Kei Coffee House

We came here on a whim while visiting from LA and I was blown away by the sweet corn latte. I’m always a little weary of signature lattes because they can be too sweet and lose the coffee notes. That being said, I was very pleasantly surprised with my drink and would easily put it in my top 5 lattes of all time! It’s not overly sweet but has a light yet luxurious taste with hints of coffee that keeps you coming back for more. It was truly the perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up! The staff is so incredibly nice, especially the young man working at the register who was happy to answer our questions about the different drinks and recommendations. He also shared that if we didn’t like our drink, their policy is to remake it or exchange it for something else - no questions asked. We were there on a Saturday afternoon so there was a long line but it moved fast between the 2 cashiers + self-checkout kiosk. I only wish there was more seating indoors as a lot of tables were taken up by folks who were working on their laptops (can’t blame them though, seems like a great place to get work done). Thankfully they have an outdoor area with seating so it was nice to hang out on a beautiful day with our fabulous drinks. Will def look for any excuse to return to the area and come back to Kei! Keeping my fingers crossed they expand to LA!

Decent price. Good and quality coffee. You can order at the kiosk or the counter the wait for them to make a drink take a while. It’s about 5 to 10 minutes because it’s really high volume of customer here. Beautiful decorations, there plenty of spaces with table private area, and I love the window that you can see the sun from the top Wifi available overall, definitely a good place to visit and highly recommend it. if you go on the weekend it’s gonna be super busy and hard to find parking.

Great cafe vibe with a lot of space and seats. It does get busy especially after 11:00am, but there’s still room inside and outdoors. Outlets are a rarity though, so come charged if you plan to stay for long. Prices are good. Starbucks down the streets sells a 16oz caramel burlée latte for $6.45. While Kei Coffee has their Sweet Corn Latte for $7. So for .15 more you can support local business and drink something actually interesting. There’s food. Good food too. The spam musubi is snack sized but filling, and they have spaghetti dishes if you’re hungrier. I like the musubi cause it’s tasty and I can actually afford it. It’s a solid place with great drinks and vibes. It looks nice too! I kinda hope they start doing events since it just looks good here. Parking is rough.

Kei Coffee is an excellent spot for consistently high-quality coffee and great service. The drinks are well-balanced, flavorful, and made with care, without being overly sweet or diluted. Great place to study while having coffee, overall a 4.5/5 (rounding up to 5), would definitely go back. Vibe: Easy 5/5. It’s very aesthetic Food and Drink Quality: 5/5. Everything was great even the standard drip coffee Price: 3/5. Prices are high for summer 2025 comparisons, most drinks are $6-7 and food and pastries can be $5-12 Bathrooms: There are two gender neutral bathrooms in the hallway but there was always a line when we were there Seating and Outlets: Plenty of tables and outlets, though many people crowd tables and there are a few 6-8 people tables that some people share. Plenty of outside spots too

We went two days in a row. The first day, it was a WOW, 5 stars, even with a line and no seating available. The food was delicious and unique (cookies). We drove from Sherman Oaks to have coffee. On the second day, the line was big, again. But we decided to stay and wait for a table. Sadly, the variety of iced coffee we ordered again, was terrible 😢, pure water. We went to the counter and asked for a remake, and the offer was a container with more seeds for more flavor.

Great spot to co-work, meet up or just solo hang. Hotteok latte was a 8.5/10 and satiated my Korea-travel nostalgia. Prices are decent and on-par with the quality expected from the Kei Concepts brand. Remember to keep your receipt to log into the WiFi.

Caught them on a bad day… They were out of a lot of the things I wanted. Breakfast Burritos stop at 4pm which is understandable, we’re not at Sonic… But they were also out of Egg Sandos, Spam Musubis, and a majority of Baked Goods (Pate Chaud, Cookies). Settled with some pasta, popcorn chicken, two of the four remaining croissants that were on display, and some drinks… They tossed in some freebies because of the situation, which was appreciated. Drinks were solid, girlfriend liked the refresher the best. Pastas weren’t a hit but they were filling and not tiny Panera Bread portions. Popcorn chicken was the standout. Welp that was my experience. Would I comeback? Maybe. Seems like after a certain time, it’s a game of “What we have, is what we have.” .

