I don't usually complain but what an experience my family and I had at this establishment. First we ordered an appetizer, cauliflower bites. There was 8 on the plate. We had two a piece. Then we ordered wings because we heard these were the best around. Well these wings were anorexic. They looked like they came from the tiniest Cornish hens imaginable. It was actually shocking how tiny these wings were and they're getting top dollar for them, 20 wings @ $25 is truly sad. The only positive thing we encountered was our waitress, an amazing woman. So unfortunately we were had but I'm glad I can say I'll never be back!!!

Love coming here, food is excellent (we usually get wings, zucchini bites and the brownie a la mode - all great). May be a little wait during rush hour but it’s worth it. Service is friendly and quick and options/specials are always on-point. Staple establishment in the area!

Best wings around. If you like a crispy wing, this is your place. Always great food and amazing service. I must stop anytime I’m in Scranton.

This is the kind of place that makes me wish there was an extra star in the rating system. Fabulous wings, we are so picky about wings and these are exactly what we like. Crispy with tasty sauces and fresh celery. The fries are excellent, the service is stellar (even though it was crazy busy), the prices are reasonable. I had a pineapple martini for desert which was gorgeous and delicious and my guy had the pumpkin lush.

Went there today for the 1st time in a bit, used to get there weekly. It is still the great food, service and atmosphere!

Just tried Kelly’s for the very first time and most likely will not try it again!! My husband and I love wings and wanted to try a new place and with the decent reviews I was expecting a lot better.. My husband ordered 2 orders of wings “hot & saucy” and 2 steak and cheese wraps with no tomatoes. We both hate tomatoes and don’t eat them. The lady that took our order read the order back on the phone correctly. We get home with the food and the wings were dry as a bone with a little tiny bit of some greasy type sauce under the wings and both of our cheese steak wraps were filled with large square chunks of tomatoes throughout them. 🤢 We were basically still hungry after and the order was $40.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. But guy is that just an old vintage smell or is there something wrong with the plumbing?

Kelly's is a Staple in Scranton, they use only the best wings , sauce is excellent, Beer is always Cold!

SMALL, CRISPY WINGS! One more time for those who are looking for medium or large wings: SMALL AND CRISPY! My favorite wing place of all time. You don't have to order extra crispy or wet, they come out perfect every time. They are cooked to order, so it can take a while longer than places who pre-cook. Try a Kelly Fry or French Onion Soup and pretty much anything else on the menu. All good all the time. Service is always friendly and quick, even when busy. They've been here since 1990, so I think they have it figured out. Bonus craziness on St Patrick's Parade Day, bag pipes and good cheer o'plenty!

(4 1/2 stars) An institution in the city of Scranton! The big argument about this place will be that they have "pigeon wings" or tiny wings. While their wings do tend to be smaller than other normal or even jumbo sized wings, to call them pigeon wings is just ridiculous. If you're someone who eats an order of 10 feel free to order 15 here and get the same full belly effect. The one thing they have going on that cannot be matched is consistency. It doesn't matter who's cooking, the day of the week, or the crowd size. The wings are always the same size, cooked the same way, and sauced the same way. I do feel as if they travel well too due to their smaller size. Reheating them with an extra side of sauce, has proven to be a hit at parties. They deserve to be in the conversation for best wings in the area. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a large family friendly dining room. The one negative, I do wish the bar area was larger. If you're able to find a seat, it is a nice time, but it is a very narrow and limited seating experience.

We go to Kelly's once every few weeks for wings (not on wing night). They're always consistent, delicious, and fast. The staff is always friendly as well

After a few years not going to Kelly's, I found the wings to be the small ones, as they come in small and large. The small ones have Wing Night at 50 cents apiece . Kelly did away with Wing Night and 10 wings are $12 The wings I got were very small and over cooked for my taste. 2 bits and it was gone . The $4 draft domestic beers are too high in price and should not be more than $3 top for the area . The bartenders and staff are very nice though .

