Keith and Chris Incorvaia’s spot serves tavern‑style pizza, generous pastas, and banquet‑room parties. Highlighted by 13abc’s Dine in the 419, it’s the kind of family place where staff remember regulars and specials live on a chalkboard.

Really nice place. Love the way they have the place decorated and the tables spaced away from each other. Staff is incredibly friendly and it feels like a family environment. Staff worked really hard to make sure i had a good experience even though they were having the roughest of days as their barkeep had walked out in the middle of her shift earlier that day. I would have never known: the place was still running flawlessly. They got my food to me in less than 10m. Give this place a try if you're craving some good authentic Italian food and you want to eat in a restaurant you can bring the whole family to and feel comfortable and relaxed or come in on your own and sit at the comfortable bar to enjoy the ambiance. Cheese ravioli is good.

Prices were high for a Sunday lunch - a lot of additional charges to watch for. Service was great. Food was ok. Sauce is sweet, depending on how you like it. Olive app was awesome.

Google
Such a friendly atmosphere. I saw smiling and friendly hostess. Singing in the kitchen. A great server. The thin crust pizza was delicious. I might suggest that you save just a little room for the chocolate chip cannoli's . What a great find. I can't wait to come back.

Great waitress good food raviolis were excellent lasagna was very good

Google
Wife and I split a Combo Meal and had plenty of food with an additional side salad. Lasagna was old and bottom layer was burnt. Veal was soft and mushy with no flavor. The sauce is overpowering in taste. Too sweet for us. They use a lot of sauce to cover less tasty and plain items. Neither of us would come back for Italian Food again. Convenient location withl plenty of parking.

Google
Service was good, even with the poor server run off her feet with a couple of large parties. Atmosphere was fine. Cleanliness was good, as far as I could tell. That said, the food I had was seriously lacking. I got ravioli. The filling was a hard, unseasoned little ball of meat. You couldn’t cut the ravioli in half or even stab it with a fork without the filling just breaking through the pasta and rolling around on the plate. It was almost like they’d been boiled. I bet they’d bounce if thrown. Meat sauce was good, salad was good, and the bread was ok. Would have been better if warm, but you can’t have the moon. But yeah, ravioli: not poisonous or gross, just uninspiring. Maybe I just don’t like their particular take on this dish. Parking is abysmal, though that’s not the fault of the restaurant; But whichever Toledo slumlord owns this mini mall needs to have the lines repainted for cars that aren’t model T’s. Narrow spots plus having the lot ringed with high traffic businesses makes it a stressful place to find parking.

My family and I came here (party of 3) on 12/27 at 5 pm to grab some dinner. Upon being seated, we ordered sweet tea x3. The waitress came back to tell us that they didn't have any sweet tea made and asked if we'd like a soft drink instead, so we opted for that. All 3 drinks were overcarbonated and lacked syrup. Still no drinks and our main course came. I ordered the shrimp scampi with a side of spaghetti. It tasted like the shrimp was boiled in the same pot with the spaghetti and was splashed with some olive oil and parsley. No butter and no garlic. After I told the waitress to take it back to the kitchen because of how awful it was, it was still on my check, and I had to ask for the charge to be removed. Attached is a photo of their $26 plate of "Shrimp scampi with spaghetti." The drinks were fixed after dinner, so that was nice.

Stopped in today for lunch with a group from work. Gave us a plate of seasoned fries on the house, which was nice. We all ordered pizza and it was delicious. Highly recommended!

Tony S.

Yelp
Had an order of spaghetti and meatballs and meat sauce. Very tasty and a decent sized serving.

Yelp
Good people. Eat spaghetti once or more a week with a beer and enjoy. Theresa and Keith are fun owners to be around.

Virginia S.

Yelp
The dinners at Incorvia's never disappoint. The staff at this location are always top notch, friendly, attentive and helpful. It all makes for a great dining experience.