Kei Coffee House is a great cafe, the first thing I noticed was how aesthetic it was inside. The decor is really nice inside in a modern upscale way and plenty of tables to do work or sip your drink. The lattes were super unique. I enjoyed my banana toffee latte which had a thick layer of foam on top. It wasn't too sweet which let the small pieces of sweet toffee shine. For a $7 drink this is the level of quality I expect and I would recommend to others looking for fun lattes. My partner got the sweet corn latte which she enjoyed. The flavor of the sweet corn in the foam is noticeable. I also got the beef pate chaud which they warmed up. It was delicious and hit the spot. The puff pastry exterior was crispy and flaky, and the beef was juicy. It's very crumby by nature though so be careful. The drinks came out pretty fast but the beef pate chaud took a bit of extra time to come out.

Been going to Kei Coffee House for a while and this is my first time trying their soft serve. Really liked the flavor of the ice cream, I got the Pandan Coconut. The flavor is prominent enough that you can tell that that is the flavor, but not overpowering or artificial, I really liked the flavor. I also really liked the toasted coconut on top, it adds that extra punch of coconut flavor and is nice texturally too. The reason I'm docking a star is 3 main reasons: 1) Portion size- it was $7 for this amount and you can kind of see my hand in the photo for reference but it's TINY. Wish you got a bit more. 2) The cup- In my opinion, this would be better served in a cup or bowl. The cup is so small and trying it was hard to scoop the ice cream without the coconut kinda spilling off since everything was so cramped. Also the paper cup doesn't really align with the kind of nicer vibe I feel like Kei goes for, it felt kinda cheap. 3) Large coconut pieces- i LOVE the toasted coconut on top but throughout the ice cream there are thicker cut pieces of coconut and those were just too much. Got in the way and again, with the small cup, every time i tried to scoop the thick coconut would and up getting the ice cream everywhere. I'd like to believe that if you asked for it without those larger pieces, the servers would have no issues making that adjustment. Overall, I liked the ice cream, but probably wouldn't get it again.

This is one of my favorite coffee spots in the Garden Grove/Fountain Valley area! Every time I visit OC I want to come here. The primary reason is that it has corn flavored drinks and they're SO GOOD. I had the iced sweet corn latte, which is a latte topped with a sweet corn cream top and sweet corn drizzle. I recommend taking the first sip without stirring so you can get the pure corny goodness. Its a strong flavor, and reminiscent of Vietnamese corn milk (sữa bắp). Then, mix it all up for a deliciously corn-flavored latte. I also tried the hotteok cookie which was yummy! The base cookie is soft and thick, and the center is topped with a chewy walnut and sesame paste. Really nutty and strong flavor. The pate chaud (meat pie with flakey crust) was freshly warmed and delicious!! Highly recommend. This coffeehouse is part of Kei Concepts group of restaurants (like INI, SUP, ROL, etc.). And it really delivers! The ambience is also really clean, bright, airy, and spacious. And great service!

Review 112/365 Day Challenge I've finally gotten the chance to visit KEI Coffee House on their 1 year anniversary celebration 8.09.25 Arrived here at 8:20 a.m. and there was about 15/20 people ahead of mee in line. Line was moving rapidly and service was great for the amount of foot traction it was getting that morning. Associates were really friendly. It was my first time here and they were kind to answer all questions and received our items in a timely manner. I loved how they had a stand w the signs on to where you were at the line indicated how long the wait would be. Which was helpful and made us customers decide if we wanted to continue to wait in line or what not. During their 1 year anniversary celebration they were offering a few line up of their Popular top drinks for a special price of $ 3.65. So i had to get all 3 to try. What i ordered ~ Banana Toffee Latte wasn't too over bearing of banana flavor which i loved. It was delicious n i tasted more of the toffee which I love toffee. It's not sweet too surprisingly since it had toffee . ~ Strawberry Matcha Latte was good and subtle. Loved it and wasn't sweet. Highly recommended. ~ Orange Jasmine Tea was really refreshing. Loved this drink actually the most and wasn't too strong for the green tea. I'd definitely get this again to enjoy on a warm summer day or something to quench my thirst. ~ Spicy Miso Egg Sando was delicious. The egg salad itself wasn't spicy at all. It had a hint of the spice which was perfect and the sandwich bread was really soft. Something I'd definitely get again. They offer lots of different pastries including croissants, sandwiches, cookies and small bites. Love the simple contemporary exterior and interior design of this coffee house. With so much spacious seatings indoor and outdoor tables including patio seatings & umbrellas. Very welcoming indeed. I feel like KEI CONCEPTS group never seem to disappoint with their branding including food and environment vibes. The beautiful greeneries tree and plants give it such a complex enjoyable coffee shop to be in. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area or passing thru to get my coffee fix in the future. Located right off Brookhurst street. You can't miss the white individual building.