I ordered 100 wings for a family get together, they were quite literally the smallest wings I've ever had and it was over $100 for pick up. The sauce is still great but not good value, "the one bite wing."

Not happy to spend $24.00 on baby wings. Like who would be happy to spend 24 on 20 wings. Never ordering from this place again.

The wings are so over rated I've been hearing so much about them and finally got a chance to have them and what a disappointment The only reason I'm giving 2 starts is because the Martini list was long and I was able to try 3 different ones The Michelle is by far the best tasting but if you want a kick order the watermelon

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is an embarrassment. The wait staff gets lost in the clouds with no direction on where to go or what to do. The food is just outright bad. I got a chicken wrap and wings and not only was the wrap just lettuce and tomato but they are straight up robbing people blind with the size of the wings. They should make sure on the menu they promote 1 bite wings before the people order them. Not only was the size of the wings the smallest I have ever seen but it tasted like the fryer oil hasn't been changed in months. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the trip. This place should be demolished or be on kitchen nightmares.

Coming from near Fargo, ND I love the wings. I wish they had these wings back home. So good! The bartender was incredible and helped multiple people efficiently and with a smile. This will be my go to spot when I'm back in Scranton.

Delicious wings. Wing night is on Wednesday - minimum of 5 wings - with multiple sauces and rubs to choose from. They serve good blue cheese as well. Just be prepared to wait for a table around dinner time on Wednesday as wing night is a popular event.

SMALLEST WINGS EVER. The size is actually laughable. Smallest in town. I can't believe this place still gets crowds. Nice people, nice place, itty bitty teeeeeeenie tiny wings. Go to the Patch or Zaleskis. Trust me.

Best wings in Pennsylvania period. Kelly's has been in business and making deep fried wings since 1754- yep that's before the revolutionary war. They are a classic Irish pub with a restaurant area and a bar area. Sit at the bar area unless you have a large family. God beer is good and cold. Excellent assortment of bottled beer too. However I recommend the mixed drinks especially the MICHELE MARTINI. Get that and a dozen or two wings (extra crispy) you can't go wrong. Tell them Joe J sent you and you'll get the martini with a side car. Essentially Two martinis. Again tell them Joe J told you about this. Have fun. Also very packed on St Patrick's Day and Scranton St Patrick's Day that's s week before and see the parade. Have fun.

Excellent food, terrible service. I'll start with the good side first. Everytime I go here I always get something different, and they never disappoint. Every salad tastes great and the burgers and wings are unrivaled. Speaking of the wings, they're the best in the area. A little on the crispy side and bursting with spice and flavor. You can't go wrong with any type of sauce and the prices are good for what you're getting. If only my Kelly's experience had a "happier ever after ending", I'd be giving this place 5 stars. However, the service was awful. The speed at which my food came out was decent, but the waitress I had was very rude, disrespectful, and dull to my entire party. She constantly made comments on things she had no place butting in, and polarized my entire eating experience. I'm not one to get offended at many things, but what she was saying some very disrespectful things (that I chose not to specify) that were completely uncalled for. I know you can't judge an entire restaurant on one bad waitress I had, but it was so terrible I couldn't help leaving it out.

Great food, but customer service was a real issue for me and my friends tonight. We went and ordered one plate of 50 wings and split it amongst 5 people. We are all college aged kids and we dont make alot, so when we get to go out to eat it is a big event. At the end of our dinner when we got our check, our waitress tried to tip herself for 18 percent, which was absurd. When she came by the table I asked her if she would take off the 18 percent and that we would still tip but didnt have enough to pay 74 dollars when we were already paying 63. She proceeded to give me a nasty attitude and slammed the receipt in front of my face. Safe to say I wont come back after she attempted to scam us and then became nasty when I politely asked for a correction.

