My partner and I have been going to Keisy for close to a decade. John is a highly skilled massage therapist. He's friendly, professional, and one of the best therapists we've come across. We highly recommend his service.

Google
This was an amazing experience. I have never had a massage like this and with enough pressure. They are so knowledgeable about the body and techniques to target tight areas. I get massages to work out pain, not to feel relaxed, and this nailed it. I had to focus to get through the hard parts but I am so grateful this place exists! They really know what they are doing and will listen to you if you have a specific area that needs focus. I have TMJ and he was able to work on my jaw and face as well. I will definitely be coming back. I can already feel the difference.

Can’t beat the price ($50), it’s incredibly clean, the greeter is lovely, and the AC is perfect- those are 5/5. However, I don’t know if it’s because I had a male masseuse or what but this was the most uncomfortable/painful massage I’ve ever had (and I like a hard massage). A lot of time was spent digging into the sides of my spine, right over my ribs, or in the joints (shoulder, back of knee) which was so odd to me. Where ever I had the least amount of muscle is where I was elbow/knuckled out. When asked how I was, I asked if he could lighten up, but nothing changed. I thought maybe it was the technique here so I just grit and bared most of it. There were parts of the full body massage that were skipped and I didn’t even care because I was busy focusing on “surviving” the massage. I had wondered if it was just my experience, but my friend had the same. We didn’t love it. I’m used to being muscle sore the next day but today it’s my spine that hurts. There are lots of rave reviews about this place so maybe be wary of their male masseuses. I think I’ll stick to my usual spot.

Google
Affordable price (50$ for an hour), massage was amazing (included in the price: back, neck, arms, hands, legs and feet). Quiet, clean and relaxing environment. The staff were lovely and I was very pleased overall. I left feeling relaxed and after weeks of back and neck pain I finally felt relief. I highly recommend (they didn’t pay me for the review)

Google
I had the most restorative body work ever here. I had some extreme lower back and shoulder tension, and my therapist worked out all the very tight knots in my body in an hour. Note: this is not a foufou massage place that makes you feel good on the spot with a bit of oily slapping and soothing rubs and have you walk out with the same aches. nor is this a Swedish sports massage place. this is deep, targeted bodywork, which means the process could be painful and not particularly enjoyable, but they will make sure that the tense kinks in your muscles are completely gone and your body is reset. extremely affordable for the work they do.

Been going for 8 years! Best deep tissue massage and super affordable

Google
Went to Keisy because of extreme lower back pain which I had been suffering for the last month. I had tried 2 other acupuncture specialist with no relief. Dr. Xu(Shoe) was great. He hit many of the spots along the correct meridians which lead to the most relief I had experienced in a month. I wish he had used cupping techniques and tens stimulation also but he didn't. Maybe next time he will. I live in Harlem but I travel to the East Village for treatment. The place is CLEAN and the staff is polite and friendly. Certainly the price is right. Very highly recommended.

I have been here twice from the recommendation of a friend in fitness. Highly recommend if you are looking for an excellent, no-frills massage as a go to as a shlepping New Yorker. The owner is super nice and my appointment with Sherry, and Sing have been great. I heard John is fab too! Also, prices can't be beat! A plus if you are prioritizing your body and want to go routinely without breaking the bank. Call ahead!

Yelp
If you're looking for a relaxing spa massage, this is not the place. They specialize in the deep tissue massage where it is uncomfortable - borderline painful. Clean and professional. Slight communication and language barrier as the masseuse spoke chinese but honestly there's no reason you need to have a full blown conversation with them. The lady at the front spoke more english and I think if you specific instructions/areas to focus on definitely mention it to her. The masseuse figured out where my problem areas were without me saying anything. He worked on my shoulders and back for the majority of the time. I honestly wanted to tap out a few times cuz there was a lot of pressure and honestly quite painful but knew that tomorrow I would feel way better. 60 min was $50 in cash + cash tip only.

Iris R.

Yelp
This is not a relaxing massage so don't expect it. It's an amazing pressure point massage. They know exactly where the pain is and work on those areas. I've been here at least 5 times and every time I leave with an enormous amount of relief. I sit all day in front of a computer and this is my to go place when I can't take the neck pain anymore. I come out with all the tension released. Follow it with a warm shower and the next day and you are brand new!

