For a restaurant with prices this steep, my expectations were set somewhere in the stratosphere. While the beautiful food and attentive servers were almost enough to get me there, the uninvited fly and the noise level brought me right back to Earth. The food was fine, but it was hard to fully appreciate the beautiful presentation with the fly joining your meal. Overall, it was a meal that was more about the show than the substance. The experience was ok until it wasn't. Woke up at 6 am with terrible stomach pain after dining here last night, which has unfortunately put a damper on the first day of my vacation. I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t enjoy during our dining experience at KSG — the food was simply good. The lobster deviled eggs were absolutely scrumptious, with generous pieces of lobster in every bite. I’ll admit, when my scallops arrived paired with a beet-red risotto, I cringed inwardly — red risotto isn’t exactly the most visually appealing dish to me. But one bite changed everything. The flavors easily erased my initial hesitation. The dish was seasoned perfectly, and the scallops were some of the most tender I’ve had in a long time. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta but mentioned he wished he had asked for jalapeños — it needed just a little pop of heat. I also snagged a bite of his crispy sponge cake (yes, crispy sponge cake!), and it was uniquely delicious. I would have happily eaten more, but caffeine tends to trigger my migraines, so I had to hold back. A special shoutout to Erin, our server, who was absolutely amazing. Her warmth and attentiveness made an already great meal even better.

Came here for my birthday to try the beef wellington for the first time, which unfortunately was the worst part of the meal. It was bland with no real flavor. Everything else made up for it. Bartenders were friendly and attentive.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ken Stewart’s Grille for a business dinner, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for an enjoyable evening. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Each dish we ordered was crafted with care and artistry, showcasing a delightful mix of flavors and ingredients. It was evident that the kitchen takes great pride in their menu, and every bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. Whether it was the perfectly cooked steak or the fresh seafood options, everything exceeded our expectations. Our server played a crucial role in making the evening memorable. Attentive and knowledgeable, they guided us through the menu with ease, offering insightful recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. Their passion for the food and drink was apparent, and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the dishes or the wine pairings. The overall ambiance of Ken Stewart’s Grille is both elegant and comfortable, making it ideal for a business dinner or a special occasion. The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere made for a truly memorable evening. I wholeheartedly recommend Ken Stewart’s Grille for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Akron. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu in the future!

Google
QUALITY over quantity, everything was great. However, I do wish their were more sauces for the Seafood Tower. I wish they had a Honey Mustard with Sesame Seed Oil sauce and a butter sauce, maybe a little Cayenne spicy sauce.

Google
What a great place. We went to a surprise birthday party for a dear friend here on Saturday. The staff was so spot on with service and anything requested. The food was delicious, served hot and fresh. This is a great place and Ken never misses ever!!

Google
I mean… WOW. From the moment we walked in, the charm started. The restaurant itself is gorgeous anyway but to be greeted with smiling faces and people that seemed excited we were there started the experience on the right foot. Then, our server, Kristin. I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She listens, remembers and did something I’ve never truly had done in many years of dining all over the world, she made the experience personalized and unique. She added touches throughout our meal that made it feel like a Michelin Star restaurant (which I highly think it should be.) She is what truly made our experience so special and phenomenal that I will always host business dinners or group meetings there. The best part, Ken Stewart’s Grille makes every patron feel like they’re the most important person in the room. In addition, the food is amazing as usual and everything is cooked perfectly. The truffle fries are something I dream of. I already cannot wait to go back! I could not recommend this Akron staple enough. I wish I could give Ken’s 100 stars

Google
Ken’s is always a 100/10! The staff are always very kinda and welcoming, and even remember us by name! The food is fantastic every single time. I always love and recommend a cut of steak, absolutely amazing. My fiancé usually gets the Salmon, also always amazing. A stunning example of fine dining.

