Great casual place. The bartender and waiter were so friendly and welcoming. I got the large pizza and split it with half Buffalo chicken and half steak bomb. Both were delicious! I liked the red sauce better than the white sauce.

Exactly what I was looking for! Its been a long time since I was in Boston and was just passing thru. A true, long time corner pizza pub Boston style. Locals are hanging here, the food was great. Owners and servers are local. Felt good to back in the Beantown eating east coast pizza in a pub.

Best subs and pizza always fresh. We love the pizza nice thin crust good among cheese and sauce has like the old authentic Boston Pizza taste you know..I order from here alot always trying new things call up ask for the daily specials. Always something new to try ..I tried the BBQ plate and it was really good . There BBQ sauce is the best . The portion is big and shareable . We also tried the shrimp Alfredo with broccoli it was very delicious

Huge fan! Came today for the first time and loved it. You can tell a lot about a bar by how many regulars it has. Seemed like everyone knew everyone here. Didn't eat much but my wife loved the tuna salad. Other foods looked good. Will definitely come back!

We stopped in during a layover at Logan International and are so happy that we did. Walking in we were greeted by the greatest personality, Judy. She was so helpful and made great recommendations from their menu. I would highly recommend listening to Judy, she will not steer you wrong. We had the Shrimp Scampi Pizza and the stuffed Halibut. The pizza was amazing - tons of cheese and butter with plump, fresh shrimp. Somehow with all the butter it was not greasy. The crust was also very tasty and perfectly cooked. The halibut was very fresh and mild tasting. The stuffing was so good. John, the owner, also came over to talk to us and gave us some ideas for the area. While we were there, you can tell it was a great local place and reminded us of the vibe of the show Cheers. Our only regrets are that they won’t deliver to Missouri and that we won’t get to say hi to Judy every day.

Kelley Square Pub has such an incredible community feeling and I really love the vibe here. Nice staff (thank you Chico!) and decor, not too crowded either. Amazing pizza and buffalo wings to pair with a great selection of drinks.

I visit Kelly Square Pub in East Boston many times and always happy. The steak tips are very delicious. I don’t find steak like this in other places. The people are friendly and the place feel like home. Is perfect for a good meal with friends.

One and Done – What a Disappointment Kelley Square Pub has officially earned a spot on my “never again” list. This visit was just too ridiculous to ignore. Right off the bat, walking in from the back parking lot, we passed a female server still in her work apron, chain-smoking cigarettes just a few feet from the door. Not exactly the warmest welcome—and certainly not the most hygienic. Inside, things somehow got worse. The day bartender—clearly well into his 40s and looking like he hadn’t slept in a week—was visibly coked out, pounding drinks, and being obnoxiously loud with a much younger female server. She seemed more interested in her TikToks and selfies than, I don’t know, doing her job? She also had her phone blasting music at the bar, making it impossible to enjoy even the jukebox—because yes, I tried. The food? Total afterthought. The chicken parm was bland and buried in overcooked pasta. The fried shrimp had a weird tangy taste, like they’d been sitting around too long. Definitely not fresh. Definitely not good. To top it off, the bartender and his TikTok entourage decided to post up at a table shoved awkwardly at the end of the bar—and proceed to be the loudest, most obnoxious people in the entire room. The rest of the guests at the bar were visibly annoyed, trying to talk over these three clowns who were clearly desperate for attention. Between the trashy behavior, the awful food, and the total lack of professionalism, this place is a joke. If this is what passes for hospitality here, save yourself the time and skip it. There are way better spots in the area that actually care about their guests—and their food.

Fabulous! Neighborhood old school bar and restaurant with can't be beat East Boston Service. Food and setting is great! First night in town, a Saturday walked in and treated like the Mayor! Dining and sports bar option with a family dining room in the back. Delicious food, we returned the next evening for round 2! If you are in East Boston do not miss!

Good food. The garlic pizza could have been cooked with the garlic added after it was baked. Little too much garlic. The pepperoni and black olive pizza was very good. Classically made with an even share of toppings. The pie was not over cooked, with a crisp crust. Very satisfying.

