Man Pleads Guilty in Accident That Killed Brasa Employee | Eater Twin Cities

"After the crash he went to Keenan’s Bar, where his mother was working as a bartender; in his plea hearing testimony he said he left the car there, she followed him to his place of work in South St. Paul, and they drove away together, and the vehicle involved has not yet been recovered." - Joy Summers

My husband and I went for a long walk along the shore and discovered this gem. We love the friendly atmosphere and the great vibe. We had a wonderful time. Margarita was delicious, and the cold beer was just right. We will definitely be back here. Thank you!

Google
love this place. one downside, men cannot wear cut off sleeves after 8, but all the girls can basically wear nothing. had to buy a t shirt for my hubby but all good...had a blast either way

GIRLS DONT GO HERE - THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR SAFETY. My friends and I were visiting from New York and were told to check this place out. The band was cool. But it was very loud and chaotic, and I had to take a call. I saw a door open by the bathrooms and people going in and out. I walked out and realized it was a parking lot and the band was packing their vans. Ooops, I turned around to the guy at the door (drink in my hand BTW), and he told me I couldn’t re-enter. You’d think he would have warned me before I walked out, or told me I couldn’t take my drink. I asked to bring the manager and he said I’d have to go to the front. I was going to just walk in and the employee literally slammed the door in my face if I was any closer it would have hit me (disgusting, rude, behavior). So, I set my drink down that he allowed me to take (probably not legal), but I wasn’t trying to get a ticket in a state I’m unfamiliar with the laws so I wasted $ on that. When I get to the front, all the men working were on a complete power trip. They said I had to get in line to get back in. I had a stamp on my hand and PAID MONEY to be in the bar in the first place. They absolutely would not budge on letting me in. He pointed to the door and said look it says exit and I said I didn’t even come out this way?? My friends and I all spent money on drinks and had they let me back in, we would have spent more. I saw the doormen later let some guys in that showed their stamp so clearly they were just being rude to me. I did nothing wrong to deserve to be treated that way. I’m a petite girl unfamiliar with the area, but luckily I have good friends that answered their phone and left immediately when I told them and I’m glad that I wasn’t in a bad state of mind. You hear about girls going missing on vacation especially when they’re drinking. All I could think about was the Riley Strain incident in Nashville. The bar failed him and a mega law firm accepted the case - the bar will 100% be named on the lawsuit. This can easily happen at this bar! Had I wandered off, nobody knew I was leaving the bar, I didn’t even know I was leaving the bar! Cameras would clearly show this. This bar is anti-female and anti-keeping paying patrons safe when they accidentally walk out the wrong door. Plenty of other great places to visit in this area. Please check out somewhere else if you’re young or a woman. Like I said I’m glad circumstances worked out for me but I fear not everyone could be so lucky. Photo for proof I was actually in the bar !!

Google
Incredibly rude bartenders for zero reason, like they're already anticipating a fight with their customers. Way too crowded, floor inside covered in alcohol. Plenty of better places on the island (and within walking distance!) to spend your money. I'll never come back, what a dump

Luciano B.

Google
Tons of fun in the summer. Great outdoor venue. That staff however all think that they’re hot shot and are pretty rude. I understand that they have to deal with drunk idiots, but in the end they chose to work there. Also the DJ needs to find a new playlist. I feel like I’m stuck in 2012 whenever I go there. Otherwise, I always have fun😄

Kerri T.

Google
Was there 11/22.25, DJ sucked!!! Was thee for my friend’s bday, DJ played OPPOSITE of what we asked. Dance floor was empty because DJ sucks!

Theresa D.

Google
Always a good time. The band, The Corner Boys, was really entertaining. Though we didn't eat during this visit, the mussels and fries are favorites.

David S.

Google
Came in for a beer to the outside bar. Bouncer immediately told me I can’t wear a tank top undershirt at an outside bar right off the beach…they told my buddy to take his sunglasses off. We walked up to one of the outside bars and were asked “u guys here for the la salle thing?” No signage up for the event or anything. How was anyone supposed to know? The bartender was doing shots. Just not a good experience tbh. Seemed like they didn’t want us there.

Yelp
All the bouncers are on a power trip. They don't know how to check a real id. Everyone in our party is over 23 years old and they didn't let us in. No scanners nothing. Awful service. Do not ever come here!!!!

Tyler S.

