Amazing black n blu burger that I think about way too much. Onion rings are great. Kiddos to the chef! Thank you. Bartender was also fantastic. It’s a little dive bar but has lots of TVs and excellent burgers, with tater tots or fries…both are good but I recommend tots or upgrade to onion rings. We only live once as far as science says….

I honestly can't believe I lived in this neighborhood for two years without ever stepping into Luna & Sage Bistro. From the outside it looks small, but inside it’s cozy, warm, and filled with the smell of fresh herbs and garlic. I came in for a solo dinner on a rainy Tuesday and was blown away. The grilled octopus was tender (not rubbery!) and the citrus glaze on top gave it a bright kick. My server, Natalie, was patient and helpful with wine suggestions and even brought me a free dessert sampler when she found out it was my birthday week. I left full, happy, and already texting friends to come with me next time.

Great Vibe and we love the bartenders, its our normal thursday night! The food is always good and tons of sports on the TVs.

Went this weekend after looking them up on Google. We had the fish and chips. Best anywhere!!!! I've gotten it while driving up the coast and no one can make the fish and chips any better. This place deserves 5 stars for the chef alone. Amazing day to play pool, drink, and listen to music.

Went to watch a game here. It's a pretty low key bar around dinner time. That food was surprisingly good. Very tasty blue cheese burger. The bartenders and server's were polite.

Popped in here for quick drinks while on a road trip. No time for food. Cool bartender with good pours. Cool people, cool vibe. God Bless America 🙏💪

The food was pretty good overall and there was pool. There was only one bartender though and few other people working when I went. Overall okay.

This post is only to say that Kelly's Pub doesn't have any bar trivia / pub quiz. It's standard operating procedure for bars to have weekly pub quiz - and they're a lot of fun. I have no idea when Kelly's Pub discontinued this tradition when they did have it back in the day...

Where the locals come for a friendly game of pool against each other, watch some games, & have a few drinks. Came to watch the padres game and had the chips & guac. I enjoyed it! The chips were fresh & guac well seasoned. The rest of the menu offerings looked good, but I wasn't too hungry so we didn't order anything else. It wasn't too crowded, restrooms were clean. Everyone was polite. 2 beers, 2 cocktails, and the appetizer came out to $40+ not too shabby.

I ate the 2 huge fish tacos all by myself. The white fish was lightly battered but so crispy. The cabbage/slaw was fresh and crisp. I just couldn't believe how light and fresh the fish were in this strip mall bar. The portions are huge for the burgers, salads and the fish tacos! I will ask next time though to sub out the tortillas chips that came with it. I would have preferred a salad. My daughter had the chicken caesar salad but the chicken was dry. We took the remaining salad home and I thought it still tasted great after hours being in the fridge. I would go back to Kelly's Pub in a hearbeat! There were pool and shuffleboard and tons of tvs tuned into sports to keep one occupied. Excellent Service!

Straight out of Kitchen Nightmares. We walked in to a full bar and empty dining room. More than half the tables had glasses and empty food baskets; the floor had spilled beer on it. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for a space at the bar to open up so we could put in an order. The bartender was busy drinking with her patrons. Sorry, I didn't think to take pictures, since we just wanted to move on. Clearly a neighborhood bar, but not in a good way. No eye contact or acknowledgment from anyone made me feel unwelcome. Pool tables seem cool though.

Sad, sad, sad. What is going on with Kelly's ???? :-( Prices have increased again and NO HAPPY HOUR ANYTHING AND NO SPECIALS ON GAME DAYS Stopped by and 6 customers including me in the entire bar. I asked what's going on and have heard nothing positive. I guess the owner needs to step in .................... ???????

This place is alright nothing special, just some beers on tap and possibly some cocktails they didn't have a menu but there were other drinks that were not beer. There was no waiter? we just had to order at the bar and bring it back which was fine just something to remember. It wasn't too decorative just a simple bar with lights and LED signs. The people there really enjoyed the bar you could tell that the individuals love coming to this place. It definitely keeps with local population, so I recommend you coming here with some friends after work for a excellent time with your group! Definitely would come here again and ask for a menu because there were others who had cocktails or what appeared to be and food. This place is more than the photo I took.

Food is good (if the bar keep doesn't spit on it) It's a sweat box Pool tables are good The service is by far the worst in SD North County as neighborhood bars go. The owner seemed to care less when brought to her attention. Walmart gives better service LOL

**Review your bill before you pay** A smaller neighborhood dive bar with in and outdoor seating. Darts and a couple of pool tables to have fun. I saw CA keno on the screen by the bar. Yummy fish and chicken strips!

10 bucks for a Spece Dust? I know prices are insane due to Bidenomics but this seems extreme.