5/5 old school bar and restaurant that hasn't changed with the times and that's what I love about it. This spot is the last of a dying breed of places, you walk in and see Boston legends from floor to ceiling in signed picture frames - signed boxing gloves by golden glove winners, this is East Boston how I remember it growing up. Bar pizza is exactly what I was looking for and crispy to perfection. The honey glazed steak tips were also cooked exactly how I wanted and the waitress who was working with only one other was more attentive than some of the wait staff I have seen at the "high class" places in Boston. Props to this place for preserving this classic East Boston Dive.

My go-to local pizza joint. Pizza is always great! If you want to try something different, get the shrimp scampi Pizza .

Been coming here for just over two years now after moving back to the area. What can I say about a perfect little neighborhood spot? A lot of people live walking distance from here. I would put their pizza up against anyone's. The steak tips are also surprisingly good. You get great value on your dollar with the drinks as well! Great place!!

Such a fun pub full of east Boston locals! It has the same vibe as the Cheers bar-everyone knows everyone's name! Service was so friendly and warm. They have all the typical pub food with a full bar, beer and wine. We had the pizza-really good!

This place was amazing! Now after eating here, I'm not understanding why anyone could leave anything but a great review! The steak tips were to die for! The ribs fell off the bone! The staff were amazing and willing to fox and accommodate anything that was needed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

One of the best pizzas on the east coast. They often add interesting and inventive apps from time to time as well.

I hadn't been back in a while but it was amazing. We had lunch and the steak tips and fries were so good. My friend had the best BLT ever. Kelly's is one of the last longtime East Boston establishments around. It's great to see the owner greeting customers and there's familiar, friendly waitstaff. Plus they have super comfortable booths! I can't wait to go back!

Visiting from seattle for a conference, and this spot was walkable from our Airbnb. It's such a great, local pub spot. Deana was our server, and she was incredible. She was on top of our orders, manning a ton of tables, and yet she was very hospitable. Thanks!

Always a fun place to go. Usually go when in town and go to dinner at Rino's. Sometimes before dinner and sometimes after. Love the vibe and people. Service is good and quick.

Open late and delivers with their own drivers. This place was recommended by the women working the hotel desk. I ordered the combo pizza and within 40 minutes it was at my door. A nice flavor with a good crust. Also fresh ingredients. Way better than chain pizza. Next time I would ask for it well done as I like my cheese dark and greasy. I might also get just pepperoni and sausage as the veggies add a bit much water. The Small is enough for 2-3 people.

Love this hidden gem in eastie The staff was extremely nice and accommodating :) The drinks were very affordable- I got the creamsicle martini which was so tasty & tasted exactly like a creamsicle (and it wasn't spirit forward which was nice!) But the real star of the show was the pizza - yum yum yum! The best part is they have Detroit style & you can add whatever toppings you like :)

Moved to East Boston last year and this place was on our radar. We had *one* drink early on, and the bartender was super nice and friendly. And funny. Prices are reasonable too. It's a classic pub - boxing memorabilia everywhere, walls that tell a story. A place forged by time and love. A place that can be a second home. But as COVID rates increased, we had to stop going places... Until now. We recently got vaccinated! Decided to finally come back to Kelley's and try the food - and holy moly , it's SO good!! The pizza was perfectly crispy, high quality ingredients, minimal 'flop' and packed with flavor. It may be the best in Eastie. Also did an order of steak tips and sausage - both were cooked to perfection with a lovely smokey char finish. Fries were tasty and well seasoned. Also did a bombolini for dessert, which is an absolute gamechanger. I will dream about it. Impressed with everything. I'm looking forward to it being our regular place.

There is a lot to like at Kelley Square Pub. If I lived in the area I would visit often. If you are a visitor you won't be disappointed coming here for a drink and a bite. I stopped in Kelly Square on a couple of recent visits to East Boston. If my review were to have a head line it would read, "Better than average pub". The menu has a ton of stuff on it and is a combo of what you might find in a sports bar and a grinder shop - two of my favorite places to eat. I ordered different grinders on my visits. I had great service on all my visits and sat at the bar for lunch each visit. It is very comfortable inside. The atmosphere is casual but not a dive. There is a lot of boxing and some horse racing memorabilia on the walls. It is a little on the louder side for the type of place it is. They ought to turn the TV audio off of they are playing music. All in all Kelly Square is a real gem and a good find.