Yelp
It's a poppin Saturday night and we're out for a girls night to dance and I swear the DJ needs a lesson on how to connect to a crowd and cultivate a good time holy crap it was despicable. Idk who gets turned on by Mariah Carey all I want for xmas in August but it was a ridiculous display of laziness and sheer ineptitude. I don't care listening to Taysway in the car with windows down but it does not make me want to shake my booty and grind on my gals or even order another green tea shot just to try to get into your vibe of mainstream radio bullshit. Congrats I'm now sober. You're better off going to a limited too birthday party. Truly such a sad and disappointing night out with these old bearded dudes acting like they know how to DJ was a total cop out yall need to seriously try harder

Yelp
This is the best spot to drink jagerbombs ... Great service and babes everywhere... Music was bumping ... $139 later spent on patron and babes ... Would I do it again? Yea, tomorrow probably

Kate J.

Yelp
This isn't a post to bash the place more so to let people know that anything on the food menu that says "cutlet" isn't actually chicken cutlets it's just frozen chicken from a bag so don't even bother getting it.

Yelp
Super fun venue close to lots of other lively bars in Wildwood. We saw Cat 5 here which is a great band and enjoyed some tasty boneless wings. It was a rainy Sunday which may have kept some of the crowds away but there was still a good crowd there dancing and having fun. The food and the service were decent. We will be back for certain.

Yelp
Went to Keenan's on a Saturday night with friends and wasn't drinking so I ordered a water. The bartender, annoyed, said "if you're ordering waters, go home." A friend who I was with also ordered a drink, along with a water, and he replied with a snarky remark "why do you need water..." While I understand they are out to make money, people have the right to order water at a bar. This is enforcing a super toxic and unsafe environment, and I'm sure they'd like to promote girls just getting obliterated and stumbling out of the bar. Do better.

Yelp
Keenan's is my favorite place to dance in the summer. Why? Because Keenans does everything right. They have a great outdoors in which to dance with comfortable seating and two nice bars. On Monday nights in summer they always have the Sensational Soul Cruisers who draw a crowd from all over Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The bartenders keep up well both outside and inside. And they are the friendliest around. They also have other bands and I particularly like seeing the Juliano brothers outside of Delaware County here in the summer. The drink prices are very reasonable for the shore. And it's just cool to be around people who grew up like I did in the city, the burbs and down the shore in summer. And yet it's not just boomers here. I loved dancing the entire summer with late 20's -70's dancing machines. The best thing the summer of 2018 Was Keenan's birthday party. They had drink and food specials. The waitstaff was attired in birthday T-shirts and the entire weekend was very festive. It's funny but it just occurred to me that Keenan's has become the "Cozy Morley's" of North Wildwood In that it's a great place to gather with family and friends . For those of you too young to remember Cozy's , Google it. Keenan's has become an institution in North Wildwood just like Cozy's was for the Greatest Generation Here's to another 20 years Keenan's!!!!

Yelp
The menu looked amazing. The prices were reasonable. I prayed that it wouldn't suck. But as we approached I realized it was just another Wildwood beer hall with sticky floors, meaty bouncers and blond waitresses in short shorts and sneakers. The food was as advertised. Surprisingly good. Find that chef a real restaurant. What a waste. The ambiance sucked. Total disconnect. Fine dining menu with chicken finger decor. So utterly disappointed.

Yelp
So I've been to Keenan's on a few different occasions- either for dinner or drinking. But most recently I went there to try their Green Eggs Cafe Menu, so that is what this review is based on. This summer, Green Eggs Cafe has taken over Keenan's from 8 AM to 4 PM everyday. This means that during this time you'll be able to order off of the Green Eggs menu, your food is cooked by Green Eggs chefs & you'll be served by Green Eggs staff. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are HUGE. I ordered the red velvet pancakes, which I've had at the Philly location, and they were perfect. 3 square red pancakes with cream and chocolate chips in between each. The perfect breakfast. My group also ordered a few egg dishes and the cookie dough french toast- I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. For now, it seems like the Green Eggs menu isn't well publicized on the island & unlike the Philly location- there was no wait time and plenty of tables were empty.

Yelp
Keenan's is a unique set up with a huge outdoor area sporting a live band. Almost everybody is smoking, which ruined the vibe for me. It didn't stop me from enjoying my margarita (no mixer). The green tea shot good. At least I think it was.

Yelp
These hostesses were unbelievably rude. I can't believe how unprofessional the staff is here. The lack of mask awareness is startling. Definitely won't be returning.