Yelp
Amazing service, amazing atmosphere. The food was delightful. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Went here with my significant other for a celebration. We had a reservation beforehand and got seated quickly. Off the bat the ambiance was amazing. The lighting, decor, everything was great. Not to mention we had completely forgot we knew someone who worked there until they walked by us! Our server was very helpful. Came by often to make sure everything was all good, but gave us time to ourselves too. The significant other ended up really disliking a drink they got to the point they couldn't get past the first sip and our waitress took it off the bill for us! The rest of the food was amazing. It almost made me want to order a second plate to go! Usually I struggle finishing my food when I get an appetizer as well, but this time everything hit my tastebuds just right that I couldn't leave anything. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Loved the steak with peppercorn sauce. It was very rich in flavor. Service was great. Also had desert. The leopard print carpet was fun.

Yelp
This is a very typical looking steakhouse with dark paneling throughout and a lively bar. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. The problem I had was with the food. I am from New Orleans so maybe I just expect a bit more seasoning. But the consensus at the table was the best thing we had was the side of au gratin potatoes. My "grilled" pork chops were two FRIED pork chops with panco breading. I specifically asked if they were going to be GRILLED. Basically they were similar to what I get at diners. For nearly $50. The lemon butter sauce was basically a picatta that was also un remarkable. For $270 per couple this was just not worth it. Even at half the price I would have been disappointed. Just an average place.

Yelp
Well - I looked at the Yelp Reviews and the full parking lot and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately for me - it was pretty much a "no" experience. The atmosphere was nice, the waiter was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The meal was meh. The bread was very good. The salad was fine. Once we got the main course and side dish - things weren't to my liking. The restaurant - so they must be good at several (other?) things or it's just my southern preferences vs. a relatively bland and unexpected preparation of my main dish and side dish. Arguably, we southerners cook and eat differently. But, if you put creamed spinach on the menu - by all means - have some cream in it! My spinach had a nice crusty topping that had some Parmesan on it, but the spinach itself had very little cream (or if it was there - it was a thin, runny and tasteless cream. It was more like hot water spinach with a crusted topping. The illed scallops were hot with good flavor, but the accompanying flavors in the dish didn't do it for me. The risotto was good - but the other flavors didn't compliment the scallops in a way which worked for me. Perhaps it was just my preference - but the parking lot won't be full with the inclusion of my car next trip to Akron. Perhaps the specialty is steak and I should have purchased a filet. Even if I had - my favorite steak pairing of creamed spinach would have probably felt more disastrous to me paired with an excellent filet. It sounds so awful to say this - but you really can't beat the chain of Ruth's Chris. Consistent. Excellent. Outstanding in every way. Over and over again - no matter where I've dined or what my meal choice has been (steak, seafood, etc). This place wasn't for me - but the decor was nice and ambience was clean and comfortable and the waiter was a nice guy. That's why they earned a 3 from me.

Yelp
This remains a hidden favorite. The food is fantastic and the service is yet to disappoint. Honestly I take frequent travelers here that are blown wide by the food quality.

Yelp
Went here for our employee Christmas dinner and everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was top notch. Ken himself came out to speak to us and he is just fantastic! I had the potato crusted halibut over a creamed corn and it was cooked to perfection! Highly recommend! Although I did not have it, several people got the wedge salad and it looked phenomenal, you can sub it for your side salad for an up charge I will be doing this next time!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Kate was an amazing server! She was so so sweet! The food was SO yummy. It was my first time ever at Ken Stewart's, and i definitely will be coming back. The filet with wagyu butter was 10/10. Had a perfect crisp to it and was cooked perfectly. We also got the sacchetti pasta as a side... AMAZING. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent restaurant for an upscale dining experience! The service was amazing. Absolutely loved the lamb chops from Colorado. Delicious! Perfectly prepared! I also highly recommend the Whispering Angels rose wine. It went well with the entree I ordered. When you cone here to eat, be sure to inquire about the specials. My spouse ordered the sea bass and it was delicious too. Perfectly prepared! If you like raw oysters, this is a go to place for them. Table side Caesar is also a must. You need to come here and experience what this restaurant has to offer. It's worth it!

Yelp
We went on one of their 35th anniversary nights where they were offering their chicken breast in phyllo ! Wow!! Amazing!!! And the service was fantastic!!

Yelp
Food wasn't that great and very expensive. Very dark inside and they said they had a dress code so we dressed up but people came in shorts and ball caps.
google avatar

Diane K.

