DELICIOUS! BLTG sandwich is great. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, and I also added Turkey. Toasted bread was outstanding. Generous portions of ingredients. Everything tastes fresh. The bacon was cooked to perfection. This place also has wonderful breakfast sandwiches.

Google
Dude! This breakfast sandwich is fire! I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich plus added bacon and I can't begin to tell you how often I recall the taste of that sandwich daily. I'm actually trying to diet and gawd this tasty place is not productive. This is the type of breakfast sandwich you make at home because you can make it your way and no one else gets it right...this place makes your breakfast sandwich. Buttery, savory and with the bacon salty! Just what Mondays call for. The service can be a little hipster, meaning lackluster, depending on who you get but this is the Bay, I've dealt with way worst and a little sugar goes a long way...at times. Try to kill em with a smile. 😁 Small location and I've personally never eaten on site, I'm always taking into the office or home and that's says a lot that a takeaway hot sandwich is still 'momma's homemade good' after 15 min+ transport.

Google
I have no idea how they fit 8 kinds of awesome in this breakfast sandwich! Get Brian’s special, it’s loaded with bacon, spinach, egg and a huge slice of avocado. A little melted cheese and a perfectly toasted English muffin filled my belly with joy. It was perfect every single bite! As a sandwich should be it was busting at the seams and a little bit messy. I️ have no review for the coffee (I️ sipped a chamomile tea) but I️ would go out of my way for the sandwich alone. First experience here and the staff was friendly without being overwhelming. The music is pumping and atmosphere is mellow for nearly 8 in the morning. Sit at the bar and watch the traffic pass by while you bliss out on some fantastic grub!

Easy to find with Google maps. Free uncovered parking. Limited seating with only five tables inside. Love their breakfast menu.

Google
Ordered the Bryan special and substituted the bacon for sausage (good size patty).big breakfast sandwich compared to other places if you love avocado this sandwich is for you definitely coming back wen I’m in the area.

Google
the best kept secret in the bay area....no lie. All of their sandwiches will leave you with a forever craving that will make you go out of your way, stay and hang around to digest then order another!!!!! bagel, cream cheese & lox. ....to SO SO DAM GOOD!!!!!!

Google
The beacon egg and cheese on an English muffin was delicious. One of the best I've had since moving to the Bay Area.

Google
Based on previous reviews I ordered Brian’s special and they delivered! The bacon was super crispy and the avocado slices lived up to the hype. The lovely lady who helped me out was super friendly. It’s a stacked sandwich so I recommend eating it there fo sho.

Yelp
Food and coffee was really good. Got a bacon egg and cheese with cream cheese on an everything bagel. The guy behind the counter was super nice and very straightforward and I appreciate that. The music was very fitting to the vibe. Up beat to help you feel awake still and keep conversation going amongst the homie.

Yelp
This is a destination of delight! Today's avocados weren't ripe enough to serve, so Brian's Sandwich was not available. The owner suggested the Salmon Scramble and I loved it! A delicious and delicate flavor on a toasted English muffin was a perfect treat. Great coffee and music made for a wonderful start to the day. There's easy parking and easy on & off the freeway. Enjoy!

Yelp
This is probably the BEST breakfast sandwich spot I've ever eaten at. The food tastes so fresh and was delicious! I can't even begin to explain how amazing the food is here and can't wait to go back again! Friendly staff, clean environment and amazing food!! Highly recommended!

Yelp
My best friend that is an Oakland local brought me here for breakfast sandwiches and OMG it's a total hidden gem! The sandwich is simple, egg, cheese and sausage on an English muffin but it is amazing! I don't know what sorcery they use to keep the cheese gooey throughout the entire time you're eating the sandwich but it's a game changer! Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Yelp
Tucked away off a block from the Park Street Bridge is a hole in the wall with perhaps some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the Bay Area. We tried two different versions of the Brian's Special: the usual one with bacon and another with sausage. Definitely expected the sausage to be better, but somehow, even after a 20 minutes, the bacon was still so crisp and hot. But the best part about this sandwich is that it is absolutely LOADED with each piece. Egg and spinach cuts the oiliness, avocado brings the creaminess, and bacon adds the satisfying crunch to make each bite just as perfect as the last. We'll be back. And as a separate shout-out, we also ordered 4 sandwiches and they turned them out quickly! Great food delivered with great service at a great value.

