I bought the Elisa Gold Pendant Necklace for $96 and it broke under normal use. When I asked about repairs, I was told Kendra Scott doesn’t repair “fashion jewelry,” even though their site says they offer out-of-warranty repairs for a fee. This “fine jewelry only” rule isn’t clearly explained until after you already bought the item and it breaks. Their customer service offered me a 15% discount on a new item, which doesn’t even apply to most of the store. If your jewelry breaks after 30 days, they basically just say “too bad.” For nearly $100, I expected better quality and actual support. Won’t be shopping here again.

I went to Kendra Scott on Lamar to buy a necklace and somehow lost my earring that I was matching the necklace to it. Destiny and Erica were so professional. They contacted security to try to find the earring in and around the store and in the meantime they sold me a new pair of earrings for half price. What wonderful, caring ladies and this store is the best in regard to customer service. Kudos to a great organization who truly care about customers.

She went above and beyond, and this was the best experience at a Kendra Scott that I've had in a while. They also had a really big inventory and such a clean and organized store!

I visited this Kendra Scott location after the first location I visited did not have the Color Bar ring combo I was looking for. They held the stone and ring that I was wanting, remembered my name from when the first store called, and were so kind throughout my visit. Thank you, girls !!

Hello! We stopped in tonight at the N Lamar location, knowing exactly the ring we wanted. When we came in the store, we felt immediately judged. Sorry we did not stop by, after shopping at the Lambo dealership down the street. When we asked for the ColorBar garnet, the January birthstone, our salesperson, Destiny, presented us with a light pink stone. When we told her that it was not a garnet, she proceeded to tell us that the stone was what she had for the January birth month. It looked like a stone for October. Upon asking for red/garnet/ruby color stone i finally found one. For being the flagship factory store, we were surprised at the lack of variety (and willingness to help the customer). We received the ring and was shuffled out of the store in an incredible rate of speed. The customer service was deplorable. We felt like we were treated like peasants. We are loyal Kendra Scott fans, but we will NEVER visit this location, again. We were treated with no respect, and the color of the stone offered to us was 100% incorrect. Sorry, Kendra Scott store @ N Lamar. You need to treat your customers better. We won't be back.

Wonderful experience, as usual! Friendly staff, they know how to help you pick a beautiful piece! With it being close to Christmas, there were a lot of lost looking men trying to find something. The staff were great about asking the right questions! I love their sale section, I always make a beeline to it! I prefer this location over the domain. I just want to say how sweet and patient every young lady was with me. I didn’t know what to get. I searched and searched and was very indecisive. I finally decided on something and then had to alter my decision. If it bothered them I never knew. Everyone in there I encountered was patient and helpful as I weaved through my decision making. I finally did get something, that my wife loves, btw. My wife has a large KS collection as it is so it was hard to find something she didn’t already have for game day. Their engraving options made the perfect choice. Thank you to all the professional, polite, patient young ladies who helped me make this gift as special as it could be.

This is my favorite Kendra Scott store (it also has the corporate office here). The parking is so easy with the accompanying garage! The girls there are always very pleasant to interact with and the jewelry is always well stocked in this store. My favorite Kendras are the Danielles and their bracelets. The jewelry is somewhat pricey for the quality, hence the 4 stars. These are my treats for meeting my personal goals! Tip: Come during your birthday month with an ID to get half-off one piece of jewelry!

Bought a $96 necklace (Elisa Gold Pendant, White Opal) and it broke doing a plank -- not even a rough impact, just regular wear. I contacted Kendra Scott about a repair and was told they don't repair "fashion jewelry," even though their site says they do out-of-warranty repairs for a fee. That policy apparently only applies to their "fine" jewelry, but that distinction isn't made clear anywhere during purchase. Instead of helping, they offered a 15% discount code that barely applies to anything in their store. So basically: if your necklace breaks after 30 days, you're out of luck. Not worth the price if the brand refuses to back it up.

I have owned many Kendra Scott pieces and have been happy overall. Most were gifted, however, my recent purchase was a present to myself using my birthday discount. This is the worst piece I've had, and unfortunately, the sale is final, nor can I exchange it. The new line called Grayson Herringbone Gold Multi Strand Necklace twists onto itself ALL day and is very unflattering. I just picked this up last weekend and have only worn it a few times. It twists every time and already has a kink in the chain. It's a beautiful design just poorly executed. I understand that "all sales are final" but this should not include defective jewelry. Customer service claimed there have been no complaints, but I read a complaint about the same issue on their site. I also added my review on their site. Does the design team wear these throughout the day for testing? I was excited about this birthday gift to myself but am now sad to be stuck with it. (The 1 star is strictly on this necklace and not the staff at this location. I ordered online for pickup and had very little employee interaction.)

