Google
Kebabs To Go has quickly become one of my favorite takeout spots, and it's mostly because of their lamb chops seriously, they're so good. Always cooked just right, juicy, and full of flavor. The service is always solid too. Pushpa and Rojina are awesome by, super friendly. You can tell they actually care, and that makes a big difference. If you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and get those lamb chops. You won't regret it.

Google
Caught this resturant from the corner of my eyes and decided to try it out. Conveniently next to a gas stop, the smell of Kabob fills the air once you open the door. We ordered the beef one, which surprising was juicy and flavorful. Definitely did not make you feel "heavy or the meat taste fatty" if you know what I mean. We ordered the wrap and platter, which had a good portion of toppings! Definitely a pleasant surprise to try and taste the kabobs, since the kids were craving wings. Ohh and menu is halal except for the rib steak option!

Google
Extremely good kebabs! They didn't sell gyros but their wraps are outstanding. Highly recommended!

Google
Great portions and delicious food. The gyro plate is the best.

Google
A gem in Irving! I wasn't expecting a delicious to go place that serves delicious food. Feedback: Menu display can be simplied to understand what are they offering to make the process quick easy to read. Salad: Fresh n delicious Plate: Delicious just right quantity!!! Great choices! For now wouldn't change anything. To go disposables n cutlery was good quality! If u add few shakes it would add more business. But over all great. I am a dine in person. But for a quick in n out the outdoor seating not my fav but bcoz I was in a rush too. It worked. This would be my fav spot for me n my hubby for a quick lunch on the go. Thanks! Best of luck!

Google
I have been going to Kebabs to-go for years. One of my favorites in the area. Recently noticed the food quality has gotten worse. The eggplants have excessive seeds - sign of poor quality vegetables. Portions have gotten smaller. Will be looking for a new place. :-(

Haris

Google
It has been one of my most consistent Afghani / Mediterranean fast food spots since 2016. The flavors haven’t changed. The big complaint i still have are the portion sizes for meat on their plates. If they improve that, I am sure they would get thronged by more people more often.

Yelp
I drive from Allen once a month. AMAZING flavor, better than most sit-down restaurants

Yelp
Chicken with white rice and salad was delicious. The chicken was moist and tender. The salmon a la carte was dry. The lamb a la carte was delectable. The spinach was below average. Good customer service. Plenty of parking. No indoor sitting, however, outdoor seating is available.

Yelp
We ended up having a late lunch/early dinner here after someone recommended it. There's plenty of parking in this plaza. The interior is okay, nothing fancy. Service was friendly. Pricing was slightly on the higher end. My wife ordered a beef kobida wrap, and I ordered lamb kabobs with kabuli rice. The beef wrap was pretty good. It seemed to be a whole wheat wrap, and enough veggies and sauce to make it flavorful. It did get messy with all the sauce leaking out, though. One comment I have is that the beef kabob kind of seemed skinny compared to the size of the wrap. The lamb with rice and spinach was also pretty tasty. The cooked spinach didn't seem to match the dish, but the kabuli rice was good and the carrots were cooked nicely. The sauce was flavorful. The lamb kabobs were good, though a bit tough.

Yelp
Food is always great! I recommend the beef for ribeye plate, chickpeas, and rice asides the chicken is also great.
google avatar

Brenda M.

Yelp
If I wanted 3 plats of salad, I'd be going to a salad place....what the heck happened to the menu?! I'll be getting turkish food instead. What happened to the rice???? Disappointing.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
This place is delicious. Everything I've ordered here has been impressive. Even their sides, eggplant. I've ordered almost every dish and love their plates and their sauces. Can't decide which is my favorite, the gyro plate or chicken kobida plate. Perfect portions and well cooked proteins.

Hey its me I.

Yelp
Change the hours to "when we feel like it" instead of misleading customers , thanks .

Yelp
I still think about the eggplant Borjani. Absolutely delicious. Very fast service and a good amount of food

Yelp
I have been eyeing this restaurant for some now and finally gave them a try. OMG- the food was delicious! My hubby had the paneer platter with salad and garbanzo beans, while I opted for the salmon platter with salad and brown rice. It was so fricken yummy! I will definitely return! I removed a star because I was quite disappointed with the baklava. It was a small triangle for $5. Seriously?! I am including a pic- the pricing is just ridiculous!
google avatar

Shelita B.

Yelp
The food and service was absolute amazing! The food was so fresh and flavorful! Knocked my socks off! Can't wait to visit Dallas and eat here again.

Emily T.