Looking for a new place to get a good pizza. Got take out 1/2 sausage 1/2 plain cheese. Best pizza I have had around here, good crispy crust, so we will be back. The restaurant looked relaxed and fun, so may choose to "dine in" next time.

Don't order their Buffalo chicken salad unless you want a handful of lettuce, and a side of un-sauced chicken fingers. Only reason this is 2 stars is because the pizza was warm when it was delivered, and the wings were ok.

Stopped in on a recommendation from a friend who grew up in the neighborhood. I'm a pizza lover and can't believe I've never been here. Fabulous homemade thin crust. Prefer white pizza with garlic perfection. My husband had steak tips with sausage and loved it. We will absolutely be returning. Wait staff are friendly & efficient. Definitely give it a try.

Just stopped by here for dinner with a few colleagues. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, good drinks and delicious food! Pork chops w/vinegar peppers were my favorite! Good job gang!

My wife and I just went for the first time. The service was warm and great. Truly cared for how we were doing and followed up frequently. The food was fantastic and top end. Bacon wrapped scallops were fantastic. Chicken Parm Sub was huge but perfectly cooked and tasted great. If you're a sports fan, their walls are covered with a lifetimes worth of history from every sport you can think of. You can crank your neck looking at all the photos. Great food, felt like I was part of their family. Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Just a great experience period!! The bar area is perfect, loud, busy, everyone knows each other ... perfect!! The staff is great. Hard to explain, but ... After being there a few times, you get a feeling of belonging. Haven't had anything bad yet! Bacon wrapped Scallops ... the fried seafood platter ... the chowder ... all wonderful ... but my favorite is the sausage and beef tips!!!

Food is super quick and delicious! Portions are extremely generous! Music and general ambiance is great. Most of all - the staff is just so nice. They go above and beyond and make the experience feel super homey and personable!

Been here a few times and have tried the chicken parm, lamb tips, and pizza. The pizza was mediocre. But not bad enough that I wouldn't get it again. Chicken parm was fine-ish but super oily. When I ordered the lamb tips they were actually delicious, however I ordered this as take out and they forgot to give me the side it comes with (fries). So I basically paid $15 for 4 or 5 lamb chunks and a side salad with some pathetic looking lettuce. Probably won't be going again. If you are somewhat health conscious then my opinion is nothing here I've tried is worth the calories. However, there are such few places to choose from in Eastie

First off, I called them to make sure they were open since it was Columbus Day and I'm from out of town, so I was just making sure. The guy who answered the phone was super rude. After I asked him what time they close, he said 11 pm, I said thank you and he immediately hung up without saying bye or anything...sooooo rude!!! Anyway, I ordered the chicken fingers, which were just okay. Missing some flavor in them. My boyfriend loved the bacon wrapped scallops. They were rich in flavor. Also the ganache cake was HUGE. I couldn't finish it. It was pretty delicious though! Overall, experience was just ok.

Judy!!!! Stopped in on a Sunday with a vicious hangover. I've never been to Kelly Square but many people told me to give it try. My prayers were answered by a wonderful feisty bartender named Judy. You can tell she's a fixture at this place for years. We start talking and she suggests a White Russian to try to level me off. What a perfect cure, a couple of these and I was back on my feet. Great conversation, nice patrons, and great drinks. A great local bar for all. Next time we will eat. Thanks