Yelp
This review is for late night drinking, we did not eat at all. We were ID'ed at the entrance, and I didn't personally have issues with security like other reviewers. We had a mixed but mostly older group. The bar is set up really nicely for both outdoor and indoor live music. There's tables and bar seating, but also a dance floor that was very popular. After the band finished we left since there was no DJ, just recorded music. I found pricing reasonable. High noons were $8, we did a few tequila shots for $7 each. It'll definitely be a very drunk crowd, so come here for a party, not to sit back and relax to music.

Yelp
I was with a group of friends and family and when we were getting IDs checked I was questioned, signed the sheet that says I am 21 and provided 3 different forms of ID that proved who I am. I am 24 years old now and I have never experienced anything like this. The bouncer immediately skimmed the sheet and held my ID for maybe 5 seconds before throwing away the sheet with all my personal information on. When we asked for the sheet out of concern for my personal information being on it he responded "relax bro I threw it out". We had a right to ask where a form with my address and other personal information was going without receiving a rude and unprofessional response. He refused to let me in after he let in everyone else I came with. Then he shared that he knew that I was the person in my ID and he still refused to let me in. I understand everyone has a job to do, but the tone and lack of customer service was extremely off putting. We mentioned that we're local people whose business was going to be lost. His response was a shrug of the shoulders and a very rude "I don't care". Disappointed is an understatement. The matter could have been handled in a professional way as we were just trying to figure out the reason for non-entry. Instead we were made to feel as we were doing something wrong for trying to give business to our local business. Even days after this event, I am trying to figure out why one bouncers opinion overrode three forms of ID and a personal contract that was never returned to my possession with sensitive information listed on said contract. If they are going to be this strict it would make sense to have a scanner and some proper way to dispose of the contracts in front of us or give us the opportunity to have it back. The service was so rude from the bouncers alone, none of us want to go to Keenans again.

Yelp
Keenan's SEXIST SCAM........I (a male) went to Keenan's in Wildwood on the evening of Saturday July 6, 2024 and at the entrance to enter the bar was advised that I was not allowed to enter the bar wearing a tank top. They conveniently had a large table of Keenan's logo shirts for sale at the bar entrance and advised me I would have to pay $20 to wear one of their shirts in order to enter on top of the $10 cover to get in. Meanwhile there were FEMALES allowed in the bar left and right wearing skimpy tank tops, bras as tops, and a dude wearing literal pajama pants. I asked if the females in my group (wearing tank tops) had to purchase and wear one of their Keenan shirts as well and they advised NO. Make it make sense!!!! This is not only rediculous but sexist as well. There are no dress code policies that I could find on their site and their is no sign at the bar entrance that I could see where it states this "policy". I asked the entrance people if I could not pay the $10 cover since I was being forced to buy their $20 shirt that I didn't even want and they were unwilling to compromise with this nonsense. I ended up paying $30 just to enter due to my group wanting to go there. Won't be coming back here.

Yelp
There are 2 things you can count on at Keenan's: the food will be predictably under-whelming and everything will be horribly over-priced. We've eaten here in the past and the food was absolutely horrendous. Keenan's only draw is the entertainment as long as you don't mind paying a cover and getting over-charged on your drinks. Careful, some bartenders will charge more than others for the same drink. When we heard about the new Neighborhood Grille, we thought that maybe they were stepping things up. The menu looked somewhat enticing and my wife was all over the Wooder-Ice Martinis. So we ventured in last week on Saturday night for dinner. All the bars in NWW were crowded, so we expected a wait for a table. I should have known when we walked in and the bar was only half-full and there was only 1 other couple in the dining room, that we'd probably made a mistake coming here for dinner. Being cautious, we ordered from the small plates menu. My wife got the Lemon Wooder Ice Martini. It was good, but certainly not $12(!) good. For food, we ordered one of the flat breads and the wing special. The flatbread was OK, but again underwhelming and not something I would get again. But the wings, which I was really looking forward to, were absolutely awful! I don't know how these wings were cooked, but I would swear they were boiled. The skin was fatty and chewy and the meat was mushy. I barely got through 2 wings. Keenan's can continue to sling out sub-par food and people will still come there out of some sense of loyalty or nostalgia. But I really wish they would show some care and appreciation for the customers that have kept them in business for so long.

Yelp
Over the summer, when I tried to go a bouncer took my license and put it in his pocket because he didn't believe it was me in the picture (it was.) So I had to leave, and the next afternoon I went back to get my ID back. The bouncer claims he doesn't have it and doesn't know where my ID went. Fast forward, just got a message from a cop that my license was turned it in CT. I was confused but then he sent me a picture of the same ID that was taken by this bouncer. Basically, he took my ID and gave it out to underage people so they can go get into bars. This is definitely illegal and I can't believe that this happened.