Yelp
I went again recently and it was a little better. At least people feel slightly obligated to dress to a higher standard here. It has a reputation. It may be stodgy but at least it's respectable. THE FOOD: Yes, I did fail to mention in my first review anything about the food. Well, the food is good classic American steakhouse food. I don't really know how to review it because it's not my style, but I'll eat it.

Yelp
Just moved back to my hometown of Akron and this is the place my (usually frugal) parents would occasionally go for a special dinner when I was in my teens. Now I get to as well. The service is always impeccable but unfussy, and the food is just classic + delicious. The burger is a worthy splurge, the cocktails perfect, and the crème brûlée the industry standard. Thank you!

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere. The food was very delicious and we had great service. Everyone was so nice and polite. Definitely recommend

Yelp
There is something seriously old school about this location vs the other KS ones. I'm not from Akron, though I've lived here a while now. It's a home grown classic restaurant that hasn't rested on its laurels. Amazing experience - sit in the room with the bar. Watch the people, sip on a nice glass of wine, listen to the conversations at the bar below you. It's timeless. Nowhere I'd rather be having a seasonal lunch between the holidays.

Yelp
I am always happy with the service and meal selection. However, forcing people to valet park is inconsiderate. By law, it is not mandatory and should not be forced on customers. The option of self-parking should ALWAYS be offered.

Joseph V.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Generous portions got the price. Excellent service, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.

Yelp
Ken Stewart's is my Canton/Akron go do when I need a great meal without risk of disappointment. So many great options both for apps and main dish. And must get the French Onion Soup and Table side Caesar I eat out a lot and this is my fave !
google avatar

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. This is the original one in Akron. The service is always great. The food is absolutely amazing. It is a laid-back atmosphere, especially in the bar area. I highly recommend this to anybody! i've been coming here since the early 2000s and it has never disappointed

Yelp
The best steakhouse in Cleveland/Akron area! Food is always delicious with so many daily specials that I almost never order off the printed menu. The ambiance is nice for a more upscale restaurant. I love the patio that is even nice during the colder months with the outdoor heaters. Waiters always provide top notch service. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Yelp
The ribeye steak dinner was delicious & cooked to perfection. Ordered medium rare, it arrived beautifully charred on the outside & gorgeous pink inside. It was SO juicy that we made a special request for our lovely server to tell the chef thank you. Appetizer: Japanes shrimp- fantastic! Dessert-crème brûlée- again, delicious, too was glass crisp w/ the dessert & fresh fruits being perfect texture. There is really no other restaurant in the area that can compare w/Kens. The personalized experience you get- usu a hello by Ken or Kevin.... Ken Stewart's js hands down the place!!! Thank you, Ken, chefs & everyone on ataff!

Yelp
This place is fancy! Dark and intimate. Very nice environment for a classy dinner or date. Special occasion dinner bc you will spend some money at this place. The menu has multiple options from steak, seafood, salads. Everything was as expected. The wagyu pigs in a blanket were fine, neither amazing, and same with truffle fries which were both apps. High quality ingredients. I got a surf and turf which consisted of bacon wrapped steak, lamb chop, and spicy shrimp. It was pretty costly but it was good. The lamb was the best part. My significant other got a 16oz NY strip steak and he enjoyed it. All meats cooked perfectly. My favorite part was the homemade pecan ice cream. It was so good!! The waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. There's plenty of parking. The have valet as well. The place was clean and warm on the inside on this cold evening. Cost: $$$$$$$$

Yelp
Met up with a bunch of people at Ken Stewart's before a show at Blossom for a late lunch / early dinner. I was hoping for the dinner menu but upon arrival they have a lunch menu that is pretty different. I was definitely happy that they use giuseppe carpano formula antica vermouth for their manhattans! I had several and they were very good. We shared an order of the calamari and it was super tasty. It included the heads and the rounds with some finely diced pickled peppers and an aioli. For my main course I had the reuben and fries. It was plenty big and tasty with the bread nicely grilled. I ate 1/2 and finished the other after the show :-). Great spot, if I'm ever in the area again I'd love to try dinner here.