The Blueberry Yogurt Slush is so good, very similar to Vietnamese or plain tart yogurt. It's super refreshing and a great non-caffeine alternative. Their Hojicha is definitely better than the matcha drinks. Since the last time I've gone, they added a self-serve kiosk. Our drinks came out a few minutes after ordering. They are always busy no matter what time and day you go. All the seats indoors and outdoors were occupied. ig: @cravingswithcat

Been meaning to try this spot for a while now and was finally able to stop by after dinner. The drinks were cool and certainly unique. I wasn't completely blown away but it hit the sweet spot. Wish i was able to try the food, but it was hard after our meal at their other location, INI. My gf's dad did try the cheesecake and he thought it was good. I definitely want to try that breakfast burrito they got on the menu the next time around. the location is relatively large for a coffee spot but surprisingly seats were limited lol. Literally every spot is taken by mostly students studying, so be prepared to stand and wait.

Definitely a local's hang out spot! Usually a very busy spot. Parking can be pretty tight when all the surrounding businesses are busy . A traditional (for the most part) Viet spot for coffee and has tons of matcha options. Has a few snacks that are good. I do love the blended coconut matcha! The strawberry matcha i had before - was decent but can't discern it from other places

Tasty but pricey for the size of coffee you get. I wish they offered larger sizes. Vanilla latte $6.25. One hardy gulp and it's gone. I need Venti (20ish ouncer). Super adorable cafe inside, great for hanging out when you have time to sip slowly. Service is always friendly and quick.

Finally tried @keicoffeehouse in OC, a cafe brand under Kei Concepts! We came on a Sunday afternoon, and the cafe was bustling and busy, but service was quick and there was plenty of seating available still. Orders were taken at a kiosk or with a cashier, with the line going by quickly. We tried the Pistachio Quattro Latte and the Double Matcha Latte, along with a matcha cookie on the side Milk alternatives were free, which was a nice plus! The Pistachio Quattro Latte was nice and smooth, coffee flavor was present but not too strong, which I like since I get coffee jitters The Double Matcha Latte was also made with high quality ceremonial matcha, and not too sweet! The matcha cookie had a nice crispy exterior but still chewy and soft inside. Would definitely come back to try out the other drinks, and the Longanisa burrito and pastas caught my attention also to try for next time

Kei Coffee House never misses! Tried the iced banana toffee latte with oat milk and it was definitely a hit! Loved the toffee chocolate bits on the cream top (such a nice touch!). The drink was super smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The service here is always amazing. You can either order from a self-service kiosk or directly with the cashier, which makes things super convenient. We came on a Sunday around 10:30/11am and while individual seating was available, it would've been difficult to find a table for a group to sit at (This place is clearly a popular spot to hang out or get some work done! The space itself is bright, spacious, and modern. Very chill vibes all around. Can't wait to come back to try their seasonal drinks & that longanisa breakfast burrito I keep hearing about!

really cute and aesthetic cafe for hanging out rather than for studying. there's a big seating area but it was packed even on a tuesday, there was nowhere to sit and wait after ordering. the banana matcha latte was pretty mediocre. it had good matcha flavor, but the banana tasted pretty artificial and the drink was so grainy.