Food was excellent service top shelf and exquisitely decorated enjoyed the experience to the max

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time today and I really wanted to like it, the Google reviews were deceptive. Firstly the noodles that came with my chicken cacciatore were served cold to me, and the sauce was so sweet I couldn't eat it. The waitress was understanding and offered to bring me a side of spaghetti with marinara and unfortunately, the basic marinara is what was the overly sweet sauce. It was not good. My son said the pizza was pretty good and ate most of it. He also said there was no sauce on it, but I am not sure if that is just how it is. The one thing I did like is being able to order a lunch portion, until we got the bill. The dinner sized portion for my meal would have been $19, but the lunch portion (which I got) was $15! Not worth the money.

Yelp
First time visiting here just the other day... I had the eggplant parm. It reminded me of Inky's. Same salad, bread and butter, etc. The red sauce tasted like Inky's and the eggplant was prepared the same way. It was quite good. My dining partner had the chicken alfredo. He loved it, so another big plus! The pasta portion was very generous for a lunch portion too. The waitress was super friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. The only "quibble" was none of our dirty dishes were removed during the meal, so the table was kind of full by the end. The restroom was clean, as was the rest of the place. It's in a really convenient spot and I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Just got seated and I'm early for the normal time dinner crowd. Not many here. Cool old timey place. The best. Cheesecake is real good. No basalmic vinegar but a vinegar based dressing working great. Actually is better than basalmic! I've asked for a special build of spaghetti, marinara, jalapeños, mushrooms, shrimp, sausage. Club soda drink. My guess is the incredibly good sausage might be house or local made. Definitely better than usually found. I mixed up a small batch of olive oil, parmigiana, black pepper, red pepper, vinaigrette dressing...poured that overtop of everything. Spiced it all more. Everything was really good here and some sure seems house-made. No fancy anything. Just good home food. I sure like.

Yelp
From the Young man that answers the phone to take your order the the Manager and Staff to the ambiance The place is TOP SHELF 5*. OH THE FOOD yeah it's GREAT! Don't be afraid to order ANYTHING, I promise you will love it!!

Yelp
3.5 It was a nice casual ambiance and our server couldn't have been sweeter. Guess she could have offered us water or we could have asked, but she did check in on us. Both of us ordered small pizzas and there was plenty to take home. Portions are generous. The pizzas were very good, (with extra cheese that I ordered) though I think additional seasoning would have made the pizza even better. Quality was excellent and fresh, just missing an extra factor that would have made it amazing. Wasn't crazy about their closing time at 7:30pm on a Sunday and felt a little rushed to leave. Other than that, definitely decent pizza at a reasonable price. I recommend checking it out!

Yelp
I wanted to like this place. It had good reviews. In my experience it was over rated in Yelp. It wasn't bad just not above average. The menu was typical average Italian. Entering the place, it had a very average uninspired look. I was greater by a friendly bartender who may have been an owner. I ordered a lasagna meal which included a small salad. Overall priced at $14 or $14.95. I had seen the white sauce on the menu. I like that but also wanted to try the red. I was happy the waiter allowed me to have the dish with half shite and half red. He didn't mention an up charge. The salad tasted like it came directly out of a bag of pre chopped salad from the grocery store, before it's washed. Ok but not really tasting fresh, but I liked the meal came with s salad, even an average one. The Lasagne was Ok. Again I'd say average and lacked anything exciting. It was all just ok. When I received my bill, it was for just over $20 and didn't have any details. I gave a normal tip and didn't think about it until after i had driven away. I didn't order anything other then the Lasagna meal so I felt overbilled. It may have been an up charge for the extra sauce. If so I wish the waited had said it was an extra $2 or $3. I still would have done it but wouldn't be left wondering why the bill was $20+ when the meal was listed at $14 something.

Yelp
A perfect option when you can't get to the other place. Love the meat pizza and meatballs. The ambiance screams strip mall but don't let that deter you from checking this place out. Delicious food and great options.
google avatar

Yelp
When they first opened for business, it didn't seem like the "other" place. And I never came back. But, the "other" place has diminished for some reason. And that's what brought me back here. I've got to say the pizza was phenomenal. So much better than the "other" place. I will continue to visit here, because the style of crust is very good. My server was good, and the kitchen seemed efficient.