Yelp
the best Accupuncture I've had in my whole life. WORDS CANT DESCRIBE. healed my gut problems, my stress, and my high cortisol

Yelp
I will not reveal my favorite masseuse here, but this place can't be beat for the price and cleanliness, as well as location. You'll be getting a deal and a relaxing massage.

Yelp
If you need a legit massage or acupuncture and you're in the Cooper Union / Tokyo town area of Manhattan definitely check out Keisy. I've been going there for over a decade. The rooms are all private, but the ceilings to the rooms are open to the vaulted ceilings. My suspicion is to avoid shenanigans in the room. They also have an acupuncturist which I've tried once. It was interesting, but I really didn't feel the need for a repeat. The therapist don't always speak fluent English, but you can pantomime your problem areas and your desired intensity. I personally like it punishingly hard and they definitely put in the work. It's located on the second floor with a non descript glass door on the ground level that opens up to a stairway. You can pay with credit card with a fee, but cash is always preferred. Afterwards, you can chill out at the nearby Starbucks or go next door to the Soba-ya for some soba noodles.

Rose O.

Yelp
The space has no private rooms and is extremely noisy, it is almost impossible to relax. I bled and bruised from acupuncture for the first time - I have been getting regular treatments elsewhere for years and have never bruised or bled before. Even after discussing my above concerns with the business, they still charged me full price.

Yelp
Love this place. I would share my favorite but then you will book them. Find the right person for you and you won't go anywhere else. I swear my person keeps me alive with their massages.

Yelp
Great place! Best price and skills in the area. Very accommodating and friendly team. Most masseuses I've tried here are pretty good. Massage is very personal so definitely communicate with the front desk on any preference -- they are amazing. So far I met Grace and Ed and they've taken good care of me.

Christine B.

Yelp
They know their job! Expert masseur! No joke. You are in good hand for deep release tissue. Thanks to them:)

Yelp
This is my favorite cheap massage in the city!! The staff knows exactly what they are doing and deliver a deep tissue massage that really attacks the knots in my back. I've tried many other places in the city but I keep coming back to Keisy because they know what they are doing. I've never had difficulty getting a reservation. The staff are very polite and the sheets are always clean.

Yelp
My massage was very average but worse was the noise from the room next door. Another therapist was eating what sounded like several bags of chips. I finally complained, my therapist said something, but he kept eating. When he finally stopped, there was a dramatic, 60-second long crunching of bags. At that point if would have been funny if I wasn't paying $50. Complaining at front desk resulted in zero discount and a half-hearted apology about not having a kitchen.

D. A.

Yelp
Just ok. My therapist seemed disinterested and just kept going over the same spot over and over. I just wanted it to be over. Maybe another therapist may do better. But, I'll never know 'cause I ain't going back.

Yelp
Solid, Clean, Effective, No frills, Affordable. Great place to get a massage and foot rub. The location is very easy to find and the facility is just one flight up some stairs on top of a Japanese restaurant. I was greeted by one of the sweetest managers in the front. Carmen who was very patient and professional asked if I had any health or restrictions before she referred me to my masseuse Shirley. To get best results, you will be asked to leave almost nothing on except you underwear. If you are shy about your body, don't worry, the rooms are very private and the staff is very professional about everything. During my table Shiatsu massage, I laid face down and a thin cloth was spread across, covering my body and legs . Shirley worked her magic throughout my body and legs. She applied the right amount of pressure and strength. Occasionally she would ask if the strength level is okay and if I was comfortable, very accommodating and courteous. When it was time to massage my shoulders, she would use her hands to come into full contact with my skin instead of through the thin cloth. Light lotion would be applied to make the friction and pressure applied evenly and smoothly across my shoulders. FELT SO GREAT. Towards the end of the massage you will be asked to flipped over and to be worked on your legs, calves and foot before it all comes to an end. After your relaxing state of mind, get dressed and ready to go, you are offered some water. It is recommended to drink some water to help aid you with the process after your massage session. 1 hour massage will run you about $45. Credit card accepted! The facilities are very clean and organized. The rooms are a bit tight, but you will be lying down most of the time anyways, so it didn't really matter how big the rooms were. Make an appointment before going, because it can get pretty busy during peak relaxation times (after work, and weekends).

Yelp
Still one of the best places to get a good massage at a great price. They were able to squeeze me in for an appt in an hour. I always leave here feeling much lighter.