This isn't a place you come to on a first date, it isn't a place where I would bring my kid, and it's not a "first choice" destination. What it is, however, is a simple, relatively clean locals bar with friendly service and decent food. My flight arrived about 3 hours before my colleague's, so with time to kill, I took to Yelp to guide me somewhere closeby where I can kill time as opposed to sitting in Boston Logan. In an area surrounded by ethnic restaurants and bars, on an unassuming corner, sits KSP. The bar area, albeit somewhat small and cramped, is fully stocked and surprisingly comfortable. I initially grabbed a high-top in the bar area, but moved to the bar as soon as I noticed a seat open up. I was greeted immediately by the bartender with a glass of ice water and a menu. After perusing and knowing I didn't want to eat a lot (we were going to J P's in Westborough for their lobster rolls on our way to Worcester), I knew I definitely didn't want anything fried. Although it wasn't cheat day, the calzone caught my eye. I went for the spinach, add chicken. The bartender asked if I wanted "gahlic" too, and being a sucker for the Boston accent AND anything garlic, I gave an affirmative headshake. It only took about 15 minutes before a MASSIVE calzone was placed in front of me, cut into 4 huge pieces, on a pizza tray. After giving it a couple minutes to cool, I dug into my first piece. It was your basic calzone, full of fresh sauteed spinach, garlic, and chunks of grilled chicken. I could only muster one piece before asking for a doggie bag. If I had to kill time near the airport in the future, I don't know if I would necessarily seek this place out. It was good, but nothing memorable.

Was traveling and needed a spot close to the airport to eat and watch an NBA game. Several TVs, cold beer, wings and pizza, can't really go wrong. Inside dining available. Wings and pizza were great, would go back.

Man, those sirloin tips & sausage were good tonight, and the salad & bakes potato were perfect companions. My date had the burger & fries. She liked it too. But the drinks... oh, my! That Grapefruit Martini is wicked good! I need a gallon of that to go!!! Our server was pleasant and the prices were fair. Food was good, too... but did I tell you about that Grapefruit Martini yet? Oh, man!

Not much to say - friend and I stopped by to get out of the cold while we waited for a table at Rino's and to get a drink. The beer came out quick and cold. Lighting was a bit weird. I would have expected slightly darker and it was pretty packed with folks on a Friday night.

This star is based on the experience I just had here. Beyond disappointed. We were driving around thinking of where to eat when at the red light I saw Kelleys and instantly said lets go there I want their teriyaki wings. If you've ever had them you know how good they are. We always used to order from here when we lived around the corner, now we go to their location in Peabody since we moved. We literally order teriyaki wings anytime we visit. Today the waitress brings the wings out and instantly i see they are way over cooked (and we like blackened).We tried the wings, that were barely covered in the delicious teriyaki sauce and both agreed that they were way to dry. I wish I could have taken a picture but things went left quickly. We called her over , and simply stated the wings were over cooked. She instantly got defensive and said thats how they come.. I replied I've eaten here and Peabody and many times. She rudely said so you want another order or no? Yes another order. She come back and puts the same wings on the table and says the cook says thats how they are. We didn't speak so she kept saying the same thing... In my head I'm furious but only told her there is nothing else for her to say. I work in a customer facing environment and I wasn't going to react and ruin other peoples meals. As she walked away, so did I. Completely floored that this happened. Hope your started cooking our entire order and its gets taken from your wage.

Ordered online for a delivery. Living less than a mile away I got the food in about 30minutes. My calzone was missing in what they delivered. So I called to let them know then I got it 10minutes after. Not that bad. The delivery guy was soo sorry. But it was fine with me. However, the food was very good, the calzone was loaded and so big! For the price it's' definitely worth it !

Staying at airport but wanted something different. 1 chicken parmigiana calzone. It was huge, but not enough sauce, no dipping sauce provided and it's not cut. Ordered delivery to airport hotel. 1 wrap, wife said was good, fries could have killed for salt. Came in about 50 mins, no napkins or silverware. Some sauce and silverware could have killed it.

A welcoming cozy place! Everyone including other customers are friendly and make you feel like you're A part of their family there. Wednesday when we went was pizza night we for a delicious large pepperoni pizza for the price of a small! And the steak abs cheese subs were delicious!