Going to Kelly's for wings always puts me in a good mood. I am addicted to hot wings, and Kelly's never lets me down. They're not the biggest or meatiest wings in the area, but they are consistently cooked to perfection...hot and crispy with just the right amount of sauce. I always start with an order of their hot, and if I'm still hungry, follow up with an order of hot/garlic. It's also a plus that you can order all drums or all flats at no extra charge. My one complaint is that I wish they had a larger selection of draft beer. At least they always have Harp Lager and a Sam Adams seasonal on tap. Overall, Kelly's shines with a great family atmosphere, incredible wings and great service.

Easily five stars because the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We got the 15 wings half mild half garlic and they where cooked to perfection (crispy & saucy).

Got the wing bites horrible... sauce was extremely oily barely could eat it wouldnt even want to try the actual wings with the sauce that bad

I wanted to check out this page out of curiosity, because I have been coming to Kelly's with my family since I was small. It is a nostalgic favorite of mine! You know, there are a whole lot of whiners complaining about the size of the wings, and I am here to defend said wings. Yes, the wings are small. That is because they are premium quality wings that are not pumped up with fillers - you can just taste it. If you want giant, fatty, slimeball wings, that's up to you. These are crispy, tangy, buttery, spicy, and overall delicious and I hope they never change! This is a no-frills establishment and I love it- everything is always so good. My dad orders French onion soup at every restaurant he visits. He travels a lot, and Kelly's still can't be beat. Their spinach bacon salad is 100. Even the fries are always hot and crispy and fluffy inside, just as they should be. And the bleu cheese is the GOOD stuff, with big chunks of cheese. Hello! Kelly's is a hometown favorite.

False advertisement on wing night. Wing night is posted on their website saying half off and it is completely false

Tried Kelly's tonight for the first time due to having a gift certificate. Food and service was good, regular portions. I drove out of my way just to try the place. I didn't see anything really special about it.

So try out Kelly's everyone raves about their wings .... ok we did. Mine did not look like that picture on here. They were cooked to perfection but the sauce was like watered down hot sauce. Nope not happening! Pizza was terrible as well ...bland nothing to remember. 130$ bill n unhappy. Waitress was awesome and the mixed drinks kicked ass. Not a total loss.

This place is perfect to go to with a friend or a loved one. The wings are perfect! Best wings I've had in a long time, totally worth the drive! :)

Their wings are awesome! My review would be a five if i had tried anything else lol. But when i wanna treat my family to an awesome friday or saturday treat we always go here.

This is a great place for a quick bite or meeting friends. You can't beat Kelly's wings and cheese fries! I'm not a fan of their pizza... is was mediocre at best. On our last trip, my cousin got a brownie ala mode which was yummy and huge! I've gotten takeout from there a few times which is good but had to wait a long time beyond when they said it would be ready the last time.

The Wings, vibes, and business is great here. I had the hot wings and honey bbq sauce wings with a glass of blue moon, loved everything about it. Watched the football with a few friends and made a few more. All around great place. BEST WINGS

If you want chicken bites with little to no meat and 95% breading then this is the place for you.

KELLYS BEST WING SPOT HANDS DOWN great for eating in and have a few beers berry family oriented good clean atmosphere I just wish they would upgrade there pizza it's hard to find a restaurant around that has good pizza and wings I normally pick up wings at Kelly's and go elsewhere for pizza but I give the wings and plenty of other foods five stars .

Wings are excellent, crisp, and consistent every single time you eat in or order takeout. Large selection of fries, the french onion soup is awesome as well. The staff is always efficient and pleasant!

I was on a service call for this restaurant, and I was lucky enough to obtain some wings at the end of the job. The wings were great garlic Parmesan with a small kick! It was great new to the area, so these wings hit the spot no doubt about it.