Yelp
This place is by itself in a weird location, it's right by the exit going to 880S and the bridge that goes between Alameda and Oakland. It's small and cozy but the drinks are good. It's a nice place to chill for a bit and get some work done.

Yelp
Brian's Sandwich was super tasty! They toasted the English muffin perfectly, it was super crispy on the outside but still soft inside. They do NOT skimp on the avocado that's for sure look at how thicc she is!! We had hot sauce on the side which made it even better. Soo flavorful, I enjoyed how they incorporated the spinach with the egg that was seasoned well, not too salty. The bacon added a nice crunch to the creaminess of the avocado and cheese. I ordered the special and I added egg to it which was an additional $4!! Inflation at its finest. This was also tasty but not for the price in my opinion. Maybe because the Brian Sandwich was only $12.95 vs my $16.95 lolol. Still good but def go for the Brian. Nice little spot to enjoy a breakfast sandwich when you're craving it

Yelp
I really like this cute little spot. They've got great food and service. I first came a few years ago for their breakfast sandwich and then again the other day when I was rushing to work and hadn't eaten breakfast. The bread was nice and warm, eggs, bacon, and cheese all blended perfectly together. It's just an excellent bite. The server was friendly and my sandwich came out in good time. I can tell it was freshly prepared. Just a sweet cozy cafe to sit and chill with some good food/coffee on your own or with friends.

Yelp
I'm almost 9months pregnant with twins. I was craving a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I Drove an extra 15mins out the way to this spot for a Egg Bacon and Cheese Breakfast sandwich. This is what I get . Highly disappointing. The bacon was so crispy it started breaking off, the egg was fried very hard, way too hard! Based off all the Yelp pictures I didn't think I had to specify how I wanted my eggs and bacon cooked. If it's anything, The lady at the front desk was very nice.. I noticed she was talking to someone else (another lady) behind the counter, perhaps that's why my breakfast sandwich turned out the way it did ...

Yelp
You would never guess it, but this place has fantastic breakfast sandwiches. For something so basic they make them very tasty. Everything from the English muffin to the tasty cheese and generous amount of egg and good meat portion. I had bacon and my husband had sausage and both were fantastic. The flavor and execution of each component were fabulous. Also enjoyed very good coffee while there. Small place with a few seats but well worth the stop.
google avatar

Hanna B.

Yelp
My husband was always raving about their coffee and how friendly the store owner is, as he commutes by the Lake Merritt Bart station. Today I had a chance to stop by, and he was so right!! Their drip coffee is Super flavorful with depth, and I was surprised how much froth it came with on top! I ordered a breakfast sandwich & it was a generous amount and bread was excellent - crunchy and soft. I'll have to give him a ride more often!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a cute little local coffee shop! They have some sandwiches and breakfast items, though I just came through for an iced coffee. They have banana flavor as a coffee option so I tried it and it was really good!

Yelp
We were just looking for a place that serves solid breakfast sandwich and so glad we found Kefa Coffee!!! Our barista was super friendly and helpful. We got simple sausage egg and cheese sandwiches and a couple of coffees. These sandwiches were so delicious! It's simple but so well made - the English muffin was probably one of the best I've ever have, fluffy, perfectly toasted, nice crisp without being dry. The sausage was flavorful and right amount of fatty. It all came together so perfectly. Sometimes that exactly what you need - simple but well executed :)
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
We just happened to drive by and needed a quick coffee and breakfast sandwiches to go! Service was excellent. Everyone was really nice and food came out quickly. I had just a plain iced almond milk latte and a veggie sandwich on sesame bagel. So good! Espresso was good and strong. Bagel sandwich was fresh. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy - lot parking.
google avatar

Francois T.

Yelp
I did not have a decent experience. My rating is based on Customer Service and I try not to give bad reviews but I felt it was necessary for this one. Barista was rude and orders made after ours were given out before we received ours. Maybe I came on a bad day but honestly there are plenty of other coffee spots in the area that I'd rather go to before here.
google avatar

Yelp
I was a huge fan of Kefa Coffee. Haven't been there in two years. Now I'm a fan that goes there when I really need a coffee and there is no other close by coffee shop. The coffee is fine, the food that "was" years ago is no longer. The sandwiches were a work of art, years ago, now it's basic standard fare. It's good, not great based on what I'm finding.

Yelp
Nice little shop! Breakfast sandwiches were spot-on. Coffee drinks were great. Good vibe with friendly service. Free WiFi. Don't come here. It's mine now. :-)

Yelp
Fantastic, friendly, and hidden gem here in Jingletown! Little corner coffee shops like this always leave you wanting to come back for more. Dog friendly.