Josh C.

Yelp
Irish bar that doesn't let Irish people in. Doesn't really make any sense. I had Irish friends visiting and they showed their passports at the door and the bouncer said "no Irish allowed tonight". They shouldn't be allowed to say they're an Irish pub.
google avatar

Daniel R.

Yelp
While serving food at Keenan's is a new "venture", I highly dissuade you from letting your spontaneity get the best of you. Think of your worst high school lunch, then turn it into canned chicken and put it in a wrap. That was the chicken wrap, which we proceeded to eat - except we only ate the wrap / shell and lettuce... The wings were essentially boneless wings with more sauce and butter than chicken, except bones were in them. Make sure NOT to order these Buffalo Wild Wings, Walmart Style, which sadly is the only flavor truly offered. Stick to the sticky beer and irish music.

Alex B.

Yelp
Went to Keenans on Saturday night for some drinks with friends and ended up seeing about 8 bouncers attack a younger kid. Im sure this kid may have done something but nothing that could've provoked him getting choked out and attacked by 8 guys who were having a good time doing it. I thought the boy was unconscious as he was already on the floor not moving and bouncers just kept going at him. You're job as a bouncer is to get them out of the bar not attack and beat them up infront of a whole crowd of people. I was genuinely sick and none one who worked there gave a shit. Fuck this place and all the workers and I hope that kid sues. Everyone there was speechless and shocked
google avatar

Annamarie V.

Yelp
They over serve here. Dont care about what happens too their customers, its all about the mighty dollar. There was a very drunk girl making a fool of herself and knocking into people , spilling drinks all over , knocking drinks over and out of peoples hands , it was mentioned to the managers , bartenders and door men, they kept serving her. Not a fan
google avatar

Zehra M.

Yelp
This is by far the trashiest bar with the most horrible service I've ever encountered in my life. The bouncers in line didn't believe that I was 26 and made me confirm my address multiple times. When they realized that my address from my teen years didn't match my current NYC address (surprise surprise), they wanted to call the cops on me?! They proceeded to BEND my ID, damaging it trying to confirm it's validity. As a New Yorker who goes out multiple times a week, never have I ever been treated with this much disrespect. I will be filing a formal police complaint for the personal property damage.

Hannah D.

Yelp
Went with my brother and our mom and her friends, i'm 21 and he is 23. The bouncer took my ID (IL) and told me to fill out a form because he didn't believe i was 21, then proceeded to question my brothers ID (SC) saying "not even worth it you guys can leave". We left but my mom and her friends stayed and right after we left a group of girls came in for a 21st bday, which consisted of a good amount of 16 year olds that were let in. If they want to give underage guests their service than so be it, i'll be taking my of age self somewhere i'll be treated right. Also bouncer, learn what real/fake IDs look like or find a new job.

Yelp
A large group of us attended the Margarita and Taco Festival....... my question is; What Festival? I feel like we were duped into buying a $10 entrance ticket online (which included one drink) but aside from a Mariachi ensemble and food trucks on the sidewalk there was no entertainment at all inside. Most of the food available were very small tacos and quesadillas, I can't even say they were good or even a good deal. What a huge disappointment! I won't fall for that again. I am finding that festivals, in general, are nothing but a big money maker and never a good deal for the people that attend.

Aislinn B.

Yelp
Adult women were harassed by underage women over walking closer to a stage to see a live band, being shot of southern. They became aggressive over the situation, called a male who was in the group a " faggot ", yet young staff still made older patrons who were spending money leave. As older patrons high fived and apologized to the older crew being asked to leave the young under age possibly who were not spending money were allowed to stay. While bouncers mentioned they were being asked to leave as well. They never left. This bar is becoming more and more of an embarrassing moment to everyone who is a regular in wildwood.

d d.

Yelp
This review is about the neighborhood grille which is attached and owned by keenans.. the place is severely overpriced, the food was mediocre at best, and 2/3 things we ordered were falsely advertised. We ordered the shrimp skewers, tangerine salad with chicken, and the classic Greek. The shrimp "skewers" was just 1 skewer and the classic Greek (listed under salads) had no lettuce and was basically just a plate of thickly sliced cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes for $17. The tangerine salad with chicken had some more substance but the portion should have been for an app or a side salad, which cost $22. Overall the place is a complete rip off and their menu is very misleading.