[Atmosphere]: The cafe has one of the nicest 1st date vibe for a coffee shop in Orange County, but good luck on finding an available seat on weekends. Why is this cafe always so crowded? Many students actually bring their laptops and just camp out at the tables to study. Heck one time I came here at 9:30 AM on a weekday and the cafe was already 75% packed. There's also an outdoor patio area. [Amenities & special notes]: Utensil are located at the pickup counter. Use self-serve kiosk to earn rewards (if you sign up for the Kei Rewards program). Customers must place an order directly with cashiers for back to school / other special offers. [Menu]: For drinks, Banana Toffee Latte is the top seller. Other popular drinks include Sweet Corn Latte, Matcha Latte. Banana Matcha Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Pandan Coconut Matcha. For food or snacks, the top two popular items are Popcorn Chicken and Breakfast Burrito. I asked the staff about Spicy Mayo Egg Sando and apparently they took it out of the menu. *** Spicy Popcorn Chicken (spicy five spice seasoning popcorn chicken served with a side of yuzu mayo; back-to-school special for $6 on Friday): Not too spicy which wasn't too bad, but yuzu mayo tasted just okay. While popcorn chicken tasted solid, I don't think it was worth $9.50 and thank goodness it was on a special $6 deal. Longanisa Breakfast Burrito (Tater tots, longanisa sausage, cheddar jack cheese, and scrambled eggs. Comes with salsa roja and aji sauce. Available until 4 PM - $13.50): The order came with salsa roja (red sauce) and aji sauce (green sauce). Green sauce tasted a bit more vinegary than I thought. Sausage had a sweet aftertaste and it was quite an interesting burrito. It was not the biggest breakfast burrito I have ever had, but it was big enough to cut in half & save the other portion later for lunch. Banana Toffee Latte (Double Shot Dark Roast with banana toffee sauce, oat milk, salted cream foam, and toffee bits - $7): I thought the drink looked really sweet, but I was actually wrong and the drink wasn't overly sweet. They actually had toffee bits to add the extra texture. No wonder this is the best selling drink. Matcha Latte (hot - $6.50): An excellent matcha latte. *** B-tier for Popcorn Chicken, a-tier Longanisa Breakfast Burrito, and s-tier Banana Toffee Latte & Matcha Latte. While this is my least favorite Kei Concept cafe/restaurants, I can still see myself coming back here from time to time as long as I continue to stick with their s-tier drinks like Banana Toffee Latte or Matcha Latte.

Yall, Kei concepts does not miss! I am so obsessed with their restaurants and of course their coffee house didn't disappoint either. First of all, it's HUGE! But surprisingly packed. This is the kind of spot that seems to not have a lull during the weekdays, but the service is still excellent. There's plenty of seating but because it's so crowded you might have to wait for your preferred spot to open up (or just be open to sharing your table). We went on a weekend as well and it was pretty empty but it was right after they opened. I've been here a couple times now and honestly, can't say I tried anything I didn't like so I'll just say what I ordered (everything is 5/5): Hotteok cookie. This was delicious and kind of tasted like baklava to me? Like nutty and spice and very soft. Hotteok Hojicha latte. See above. Was delicious in good and beverage form. Banana toffee latte. You know when you get a little crumble of something on your latte and you find yourself digging with your straw to get every last morsel? Yeah. It's that good. Pumpkin spice Hojicha latte. Such a fun twist on a holiday fave. Morning bun. Honestly, I thought this was gonna be a but basic but it was so freaking good with the way the cinnamon sugar gets nice and caramelized. Longanisa breakfast burrito. Delicious and a great way to start the day. I will be back very soon.

Everytime I'm in Westminster, I always stop by in the morning to get my day going, I love their strawberry matcha latte and longanisa burrito! The food, drinks, service, and outstanding lounging setting definitely makes me feel welcomed and at home! Love this place!

We were able to visit Kei Coffee House on a random weekday that I was able to take off. Upon entering, you definitely get the coffee shop vibe, with tables, chairs, couches around and people working off their laptops. An awesome hangout place if you ever need one. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and the banana matcha latte. Dare I say, it was perfect because it was not too sweet and just the right balance. You can also taste the freshness of the ingredients used for the drinks. Although we did not try any, there's also cookies and other pastries for purchase. There's a parking lot so no need to worry about needing to find street parking. Pro tip, be a Kei Concept member so you get points for future cashback when you visit this and any of their other places.