Leilani R.

Yelp
We come here every time we fly into Oakland airport. Chill vibe, hella good coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Certainly a hidden gem. Will absolutely be back.

Yelp
After an early rainy misty morning hike my boy decided to take me here. I have to say I enjoyed my cup of Ethiopian coffee with almond milk which is my favorite kind. I even surprisingly enjoyed his banana mocha latte with almond milk it wasn't that artificial or overwhelming banana flavor, it was subtle but yet present. Kinda like when you dip a slice of banana in fondue. For me the star was the. Egg spinach and provolone sandwich on English muffin. I love eggs so I might not be the guy you want to say this was good but it was, I might have been puffing a lil something but I don't think that influenced the taste I loved it.
google avatar

Anna N.

Yelp
So happy that I finally got to stop by here for some breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the Salmon Scramble and my friend got the Brian's Special. Both were delicious. I like how they were very generous with the avocado in the Brian's Special. At first, we thought the English muffin was a bit too toasted, but after a few bites, it was not too bad. I also ordered the Banana Mocha Latte, which was okay. I couldn't really taste the banana. Parking might be difficult, since there is a small lot and it is near the freeway entrance, which can get pretty crowded during rush hour. But you can always order ahead through Yelp if you are in a rush and just want to swing by and pick it up. But keep in mind that their sandwiches are cooked to order so it might be at least 15 minutes. The interior isn't too special, but who cares! I'm here for their breakfast sandwiches!
google avatar

Mel W.

Yelp
This place is really cute. Sometimes this area can look a little sketchy but this place elevates the neighborhood. The Banana Mocha was sooo good. We also ordered the Brian's special and a egg sausage cheese sandwich. The English muffin was perfectly crisp and the whole thing was delicious. The service was super friendly and we will definitely continue to support this little gem.

Yelp
I honestly cannot believe I am writing a bad review about Kefa's Coffee. This place literally treats you the best! My daughter and I came from Fremont to get a Brian Sandwich. We literally drove by a million Jack in Boxes, Wendy's and a Chick-fil-A to come here. We get here and are so excited to get our sandwiches only to find out the kitchen shuts down at 12:50pm we arrived at 12:53pm! Are you serious! I totally understand the Pandemic has caused businesses to close early however, we're trying to patronage in your establish and bring money to the community instead of fast food chains. The lady working in there was very rude. I am still in shock! After pleading my case and asking for the service she was still rude and put in my order. If your place of business is open from 7am-1:00pm. You should honor that.

Yelp
I stopped here on my way to work thinking I'd grab a quick coffee and bagel. The place was empty, the girl at the counter was on the phone, she eventually took my order, so much enthusiasm (can you read my sarcasm). I asked how much longer it would be at around the 7 min mark; it's black coffee and a toasted bagel. I called my job and told them I'd be 5 mins late, I continued to wait...it took 15 mins for her to give me my order. The coffee wasn't even spectacular, I was late for work for subpar drip coffee!! I say all that to say, go here when you have nothing else to do or if you just want to hang out.

Warren Z.

Yelp
The best coffee around, hands down! They also have these great breakfast sandwiches and all of them are great. They are made to order and they're so good that there can be a bit of a wait. Highly suggested to call ahead 20 minutes any breakfast sandwich order.

Yelp
Kefa Coffee is a great little coffee shop in the Jingletown neighborhood of Oakland a short walk over the bridge that connects to Alameda. Me & my friend recently met up here for a cup of tea. I had the Green Rooibos & she had the Honeybush. Both of the herbal teas were from local tea company Numi & there was a selection of a dozen Numi teas on offer. I am a big fan of Rooibos yet am not sure what the difference was w/ the Green Rooibos as it tasted & looked similar to regular Rooibos tea. In any event I still enjoyed my tea. My friend enjoyed here tea as well as it was her first time having Honeybush & she thought it would be sweet yet it wasn't. Very friendly service & has a nice community vibe here along w/ cool local art on the walls as there was photos from a local photographer on the walls. There were four vegetarian breakfast sandwiches on offer yet they all had eggs. Food for a hungry vegan here would be the Veggie sandwich w/o cheese that is available after 11am. It would be great if they were open later as this is clearly a spot for morning birds & early risers or to meet in the early part of the afternoon as they close daily at 1:30pm. The hours are: M-F: 6:30-1:30pm Sat & Sun: 8-1:30pm I wish they had some better vegan options yet will still return for some herbal tea as is a nice spot to sip tea & visit w/ a friend & the herbal tea selection is dialed.

