibe of the restaurant. For a south asian restaurant it is on the good side. Overall a well deserved 5/5.

Anshu B.

Yelp
Food was decent but service was horrible. Flavors are authentic but overall taste was average. There are better options for Indian food in the Miramar area just down the street. Only one server for the whole place also acting as the host. Layout of the restaurant is pretty badly designed so easy to do unnoticed for long periods of time.

Michiko L.

Yelp
I took a late lunch today and was able to get a to-do order (their Yelp listing said they open at 12:30 pm). It was about 1:30 pm when I arrived, and it was pretty empty. It was, however, pretty hot. I said something about air conditioning, but the waiter didn't say whether or not they had any or if it was broken. So keep that inind as the Miramar Road area can get pretty hot during the day. This is a sit-down and order restaurant, but I asked about take-out and was given a menu, after I was greeted as soon as I entered. There's a big, long window where you can see into the kitchen that I thought was pretty cool. I ordered the Chicken Reshmi Boti (thighs) and a side of basmati rice ($1.00); my total with tax was $15.07. The server said it would be about 10 minutes, but my order came out faster than that. It was packaged very nicely for transportation and included paper plates, napkins and utensils. The bag of food felt quite heavy, and I think it was a good portion for the price, especially the rice. There was also a yogurt sauce on the side. Everything was delicious. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, with a hint of heat. Kebabish is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I'll be back!

Anucci F.

Yelp
Great home cooking test humble service. Verity food u won't find any pakistani indian restaurant.

Nancy K.

Yelp
I got take out, so eating at the restaurant may be better. I can't believe I paid so much for so little. Ordered the mutton karabi and the paneer tikka masala. The portions were laughably small and I could accept that if the food was stand out. It's average for San Diego Indian.

Vahid J.

Yelp
Visited recently and a few months ago during the day time and the service was good. We were given menu's right away. Once we ordered there was a decent wait time, but it was well worth the wait. This is one of the two only Pakistani restaurants in San Diego, while there are many Indian Restaurants to choose from. The meat here is 100% halal which is even harder to find and the meat is usually higher quality and it shows in the taste. I highly suggest the nihari (slowly cooked beef broth eaten with bread), chicken biriyani, and the chicken tikka masala for a variety of flavors to choose from. Also make sure to order some additional garlic naan to go with these plates. Other then that wait times this place has excellent food, and prices are in line with other similar restaurants.

Omeer G.

Yelp
The food and service are amazing, and I love it so much. It's seriously the best Pakistani food in all of San Diego. Thank you so much for this great food.

Fabiola A.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Ordered chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, veg samosa and garlic naan. Chicken korma is now a favorite of mine. Garlic naan, best naan i have had. Excellent service. Will definetely come again

Tarun T.

Yelp
The pakistani food served here is as authentic and as close to one can get outside of Pakistan. The cooks are from the native country and their style of cooking and flavors are absolutely original. We tried mutton kadhai and chicken tikka roll. The dishes were flavourful and had a fine balance of spices. The owner is very humble and serves with care. The only downside to this place is that it is in a little non descript mall which is on the main road. You could even order via food delivery service as well. A must visit place if you are craving for pakistani cuisine

Aasim B.

Yelp
Tandoori chicken on sizzling platter is mind blowing I'll never have it any other way! Naan was crispy and fresh not too fluffy Customer service was Awesome Muhammad and Hasnain checked in often and the cook Kulsoom was also very sweet to check in with us

Osman S.

Yelp
It was really nice to find Zabihah Halal restaurant in San Diego. Restaurant might look like middle of no where in Mirimar at night. We went there around 5:30pm but slowly restaurant was full in no time. We ordered chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, chicken reshmi and beef Halem. Every dish was right on the spot delicious. Food came out quick. Service was outstanding. Restaurant was clean. We are definitely coming back again.

Rezwana S.

Yelp
Food taste wise good but very spicy even for older people. Don't have kids appropriate food.

Rameez Z.

Yelp
Come here routinely, and i would say the only place I go for Pakistani food and though they aren't as good as some of the better Pakistani restaurants in Los Angeles, the Mutron Palau and Lahori Chargha were both ppl amazing!!! I now have found dishes that I absolutely CRAVE at Kebabish!! I also have to say both the f these dishes were on par with the better Pakistani restaurants in Los Angeles!!!!! Woo hoo!

Muhammad Q.

Yelp
I had an amazing time at Kebabish! The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying the nihari and halwa puri for a delightful culinary experience. A must-visit for food enthusiasts!

Shazia K.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service! I had one of the best daal's over at their place .

Ashraf M M.