It's my second time coming here because it's close by my school but man is it SO packed! Finding parking and a table inside is definitely a challenge, but if you're lucky enough or willing to wait, the space is pretty nice to study at. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito the first time I came, but this time I decided to try the sausage one. Definitely will say that although the bacon one is more expensive, I do prefer it more due to the texture and taste. It's a bit more fatty but the sausage one is just too soft for my liking. But overall, their food seems pretty tasty! As for the drinks, I ordered a vanilla latte because most of their drinks have cream tops which i'm not the biggest fan of, but I was pretty disappointed when I saw they only had 3 milk options: whole milk, oat milk, and macadamia milk. I wished they carried other options too as I personally don't find oat milk to be a healthy alternative. Their coffee in general though, tastes pretty standard and good, not the best coffee i've ever had, but definitely satisfies my cravings. Will probably continue coming here when I need to study for exams, and next time I want to try their pastries and matcha!

The Cream Cheese in the Corn Cheese Cookie is PURE GOLD Parking and seating is a struggle because their so popular! very aesthetic!

Went for the first time and location was nice. It's also final season so it was packed with students. As for the drink, it was good but disappointed that my cup was 80% ice.

Would have placed a Zero Star rating if I could! Went in for a quick drink today with my wife and she ordered a Pistachio Quattro Latte. While she was sipping from the straw, a decently sized strand of hair came out but fortunately she was quick enough to not swallow it (pics of the hair strand attached). Brought the drink and the strand of hair to the attention of the staff and did not receive a single word of apology or compensation (not that I needed a refund) but to not acknowledge your inability to reliably upkeep standard Food Safety practices is questionable and unacceptable. Been a loyal customer of Kei Concepts Restaurants in general and Kei Coffee House specifically for my coffee needs but after this experience we are definitely going from customers for life to goodbye for life!

Visited this location in hopes to sit and study and my partner and I were blessed to have found a chair and table. We came on a Tuesday which was 15% off matchas, we ordered the pandan coconut matcha and it was pretty tasty. I'd say their matcha is more ...grassy... and earthy. If you like a sweeter matcha, this might be hard to get behind. Overall, I didn't mind it too much. Lots of seats available but it does fill up quick and people chill for a while so it takes a minute for chairs to open up, you definitely have to be lucky. Ambiance is nice and clean, you do have to purchase something to gain access to the wifi though. One receipt allows multiple device logins so no need to worry if you want to login your laptop and ipad for example. Wifi expires after 4 hrs

Every time we have visited, this place has been paaaacked! The drinks are worth the wait, though. The interior aesthetic is very nice, modern, and classy. There are many seating options available inside, but you may still struggle to find seats because it tends to be busy and many people stay to study/work for a while. Their wi-fi also has a timed limit and can only be accessed with the password at the bottom of your receipt. The service is always friendly, as well. We will definitely continue to return.

Got a chance to try this place out. When I first walked in I said wow - it was crowded with people standing in line, all the tables were taken. They even have a bar that you can sit at and that was full too. This place offers food and drinks. I got the coconut matcha drink today. Presentation looks beautiful and the drink came out relatively quick considering all the people that was there! Coconut matcha drink- a tad sweet for my taste bud but delicious. For those who are diary cautious- this drink contain zero daily. Just coconut and matcha tea. Parking was not bad either.

I've ordered takeout from here a few times and have enjoyed it so far. I've had both the bacon and sausage breakfast burritos and they are both quite good, the sausage is a little on the sweeter side, so if I had to choose I'd say the bacon is my preferred burrito (though the bacon is thicker cut which may not be a preference for some). The green salsa is super flavorful and pairs well with their red salsa and burritos, so definitely don't skimp on that. On the drinks front, I usually get a strawberry matcha which is good, but recently had the Hotteok matcha and was very pleased with that. I'd definitely get that one again as it was delicious. Overall, this is a solid coffee spot that I'd recommend if you're in the area or want something delivered, as it travels well and I've never had any issues.

Must order the banana toffee latte!!! It's so good I went back for it again. Lots of study space but does get crowded. Service is fast, parking also gets full fast but there is residential parking nearby.