Matt H.

Yelp
Ken Stewart's never lets you down. From exceptional service to outstanding food it is no surprise that this ranks consistently as one of the top restaurants in the area. If you like a great cocktail be sure to see Larry at the bar. He crafts great drinks with an amazing attitude and level of service and always greets returning guests by name. If you have never been, it is worth every penny!

Sharon B.

Yelp
20 years still the best place to eat in Akron! Love the white French dressing. Always great food and service at Ken Stewart's!

Yelp
If you are looking for a visual blast from the past place to dine, this is it. Picture it, Akron, Ohio 1989...lol I was shocked at how dated this restaurant looks inside. It's looks so modern from the street, but it's a Time Machine when you enter. It's still a really nice place but I thought it would look more upscale given the dress code posted at the door. The lights were dimmed and the music was a bit loud, but the patrons didn't seem to mind. The service I received was really good. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave good recommendations. The food was giving elevated Bonefish Grille, but double the price in my opinion. The food was good and seasoned better than expected but $16 for 2 eggs (4 deviled eggs) is wildly insane. The house salad is tasty but the dressing could use a little help. The lamb chops were cooked a little longer than requested but they were still good nonetheless. The cocktail wasn't very tasty, but it packed a punch. Overall, I had a good dining experience, but I probably won't return. I'm glad I went because I always wanted to dine there and I can check it off my list.

Yelp
Very classy with table cloth kind of place. I sat in the lounge in pretty close quarters to the neighboring table. I could hear their conversation the entire time. They have a few good gluten free options to choose from. I ordered the scallops with butternut squash purée and the sautéed cauliflower. The scallops were good but could have used a little more seasoning. I really enjoyed the cauliflower. It was crisped on the edges but once again could have been seasoned more. The waitress was very nice and accommodating to my needs. I had to wait a bit for service but I didn't mind today as I was trying to be leisurely. I sipped on a glass of Moët which was fantastic. For dessert I had The vegan gluten free brownie with coconut Sorbet which tastes just like a mounds bar. I would go back but not out of my way to get there. I'm not from the area though.

Yelp
Excellent food and service was fabulous. We loved the Ceasar salad and steak delicious.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! I had calamari which was delicious, scallops with rock shrimp risotto, and for dessert the waitress went all out and put a sparkler on my Crème brûlée. This was the best birthday dinner ever!!

Yelp
I like the place and ambiance. To me the food was unseasoned. I never add salt no seasoning at all for the price. I was not impressed.

Yelp
Great service and food!! Yes it's pricy but you get what you pay for. The quality of the food is outstanding!

Yelp
Excellent service and drinks. Our waitress Christine was amazing and made the night extra special. She is a gem and they are very lucky to have her. The food choices were amazing as well and they have a vegan and vegetarian option.

Yelp
Everything here was amazing, from the service to the food. The pesto burrata pasta and the strawberry shortcake dessert was so good

Yelp
So sad what happens when the heart and soul of a business shows signs of fading. Kens was THE restaurant to beat years ago. I have had four not so great experiences this past year. I allowed myself to return three more times after the first bad experience to make sure it was not an off night. The food was not even McStewart worthy -at least at the golden arch's the food is consistent. Snappy sassy servers acting as if it was a pain to wait on me. Not to mention slow slow slow with possibly 10 other tables occupied. The food was horrendous-not even close to the value. One can only ride the wave for so long before people lose patience. Spent my last $100 for a $10 lunch at Kens. I'm sad -really sad.