Yelp
It's difficult to find authentic tasting gyros in America - I enjoy the recipes Would recommend for vegetarians as well - probably not a vegan destination though- as everything is kind of mixed around and it's quite a busy spot so expect to wait 15 minutes even for pick up small orders.
google avatar

Paige B.

Yelp
Man, my salmon plate was slammin! Ordered through door dash, food came quick, was fresh and warm and oh so delicious! Portions were big and priced great! Also had the hummus with pita. Decent portions again and so tasty! I really enjoyed my food and think you would too!
google avatar

Tifna T.

Yelp
Polite Service.... Hole in the wall as everyone says it. Hummus had no salt nor did it taste like hummus. Salad was ok... brown rice was preferred than the white rice. I felt the serving of rice was big enough of a portion size but the meat quantity was less compared to other places I've been to. Definitely a rip off to what you're paying. If I went to another Mediterranean/ Turkish/ Persian place I would get double amount of meat than what I received today. Terribly disappointed.
google avatar

Aaron N.

Yelp
Food tastes fine but the portions are terrible for what you have to pay. Was way better a few years ago.one strip of meat and a mountain of rice... yeesh. Staff was poorly trained too had no idea what was going on.
google avatar

Phil B.

Yelp
This spot is amazing. One of my fave kebab places in dfw. Everything made fresh in front of you and seasoned heavenly. Sumac on everything from now on! Love that stuff. Any of their kebabs with warm chickpeas as a side, thank me later.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in Dallas! I always try to stop by when I'm in the area. The portions are huge for the price, I always eat it for at least two meals. We always get the beef kebob + gyro meat. The meat is tender and flavorful. For sides, my favorite are the potatoes, chickpeas, and eggplants. It's honestly better than some of the other, more expensive mediterranean places I have been too. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but you can order ahead of time to save some time!

Clent B.

Yelp
Food is fire! I love the number 5 with white rice and chick peas. The staff is always very friendly and singing. Love the energy in here and the plates are very adorable for the amount of food you get.
google avatar

Yelp
You can easily miss this if you're not in the know! It's a small place attached to a 7-Eleven/Exxon gas station. As the name implies, this place offers food to-go so there is no dine-in. However, there are tables and chairs on the outside but I'm not sure if they're available to the public. The inside is well organized and very clean! The kitchen, prep station and Register is designed in an open concept so you can see your meal fully prepared. They have several refrigerated displays (one showing the prepped kabobs that are awaiting the grill and the other filled with drinks and desserts). Tonight we ordered the Beef Kobida Plate, Lamb Plate, and Ribeye plate. The Beef Kobida is the most flavorful of the three. The lamb is tender and the ribeye was a bit overcooked for my liking but still good. For our sides, we ordered the potatoes, eggplant, salad and rice. For some reason I thought the potatoes would be fried, but they are stewed until perfectly tender. All the sides balanced well with the hearty meat. The prices are decent for the amount of food you get. Tip: If you want to order online for pickup, order directly from the website instead of the other services (Uber Eats, GrubHub, DoorDash etc.) for the cheapest prices. The best price will always be calling-in or ordering in-person. Overall, a great place to pick up a quick dinner! I can't wait to go back and try their wraps.

Yelp
Thank you Kebabs To Go team for always going above and beyond with your service and delicious food. #ThankYouThursday

Yelp
Kebabs to go is one of those hole in the walls that has such amazing food that no one cares where it is located. It's delicious, healthy if you want it to be, and craveable. I honestly think there is not a single bad thing on the menu. In terms of halal food items not every meat is halal so be sure to ask. My favorite item is the beef koobidah wrap and the spinach. My husband loves..... everything. We go here at least once every two weeks and have been for the last two years and have never received bad service or a messed up order. The same employees have been working there ever since we started coming. This place is definitely worth trying. Especially if you love excellent flavored kabobs and fantastically-flavored vegetables.
google avatar

Raniya K.

Yelp
Really good halal Place around. It's really a must try. Do try their kobida plates. The staff is really good and helpful. They suggest you good dishes from the menu. Even the ambience is very pretty very cosy and peaceful. Overall it's a must try Place.
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood eatery!! The food is authentic and delicious. Do not order a dish without getting the rice, I don't think I've ever experienced such soft fluffy and flavorful rice with that spice on top. And the white sauce is to die for. Love the kobida meat and the salad piled high with feta. I got adventurous the last time and ordered a cheese kebab. It was lacking flavor but maybe I'm not used to that particular cheese they use. Stick to the meat dishes here and you'll be good. The chickpeas everyone raves about are legit too. With the location being next to a gas station I didn't expect it to be all that. But they do serve it up with the freshness.
google avatar