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a color bar party. Kaiya and Kaitlyn was our stylist for the day. They were so helpful in choosing our one of a kind jewelry pieces where we got to select our colored stones. Color bar options are also available online but being in store was such a cool experience to see it put together right in front of you. This made it more customizable because the same stone does have different variations, and the color could appear different. Compared to the Domain and the flagship location on SoCo, this location does not have as much foot traffic. We enjoyed getting the stylists' undivided attention throughout our visit.

I had an event for a few women at the color bar. For 1.5 hours we ooo and aaahed over the various colored stones. You pick your metal color, jewelry type and then you can place your stone. Some stones cost additional. Everyone who purchased something got 15% off their purchase. The staff were so patient w us. Madison Mallory and Erica. We got cupcakes and rose and all left with a beautiful affordable Kendra Scott piece

I don't live in Austin. Great jewelry. Excellent customer service. I get friends and family little gifts here all of the time and love this location.

I went to this location (north lamar) after a horrible experience on the south 1st location. I had bought a Scott bros gold chain necklace and pendant for $250. I decided to get it engraved complimentarily too with the initials RS. When we i told them I wanted it engraved they told me they needed to reboot their engraving machine because it was acting up. We left and came back when the necklace was ready. When we saw the necklace we noticed immediately that the S in the pendant was difficult to see. it almost looked faded. we talked to one of the store managers and she suggested going to the south Lamar Kendra location because their machine was acting up and she did not trust the machine to engrave the pendant properly. She said she wanted to be fully transparent. When we left the store, i pulled back out the necklace and notcied that the pendnat was scratched. I went back in the store and they told me all They could do was offer me A 15% discount on another $80 dollar pendant. As someone who as been shopping at Kendra scott since I was a teenager, I was set on never purchasing from them again. I was disappointed that They expected me to purchase another pendant when I already spent over $200. they even said that the gold this "fine jewelry" was made from scratched easily. When I came to this north Lamar location, I spoke to the store manager, Madison. after I explained my whole experience on south Congress, she went straight to the back and pulled 2 new necklaces out and asked which one I wanted to re-engrave. She engraved a brand new necklace and it looks absolutely perfect now. she was so kind and apologetic. She completely changed our experience of Kendra Scott. If it weren't for her and that store, I would never have shopped at kendra Scott again.

My husband got me a Kendra Scott necklace for Christmas online, I wanted a second necklace to pair with it. We went into the Kendra Scott store at the domain in austin texas. ( I have blue hair, my husband and I are covered in tattoos and piercings) We were blatantly ignored by the blonde standing at the table but the white couple that walked in behind us was greeted. When I began looking at a necklace she called someone over the walkie and I began being followed by 3 separate employees for 15 minutes straight. Every single step I took, an employee would follow me to the table, to the mirror, to the clearance section next to front counter.... I found a necklace I wanted, my husband didn't want me to not get what I wanted due to a bad experience. I picked up the necklace and was asked where I was going with it? I said a mirror. Tried it on, decided I wanted it and walked to the front counter. The employee did NOT one single word to me. I said, hi how are you today? Again, employee did not greet me back, nothing. I paid $106, not a thank you or have a nice day. The experience did not sit well with me, on the 4th, I decided to return it at a different location Kendra Scott ( Lamar blvd In atx texas location) two employees were in there and two white women were looking around, being spoken too. I, in black leggings and a beanie, colored hair was not addressed. 20 minutes I stood at the front counter being ignored by both employees as they chose to help other people. African American employee walked up, no greeting or anything. I said hi I'm here to return this. Keep in mind, necklace has tag on it, in the tan bag, Kendra Scott yellow bag and a receipt from the 1st. She asked if it was a gift, I said yes ( as in a gift to myself) she said you can exchange it. I said I will not. She did not look at receipt or ANYTHING. I said I am done with your company, I want my money back. She walked away, left me for ten minutes and called the other employee, again did not look at my receipt or anything. One said well do you even have the card this was associated it, I said yes. Well credit or debit. I said credit. That was it. Treated me like dog shit. But made sure to tell the other two women to have a nice day. It disturbs me that people that look like me get treated like trash. While every customer you have that is white and looks like they are made of money get waited on hand and foot. Your company is a joke and a complete disappointment.