Yelp
The infrastructure and the price tag for this place is definitely aiming for fine dining. However, their menu and food are far from fine dining. A few findings noted: 1. They serve siracha and balsamic glaze with the lobster salad over boiled egg white. The pairing sauce is way too strong and overpowering the mildly sweet lobster meat. Doesn't make sense. 2. The bread and butter. We were asked to pick bread from a few different types from a basket in our waitress' hand which is a bit bazaar. The highlight was the grocery store bought butter blocks wrapped in golden foils. Yup, the same kind you'll get from panera. Also these butter blocks are hard as rock as they were just got pulled out of refrigerator. You are telling me for a place charging 45 dollars for an entrée, they just don't bother to make their own compound butter??? 3. Entrée. Average over 40 dollars per plate. Very over portioned. The plating method is simply piling. There is no fineness in their plating. My seafood stir fry was under seasoned. The side rice was under cooked. 4. Dessert. I had the ice cream over brandy'ed cherries. They served about 20 to 30 of those cherries under the ice cream. The wine in cherries is not cooked off at all. Just one single bite of the cheery is just so strong. This is no fun eating. Also, the cherries were sitting in a pool of liquid which make them soggy and has an slight unpleasant texture. 5. Environment: I can tell the owner spent lots of money make this place look luxurious. However, parking lot smells like sewer water and the white hanging ceiling is covered in a mixture of black tar and dust. 6. Menu: menu isn't long, only one page like it should. Then our waitress read us an entire menu of the "specials of the day", so many of them, in each course! Can the kitchen folks perform well over such a large menu? Red flag. This place doesn't spell fine dining for me. The experience is quite bazaar. I have to guess the management doesn't have their vision aligned with their owner. Whoever hired for creating the menu including the extrem long "daily special" doesn't know cooking.

Yelp
Um sorry, not so good this time. First, some quick background: Came here many times with my parents, and as an adult it is our go-to place for special occasions. I was there for lunch today with four other people. I ordered the Ahi tuna salad. What a major disappointment for $28! The bowl was significantly smaller than the Cobb salad to my left, and the little pieces of seared tuna reminded me of stringy brisket or corn beef - and such a small quantity for $28. Although the server was top notch, we never got our reorder of bread either. Very disappointing for a place that I thought I was comfortable at and had high expectations.

Holly W.

Yelp
Great!!! But $$$ Great service & great atmosphere. Like eating in the bar. A great place for special occasions!

Yelp
Top notch steakhouse - one of the best restaurants I've been to in Ohio. Excellent service and perfectly done steaks and chops. Really tasty!

Yelp
We came here on a Monday night for our anniversary dinner. We had reservations and were shown directly to our table. We were seated in a booth, which was nicely secluded from other guests, however thought the restaurant was a little over lit, we'd prefer the lights dimmed a bit. Our server was very friendly and promptly greeted us with waters and the cocktail list. The list was pretty extensive, good variety of bourbon, cocktails and wines by the bottle and glass. We settled on a bottle of amarone, which was fairly priced. Our waiter went over the specials, which were pretty overwhelming. There were 3 appetizer specials, 2 salad specials and 6 different entree specials. My wife pointed out, these should be printed, by the time he was done listing the specials, we couldn't remember which protein came with which side and felt bad making him repeat. We started with the steak tartare which was excellent. The beef was seasoned well and was paired perfectly with crostini and rich egg yolk. We both had the house salads, which came with candied pecans, blue cheese, cranberries and a balsamic vinaigrette. Great way to start. My wife had the short rib special, served over polenta. She loved it and came home with leftovers as the portion was huge. I had the pesto crusted sea bass special served over a tomato base. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, the fishes flaked off and was very tender. I'd go back for this. My wife noted it was our anniversary on our reservation and was a little disappointed the server didn't even acknowledge it. Overall, the setbacks were minor and the server was very nice and attentive, we had a great meal and will surely be back.

James C.

Yelp
I made reservations for me and my wife for Valentines Day and this was the first time at Ken Stewart's. Without me requesting they sat us in the round-wine cellar room that is very private and romantic. The room is round, glass cased so you feel the ambiance of the restaurant, while having privacy. The food was excellent with large portions and the service was excellent as well. I will definately be a regular customer for special date nites.

Jim F.

Yelp
Loved the old school vibe. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The only negative was our waitress who really seemed to have her mind elsewhere. She dropped all apps at once then immediately started to prepare our $30 table side Caesar salad. No time to really enjoy the food or her preparation of a classic. Once she finished she said, I'll keep your salad in the fridge till you finish the apps". My advise, Mr Stewart if your going to advertise gourmet dinning you need to manage gourmet staff:) We will give them another try next trip to Akron but will make sure there is no rush job.
google avatar

Karen R.