Yelp
If you want delicious, quick food with great service, this is the place to go. This place was suggested by one of my friends when I asked "what's good to eat around here". On the outside, it doesn't look like much. Small store next to a gas station. Hm. Walk in, and your world changes. You're greeted with smiles and patient workers. A lot on the menu? No problem, they take the time to explain. What we got: Beef Kofta plate - selected rice and chick peas and got some bonus spinach. The meat was very fresh, grilled up right in front of you as you order and the chick peas and spinach were delicious as well. Gyro meat wrap - The wrap was packed full of delicious gyro meat and sauce. ~This place is priced perfectly ($10 per dish) and everything is cooked fresh. Hot tip: Call ahead, because this place can definitely get busy!

Yelp
Use to be one of my go to place but the quality has gone downhill and the portion has reduced for 12$ and change. The picture posted is (I promise its not half eaten) the actual portion i got. The actually gave me some leaves to make me better. ( I guess) Wont be spending my money at this establishment again.

Julie E.

Yelp
Amazing food!! This was my go to when I used to live in Irving. The gyro is soooo good, along with the eggplant and salad!
google avatar

Yelp
I needed to escape work for a bit and decided a drive to here would be good for me. This place is easy to find as it is next to a 7 Eleven. There is a a nice patio on the side for those few days in Texas one can eat outside. T I was greeted as I walked in and notice a lot of to go orders being processed. I was the only customer in the place at the moment. I figured out what I wanted and ordered, a rib-eye kebab in a wrap. As I waited, I visually explored more of the menu and the sides next to the assembly area. I loved seeing the grill flame kiss the kebabs. I saw they had a reach in cooler with soft drinks and even yogurt drink (I loved that when I lived in Turkey). My order was well packed and back to the office I went. The wrap was really, REALLY good. It will be hard to try something else the next time as the flavor was exceptionally good with the grill rib-eye flavor, sauces, greens and tomatoes.
google avatar

Nes A.

Yelp
The food was okay and not sure if I would come back again. I ordered the ribeye plate with potatoes and rice. My food was soggy because of the potatoes so maybe that was my fault. My first time so I didnt really know what to order. They only accept cash! I went next door to 7Eleven atm to get cash. They had a sign that they accept cash or Zelle but the machine is "not working". Zelle is an app and you do not need a machine other than a phone.
google avatar

Yelp
Writing this review from the parking lot as I consider going back in for another plate. Just ridiculously good. Kebab of your choice is cooked to order on the open grill, right in front of you. Menu is basic and straight forward. Service is not what you're here for so don't go with high expectations. Small space, carry out only.
google avatar

lakshmi c.

Yelp
The portion sizes are very small for the amount of money being paid. Very little paneer being offered for the meal. Flavor is good though, just not enough protein.
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
On our last night in town, we ordered from Kebabs to Go since Mom wanted a gyro. The food was tasty and was delivered quickly. Mom really enjoyed her gyro and her tzatziki. I had a tofu kebab, medium spicy which was fine but the stars were the veggie plate. The spinach and the chickpeas were amazing. AMAZING. Like I want that spinach right now and it's in another state. Also the baklava was delish too. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Janice P.

Yelp
Ive tried the chicken plate a couple of times. The chicken itself is good but the sides need work. The potatoes and the spinach are too runny. The potatoes are overcooked. If you order these sides then the juices run into everything giving you a big container of slop. I ordered the salmon plate, the salmon was overcooked. Other members of my family really love the Gyros, which is why I gave the three stars.
google avatar

Christine N.

Yelp
Love Kebabs To Go! Great place for a quick high quality meal. No indoor seating but usually take it to go. There is outdoor seating. Try the chicken, it's good but I prefer the ribeye. Salmon plate is great as well. My favorite sides are the salad, chick peas, and potatoes. TIP: Call ahead if you can as they get rather busy. Only served in to go containers, hints the name. :)
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
Amazing kebabs, fresh and flavorful. Their very generous with their portions and very affordable on their prices. The staff was very friendly and patient, looked like they were enjoying their jobs and everything inside looked very clean.

Luv L.

Yelp
I will drive 30 min to eat here any day. Get the lamb plate w white rice and extra salad
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
I crave this meal every week!! Highly recommend subbing for the Kabuli rice - worth the price upgrade!

Tracy C.

Yelp
the prices on the menu hanging up displayed are old and they changed the cost at the register. False advertisement and rude behavior from workers
google avatar

Michele N.