Yelp
Eighteen of the guys I used to work with went to Incorvia's for dinner. We only had one waitress but she handled our beverage and food orders very efficiently. All our orders came in a timely manner. I ordered the eggplant parmesan which is a long-time favorite. From pizza, spaghetti, fish, and a variety of pasta dishes no one complained. This is the same great food that has been served in Toledo for years. You may recognize the dishes under a different name. I recommend Incorvia's, so give them a try.

Yelp
Large group of 20+ went here. We let them know we were coming and they had tables already set up for us when we arrived. The location is at the end of a strip type "mall." It isn't a whole lot to look at and pretty much blah in decor, but it seemed very clean. A little bigger than I would have thought as well. Nice sized menu with lots of options. We ordered the cheesy bread and this was probably the worst part. It was just some cheese kind of melted on a soft piece of bread. I was hoping for something else. Also had some Italian wedding soup. This was a nice sized bowl. Lots of ancini de pepe, meatballs, and veggies. That is great, but the broth lacked flavor and tasted kind of watery. That's the bad part. Here's the really good part. If you want a ton of food for not a crazy price, go here for sure! Some of us still talk about the value for the price because of the portions. They have 3 combo meals with contain lasagna, penne pasta, and your choice of chicken or veal parm, or stuffed shells. Those combos filled an entire dinner plate! Whoa! I went with my typical chicken parm and no doubt had extra to take home. Everyone seemed very happy with the taste of their food. Sauce was better than multiple Italian places I have gone to. I did add some crushed red pepper for some added flavor, but I do that pretty much everywhere. Service was also good. Our server was attentive and no doubt earned all of her tips with our group. I don't think I ever saw her stop except to bring food or drinks. :)

Yelp
The food was incredible! The best I've had the service was wonderful, and I will be back

Thomas D.

Yelp
Went for Christmas get together, reservations for 12. Waitress brought 3 salads then went to take an order at another table while the rest of the salads sat on a table next to us. After we got the bus boy to bring the rest of the salad we waited 45 minutes for food. The sauce was spicy and the waitress had no clue and no help. Atmosphere was ok but the uncovered broken electrical outlet behind us was concerning. The food was mediocre at best. Probably would not come back. Wrong orders, cold food and untrained wait staff

Patricia P.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Our waitress provided the right amount of time to settle in and relax a bit before ordering. Salads were fresh and tasty. Pizza was perfect!

Yelp
I have to give Incorvia's Bene Italiano restaurant a five star rating. We made reservations for a party of ten to celebrate a couple anniversaries in the family. It was a Friday night and we were beyond pleased with the pleasant service, wonderful food choices and friendly atmosphere. I wish I had the young woman's name that waited on and assisted us. She was a main reason we will be going back. From pizza selections (which I had), to chicken parmesan, meaty lasagna, fresh salads and oh so many appetizers, the food was as good as any authentic Italian food I've tasted. It felt like family being in there. The drinks were plentiful and tasty too. An added note, I was informed that these owners are some family members of another family Italian restaurant in Toledo, which is Inky's where my husband and I had our first date fifty two years ago. So this even made the visit more memorable for us. I'd go with the German Chocolate Cake. It was divine! Calories don't count when it's that good.

sophia p.

Yelp
Not sure what type of food we got, but it's definitely not italian! We got a calamari appetizer that was processed and had no taste. Our entrees were covered in an overly sweet tomato sauce you'd find in cafeteria food and the salads consisted on iceberg lettuce, 3 croutons, a chunk of tomato. The staff was very nice and we got good service, but we won't be coming back again!