Normally don't like sweet drinks but this place has really unique flavors. Would def come back Pistachio Matcha Latte - subtle pistachio flavor and good balance with oat milk Banana Matcha Latte - banana flavor is very forward but good Banana Hojicha Latte - also banana flavor forward but the roastedness of the hochija balances it well Both banana drinks had this toffee bit thing on it

Their strawberry matcha latte is in a class by itself. The strawberry flavor comes through nice and strong. The matcha is well balanced. Seating is tough, at 2pm on a Wed, it was packed!

Whenever we are in the area, we try to stop by. They have tasty, unique flavored drinks and their food is also very good. We always get their Egg Sando sandwich and waffle fries with its special dipping sauce. The egg Sando also comes in spicy flavor which I love. We've tried their matcha, a few of their flavored coffee drinks like their sweet corn coffee. They also have seasonal flavors. Recently had their hotteok latte which was really tasty. Everything we have tried has been very good. Service is really good as well. If you don't like your drink, you can bring it back and they will replace it with another one. They are also very efficient. The establishment is pretty spacious, seating is available outside as well. The only drawback is their popularity. There usually is a line and sometimes we have trouble finding seats right away especially on the weekends. I would still recommend trying out this cafe.

Kei Concept group has me in a chokehold! This coffee shop was very cute inside and had lots of interesting asian flavored drinks on the menu. I finally decided on the pistachio matcha latte. The pistachio cream had a nice nutty flavor, and the matcha latte was not too sweet. Next time I may try out their pandan matcha latte or a classic strawberry matcha latte. Their pate chaud was sold out online when we first got there and then popped back up on the menu a few minutes later before selling out again, so it's sold in batches! If you don't see it on the online menu right away, try refreshing as they may sell a new batch. The pastry was nice and flaky and had a good amount of well seasoned meat inside, and it was not greasy at all. Definitely order a few to take home if you are a fan of pate chaud! It was busy but service was pretty quick after putting in a mobile order. Grab a table and mobile order to avoid waiting in line!

Been back here a few times and honestly it continues to disappoint me...Their drinks are very diluted or flavorless. I've tried a variety of drinks - their banana matcha, pandan matcha, double matcha, corn latte, etc. It tastes like I'm just drinking flavored water or milk. I will say the double matcha wasn't terrible but also not great 6/10. I really only come here for their kids meal lol. Still busy now but it's a bit easier to find parking & seating on a weekday. Free wifi for 4 hours with purchase.

Ambiance: A well seated bright cafe with a cozy and exciting atmosphere. Service: Fast and friendly. Kiosks provided too Food: I got the banana matcha latte and loved the flavor. The banana flavor didn't overpower the matcha flavor. Additionally, the matcha flavor was bitter, fragrant, and the perfect amount of sweet. Lastly, I loved the chocolate and nut toppings that added to the drink. Highly recommend

Matcha cookie: 4.6/5 Crispier edges, softer and saltier around the center. Personally would like it crispy all the way through. I think the salt is very prominent to the thin cookie Cookies & Cream Hojicha Latte: 4.3/5 Whoever thought of the C&C topping had a good idea. Adds a sweetness that pairs well to the hojicha flavor. It does maybe leave some bits or grainyness in your throat so have some water on hand too.. Hotteok Cookie: 3.8/5 Tastes like a snickerdoodle but less cinnamon forward and more roasted sesame seed flavor. The cookie part is lightly baked so it's very soft, almost like a sugar cookie texture but not as sweet. Interesting concept but I don't prefer this cookie over the others. Hotteok Latte: 4.4/5 Creamy and smooth latte, oddly kind of like a spanish latte but again like their cookie, less cinnamon forward while the taste of roasted sesame seeds really come through. The drinks are generally good so if you like sesame seeds, try this out.

Ordered myself a strawberry matcha drink and it looked like the strawberry syrup/jam was nearly missing compared to my friend's. The lines were long as was the wait time. The parking can be a challenge also. The bakery items looked delicious. I appreciated how the display case looked very visually appealing. There are several seats available inside but no plug sockets available to charge devices. Unless I'm in the area and a friend wants to go, I wouldn't be returning on my own.