Yelp
I'm so glad I chose this place for breakfast. It's got really nice yin and yang going on inside. The bagel sandwich was superb, the cheese was perfectly melted onto the bagel (none of that goes to waste like the McDonald's cheese on the paper smh). I saw the banana mocha was popular on yelp so I decided to try it even though banana flavored things can be wishy washy for me- I LOVED IT. Also a perfect temperature when I received it ALSOOOOO THE FUCKING HOT SAUCE. I can eat super hot fire foods and this hot sauce oof I haven't felt that alive in a while. It was so hot I loved it. I would buy bottles of it if I could. Just ask for it on the side! I don't think you can go wrong with any sandwich here because they have great consistency and they keep it kinda simple in the best way. There's also tons of artwork curated from local artists- she said they're eventually going to have prices to sell them. The service was great, the woman who helped us was super sweet and re-warmed up my coffee for me too- thank you girl!

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! Good food and coffee! It's super cozy inside and the music is such a vibe! Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast sandwich! Delicious and the sweetest workers. Location is a little rough but parking can be found near by.

Yelp
Unless you're looking for it, you probably end up at Kefa Coffee by taking a wrong turn trying to get to Alameda, but if you're looking for a great breakfast sandwich, it's worth a visit! The "Brian" is what I've seen hyped and it's HUGE with bacon, egg, spinach, avocado and cheese (not my pic https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kefa-coffee-oakland?select=oFL3F0iOWO0DS6KBObGFlg), but I went simplier with Spinach, Egg, & Cheese which is still a substantial sandwich (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kefa-coffee-oakland?select=JOopO9RxoX5yQSoQO3LvHA). I like the eggs are cooked to order here (not nuked) and then a handful of fresh spinach is folded in (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kefa-coffee-oakland?select=xCRSP13SJ8Dq22pT4yOyoA&userid=DsHsuhUvyyW_75zFcJxkKw). The buttered english muffin adds some richness to it, though a little underseasoned overall (but that was easily remedied) Too bad they don't do half breakfast sandwiches (like Autobahn Cafe by Jack London) as that would probably do it for me . . . but I liked it enough, I ate the whole thing anyway ;-) As a bonus, while I ate my sandwich, I witnessed a real life Seinfeld moment as two people almost came to blows over a parking spot . . . do Millennials get this reference??

Brittany W.

Yelp
Omg this REALLY IS THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH IN OAKLAND!!!! It's tucked away in tiny spot in Jingletown and it's not on my way anywhere really. But I had some time, needed a pick me up and had some free time. Man this was worth it! I had the Brian's and it was fantastic. I will have to make it on my way more often!!! If you love a breakfast sandwich like I do, it really is the best.

Yelp
I've been coming to Kefa for over 9+ years. Love it here. Never had a bad experience & I wouldn't even call this experience necessarily "bad". I know that if I want my food to be ready when I get there to call in because it does take at least 10-15 minutes for them to cook everything freshly. Which I figured Kefa prides them self on, I can even recall that they had a sign up some time ago about it "10-15 minutes for them to make the breakfast sandwich so call it in or be prepared to wait." Something along those lines. I went here last Saturday call in per usual & everything was great and delicious. Still hot by the time I got home. The breakfast sandwich was so good that I went again today & I had actually time to sit & enjoy my food there. I ordered and have no problem with waiting for it, but it came out like 2 minutes after I sat down. I'm oh okay kinda surprised I look and the breakfast sandwich I ordered (which was bacon, egg, cheese always get this one) and it's just looked burnt or like it was an order was left and re heated. The cheese was burnt and had that in tuned made the egg not at good and burnt as well, even the English muffin was burnt & I know they use wheat English muffins. So I know to some extent it would be on the tan/brownish color. And whatever bacon that was hanging out that sandwich was burnt as well like black burnt. I should have said something but I'm not one to complain & I'm like it could can't be that bad. I ended up pick off all the burn off the sandwich and it just looked kinda of mangled & I just tried to eat whatever was I could salvage. : ( kefa wants going on ?? I was disappointed & I love it here !!! Like this is $10 breakfast sandwiches so I would expect it be fresh & not burnt. Definitely going to take a break & hopefully when I do decide to give kefa another try it won't be like this.