Yelp
Hmmmmm. There's something familiar about Incorvia's Bene Italiano. You know? There's another place, located exactly 4 miles due east of here, with similar food, and a similar name...and that's all I'm going to say about that. The pizza at Incorvia's is outstanding. Excellent sauce, excellent crust (thin, flaky, crispy), excellent cheese blend, and great toppings. It's not #ToledoStyle, BUT, a place in West Toledo has been producing an (exceedingly) similar pie for some 60 years. It's almost as if the same cooks, Keith and Chris Incorvia, are using the same recipe... Carb hater? Get the large Italian salad. It's one of the best "pure salads" in this town. At 9 bucks for a large, it's a fantastic value. It comes loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, kalamata olives, oil&vinegar, herbs/spices, pepperoncini, and best of all, lots of pepperoni, salami, and provolone cheese. The antipasto salad is the same, but it's topped with little oily dead fish. Some people call these things "anchovies." Wine, beer (Stella, Glass Hopper IPA, etc), and hard liquor are all available. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The folks running this place are top flight. The location? Dead center of the Toledo metro area. It's right by my place of work. Hey! I just had an idea! Swing by my office and say "Hi!" We'll do lunch at Incorvia's Bene Italiano! Five Stars!

Kelli M.

Yelp
Placed a takeout order for three. All three salads were missing dressing. Two entrees featured breaded chicken parm were grilled. All entrees were so over sauced. Meatballs were the texture of sandpaper and about as flavorful. The combo platters were almost inedible because you couldn't distinguish one dish from another.

Angelo S.

Yelp
Had lunch with my wife and 17 month old grandson. Keith the owner brought our grandson and small plate of spaghetti and fries. Before we even ordered at no charge. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Thank you Keith Incorvia for making our experience so enjoyable. We will be back
google avatar

Laurie S.

Yelp
We met our friends here after hearing great reviews. The staff was very friendly & very generous. We told them it was our first time & we were brought French fries with seasoned parmesan blend on top & cheese bread before we had even ordered our meals. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great lasagna & great pizza!! We had great service & the place is very nice and comfortable!! The portion sizes were big!!
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
Just had dinner here again. Their Italian salad and cheese pizza are absolutely marvelous. Our server, Cole, was spot on with everything and brought refills before we even knew we needed them. He did a great job

Joan D.

Yelp
This place is the real deal I half expected Al Pacino in The Godfather to be sitting in the back room. The ambiance was like a Cedar Point Ride without the safety rails down, it was exhilarating and fun to recreate the memories of past authentic Italian restaurants, e.g from MiamI and Cleveland. The Lasagna with meat sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness and zestfulness. I was sad to leave this magnificent place....until we meet again (in two weeks), don't change a thing

Ruth E.

Yelp
We had 12 people there Sunday for a birthday. The service was great! The food however was disappointing. The meat sauce on the spaghetti tasted burnt and the chicken alfredo was covered in thick cheese not sauce. The combo meals were covered in sauce. It was totally inedible. I won't be going back.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We had a veggie pizza and it was delicious! The crust was crunchy and thin but substantial enough to hold the bounty of veggies that were loaded on the pizza pie. The mushrooms they used were great and almost had a meaty quality to it - very delicious and will try other kinds of pizza next time we're in town - thumbs up!

Yelp
Wandered into the restaurant a bit after 8 hoping to miss the dinner rush and we were successful. We were greeted and seated right away. The staff all seemed pleasant and the place appeared clean. Our waitress arrived quick and obtained our drink order. She returned with your drinks quickly as well. After spending some time looking through the menu which had a couple combo meals and your traditional Italian food we had made a decision. The fettuccine Alfredo price was a bit more then the spaghetti Alfredo so I had decided that was a better option. The combo plates seemed well priced so that was selected as well. Our meals came with some brewed and butter which was soft and good. The salads looked good. I had Italian Wedding soup. It was very bland. The food arrived within a timely manner. I had ordered the small plate and there was plenty to eat. The sauce could use some more garlic maybe as it was a bit bland as well. The lasagna was on but seemed to lack in cheese. The stuffed shells were dry. The portions were large and shouldn't walk away hungry. Our drinks never go empty and our waitress was great.

Drew H.