Yelp
I'm writing this to warn people about the acupuncturist here. I came for acupuncture, this was my 3rd treatment. It seemed effective for fixing a shoulder injury the first 2 times. But he is very rough and the needles hurt way more than any other place i've gone. However, this last time, he put the needle in my left foot so deep that it hurt the entire time and still hurts hours later. Once that needle went in, i had tears streaming down my face and every other needle hurt more than usual. He left the room without saying a word. I couldn't relax the entire time bc my left foot was hurting so bad. When he came back in, i explained that my left foot had been hurting the entire time. He didn't say anything. I said 'did you hear me?' Still nothing. I said 'do you understand?' Thinking he wasn't able to hear me. And then she said, "you are a big baby" and walked out. For a doctor to treat a patient with such disregard, disrespect and, i'll go ahead and say it, abuse. I feel like he should be reported. Steer clear.

Yelp
I'm a massage masochist. Keisy is probably the most legit and clean massage spot in NYC that remains consistent in service and affordable. I am a fan for life. Some things you should know about this fine, low-key, no-frills establishment: 1. The masseuses are trained in acupressure and shiatsu. Not the sweet, soft, skin-grazing massages you may have come to expect from fancy spas. They will HURT you but they will not injure you. The point of acupressure is PRESSURE. 2. This is still a Chinese-run establishment. They are set up for massage and that's what they do best. 3. Shirley

Kavie B.

Yelp
This was one of the best massages I've had in the city. Much better than places that cost twice as much for a real, thorough massage.

Yelp
Dr. Wu is the best acupuncturist in NYC. He is honest, very knowledgeable and precise. Plus the prices are low, they have been the same in many years. 5 stars!!

Chelsea T.

Yelp
I've been coming here for several years for massage and usually had a good experience especially for the price. I came here in February for acupuncture for the first time and it was a nightmare. Long story short he used a heat lamp, which he didn't mention he was going to use and since I was lying on my stomach I couldn't see what was going on, and it gave me a second degree burn on my leg. I have a huge scar now. One of the needles he placed in my foot touched a nerve and I had nerve pain in my foot that took two months to heal. The whole experience was so stressful, uncomfortable and painful. He checked on me several times throughout the process and I guess he never noticed that my leg was burning. I haven't had acupuncture like that before so I thought it was normal. Never again! Really disappointed to lose my cheap massages but I can't in good conscious support this place anymore.

Yelp
Best massage I've received in all of NY so far -- will come back for David! And I don't normally prefer male masseuse..

Lisa L.

Yelp
I had a 90 min session with Sing and it was the best massage I've had in a long time. Ever since covid started working at home has been killing my back and shoulders. She worked miracles in those 90 mins and by the time I was leaving I was pain and tension free. Highly recommend trying a session with Sing. Also I loved the cleanliness of the place. All workers were following covid protocols and my temperature was taken when I walked in. I appreciate them putting in the effort to make customers feel safe and welcomed during such difficult times.

JL L.

Yelp
The best no frills massage place in New York City. Very clean and the staff is lovely. I've been coming to Keisy since 2008 as a former colleague introduced me to this massage place. I use to go to this man Kevin who was amazing, he since retired and now I see Shirley and she is the best! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Stumbling upon this spa on 9th Street while on a walk through the east village, we assumed at first that it would be a bit sketchy. But in an effort to be fair (I supposed sometimes neon signage can be a nice touch) and a challenge to Yelp, we yelped it on my iphone and low and behold it already had 16 favorable reviews! So yes, don't judge this spa by it's cover...though in the end covers do matter. The dude at the counter was kinda funny, he was openly amused with us for some reason and poked fun at our outfits, our accent...everything. While they didn't have walk in, we made an appt for 2 an hour out and returned to be led to our respective cubicles. The rooms don't have ceilings and I found that many kept the doors open while giving massages so I could peek in at the other patrons. Luckily I realized this after the massage otherwise I might've been a bit creeped out. The result of open ceilings and doors is that you can hear even the tiniest whisper in another room...so if your the dude that kept grunting...I heard you. The massage itself is pretty mechanical. Brisk and sometimes painful, I now know why shiatsu lends itself well to Brookstone machines since it's basically hard repetitive strokes. These strokes ended up being quite productive though since once my 30 minutes were up I had to peel my face of the table and rush home to nap. The price is right and while unglamorous, the space is not at all sketchy. For a 30 min massage it's $25, $45 for an hour and acupuncture while run you $50 a session. Go on, take a chance.