Loz P.

Yelp
Been frequenting Kefa coffee for years now, my wife and I love their breakfast sandwiches. Their bacon egg and cheese is one of the best around!
google avatar

Marina M.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place. It is simple and cute and the perfect spot to just stop off and grab coffee or a breakfast sandwich. I could have stayed all day. The staff were friendly and the food came out super quick. The selections of cold drinks in the fridge were fun and good and inexpensive too. Love the outdoor seating also. I loved it here.
google avatar

Elisha A.

Yelp
Great for when you are rushing to school and work and didn't have enough time to eat breakfast. I like this little shop a lot. They have a great little selection of breakfast get ups to start your day off right such as: sandwiches pastries and bagels. I'm not a big fan of coffee but a lot of my connoisseur coffee friends says "they have good tasting coffee and it's never stale." Those compliments mean a lot when you are a college student depending on those caffeine boost to get you through studying. Customer service is always pretty swift and friendly. I also appreciate the free pastry samples left out to try each morning.
google avatar

Clarence B.

Yelp
My favorite breakfast spot in Oakland owners super friendly sandwiches are super huge ingredients of fresh music is off the hook you can buy art off the wall. It's the spot to be in

James B.

Yelp
Holy smokes, I was not expecting this! We came in driving towards the freeway and I needed to make a coffee stop, we were a bit hungry and needed to get something quick. I've seen it a few times before but never stopped in, and I'm so glad I did! I got the Brian's special sandwich, my wife got the lolllllll lolllllll and bagel sandwich with egg, cheese and spinach. Thats probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Super loaded up with hella fresh avocado, crispy perfect bacon and the eggs weren't dry. My wife loved her bagel sandwich too, she also got an iced vanilla latte and I got the banana mocha, they were excellent! Paired with the breakfast sandwiches, absolutely phenomenal. The girl working was super nice and helpful, I didn't catch her name but I'm pretty sure she has a steve Zissou tattoo on her arm. Anyways, this went from a place to drive past to a must stop.

Yelp
Very nice little coffee shop taking proper Covid precautions. It has some cool wall art which is nice to see. If you are new to enjoying coffee or trying to get into drinking it plain, then this would be a GREAT place to start! Ordered a large drip coffee with nothing added. It seemed to be a light roast with a very light body and faint hints of the deep, rich coffee flavors I usually get with other roasts. It started off feeling a bit oily but eventually that subsided to pleasant earthy sweetness. It's not quite herbal, but I would almost compare it to tree bark in the spring (if that makes any sense). Definitely a spot to take people who are new to coffee or new to drinking it with no additives.
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite spot to pickup a quick breakfast sandwich. The Brian's special is so good !!! I often substitute sausage for bacon. Staff is friendly and they kick out the sandwich pretty quick. Highly recommend grabbing a breakfast sandwich here if in the area.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Great place! Barista is really fantastic. She is fast and consistent! Go-to place for us to stop before we hop on the freeway.
google avatar

Sharma H.

Yelp
I'll change this if the sandwich and coffee I'm waiting for ends up being an otherworldly experience but their COVID service is to have a single person taking orders and making beverages which means every customer spends 5+ minutes ordering ... since I placed my order online, and showed up when it was supposed to be ready, I'm pretty annoyed to be waiting in line for another 15 minutes. UPDATE : the sandwiches were truly delicious so if you have 45 min to wait then this place is excellent. But could be much improved by speeding up their process a bit.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I'm in love with this place. It's my go to spot for breakfast sandwiches on the way to work. The best part is that they have the order online through yelp. Which I recommend because it does take a little time for them to make the breakfast sandwiches. Sandwiches are alsway made to order and they are all delicious. I usually get my fave, which is the Turkey, spinach and egg with no cheese on an English muffin, sooo freaking good. The only thing I would say that's a bit frustrating is accessing the parking lot, it's kind of funky. They are located on the corner, which is also the freeway entrance. Other than that, great breakfast sandwiches.
google avatar

Liliana N.