Yelp
Solid pizza here. Almost a layered/croissant style crust. It's different, but good. Well seasoned sauce/quality cheese, lil grease heavy. Decent old school Italian vibe throughout. Average service in two recent visits.
google avatar

Cynthia P.

Yelp
I cannot believe some of the positive comments! Tried it for the first time today.....horrible, horrible, horrible! Worst Italian I have EVER had! I had the combo plate with lasagna, penne pasta and chicken parm. When it came out it was SMOTHERED and swimming in sauce. I had to move the sauce aside to see what was underneath. The lasagna was nothing but a mushy mess that was horrible. The chicken parm which I assume was crispy at one time was soggy. The pasta was cold and hard. My husband had manacotti which was OVER stuffed and soggy and of course swimming in sauce. Ordinary salad in a small bowl. The bread was good but cold. I ate 3 bites of chicken and sent the whole plate away. They thought they were going to take 10% off of $18 till I told them absolutely not! The manager ended up charging me $8 for that 3 bites! Worst restaurant I have ever encounter in this city!! If you thought this food was good, you must have no sense of taste!! Say what you will, this is MY opinion! Beware!! Day 2....I was sick to my stomach all night.
google avatar

James A. M.

Yelp
Some of the best lasagna you'll ever have! Prepare for leftovers, too. The pizza is also delicious.
google avatar

Adela S.

Yelp
This is a casual family Italian restaurant with reasonable prices and large portions. I ordered the lasagna and made two meals from it. It tasted fresh and well cooked, but the red sauce was a little sweet for my taste, although it was thick and had great body. The antipasto salad was fresh and the meats and cheeses were very tasty. I actually didn't mind seeing the salad served with club crackers, although non traditional. Our server was friendly and talked a bit with the table, which was very nice. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and felt like the meal and atmosphere were just as they should be, casual and not too fussy.

Adrienne A.

Yelp
This place is cozy and the food is delicious. Huge portions - I love the lasagna and spaghetti. The staff here are all fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Sean M.

Yelp
Great restaurant with delicious food. We love their pizza, although we have really liked several other options also.

Sara E.

Yelp
One star because the pizza is good although hit or miss lately. The rest of the menu is utterly inedible.

Yelp
Obviously, someone OUTSIDE of the family needs to (briefly) compare Incorvia's Bene Italiano to the original Inky's. So here I go. Service: I've had nothing but good service at Incorvia's, but if you read about someone else (trolls?) complaining of poor service, remember that the place is brand new and a few probably kinks need to be ironed out. I have had some spotty service at Inky's, however. Of course, I've been to Inky's about 200 times, and I've only been here three times. Pizza: The same at both places. EXACTLY the same. If there's a difference, I'm not able to discern it. The pizza is excellent. Lasagna: I've only ever eaten Inky's lasagna once...it was OK. The lasagna at Incorvia's seemed to be a little better. Italian salad. Very similar. The Italian dressing at Inky's (the old place), is definitely better, however. The dressing at Incorvia's (the new place) is too sweet and somewhat viscous. In my opinion, Incorvia's should revert to the original recipe offered over in West Toledo. Location/atmosphere: Who cares. The new place is a little nicer, but the old place is replete with memories and nostalgia. It's a wash.

T R.

Yelp
Ordered pickup last night. Pizzas and salad. The pizza was very good and it went quick. The issue was the salad. Ordered a Greek salad, which the menu provided no description. It was loaded with gyro meat and unfortunately was for a vegetarian. Have never seen a Greek salad come with meat, unless it comes as an add-on or upcharge. Additionally, it came with no dressing. It was an expensive learning experience ($17 salad).
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
I'll give this 3.5 stars. Typical Inky's cusine. There are issues but they are minor. One issue is table size. The tables were long enough to accommodate 6-7 guests but they are narrow. It made it feel as though you were on top of the person across from you. They also say us in front and you get a blast of cold air every time the door opened. I'm also not a fan of the napkin dispenser on the table. Like a bulky box of tissues. When it came to silverware they give you a knife and fork but had to ask for a spoon. We had 7 in our party and the wait staff was slow. More due to understaffing than anything else. That said, the food was good. I had the Italian sausage dinner. You get 2 patties and a side of spaghetti. The sausage patties were a little dry but still tasty. I think there are growing pains and a reputation to live up to. This place can get better an I hope it does
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Open just over a week, they are still working out service kinks. But the food makes it all worthwhile. Possibly the best salad in Toledo is their antipasto with anchovies. The house Italian dressing is so much better than anything ever poured from a bottle, that you'll just have to taste it to believe it. I tried the "special" pizza, which has a meat sauce, meatballs, sausage, onions and mushrooms, mounded on the crisp, thin crust, and covered with great tasting cheese. A welcome addition to the area.
google avatar