5 stars for the fact that they had sparkling waters and snacks in the front over Memorial Day! What a great way to distract the BF as I got some shopping done! The store is located near their big corporate building on the ground floor. There is ample parking in the back and it's a fun place to find all your favorite staple pieces.

I called this location to make a purchase over the phone because they were sold out online. Even though it was super busy in their store and the weekend of their Black Friday sales, they were able to assist me promptly. The girls were friendly and attentive to my shipping and billing info to make sure everything was correct. Shipping was fast and they even wrote a little note! Such a small gesture, but definitely made my experience more personal! And their packaging is so cute. I usually visit this location or the Flagship store, and I have always had positive experiences. The quality of this jewelry is amazing for the price and keeping my jewelry in the pouches that come with every piece really helps protect it from turning green. KS will always be my favorite!

Kendra Scott declined to take back an item purchased just 24 hours before, hadn't been opened, and had no signs of wear. The store declined to help me. Their manager never got back to me. Headquarters also declined to help me. Their policy on this item surprised me. Why pay top dollar for cheap baubles and poor customer service?

My husband bought me a Kendra Scott necklace for our anniversary and after only 4 months it turned GREEN! I tried contacting customer service and they didn't stand by their product. They simply told me that their necklaces are gold plated and sometimes they will wear with chlorine, sunscreen, chemicals, etc. That is interesting because I never exposed my necklace to any of that. Now, I have a $130 GREEN necklace that is supposed to be gold. I'm very disappointed with the quality as well as their customer service. I cannot stand behind a company that doesn't stand behind their product.

I had a fantastic experience today! It wasn't busy and for most of my visit it was just my group shopping. The sales people were very attentive and took care of us very well! Blake helped me pick my stone for my necklace and earrings and was great conversation! I would definitely come back to this store again.

This has ALWAYS been my go to location. I work right next to domain but will make the drive there because they have always been friendlier and great experience. Well my 9 year old son wanted to get me some earrings with his birthday discount. My teenage daughters idea they went together to get it done without me. My daughter said they didn't have the earring I wanted in stock and the girl told her to have another girl at the store call another location. My daughter said they stood waiting and no one would help them call another location or offer to order them...nothing so they just left. Very disappointed. You see kids trying to do something without involving their parents I'm surprised they weren't more helpful. Sent them over to Soco location. We will see how that goes. North Lamar is off my list Follow up- went to soco my daughter said so helpful - skip lamar head to soco

I recently received a couple pieces of Kendra Scott jewelry for my birthday. I highly recommend using the color bar, you really can't go wrong with allowing someone to create a unique piece for you! However, less than 3 weeks after receiving one of the necklaces...it broke while I was wearing it! Clearly, it was very disappointing and unexpected. I had some serious doubts about the jewelry. First of all, their jewelry is not sterling silver or real gold. It is all just really cute costume jewelry. When my necklace broke I immediately called the store closest to me and asked what they could do. The employee said to bring it in and they would fix or replace it. I arrived and showed them my broken necklace and they immediately gave me a new one. If this necklace wasn't a gift, I probably would have asked for my money back or exchanged it for another necklace, as other pieces they sell seem a bit more sturdy. I am happy with the customer service, but I am pretty alarmed by the fact that a piece broke so soon and without any reason. While I was there I used my 50% off one item (birthday month coupon) and bought the "Sophia" earrings in faux silver. I think that earrings seem to be unlikely to break so I am stoked about the new earrings and that I got them for a good price. I would hesitate to recommend anyone buy the "Elisa pendant," which is their signature piece. See picture of my sad broken necklace. I'm still a fan, I just think their costume jewelry (which is all made in China, btw) should be cheaper since it's all faux materials.

My first time buying something from Kendra Scott. It was a beautiful necklace, a gift for a friend. We were told my card was denied and they ran my card again. It was approved. I looked on my bank statement to see a charge of 48.00 on 12/29. Then on 1/2 there was another charge for 48.00. We went into the store the next day showed them what happen. Pretty sad my first experience will be my last. We've still haven't been refunded the money on the second charge.