Yelp
The food here is chefs kiss good! My bf and I were in the area apartment hunting and stumbled upon Kefa Coffee on Yelp. We decided to order ahead since it said there was a 30 minute wait and we still had some time to go before getting there. Their breakfast sandwiches were definitely worth the 30 minute wait! I got the turkey, spinach, egg and avocado sandwich and it was one of the best taking breakfast sandwiches I had ever had! The bread they use is like a sourdough not bagel but bagel...idk how to explain it but it's BOMB. There's also a small parking lot nearby and ample street parking. I'll definitely be back to try their drinks since I didn't get to order anything last time around. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
Mehhhh. Checked yelp right after landing in Oakland international airport and was starving so decided to come here. The coffee shop is tiny with only two workers, and about three tables available for customers. Sandwiches are made from scratch but take forever and a day since only one person manages the kitchen while the other person manages drinks up front and takes the money. Ordered the BRIAN'S BREAKFAST SANDWICH, LOX BAGEL, COFFEE, and SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE SANDWICH. BRIAN'S BREAKFAST SANDWICH was probably the best out the bunch. Decent size and came with egg, bacon, spinach, and avocado. Bacon was extremely salty but everything else was good. 4 stars*** LOX BAGEL- pass... The bagel was hard as a rock and upon me biting into it it scratched the roof of my mouth. Smoked salmon wasn't anything special and was a bit on the skimpy side. I guess ever since I went to Russ and Daughters in NYC it has been hard for me to find a good lox bagel at any other place. 1 star*** SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE SANDWICH Basic sandwich which reminds me of McDonald's egg and sausage mcmuffin. 3 stars**** Bathroom is through the kitchen door and is marked with an "employees only"sign Parking is limited to about four spaces on the side of the coffee house due to construction on the street.
google avatar

Thomas K.

Yelp
Above average coffee and friendly service! The breakfast sandwiches are also delicious. However, my sandwiches sometimes come out with small pieces of other food items stuck to the bottom of the breading, which leaves cleanliness and consistency some to be desired.
google avatar

Caye Q.

Yelp
I'm a fan of this place because its such a neighborhood coffee shop. Locals come here and greet each other by first name. HOWEVER, you cannot come here if you are in a rush. Everything is made to order and made with precision which is found in its coffee and food. Also its pretty pricey. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 large coffees which was about $32. YIKES. Nonetheless, I'd still come back. Honorable mention: Brian's sandwich - DEEEELICIOUS!

Yelp
Okay, this is just for my visit on 4/3. Normally Kefa makes the best breakfast sandwich in Oakland. Hands down. The BEST. Today, not so much. I waited the normal 15 minutes it takes to get my sandwich. It's cooked to order, so I have no problem with that at all. But when it arrived, the bacon looked pretty dang dark. Like verging on black. I don't really like to send food back, so I gave it a shot, but man, this bacon was burnt to a crisp and tasted like charcoal. I showed the woman working at the register, but I guess my complaints were too nice. She agreed the bacon was burnt and said she would tell the kitchen. And that's ALL THAT HAPPENED. No apology, no offer to remake, no refund. I didn't even get a goodbye thanks for coming. What a let down. This was a pretty far cry from my normal experience here and made me pretty sad. Bacon-egg-cheese sandos will never be the same again.

Yelp
Visited this place a few years ago and was incredibly pleased with the breakfast sandwiches! After the gym I was really craving a high quality breakfast sandwich nearby and this was the spot :D I got the bacon, egg and cheese on a English muffin and it was DELICIOUS! My only critique would be the option to have cheddar cheese instead of swiss just because that's more down my alley.. I came back the next day and added spinach to the B-E-C sandwich and it was AWESOME! I recommend calling in if you're on the go because it takes about 15-20 minutes. They're reputable and busy specially during commute hours.

Yelp
Very rarely do I utter the phrase "could not be better" but this place deserves it. The location leaves a bit to be desired but it's charming and has character. The food, the service, o.m.g. everything is perfect!!! We come here every time were in the bay area for their wonderful latte with a ristretto pull. You can't go wrong with the sabdwiches, on this occasion we split a Brian's special, we were both full after! We were even joking around inside about having an affogato but that we shouldn't since we were planning on eating breakfast later, when the barista brought us out our sandwich she surprised us with an affogato, on the house!! it was such a surprise, and it was delightful. To be honest I've had affogato before and knew I liked it, but I won't be going back to the other place now that I know how it SHOULD taste. Grab your kids, grab your wife, grab your friends and come down here RIGHT NOW!!! p.s. if the owner is reading this: GET A MICROWAVE!!!!!!!! Very annoying having coffee go cold and no way to warm it up. I know Italians (or batistas) don't believe in microwaves but we aren't in Italy! :) Ciao.