Diane L.

Yelp
The food was meh at best - too much sauce on the food. What are they trying to hide? The service was awful. The waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. It took 24 minutes from the time we walked in the door to get WATER. It was over an hour from when we came in to when we had our entrees. We had to ASK for bread. At an Italian restaurant. WTH? Didn't care for Inky's, don't care for this one either. They would have done better to set up several waitress stations, instead of putting 2 in a centrally located place (where customer move back and forth through, when they aren't stopped by the waitresses standing around waiting to put their orders in). Also, they could have had the host or bus people getting drink orders for people. The host was standing around most of the time, jonesing for something to do...
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
Calamari was outstanding! Best I've had in Toledo! Perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. I tried the White Pizza which was rich and wonderful with that thin, flaky crust that immediately says "Inky's"! Service could be improved but I chalked that up to inexperience and I believe that will improve in short time. Dining partners had Eggplant Parmesan, the Alaskan Pollak, Meat pizza, and Spaghetti with meatballs...All reported that their selections were good, other than a slice of eggplant that was very thick and appeared to be the top piece of the eggplant and was mostly core and impossible to cut let alone attempt to eat. Again this could be due to inexperienced staff. Air conditioning was not operating properly but the issue was being addressed by owners. All in all a favorable experience and I'm anxious to return for another visit.
google avatar

Doug T.

Yelp
Last night was the second time I've eaten here, and the first time we dined in. Both times the pizza was fantastic. As for the dine in service...I don't want to say it was bad. I think overwhelmed is a more appropriate word. We were there at 6:00 on a Saturday, and the place was packed. In spite of that, I still recommend it.
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
I love this place. I ordered the house Merlot and was very pleased. I ordered he spaghetti and meatballs with meat sause. We also ordered the cheesy bread.

Sue M.

Yelp
Would like to thank Keith and Chris Incorvaia's Bene Italiano Restaurant for an awesome experience last night. I believe I speak for the entire Sass family and "extendeds" that were there. The food was excellent. The server beyond reproach! She deserves a medal for dealing with us and always with a smile! Atmosphere perfect. Everyone so friendly, including other customers. Very glad we chose you to help us celebrate our Aunt/Mother Doris Lezon's 86th birthday. We WILL be back!

Wendi S.

Yelp
We had my dads memorial dinner here. Roughly fifty family and friends joined us. The room they hold large parties in was decorated for the holiday and nicely private. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it and were excited to find a new ( to them) restaurant to enjoy. They were very east to work with and friendly. Thank you!

John W.

Yelp
My family placed a big order 1/07/23. Italian from this place we were told is very good, so we ordered rigatonI, spaghetti and manicotti all were awful and we couldn't eat but a couple bites as everything had a spicy sauce and it gave me the worst heartburn ever. I don't know about you but Italian food should not be like Mexican food ever. Save your money this is not how any food should taste. Very upset as this was very expensive and none of us could eat it

Bob B.

Yelp
Food was great and service was excellent. Really liked their pizzas and the stuffed shells were homemade and great.

Yelp
Again I'll give them five stars. Busy busy busy night but the service and food made up for that. Never had to say a word, Rita was all over it the fact that it took longer and our food was delicious. I did not eat my minestrone not because it wasn't delicious just a bit heavier than what I'd expected. We will continue to visit as they truly take pride in their business.