Yelp
This is just an update to my former review written 8 years ago. We love this place and always have. The food is great. The only problem now is the way they're skimping on chicken on their chicken plate. There were times in the past when I couldn't even eat all of the chicken. Now, there is never enough. Tonight's dinner included approx 5 bites of chicken the size of a quarter. This isn't even a full serving of meat. It was maybe 1/2 of a chicken breast AT BEST. This is not acceptable. I understand times are tough but raise prices if necessary. It's not ok to serve a meal that would barely satisfy a kid much less and adult.
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
It's one of the best Afghan foods I've ever had. Food is flavorful. Their secret sauce is the bees knees. The rice is well cooked and seasoned and their eggplants are so soft and flavorful!
google avatar

Michael Z.

Yelp
Fabulous, fast and reasonable! Sam had the gyro plate, and I had the lamb. Both were amazing, hot and well seasoned. Highly recommend!!

Alejandra C.

Yelp
i am always craving the lamb kebabs. the 45 minute drive is so worth it to me. 100/100
google avatar

Shahrukh A.

Yelp
Good food. Just don't let then scam you. The employees will give you less than you ordered, and stop at no lie to give you less or charge you more. I had to make them reprint my receipt and read what was on it to me, and that didn't even work. 2 of them looked at the receipt and lied together that I had 5 orders on it instead of 6. So I made them count on their fingers until we all agreed the receipt said 6, and only then did they give what we ordered. Had to go through a whole karen ordeal to get simply what I paid for. -2 stars for scam mentality.

Ali B.

Yelp
Went here a couple times , I'll say if the right guy is working it might be okay , out of the 3 times I've been here first time was good and good service , second time wasn't it but this 3rd time , very bad service , messed up me and friends order twice in a row , and then we got yelled at that we can't eat inside , would have been different if polity asked or told so , didn't even get to have 2 bites out of the sandwich, was way to much sauce disgusting my friend literally threw up , also they don't close at 2 they close at 1:20 which is not correct according to google , if you have the right worker then you might have potential in your meal but today it was 100% unacceptable, bad service, bad food , when I told the worker about the sauce he replied with " ok ? " which leads me to this bad review we spent a total of 40$ and I feel robbed .
google avatar

Kathy H.

Yelp
Great food and lots of it for the price. The qalubi rice is the best! We drive from Euless to Irving because we like it so much. We two seniors split a meal and still have leftovers.
google avatar

Kelsi D.

Yelp
Best Mediterranean! We are addicted to this stuff. Get the falafel and the chicken kebabs. My husband likes the beef (not kobida). They really shine with their sauces and seasonings. We always get takeout.
google avatar

Jobin J.

Yelp
So I been coming here almost since they have opened and the food is usually pretty good. Only big thing I dislike is that when you ask for extra sauce, they never seem to do it. I always request extra meat with my orders and want extra sauce with it too and they ignore the special request. Once it's just meat and rice it's very bland without sauce. They didn't used to charge or give a hard time about giving sauce before but I am not sure what changed. It makes it hard wanting to come back...
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
I want to try it again, The salad was unusually wet, my husband did say it was very busy when he picked up the food, so maybe they were just slammed. The baba ganoush was fantastic!
google avatar

Rosa L.

Yelp
This place has horrible customer service. Their food is inconsistent. When I asked for their manager they said they had no one on staff. Unprofessional and rude. Their food is never the same- might be good one day next day it's something different. Super disorganized.
google avatar

Irfan H.

Yelp
Food is Absolutely Amazing which is why I have them the 3 stars which could have been 5 but had to deduct 2 stars for the condition of their restroom which almost made me throw up. Kindly keep your restroom clean, it's the same restroom your employees use to cook our food. Thank you

Chris S.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times before and have had much better experiences. The kebabs used to be very flavorful and portions generous. We ordered takeout here and were excited to try out their salmon plate, paneer kebab, ribeye kebab plate, and additional ribeye kebab. We also ordered the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant. The salmon kebabs were by far the best, cooked medium-well, with a gentle seasoning that allowed us to taste the fish. Quite good. Additionally the eggplant dish was a star - extremely flavorful. And that was about it... The ribeye kebabs were super over-cooked, slathered in sauce. The additional $8.95 ribeye kebab was also dry a tough, and we only got 4 tiny pieces. The paneer was tough and tasted like super-firm bland tofu. Every component seemed saturated in oil and sauce, which itself had an odd sour taste. While usually our favorite, the baba ganoush was super bitter and tasted burnt, unlike any other baba we've tried before. I tried a couple pieces of pita with it and then couldn't eat anymore - it was SO bitter. Regrettably, while this place was a great experience before, maybe something changed here. Regardless, I think we'll try somewhere else next time for kebabs.