My wife loves Kendra Scott. I had bought a few items at the south Congress location and had an issue. (Long story, not the stores fault at all) I work on Lamar and am closer to KS on Lamar.. I called and talked to Taylor, explained what was up and she was able to take care of me. She really didn't have to but went out of her way to make me a very happy customer. I will be back for sure. I love Kendra Scott ! I love their jewelries . The only disappointment are their staff on Lamar location. The first time we visited the place, nobody seems to care abt us, they know we were there but just ignored our presence. The store is not even crowded and busy . It happened again on our second visit and just recently it happened again. My partner was standing at the store for a long time but nobody acknowledge her presence. I think those girls need to be thought that they need to welcome any person who visits their store . I highly eecommended going to KS at the Domain, that store is always packed and crowded but all the employees have their smile on their faces and very accomodating .

Check you curb side order before you leave. I ordered a gift for my daughter to pick up. When she opened it, after leaving this location and told me what it was, I was so disappointed! Now she has the inconvenience of going back to get the correct item and the sales person didn't even want to offer anything for the error. BOO!

I love this Kendra! It's the best one in Austin in my opinion. It's always a great experience. The staff really carry out the Kendra spirit and make sure every customer is happy. This is by far my favorite location! It's huge and super nice! There is a ton of room here. There is a parking garage in the back and I believe they are moving the corporate office above this location. Natasha is super helpful and sure friendly! She took the time to help me see what was new and what would look good. She was super helpful with the color bar and didn't rush me on picking my stone out. I am in love with this location and with the customer service here!

They need to hire more sales people than chatter boxes. One girl was on her A game running around asking helping customers. While the girls at the color bar or registers just stood there laughing and chattering. 3 ppl in the store needed help and they just moved like it was a burden. Props to the one girl actually walking around assisting customers.

This should be the flagship store. Parking is plentiful, and the staff are uncompromising in their desire to help. After a few questions, like whether my girlfriend wore gold or silver jewelry, Kaylen selected the perfect necklace for me. I have shopped at other jewelry stores and have found none to be as helpful as the Kendra Scott at Lamar Central. Not only do they manufacture a superior product, Kendra Scott manufactures a superb customer experience.'

I love the jewelry here so much! It's not too expensive but still provides great quality. The only annoying thing is the parking is kind of difficult but that's not really their fault. Everyone there is really nice and willing to help. Also don't forget that in your birthday month you can get a 50% discount on one full price item which is pretty cool. I always love shopping here.

The pieces look very nice and stylish when new. But this is cheap plated jewelry that turns your skin green. Not even sterling silver is used. Disposable pieces to wear once or twice. Way overpriced! This location is convenient and I always feel pampered here. As a leader for various Austin nonprofit organizations, I have participated in several "Kendra Gives Back" nights where they donate a portion of sales between certain hours to a selected nonprofit. Staff is professional and courteous both coordinating the event leading up to the evening and also the night of. Kendra Scott does amazing things in the local Austin community and her jewelry is always beautiful.

I meant to write this the last time I went to Kendra Scott to buy something for one of my girls. There is a young lady named Brittany who really went above and beyond a few weeks ago when I was running home late from work on a Friday. I was able to order and pay for a necklace on the phone and then when I was running so late, I didn't even have time to park, she came out on the street corner to hand it off to me in my car. Incredible customer service!! Again, today when we were there to buy something for Mother's Day, although Brittany didn't help us this time, it was as always incredible service. For dads , husbands or anyone else looking for a gift, there couldn't be a better store.

Ever since I first saw the classic ivory earrings. I knew I had to get them. I was lucky enough that my boyfriend got me my first pair of dream earrings! (That's one of the reasons he's the best) Kendra Scott not only has darling one of a kind jewelry, the store has the most amazing staff. Every experience has always been fulfilled with the amazing customer service. I cannot wait to come here or to any other Kendra Scott location soon. Especially when my birthday month arrives! I am incredibly pleased with my recent visit to Kendra Scott at Lamar, the store looked beautiful, and every salesperson I interacted with was helpful and friendly. A few months ago I bought a bracelet, and was devastated when one of the links broke last weekend. I took it into the store to see if they could possibly repair it and the sales associate Colin surpassed my expectations when he offered to order me a replacement bracelet for no charge! The shipping was quick (2 days) and now I have a brand new bracelet great customer service guys & gals!