Driving to New York for a wedding and I stopped for the night on Scranton. Using google maps to locate a place to eat I found this gem. It was a Thursday night and the place was packed so I went to the bar. I ordered a draft beer and a cheese steak with fried onions. OMG this sandwich was so delicious. Best cheese steak I have eaten in years. Service was excellent like the food and the cold beer. Prices were reasonable and my only wish was to have a place like this in my hometown.

So everyone in Scranton talks about how great this place is and how they have amazing wings... The wings are delicious for sure, but they're TINY. They're like the littlest wings ever, and they're $0.70 each. Doesn't seem like a lot, but when you compare that to most places in the area that have $0.35-$0.50 wings, it kinda sucks. They have a very limited selection of draft beers, mostly Light beers and Yuengling, pitchers are $6.50 if I remember correctly. Also, if you're going to get wings, make sure you order Hot or Very Hot, my wife got the Medium and they were extremely mild, I got the Hot, and they were what I would call a "medium", but still very good.

Normally we look forward to the great food and great service. While the food was still great, I was very disappointed with the manger. I was overcharged, I felt, twice, the third time the manager came out she said she didn't have time for this and said dinner was on her very rudely. I felt bad for the waitress and I do hope she doesn't end up having to pay for it but I left what I thought was a substantial tip

Food was generally good the sauce in the wings was very good but the wings were small . I had a stake and cheese deluxe for the most part the stake was dry tasted good but dry frys very good the best part of our meal our services was very good JAMIE our waitress very good and at any time we needed anything she was there to serve us

Kellys used to be good, now they just serve miniature wings with a little wing sauce. Very disappointed with their wings.

Go to Kelly's 100 times, they're solid 100/100 visits. It's your basic Frank's Red Hot wing sauce, but you're never disappointed. The service is always great, a basic beer selection, good sides, and it's BIG. If you go on wing night it's a little crowded, but still worth the visit. Enjoy!

Used to be awesome by far the best wings in Scranton. Now they are tiny buttery messes with almost no wing sauce on them. They charge $1.50 for an extra side of sauce which was mainly butter. The place is also constantly packed with people which I'd good except there are too many tables so people are always bumping you from behind. Not exactly ideal when trying to eat a wing.

First time having these wings, they were very fresh, juicy, and crispy! On the small side but quality over quantity always wins. Great flavor from the sauce and the side bleu cheese. Definitely worth a try!

I have been going to Kelly's for many years. Their wings are simply the best in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area and their French Onion soup is the best anywhere. I have had French Onion soup all over the country including New York City and I haven't found one better. Order it with the cheese browned, but not burnt. You will not be disappointed.

My group of friends has had a wing night here for a long time, I've recently started going and have noticed that Kelly's reputation is completely undeserved. I understand the whole crispy wings thing, but Kelly's are so over cooked that you may as well call them chicken wing jerky. Their sauces are really good but they butcher the wings. People say they're small, they are because they cook every semblance of moisture out of them. Best wings in the area? I hope not. I recommend the volcano fries to enjoy their delicious sauce without eating their dried out wings. Also the service has recently gotten much worse, my friend waited over an hour for an order of fries.

Worst wings I have ever had, overpriced, overhyped. I used to go here every Wednesday for wing night years ago. It has fallen to cheap frozen food replacements, disgusting prices, and poor service. They have been surpassed by so many other restaurants that do it so much better.

Another week of travel and just had to hit Kelly's again, this time I ate in. A bit of a wait but the wings are so worth it..... The locals seem to know this but if you are traveling this place is great for wings and they have a great ranch dressing. Wednesday is the wing night but they are good priced wings any time. Staff is great and food comes out quick. A great little find.

I've been here a couple times while here on business. I've had the French onion soup twice now. It's very good. Also had BBQ wings. Loved them! I got the sauce on the side. The wings were crispy and delicious. I'll be back.

Wednesday night wing nite. Get there early for seating. Very popular. Wings hit the spot but not super great. They charge extra for leftovers so order accordingly. Legendary hot spot. Good service.