My wife got the breakfast burrito and we expected to get something that looked like their IG image of the burrito. I think we paid at least $15 for this and it was basically an egg burrito with tiny offerings of meat - nothing special. We emailed their customer service and followed up and no response both times. KEI concepts is more like MID concepts. Their other restaurants are solid but I'd skip the food here.

Arrived at 11:30ish on a Saturday, and it was busy! There was a long line inside to order at their kiosk. Eventually, we realized there were QR codes on the table to order and an option to order on the Square app, which is what we did. We may have waited eight minutes for our drinks. It was a super quick turnaround, which is good. They have a lot of people working, so most of the wait is getting to the kiosk to order. We ordered the banana matcha latte, matcha latte, and salted cream Vietnamese coffee. The banana matcha tasted like banana bread and had toffee bits on top, which was a nice treat. The matcha latte and coffee were also really good. I'll have to come back to try the food. The space is large with a ton of seating and is aesthetically pleasing. Parking is a little tight so you have to get lucky.

Pretty good hojicha flavor and the hotteok flavor was interesting. The combination was pretty solid.

All the drinks were super unique and tasty. I loved how spacious it was inside and many people used it as a work space

Beautiful cafe offering small bites, cookies, croissants, drinks (coffee and matcha). Line gets long but service is efficient. You can self order and cashier were open as well. There are small businesses merch you can support. I tried their banana matcha latte, Pistachio matcha latte, and Butterscotch matcha latte. Out of the three, the banana matcha was the best. Their matcha was on the stronger side which I enjoyed. Hotteok Cookie - sweet. Brown Sugar in the middle. It was okay.

Come for the coffee and baked goods. Food is on the expensive side because of the portions. This place is loud and on Sunday at 1pm, every seat was filled and the bathroom line was seven people deep. Parking was not abundant, so I parked across the street. D R I N K S Corn matcha latte with extra matcha, light ice - great flavor combination. I'd come back for this. Salted Vietnamese Coffee - decent, but nothing special about it. Food for my FIL, who didn't want anything fancy. Strawberry Milk - good option for my kiddo not to feel left out when we got drinks. F O O D Corn cheese cookie - sweet, not sure how cheese is incorporated in this cookie, but it's not my thing. I'm sure it's good for other people. This is a soft cookie, so that was good. $3.25 is a decent price for a cookie. I'd give other baked goods a try. Bacon Breakfast Burrito was the size of two fists. The menu photo looks a lot bigger than the actual burrito. I think my Husband could've finished this in five bites, but he was trying to share with me. The green sauce is good, but for $15, I'd skip. Popcorn chicken - nice seasoning mix and creamy dijon sauce - it's a great way to elevate the flavor, but the actual chicken was not crispy and you don't get much. For $10, I'd skip.

Heck yeee almost half off drinks. Came here around 9 on a Sunday and there was even a line! The line moved fast and my drink even faster. There was no limit stated on the advertisement hehe so I was able to try all the drinks I wanted. The service was great! The person managing the door and line and the cashiers were all so friendly and patient seating inside is spacious, but popular. I didnt see any visible outlets. The crossiants looked ginormous and they offer food too. Couple of big tables for groups too. Banana toffee latte- standard oat milk. Latte itself taste like a latte, my friend could taste some banana. There was toffee bits in the latte. Decent coffee flavor, not too watery. Lots of ice. Overall decent. Strawberry matcha latte- not sure if the difference between syrup and pink milk is because i got macadamia milk hehe. I got strawberry syrup in mine so the strawberry flavor was distinct. Matcha is a roastier grassy flavor. Overall, the service was super nice~ i think the drinks are okay if discounted but the food looks good.

Plenty of seating with free Wifi (with purchase). Since it was my first time here I felt like I wanted to get everything. I ordered at the kiosk and I had spicy miso egg sando which was actually spicy so I appreciated that. The corn cheese cookie was very unique. The cookie itself was interesting. The pandan coconut matcha was very refreshing and is perfect on a hot day. I enjoyed the queen cheese croissant; cheesy and flaky. There is plenty of seating and people hanging out or studying or working. There is also free parking.