Yelp
We have been here on multiple occasions, and every time, we had a great experience with authentic food and great service. The owners are very passionate about the quality of food and provide a welcoming experience. Must try out the kebabs, lahori charga and halwa puri, it's awesome.

Muhammad H.

Yelp
Excellent food with authentic taste from India-Pakistan. One should try chiken charga, lamb paya, karai mutton and beef sis-kabob with freshly made tandoor nan (bread). Simply delicious!

Ahmed K.

Yelp
Hands down the best mutton pulao i have ever had. Beef nihari was so delicious too and meat was super tender and flavorful. Definitely going again whenever in san diego.

Victoria D.

Yelp
I ordered from Uber eats a few weeks ago and they forgot my shami kabob, but this time when I ordered via Uber eats, they left me a note and extra shami Kabob

Shah S.

Yelp
The taste and spice makes this one of the best places for authentic desi food in San Diego. The menu is small but the food tastes great. They could improve on taking care of the place and customer service but I can see that they have a small staff to keep the price competitive and authentic taste. We have always enjoyed nihari, reshmi chicken, tikka and naan at Kebabish.

Umar Q.

Yelp
Great place for authentic desi cuisine.Big fan of the lahori charga, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Still yet to try the goat paya here, heard great things about it. Another major plus is the service speed is really quick.

Zoya K.

Yelp
"Absolutely amazing experience at Kebabish! Our large group was treated to exceptional service and every dish was delicious. From the flavorful kebabs to the aromatic curries, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!"

Nibras Y.

Yelp
hand slaughtered halal food. very good and excellent service. We go there all the time.

Karim A.

Yelp
Literally the best Pakistani/Desi restaurant I have ever been to. The Nihari is definitely the star of the show, but you can't go wrong with any of their dishes. We will definitely be returning.

Asad Ace A.

Yelp
Very good Pakistani food with taste similar to what is found in lahore . Kabob's and Karahi were great.

Umber A.

Yelp
So mixed feelings about this place. The quality of the ingredients such as the chicken was good but the dishes themselves were just okay. Not overly drenched in oil which I appreciated. However the chicken biryani had too much food coloring which had a taste to it, somewhat tasted like malai. And the Karahi chicken tasted more like chicken achar. The beef seekh kebab was dry.

Seetha G.

Yelp
Amazing food, loved this great place that serves up such flavorful authentic Pakistani dishes! We tried the beef seekh kebabs, chicken boti kebabs, mutton pulao and mutton korma. Each dish was very unique - both kebabs were extremely moist and flavorful but we were a tad more partial to the chicken boti kebabs. The mutton korma was delicious and very kid friendly! Can't wait to try out other items from their menu.

Sidz H.

Yelp
Outstanding food every single time! We drive from OC for their kebabs and chicken tikka!

Ali S.

Yelp
We had a pretty big group of friends getting together after quite some time. Paya and Nihari were the best. My friends liked the grilled kebabs also. They also introduced Khapsa, a Yemani dish but with a desi twist. Very tasty. Overall great experience. Service was very prompt. Highly recommended

Shahzad K.

Yelp
Great food and service. Halwa puri, Lahori Churgha, Kebabs and Haleem were the best. Food came in hot and fresh. We were visiting from out of town and tried this place a few times. Highly recommended.

Shehla M.

Yelp
Helloooooo Yelpers! Okay so long story short, the hubby and I have been looking for a delicious Pakistani/Indian Restaurant in North or South county for 2 years now! We found it, and if you're reading this review, you too have now found it! (Leveling up much?!?) Kebabish is DELICIOUS! This is our second time having it in a full week. I highly recommend the chicken biryani, the quality of meat is perfection (no bones, all white or dark meat, but boneless)! That is a must for me, as I am a Biryani lover but the bone in meat definitely throws me a curveball. (Also, my toddler loved their Biryani and was the reason why we came back so quickly.. so kid approved.) The chicken tikka masala is also scrumptious! Living in the city of San Diego we've tried our fair share of over priced Indian joints and they all amounted to 2 star chicken tikka masalas. Kebabish has an AMAZING 5 STAR chicken tikka masala that pairs absolutely well with their fresh tandoori naan. I must add separately that their naan is delicious! Condiments on point, so is their safe packaging and nearly touch less pick up (writing review during COVID of course). The location itself is clean and well kept, we are looking forward to becoming regular for take out, and one day God willing take in too! As my followers know, I am very particular when I give 4 or 5 star reviews so don't take my review lightly. This place is a must try, even if you have to drive a bit from the city (like us), or North County. The owner/ manager is very friendly and will assist you when ordering, so don't be afraid of asking questions and making revisions to your dish.. they're open to suggestions and nice to interact with. Here's to more yummy eats and more nearly-perfect to perfect reviews! S