Kendra Scott on Lamar is literally glowing! The new storefront is really beautiful and is a great addition to what is soon to be a bustling new retail/office space. Plenty of shopping assistants if you need help selecting something, and close free parking in the building is a win! I feel like the selection was lacking a little originality when I visited, but I know people love their designs and they are always coming out with something new.

I recently purchased some pieces for myself, and one for a gift, and had a good experience. The sales representatives were very friendly and helpful - they gave me two waters (I was there for a few hours), and were kind enough to offer to keep my food behind the counter while I shopped (I had just had brunch and had leftovers). The only concern I had, and the reason this review isn't 5 stars, is that not one single person told me that a return would be in gift card form only. The birthday gift I purchased ended up not being what my friend wanted, so I went to return it and purchase something else (at a different store), only to find out they don't process the refund back to my credit card, they just give me a gift card that can only be used at Kendra Scott. I'm very happy with the pieces I bought myself, but absolutely would not have bought my friend's gift there if someone had been kind enough to tell me the policy in advance - I would have waited and brought her with me so she could get something she really wanted. I understand the policy and respect it, but it is out of the norm for most stores, and would expect that someone would have the courtesy to tell me, and was extremely disappointed that they did not. I also did not experience the best service upon returning my jewelry - the person I worked with didn't seem concerned that I had frustrations, she just wanted to get the return processed as quickly as possible and get me out of the store. Overall, a good experience, just beware of their return policy.

I work right down the street from the Kendra Scott show room on lamar so I get to pop in see all the latest. I was recently in the store and got to see the beautiful new collection. The trays were gorgeous and the new collection had plenty of individuality and modern flare. I purchased two gift certificates as gifts for my staff and they were thrilled!

Came here yesterday evening for a last min earring purchase to wear to a dinner gathering. Purchased the gold sparkly stone drop earrings. When I brought the earrings to the counter the woman was nice enough to get a new pair that one ones touched in the back. Great service.

Having expected to walk out of the store with a purchase and enjoyable experience, I find that I have neither one of those things. The store was not crowded, so I should have been greeted at the very least. Customers have to make an effort to go to this store, especially since it's the only retail in this location, so it seems as though they would be rewarded with friendly customer service.

My boyfriend bought a bracelet for me about a year ago. It was a really nice looking piece and I enjoyed wearing it - Unfortunately, within about 6 months the plating started to rub off and my wrist turned green. I have not dug into the Kendra Scott quality standards but I have pieces that cost far less that this did not happen with. Disappointing.

They were busy but the person who helped us was very friendly. HOWEVER, she forgot to ask about validating parking and I forgot too. It is $21 to get out of that garage (no joke for less than 20 mins) and they won't let you back up and go back to get validated. Please ask your customers about parking, this is a HUGE issue. $21 after I just spend $100?

LOVE Kendra Scott, and normally their staff is extremely attentive and friendly but I was rather unimpressed with this location to be honest. I came in the other day, was one of two people in the store and no one helped me until I was ready to check out. Just didn't get the same vibe I do from other stores, I prefer the domain location!

Store is beautiful and most of the employees are Fantastic. However, this rating is due to one of the rudest employees I have ever encountered- Brianna. She was less than helpful, super slow as far as checking out and overall rude. Not to mention less than enthusiastic. Disappointing, as usually you look forward to the helpful employees at KS. Don't think Brianna is a good fit or brand representative.

The customer service was terrible. I give it NO stars if I could. Kendra Scott employees made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. No one offered to help me. There was about 5 employees standing around watching me like I was going to steal something. And when I went home my jewelry was just thrown in a box. I will never go to this location again! Shame on them

Very, very condescending customer service. Purchase your items online, purchase through Amazon, find a different store nearby (i.e., the one on South Congress) - I received pretty disgraceful service at this North Lamar location. I walk in with all eyes immediately glaring at me as if I'm facing a firing squad. No greeting, no smiling, but instead I get a very quick and stern, "Can I help you?" from associate #031133 (as listed on my receipt). As she was ringing me up, she essentially talked to me as if I was a child. I understand that employees don't like it when people walk in 15 minutes before closing time - I get that. But, it's the holiday season, I'm a paying customer and yet I still suppose I'm asking too much for good (or even acceptable) help. My name is misspelled on the gift receipt after I repeatedly iterated the letters (and there are only 5...) I'm not one to rant so much, but this put a huge negative stigma on this brand for me moving forward. Stay away from this location.