Got the pistachio matcha milk tea, strawberry croissant, and spicy popcorn chicken this morning. All tasted great. I love the ambience and the abundance of places to sit. I am hesitant to come back though due to the service. I've worked in customer service and I know my expectations are human and reasonable. The cashier was awfully unwelcoming and annoyed. Her body language and tone made were plain rude right off the bat. My rule is that if a business doesn't want my business, I wont burden them with it! I may give this cafe another shot since there are many redeeming qualities and employees come and go. It looks like management reads the reviews so I hope this is helpful feedback. The interaction at point of transaction is so crucial and can sometimes define the experience more than the actual product.

First time at Kei. We saw the line forming outside but don't get discouraged as it goes pretty fast. It's really cute inside and it can get crowded. We are able to snag a table at the back. There were so many options to choose from. We decided on the following: * Triple Coconut Coffee - Pretty good and didn't taste heavy * Pistachio latte - Can't really taste the pistachio as it was overpowered by the latte * Coconut Matcha - It was really refreshing. * Banana Matcha Latte with an espresso shot - Perfect balance and not overly sweet. Staff were very nice. Parking can be a bit tough but there is a residential area as well. They offer wifi (look on your receipt) and I saw a self-service kiosk which wasn't available on the day that we went. Next time I may try their desserts. My friend got cookies but I can't rate them since I'm not a big cookie fan. Too bad, the mango sticky rice was sold out.

I understand why this coffee spot is so popular and crowded! They have so many coffee, matcha, tea options. They even offer food items like pastries and even pasta! Not the best spot to study because it's so crowded and a bit loud.

This is one of those places where both young and old come to enjoy coffee and friends. With that being said, the ambiance is very welcoming with a lot of natural lighting and open space. My wife and I got a pistachio matcha latte, a heoteokk hojicha latte, and a ham and cheese croissant. The hojicha latte was pretty sweet but had good flavor from the hojicha and the heotteok. It's definitely more a dessert drink than a morning drink. The pistachio latte was much less sweet than the hojicha so it almost tasted watery to me. Despite this, I was still able to taste the pistachio. Overall, a pretty solid drink. The ham and cheese croissant was the much needed element of savoriness that we needed amongst the sweetness. I would definitely recommend getting something savory like this croissant if you're getting drinks. Service was also quick and efficient. You can use the cashier or the all have a tablet.

It was a kei concepts kinda day lol we stopped by after getting Ini down the street and I was super excited to try it out! Parking is okay, not a whole lot but we didn't have trouble finding a spot either. The space inside was very clean and modern. I was pretty surprised and how big it was. On a Sunday around 4pm, it was a packed house! All the tables were occupied. The line wasn't too long, thankfully. There were maybe five in front of us when we went. I was really looking forward to trying the corn cheese cookie, but the person in front of us for the last one :( My bf and I got the banana toffee latte and sweet corn latte. We ordered from the self-serve kiosk (which I really like for the convenience). Our drinks surprisingly didn't take that long, so that was a huge plus! Service was great :) I LOVE corn, so I was excited to try the sweet corn latte. While the coffee was food and woke me up, I was disappointed in the lack of corn flavor. The banana toffee latte though, was so good. I never thought of banana and toffee as a combo, but they work so well together. I would definitely get this again.

My first visit here was probably my favorite. I ordered the Hojicha and absolutely loved it. The line was long, but honestly, it made sense--the place runs at a fast pace and everything was moving smoothly. The ambiance reminded me of a fancy, renovated Starbucks! It gives off that modern, cozy vibe that I really love. Unfortunately, my second visit didn't live up to the first. My drink didn't taste the same at all, which was already disappointing. On top of that, when my order came out, I asked if it was mine and the staff member handling drinks told me it wasn't. I waited another five minutes, only for them to come back and say, that it was my drink. No apology, nothing just handed it over and that was that. So while my first experience was great, the inconsistency in drinks and lack of care in service during my second visit really soured things for me. It sucks because I love coming down to the OC. I'm from the 626, so it's a far drive for me and I don't have many places up here with good Hojicha drinks. Maybe a third time might change my mind.