Going out for dinner while dieting usually means my choices are salad or salad. Especially when the word Pub is in the name. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of options here! Not only does Kelly Square offer a great selection of pizza and standard bar food, they also have steak tips to lamb tips to chicken to italian sausage to stuffed peppers and several other items us low carb-ers can enjoy! The first time I visited I had a stuffed pepper and a cup of chili. Both were delicious! The second time I was there I had steak tips and an italian sausage (just give me a plate full of meat). The sausage was excellent but the steak was a little overdone. Still a good flavor though and did the job. My husband has always gotten their pizza and loves it. He doesn't feel the need to try other things when he's perfectly happy with their pizza. Everyone I've encountered at Kelly Square has been extremely friendly and makes you feel like you have been going there for 20 years. And speaking of, I'm sure there are plenty of people who have. It seems everyone knows each other in there! We will definitely keep coming back.

Lots of locals here. Average selection, average taste, average service...way overpriced. If you don't go here all the time to hang with the gang, keep looking. They'll do just fine.

You got a love this place it hasn't changed in years. The workers are all friendly they make great drinks and they even have a conversation with you. If you're a sports fan you'll enjoy walking through and checking out the gloves and some posters of some of the long gone heroes. The drinks are at a fair price and the pour is generous. The food looks good unfortunately I did not have a chance to try any but I have been in there multiple times and the drinks at A1. Parking is a little tough but I always seem to find a spot. Overall an excellent place to hang out unwind and chat with friends.

I was staying at a hotel nearby and figured I'd order from this place since the hotel was advertising it and it has 4.5 stars on google. Quick delivery but the food was inedible I had mozzarella sticks and fries which were both terrible and cold some how even with the delivery being fast. The worst part of this experience was the steak and cheese sub, after 2 bites I discovered a plethora of bugs (weevils) as shown in the photos.I swear that meat was not steak, it was so dry and rough. I was sick for the rest of the day and lost my appetite for days. It made me not trust any restaurant. I got a full refund but that didn't make up for anything as I was sick the whole day. I let the hotel know and they said they would stop advertising this place.

Overall, not a bad place to eat at all. The waitress was attentive which I always appreciate, though she seemed a bit annoyed to be there. No biggie as we're all entitled to have an off-night once in a while. The food was good, though I'd recommend perhaps cooking the haddock stuffing separately in the future as it tasted like I was eating baked fish stuffed with raw stuffing. Everything I ate that needed to be fried was good (mozzarella cheese sticks, steak fries). I'm not sure if the multitudes of signed photos on the walls are supposed to enhance the ambiance of the place, but I didn't really feel at liberty to get up and look at them up-close for fear of upsetting my waitress or the management. All in all, the food is decent, but don't go there if you're looking for a warm welcome. You're there to eat and they're there to make money. It is what it is.

Love Kelley's Pizza. They make there own dough and bake in screaming hot ovens. Sampi is my favorite. Awesome hot, warm, or cold from the fridge.

My rating isn't low due to food or in house service, it's low to the fact the gentleman that answers the phone for take out service. Is very abrupt and rude. In a service of take out your contact person should be a lot friendlier and have better phone etiquette. His telephone manners are some of the worse.

What the actual eff is wrong with these people. Made an order via the phone and the dude was so rude to me. I ended up calling right back and cancelling the order, i just couldn't do it. He then screamed at me and told me never to call again. Lol as if! Some people just have no clue how to run a business. Absolutely wild!!

When you look at this joint from the outside, you may think dive bar. Well, we all learned in grade school to not judge a book by it's cover. Kelley's is a damn good place when you get inside. The team is always nice. Service stellar. Menu has a very nice variety of options. Food comes quickly and is always above expectations. Yes, this is an old school EASTIE crowd, but that adds to the charm. And hey... less than a mile from the harbor... beat that.

Came here back in March forgot to give these people props. Had a long ass layover in Beantown and wanted to find a REAL Boston place to eat. Not oysters or a Sam Malone made up bar. A REAL place. Yelp guided me and a short cab ride later we were eating some of the best pizza I ever had. They had just opened for the day so we had the place to ourselves but it filled up quick. Good problem to have for them. This place is killer and I hope I have a layover again cuz this is where I will start my holiday...