Yelp
Ok here is the scoop. I really don't like negative reviews but...this was just something else. I've come here twice. The first time I was with a lady and she was a-ok. I don't actually remember the experience so it must not have been bad or good either way and I came back again so I think it was mildly relaxing... Then I encountered Jason. He attacked my body and at first the pressure was irritating. I could feel my muscles rub over my bones. Instead of working out my knotted, stress shoulders and neck he would press the crap out of them...all while breathing really heavily and then audibly either drinking something or smacking on gum. He would rub his hands hard over my non-lotioned skin and it burned like hell. I was disturbed at first. Eventually I would flail my legs a bit to let him know I wasn't happy about the fact he was throwing his body into mine and causing all my pain fibers to light up like a Christmas tree. None of this experience was relaxing in the least bit. Then I about had the silent treatment (I was trying to respect the other customers...there is no privacy in this place really, which is typical of this kind of establishment). I started telling him its too hard. Too much pressure. Instead of letting up he half started and then again pressed the crap out of my muscles. To the point where I was moaning for him to stop and he was just saying...its ok its ok. Does that not sound like its a little off? So then I finally had enough. Massages are supposed to be partially painful in this genre but not ALL painful. I stopped the massage and I'm sure it was a bit prior to the culmination of my allotted time. He proceeded to leave and...I'm fairly certain start talking shit about me to his co-workers in his native language. I'm not an idiot buddy and the walls are non-existent!! I still had to pay the price they quoted for credit card payment of a 45 minute massage. I told them I'm sorry it hurt too much and their response? It's normal. I'm so thankful they hadn't set me up for an hour. I think I would have died. Or torn my muscle tendons somewhere. My calf still hurts, he pressed HARD on the area right behind my kneecap (that is NOT kosher), and my stressed, knotted shoulders are STILL tense. Buyer beware. You're paying for what you get.

Yelp
By far my favorite massage place in NYC. I live right by 8th Street in the WV where there are tons of massage spots, but I'll always walk a little farther to go to Keisy from now on. I had a two hour massage today with Sing. It was the best!! Happy to add this to my weekly routine. :)

Yelp
Two things I noticed as soon as I arrived: the place is clean/organized and the receptionist welcomed me with a smile, so it started off well Amy was assigned to my 1-hour massage. They advertise it as shiatsu but in fact it is some sort of deep tissue massage mixed with shiatsu. She used a lot her forearms and elbows. Regardless it was a great massage. I had two specific spots on my back that needed attention but decided not to tell her, so she could do her job as she likes. However, in less than 3 minutes she found the first spot and stayed there for some 10 minutes, bringing instant relief to the area. The other spot was found later. About strenght/intensity: she started off really soft and increased intensity little by little during the next 15 minutes. I think this works well for people that are not used to this kind of massage. It was a great experience and I am coming back for sure.

Zouheir A.

Yelp
Had a 90 minute session with James. He did some serious work on me. Down to the roots of acupressure points and serious release of tension. Thank you Jason I am so grateful for your powerful hands! The place is super clean. Took my temperature when entering as per Covid bio standards. They offer a cash discount and remember to bring cash, as the tips for the masseuse is in cash (their card machine is not like restaurants that allows you to leave a tip on the card).

Gianna M.

Yelp
Keisy is hands-down my favorite massage place in New York, and has been for over a decade. I've had serious chronic back pain since my early 20s, and their excellent, affordable massages have allowed me to live with significantly less pain in my daily life. The people at the front desk are courteous and helpful. When I've worked with a new masseuse, I've always asked the person at the front-desk to explain my back injury to him/her before we begin, if it seems from our initial interaction that there's a language barrier; they always take the time to do so. (For simpler communication, like adjustments in pressure, I've never had a problem communicating mid-massage.) I've often had to ask for last-minute scheduling changes and they've accommodated me every time, at no charge--even when I've had to reschedule twice in one day. In more than 10 years, they've never made me wait past my appointment time. The place is very no-frills, but they've always kept it very clean and created a peaceful environment. I've had two massages since they reopened in the COVID era, and the precautions they're taking (face-masks and shields for the employees, plexi-glass at the front desk, disposable coverings on the massage tables/face-cradles, and masks and temperature-checks required for customers) made me feel safe using their services. If you're looking for a high-end spa or something other than acupressure--or you're recovering from a serious recent injury that requires a masseuse with a physical therapy degree--Keisy may not be the right fit for you. But if you're looking for an excellent acupressure massage, courteous service, flexibility, affordability, safe public health practices, and a simple, calm environment with really, really good vibes, go to Keisy!
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
The best massage I've ever got!! My Massuese was able to pin point all my knots and really took the time in those areas.
google avatar

Kat D.