Yelp
The ambiance and service was spectacular. We were seated at a nice cozy booth. The menu along with the specials is extensive, a meal option for anyone. We started off with the Brie and it was really good. We were brought a bread basket but it wasn't worth indulging because it was a bit dry. We ordered off the special menu both getting the same thing. We both got the Trio special. Lamb, grilled shrimp and bacon wrapped filet. Presentation was spectacular however, the shrimp was tough and lamb was dry and a bit overdone. I think next time we'll stick to the main menu. Overall it's a nice place but be prepared to spend some dough

Yelp
So, i really do enjoy the nicer restaurant's.That being said I have been here twice, if I'm paying will be the last, I just can't justify 200.00 for an underwhelming experience. We had French Onion Soup First, it was no better than the package soup from a grocery store.(2) The salads were really good( probably the best part) and the bread.(3) The steak( 16oz New York strip) soooo underwhelming, it was cooked at medium rare, and that was the best part ,tough, absolutely no flavor at all not even salt or pepper, my wife loved the creme brûlée...like I said, I like to give places a chance( hence my second visit) there are just too many nice options with a 40 minute drive...didn't even take pictures like I normally do.

Yelp
This place is a local favorite from what I understand and known for its bread pudding! We had to try! Late brunch and had early dinner reservations so had a light meal. The kale salad is fresh and definitely ask for the curry sauce on the side. So delicious !!!! Veggie burger is huge and comes with the most delicious fries, crispy and hot! Just make sure you ask for it extra well done. Also had the chicken quesadilla and it is huge! The tortilla seemed to be home made, crispy and just enough filling. A little greasy, but worth the calories. Highly recommend the salad and don't forget to ask for a side of curry dressing!

Gary P.

Yelp
Has anyone told those making the decisions at Ken's restaurants we are in the middle of inflation. So I think , like 77% of the population that were polled, charging your customers credit card fees is not good business, and raising your credit card fees to 3% is even more egregious. I just read a Beacon Journal article that I think summed it up best: "These businesses clearly have no compassion for what people are going through with inflation, attacking their disposable income at every turn. Apparently, they also have no understanding of how fragile their relationship is with their customers." We already know we are over paying for our meal and drinks and accept that because it's part of the "fine" dining experience, so adding this fee is just insulting. Heads up guys, you are going to be loosing customers quickly. You may want to rethink those CC fees!!!

Yelp
I travel all around the US and this is one of my favorite restaurants. Best service in the country and the food is always spot on!! Highly recommend it!!!

Dirk J.

Yelp
The ambiance and menu is very dated. The clientele was also mostly elderly people. The food was okay, but not worth the prices they charge. We got the burger and a filet mignon. Both were good, but they don't give you any sides with a steak and no bread for the table.

Kellie C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Amazing food!! I got the turkey burger with fries(chips). The turkey burger was the best most flavorful turkey burger I have ever eaten. The fries where more like chips. They where warm and fresh. I got my burger without avocado or a bun and with the aoli on the side. It was the perfect amount of food. Soo soo soo delicious, fresh, and flavorful. My bf got the chicken quesadilla and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't tell you much more about it because I was too busy shoveling my food into my mouth. We sat at the bar. Our bartender Michelle was fantastic at her job. She is very personable and efficient. Michelle was constantly moving. she made sure all of her patrons where satisfied and happy. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is great. The atmosphere is fantastic. The service was wonderful. What else do you need. Run don't walk to Ken's

Kassie B.

Yelp
I have frequent at this location quite a bit until my last visit where I had to go tell the manager that there was feces and urine all over the toilet lid. The bathroom is dark so I almost did not see it. I used to live this upscale restaurant for their walleye until may last three experiences, one where a server only came to the table after dropping our food off to give us checks (both of our orders were wrong but we had to deal. Next the manager ruched my daughter and I at 8:30 on because there "were no more reservations so they will be closing the kitchen soon", after we called ahead at 8 to make sure and we're told they would not be closing for "hours" and then the toilet seat was the last. I see this and it makes sense.