Yelp
A great spot to grab drinks with friends. Didn't have the food, nor did I sit at a table. Just like any bar, there's some rowdy people, loud groups, and so on, which is all part of the fun. Drinks are reasonably priced and well-poured! Feels great to be in a beach town and drinking outdoor with friends. Great live music too!

Anna S.

Yelp
Was honestly super excited to come to this place with my friends for the weekend but unfortunately had a bad experience. The bouncers (who look approx 18) believed my friends ID "wasn't her" and denied her when she is well over 21. They are incompetent at checking IDs and let multiple people in without glancing at any identification, yet made a legal person fill out forms and ultimately denied her. When asking the bouncers why they weren't letting her in they responded in a rude and hostile manner, meanwhile I'm watching them let in clearly underage people. Would be a great venue if the staff were properly trained and not discriminatory. When she came back with her passport photo, they glared at her and offered no apology for THEIR mistake.

Gina S.

Yelp
Had a blast here when we did our bar crawl, however, the night we went when the band took a break so did the music other than that was a blast

Thomas K.

Yelp
stay away! They only like their local friends to be there. They are poorly ran. The food is garbage. They let people get intoxicated to no point of return.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
This place is good for a bar. There is always live music, and always a party. Tons of bars, bartenders. Service was always quick. Great outdoor space. And varied space. Inside and outside had a different feel to each room. But regardless, its a sticky bar. And nothing more. I wouldn't go there for anything other than that.

shelly t.

Yelp
This place is ridiculous. They will not allow 16 to 20-year-olds in but they have babies in the bar all the way up to 15 years old. They claim it's because they been busted too many times for serving underage kids maybe they should be Idian before you get drinks. The are rude and ignorant. A 2 year Old can be in a bar but not a 20-year-old. The staff and bartenders are very rude. I would not recommend with the numerous other bars in the area. We had no problem going to anywhere else and having a great time. They would not even let you use the bathroom even escorted because you were 20 years old. And also we're not allowed to sit down and have food .
google avatar

Brad V.

Yelp
Live bands are great and seafood soup is 5 stars, but rest of food is so-so and service is so-so. Really should be 3.5 stars. It is what it is - loud and fun but lack

Colin B.

Yelp
Horrible, they turn you away if you wear a tank top. Coming from the beach, what do you expect us to wear. Rude staff, watered down drinks. Bad experience. Many better options in town like Flip Flopz. I'd rather stay home and dig for clams.

Stacey V.

Yelp
We were looking forward to seeing the Soul Cruiser's. We personally went ahead to get reservations. Party of 10. When we got there they wanted us to pay a cover. Said we had a reservation and recognized the waitress. They let us in. Carded the 2, 23 year olds. Totally good! The 19 year old they treated so poorly because she was 19. Some rule about no one allowed between 16-20 years old. We had two 13 year olds with us and they said nothing. It was a family dinner. Again, said we cleared this previously. The waitress was very nice. The "bouncer" reluctantly let us in because of the circumstances. Made our 19 year old feel embarrassed. It was harassment although he denied it. To add insult to injury, he came over to the table with a wristband for her and said, "If I catch you drinking anything more than a water, I'm asking you all to all leave." I had enough. I'm not paying a large amount of money to eat bar food and have our 19 year old feel badly because of her age. "It was her birthday on the 12th and I was going to tip the band to sing happy birthday. I did everything to avoid this problem and make it a good day with no hassle. The owner told me they had a problem in the past. Understood. The problem was the bouncers behavior. The owner condoned it and made excuses. Told me the reason the waitress reserved the table was because they thought they would have a slow tonight. The only people I feel something for is the waitress and the band. I appreciate good help and would have taken care of them. This musician family will never frequent this establishment.

Yelp
Looked fun from the outside but weren't able to get past the rudest bouncers ever. Confiscated and would not give back my 26 year old brother's ID because they were certain "it wasn't him". My brother had multiple cards with his name on it, could validate all his info and as his sister was willing to prove it was him but these guys didn't want to hear any of it. Had to go down the street and get police officers to get the bouncers to give him his ID back. Serious power trip. Save yourself the trouble and go to some of the other fun bars in the area that wont harass you when you try to give their bar some business.

Bernadette S.

Yelp
The bartenders are great, and the drinks are immaculate, but let me tell you those bouncers are rude! Kicked my friends out for not having a PA or NJ ID. Crazy.

Cassie L.

Yelp
Service wasn't great. Waitress was very slow and very rude. She also made it a point to come up to my group while we were leaving to let us know that our tip wasn't high enough for her liking and asked us to fix it. The food isn't very good. Also most employees were not wearing masks.