Yelp
Ever gotten one of those fast food acupressure massages? You know when they find the most painful knot in your neck and then stay there for eternity until you wish you were dead? And then when they finally let go, you realize you've never known happiness until you knew what it's like to feel real pain that eventually stopped? And at the end you actually sympathize with every pork chop and chicken cutlet that you've ever eaten because now you know what it's like to be one. The End.
google avatar

Faye W.

Yelp
This place gave me the worst pain ever. It was not a massage but more of a beating and elbowing on my spine area. I kept saying to him to be lighter but he continued to hurt me more. He kept hitting my butt telling me to "relax" and sucking his teeth. I've been taking pain killers to calm the bruises on my back. I'm having trouble sleeping from the burning feeling from my neck down my back. If you like pain, this is the place for you. Otherwise, be aware. Other than that, the front desk lady was very sweet. The room was decent. The walls are thin, you can hear the customer next door. They probably hear me crying for help.
google avatar

Shyam K.

Yelp
Great service at a great price. Very professional and skilled masseurs. I have gotten massages from both Chris and Kevin and they were both fantastic. I usually go in with shoulder/neck pain and always walk out of Keisy feeling much much better. Their prices are very reasonable and even cheaper if you pay cash.

Vlad B.

Yelp
Had my acupressure massage at Keisy. The place is reasonably clean. The male masseur did not talk, and did not ask 2 key questions: if I had a history of broken bones or a surgery, and if the pressure is too hard. Believe me, when they massage your neck, you do want the pressure to be less, but you can't really talk unless they stop and ask. But they don't. So you pray that your neck is not broken. Establish the ground rules before they start on you. Having been there a few times and having experienced different masseurs I can say that some almost don't speak any English while others do quite well. Also it seems that one has been formally trained whereas some have picked up their skills as they go along as well benefitted from some hints shared by the more formally trained ones.

Yelp
For me, this is as good as it gets, primarily because it's such a New York experience. Keisy is not glamorous - ambient music is constantly interrupted by a ringing telephone or the sound of slapping skin from the room next to you (the walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling) - so you shouldn't expect hot stones gliding down your back and the promise of reaching Nirvana. Instead, it is efficient: unlike other spas that are three times the price simply because of the essential-oil infused air and cucumber water, people come to Keisy to get their shit handled, and it is. Yes, the sight of Hellman's mayonnaise next to the table as I was getting undressed was jarring (pun intended), and I felt very grateful to be wearing granny panties just in case any funny business was about to go down, but the moment Shirley began to massage me I realized that wasn't going to happen. (No-frils, low-signage Asian massage parlors CAN be family-friendly after all!) Certain parts of my hour-long massage were painful, but in the way they should be when your body is releasing stress; by the end of it I felt fantastic, to the point where I noticed a positive change in the way I walk. For $45 (before tip) I can come here every week, and I intend to. Big fan!

Yelp
jason is the best my back pain heals Pricing is reasonable not like most spa salons It's been a great experience I basically go to their every week

Yelp
No Pain No Gain I ve been to this place at least a dozen times now. Now i go with John. Who takes a very strong no pain no gain style and after each session my knots improves tremendously. You can get your daily relaxing massage here. Or physical pain release massage. If you let the massuist know, they will work that spot for you. All very experienced. Clean, nice and reasonably priced.

Yelp
Got a full body deep tissue massage by Sing. It's a no frills place, so not for anyone looking for that pampered fancy spa experience, but if you're looking for an effective AND affordable massage, this is definitely the place to go. Also - appointments are so easy to make. I've made two of mine only an hour in advance during the weekend and have been accommodated both times. I'm at the gym regularly, so massages are a big part of recovering. I've been to so many different places and while I've never had a terrible massage, I've also never walked out with literally every knot gone from my back.. until I tried this place. I'm more than willing to make the trek from midtown west.