Love this place! Staff is super friendly. Good beers on draft and a full bar. The jukebox volume is the perfect volume and gets my friends and me singing along every time.

Amazing staff and management. From the moment we walked in, you felt welcomed and comfortable. The service was extraordinary; everyone was so attentive and engaged. Adam, the security, waiter, barback: pretty much can do all was so helpful with the wedding party and made sure all were seated and had enough space to mingle. Dede (spelling), great place. We will be coming back to support you all.

My husband and I wanted to play Pool Table, and we found this place nearby. It's a cute neighborhood bar, which I can tell people here kind of know each other. We played some rounds of pool table games and they also have shuffle board. Here's beer options are nice, I definitely feel happy they have ciders from Julian! Anyways, it's nice place to hangout.

Great food and good place to watch a game. Waitress was very helpful and made sure my drink glass stayed full the way I like it.

My husband and I love Kelly's! We have been going here on and off for years, but have frequented it more since we now live within 5 minute walking distance. The bartenders, servers, and management are all very nice. We went in the early fall for lunch (when dining was allowed/SD was in the red tier) and had a great lunch, with strong and yummy drinks. Service was quick and friendly. My husband walks our young dog, Reese, by here a lot and server Andrea/owner DeeDee are the sweetest! They always give Reese pets and sometimes some chicken! They are so sweet. They are very dog friendly; you can bring your pet on the patio.

This place isn't bad, but isn't even average tier in my book. The garlic fries I got didn't even have good garlic flavors in it. It tasted like cheap, old garlic powder scattered over fries. I've been in many other pubs with way better garlic fries for a cheaper price, considering that this place charges over $5 for the fries. My friend also wanted to order pretzels, but the store ran out. So my friend decided to order chips instead. However, without letting her know, they eventually gave her pretzels. Kind of weird to give your customer an order that didn't even go through in the first place. All in all, not a recommended place. O'Brien's is way better and it can be cheaper.

The bartender was horrible to me. Cut me off when I was not even close to being drunk. So really inhospitable. I will not visit again.

Neat sport bar around rancho Bernardo, especially when not many sports bar around. Good selection of beers and other spirits. Nice food, not so great, but goes well with beer. Good options to play here, shuffle board and billiards table. Friendly bartenders, very nice to local people. Happy hour is value for money. Management could do better job, they need to save this business and be more lively

Poorest service ever. After going there over 18 years the customer service is at the bottom. 7-11 will serve you faster.

Stuff drinks, service might take a minute. But their are tvs and two pool tables. Gotta bring your own fun though , and hydrate!

We were directed here by one of the bartenders at the Urge when we asked about a nearby pool place. Was not too far of a drive and we basically just walked in to play pool. Two tables right in front of the restrooms. Was nice hitting the balls around as I have not played for a while. Had a fun time and would not mind coming again. It is a dollar for a game so if you do not have change they also have a change machine. But keep in mind, there's only 2 pool tables and no jumping the balls off the table!

Rolling through Rancho Bernardo I found myself in the mood for a few drinks and some bar food. Enter Kelly's Pub! - Service was great and friendly - Food came out quick and hot - Nice portions - Drinks were perfect Prices? Cheap! My husband and I had 4 premium cocktails and two appetizers. Cost? $32.00. Great choice. Happy. I'll be back. Great prices.

Kelly's is the type of place you go to if you're trying to grab a drink and do not want to drive more than 10 minutes. It's a dive bar, but not as divey as some of the other bars in Rancho Bernardo. It can get pretty crowded on a Friday and Saturday night and they close at 2! You will almost always see someone that you know if you're from the area which can be a negative for some of us (haha). There seems to be an older crowd, though. There is almost oddly someone here who gets too drunk, and it's usually middle aged women. Interesting, but be prepared. Power to them though! There is one ladies' restroom and one men's restroom so sometimes that can be a problem if it's busy in there! The drinks seem to be fairly priced. I've never ordered the food here but whenever someone has something it smells good and the portions look large! There are two pool tables (a quarter machine for change as well), shuffleboard, darts, and a jukebox. Lots of places to sit and an outside patio.

Good drinks. Not horrible prices. Had a nice time with my coworkers sending away a pal.

Anthony is an amazing bartender! So welcoming and such a friendly and outgoing personality, even when it's busy he's very fast paced and always make sure he satisfies his customers! Thank you Anthony !

The reason I'm giving one star is due to the guy in bar who hesitated to put volume for the NBA game championship today when bucks were about to win, I requested for just last few minutes, he said he can't do it literally, got upset about that. complete racism! We friends enjoyed the beer and food, Brittany was awesome! Kelly's pub is good we will visit again but will talk to the management about him, his behavior. He is not even polite.