Jill D.

Yelp
Normally I love this bar, but I am extremely dismayed at the staff's completely cavalier attitude toward mask wearing. My server had her mask dangling around her ear every time she came to our table, and every other employee I saw had their mask around their chin exposing at all times. On top of that, I sat next to the host stand and saw them admit many patrons with no face masks on at all. It is extremely careless and dangerous, and I will not be back.

Alex M.

Yelp
Our friend couldn't get into the bar because he was wearing a tank top, which does not have sleeves. However, many males inside Keenan's were wearing basketball jerseys-which of course also do not have sleeves. Very hypocritical of the bar and the bouncers took a girls real ID!!! Craziness and not in a good way.

Yelp
Silky is the best bartender, wish every bartender was as happy as this man umm why am I still writing not sure?? Silky forever also anyone complaining about a drunk girl that's me so say it to my face
google avatar

Joshua N.

Yelp
There's more than 3 bars here, I think it's technically 7. This place is kicking when the others are struggling and that says it all. Thursday night and the others are at 30-40% while this one is at 80% capacity. This place is designed to cater to people to have a good time, and that's what it does best. There's plenty of party bars here but this is the only one worth visiting.

Pete S.

Yelp
Stopped in to have a couple of drinks JD and listen. To some live music but was totally dismayed by the lack of mask wearing by staff. Some didn't even have a mask like our bartender. I would say less than 50% of that staff has masks on properly. We won't be back EVER!

Dominick G.

Yelp
Went to Keenan's for the first time this past weekend. It just so happened that North Wildwood was celebrating with a country music festival. The band we saw was fantastic.... And I am not crazy about county music. The atmosphere just seemed right. The staff was personal and friendly and even though it was packed, it was not difficult getting drinks for our table. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
The bouncers both nights refused real ID's and used profanity to "kick us out". Extremely unprofessional and not very cleanly handling of ID's. Will not and don't recommend anyone to go, especially if planning to have a nice night. Terrible service.

Yelp
Bouncer power trip beware. Extremely handsy staff who use excessive force with no reasoning (To both men and women) but then will be quick to call the police over if you ask a question of "what did I do?" more than once. Saw a guy get picked up by the neck by a bouncer and dragged out for just standing. Go to "exit 6" where they will actually have respect for you and a nice staff.

Yelp
First off this place makes money hand over fist and the owners have not done a thing to update and/or make the place even remotely appealing. It is truly a dump and smells like a cross between cat urine, vomit and doo doo.. Went there for a reunion and, following the reunion mind you, they had advertised that Coronas were $2.50 until close. Someone we were with was charged $5.00 dollars and when had asked the bartender about the special, he told her it didn't apply. She mentioned the signage INSIDE THE BAR that clearly stated that they were $2.50 to which the the bartender responded "Yeah, go hire a lawyer". Are you serious??!?!?!?!? The same night we went up to the bar and got a few Coronas. When they came out (warm mind you) without a lime we asked for a few limes. The same bartender proceeded to walk away and began talking with some of his cool dude buddies. A few minutes later he walked by and we asked AGAIN for a few limes. At that point he grabs a big bucket of limes, throws it on the bar and says " Is that enough limes for you?". Honestly steer real clear of this place it is a rip off and utterly disgusting.

Yelp
Terrible low class vodka, must request 3 Olives. It's pretty large with various sections including bar areas, live music and a dance floor with a DJ! Fabulous place to get your dance on down the shore! Packed dance floor and just all around great place to hit up with your girls for a night of ladies debauchery.

Yelp
Post-dinner were looking for music, atmosphere and drinks. The band was closing down by the time we arrived around 10-ish (bummer - think the headliner cancelled) but live music would have been awesome. And ample space for a dance floor! The outdoor space is huge with multiple bars and lots of tables. And the space was still packed. This is definitely a kind of bar where people of any age are welcome - the barely legal crowd dressed racily or that crowd's grandparents. Tattoos, short shorts, pinky rings, all on display. Beer prices on a Saturday night around $4 - $5. We weren't charged any cover. Definitely a solid spot on the Wildwood bar scene.

Yelp
So have been there for two nights for Boots on the Beach. The first night the music was ok. Able to handle the crowd. Good for a beer and music. Last night went and music was poor. Ordered burger, fries, she order roast beef. The food came out late and cold. Rolls appeared to soggy. Was a zero star bar food. Will return for the bar and depending on the music but not for the food