Yelp
Great massage! I've had a ton of Chinese massages after living there for 5 years and this is one of the best ones I've had. It's not for everyone because there's some super painful parts, but after the massage I felt so wonderful! I went after working very long hours for a few weeks, standing up and walking and carrying stuff around for about 9 or 10 hours a day. My back soreness is gone and I feel so much less tension in my shoulders! I had David and he definitely dug his elbow into my ass more than I expected, and also did some assisted leg stretching that was a little awkward and hopefully not pervy (don't wear a thong), but I usually don't like my lower half massaged and this is the first time I thought it was actually beneficial. I also liked that he rubbed my head a little bit when he was in the neck area. This place is also good because it's cheap but nicer inside than most Chinatown places. The people are nice, it's quiet with no people yelling outside the rooms, and the toilet has a heated seat! It was no frills but relaxing.

Yelp
This isn't your typical Asian massage parlor with the neon signs, video cameras, electronically locked doors or anything. It's just a standard massage place that offers services for $48 per hour or $25 for half an hour. I was limited on time so I opted for the half hour special. You really don't save that much more if you do a full hour, only 2 bucks. But with 30 minutes, I told the massage lady to focus on my legs since I do run a lot and the fact that walking a lot in NY doesn't make things better. But she managed to get most of the kinks out on my legs. Nothing fancy or anything. Just enough for me to walk another 4 blocks before my legs started to hurt again. Nah, but they do a pretty good job and walk-ins are ok. The room was super quiet during my massage therapy. The only thing I can hear is the sound of the clock somewhere in the background.

Yelp
I love that place! First of all, it's very conveniently located, the price is right and the massage is pretty good! Even though Im a 95 pound girl I prefer deep tissue, and very often I run into a problem when massage therapists are afraid to put too much presure which is definitely not the case here. It may HURT (No Mercy!!) but you'll come out as a new person once they are done :) I have had a neck problem after a car accident a while ago. A year of PT didnt help at all. (Actually Bikram yoga helped a lot but I wasnt able to accomodate it into my current schedule :( ) Anyway, long story short, Keisy helped much better that any of those chiropractors !! Once again, it's not a fancy place, its not a spa - (more like a medical office in my opinion, very very casual). People are nice and very professional at what they do. It's not a place to come hang out with girls - it's a place where you can show up at 9pm after a stressful day of work, wearing your favorite sweat pants, and relax...then go home and pass out in 5 min Less words and more actions - that's how I like it. 5 stars :)

Yelp
Awesome value for the money! An hour for $45 (cash) or 90 min for $67? Sold. This is a no frills but non sketchy, professional shiatsu acupressure joint. The massage beds are surprisingly comfy because they have perfect face pillows for when you lie on your stomach - not easy to find! Be warned though: this is not a patsy patsy Enya playing, candle lit Swedish massage (which are so useless btw). This is for serious massage work to get out knots and aches. But don't worry... It's not painful, unless you want it that way :)

Yelp
Awesome! I had Jerry- he will take it easy on you if you don't let him know what style of massage you prefer. Let him know and it will be one of the best massages you ever get. If you're not a pretentious weirdo the interior shouldn't bother you - its a simple and clean space and youre not going there for lessons in interior design. It's clean, the folks are friendly and its a GREAT hour long massage for $45.

Yelp
I have relied on this place for many serious neck and back pain issues, Annie is my go-to masseuse, she is incredible for shiatsu/deep tissue massage. I must mention though, I originally discovered this practice over a decade ago when i caught some crazy flu/cold that lasted week after week- western Drs. Rxs didn't help. I received a great assessment by the Dr. here, he prescribed herbal medicine and acupuncture and I recovered! I still mostly go back for massages but I have to say I keep this place noted as a great clinic for unique ailments. I've never waited long, prices are fair, always clean and staff is so sweet. Ten stars if I could.

Yelp
I love this place and have been here at least two dozen times. If you want a no-frills massage to get some knots out of your back or relieve neck pain, this place is incredible with expert hands, late hours and cheap prices (only $45 for an hour-long massage). There is no better place in lower Manhattan for an economically friendly deep-tissue acupressure/shiatsu-style massage. They give your tight muscles a real workout. However, as much as I love this place, I do not recommend it for those looking for something to do with a friend/a spa-style experience. This is a seriously bare bones, no frills operation. It's clean and the staff is very friendly, but this is not a spa-atmosphere.

Yelp
I've got many Asian massages in NYC, yet, this gotta be the worst experience I've ever had. The attitude was VERY cold, and the masseuse was totally hitting the wrong spot. He was far from professional, in fact, an untrained person like you and me could do 100% what he had done to me. I've never felt like just wanna get out there during a massage before today. That said, as a nice and understanding client, I still gave him 20% tip. But writing this review does more justice to all of you who's reading.