Anthony is the best bartender here at kelly's. He is very fast pace and even though he is under stress he is still very respectful. greatest bartender here

I have been here before but this time the bar was empty and the bar tender doesn't even acknowledge you when you come in but we waited 5 minutes and left l. The guy in the back asked where we were going and we said leaving nobody even said Hi

Worst service I have ever experienced at a bar. I've been there before to watch sports and every time the service was slow. Once we even saw a waitress have shots. Another time we waited for any acknowledgement for service and had to go to the bar only to be ignored by the owner. No more. Driving further to Conway's

Amazing service. We came in and sat down, not expecting anyone to come up, but the bartender came up and asked if we needed a drink or anything. He was super friendly and we felt super welcome! We were definitely impressed with the great service that was offered!

Great little pub, drinks good - didnt have any food- But they dont play music the only way music plays if the customers pay money in the jutebox- seems silly ! Music makes happy happy makes people buy more drinks- thoughT that was only flaw that i could see!

Came here for the first time to meet some friends I havent seen in years-Thur 9.24.20 approx: 7:30pm. The sort of young looking waitress workn this shift was extremely RUDE, UNWELCOMING and UNPROFESSIONAL. From myself being a business owner too in times like this especially, there is NO reason for other businesses to suffer poor customer service from employees like this. I hope the business owner catches this message and steps up.

Kelly's Pub is one of the huge reasons that I'm excited about moving back to San Diego! Robby is the best bartender and the bar friends I easily made there make every night there worth it... my favs are the garlic fries and chips & guac, fullest selection of alcohol out of any bar I've been to and I imagine billiards are coming back soon if not already... Great vibes overall!

Yikes. Locals only. Literally they won't serve you unless they know you. Smelly inside. mean blonde bartender. Yikes.

The only bar in the area with moxie. It's a little old school. Mostly older regulars in here. Veteran and good bartenders. Anything you could possible want to drink. Solid menu and decent daily specials. The only place I go for a drink in this area. The food is surprisingly good here. I usually come here on a bad day or a hang over for a lunch and drink. I even took a chance on a fish taco daily special and it blew my expectations away. Whoever is doing the cooking here is doing a great job. I like that it's darker in here and a lot of people come here to watch a game. I'll take it any day over the new internet cookie cutter gastro pubs or spanking new craft breweries in the area.

OK the only way this place must manage to survive is that the people in the surrounding neighborhoods do not own cars. Because if they did they would probably go somewhere else. I came here with a group with high hopes. We were told that the cooks here are training with a high end chef and the food quality is much improved. Well the appetizers were yummy. We had some great tasting mushrooms and the French fries were delicious. But other than that everything seemed to be a miss. My vodka soda was a little off. My hubby's margarita was pure mixer. And he had something called a California cheesesteak that he was excited to try but was ultimately disappointed. The blue cheese sliders were overcooked and one of my friends did enjoy the sandwich they ordered but I forgot what it was. It's a shame because the bar itself is pretty cool. They have a pool table and darts and a nice big outdoor patio. Even the service was weird. Not overly rude or anything but kind of intense. We definitely didn't feel welcome. And it took over an hour to get our food and the place was less than half full. Unacceptable. They have some tweaking to do. Maybe more training with that high end chef or a menu mix up or maybe some customer service classes. There is just some major things lacking.

Love this bar! Reasonably priced cocktails & decent food for a lunch break or h hour. My faves are the naked wings & fries. Sarah is friendly, awesome & provides fast service!

If I asked you to imagine a bar, this place is going to be pretty darn close to what you imagine. It really has all the classic features - but it is not a trendy hipster bar, so if that is what you are looking for, do everyone a favor and stay away. There are few places in the area you can get a drink, play pool and watch sports on TV. So, unless you are coming over to my place, you may as well go here. Good selection of beer and friendly staff. It is not a great restaurant, it servers bar food, exactly like you would have imagined. So, this is more of a place to hang out and have a few drinks and eat food that is probably not recommended by your Dr.

Always courteous and attentive staff, good food, cold beer and a good time. Never had a problem, never had a complaint. Highly recommended if you want to have a good time with friends

I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but feel obligated to update my last review so people spending their hard earned money know what to expect. A group of 5 of us came here to watch a college play off game on a week night. The place was packed but they had just 1 waitress. Seriously, 1 person and just 1 bartender. Needless to say it took forever to get drinks. Our food all arrived cold. At half time the owner finally arrived and started bussing tables but still no additional servers. The place, including us, all cleared out at half time to watch the game somewhere else.

Cool spot to grab a drink. Stopped by to grab a drink and got the $4 Shock Top special. Beer's not cold. Crowd's probably very representative of the area (I'd say leaning towards the older side). A bunch of TVs. A couple of pool tables. It's a good after work pit stop.
