Excellent burger place. They can pretty much make any burger vegetarian by replacing the patty with a vegetarian one. But their appetizers that are fried are all done in beef lad. Very glad to know this from the waitress that attended our table. Excellent service and our waitress, Sophia,was really good once she understood our vegetarian/vegan requirements. She suggested things and told us what we can and can't have. Very much thankful to Sophia. The burgers are very well done and tasted good. You like heading there a bit spicy? Simply add either fresh or pickled jalapenos. The ambience of the place is rustic, tough and dark - pretty cool and nice. The gluten free chips are a bit salty but they are prepackaged and not made in house. Feel free to skip then altogether.

Not only does this place have great food and presentation, but the drinks are great as well. I was celebrating my birthday with my family and our server Nick went above and beyond, he was very attentive and very detail oriented. Nick and the staff presented me with a signed birthday card and a gift card. Very nice. Thank you Nick

WOW! It's very rare that a food place gets 5 stars across the board from me!! Food - wood fired frill for their burgers makes these burgers tastes amazing all by themselves! Now add in the freshest ingredients on your favorite burger with unreal cheese selections and a fresh bun to boot! Appetizer selections are fantastic with great sauces to accompany all of them! Service - I have been waiting SO long for service like I got from Marina .... all I ever ask for is to be served like they enjoy that I'm actually there and she went WAY above and beyond .... best service that I've had in years!! I will be back for the food, but really it's because the service is just a level above anything else! Atmosphere - Well done, you got me looking g and reading all of the amazing signs, sayings, and napkins throughout my entire visit. This place knows what they're doing and I am a HUGE fan!!!

Kept wanting to eat here and finally got time on Father’s Day. I celebrated not a father day in peace and quiet and the burger was amazing! The onion rings were the size of my fist. Thank God the barkeep told me to get a half order. The jucy Lucy delivered its cheesy hot goodness in each bite. I like the chopped pickles idea makes it be even rather than random pickle slices. I’d definitely go back soon!

This location is a great spot to check out if you are in the mood for a great burger with great service. We came from out of town, tried the Kenny Italian spot, and were informed of the Kenny burger spot, which is also great. When we are back in Dallas craving a burger, we will stop by here again!

Excellent burger place with many options for burgers and hot sandwiches with amazing sides. The service is always top notch too. My wife isn't much of a burger eater and Kenny's in one of the few places she will eagerly agree to go on date night. We've worked our way through the menu, through multiple visits, and everything has been excellent every time. Tonight, we ventured into the hot sandwiches with a Steak Bomb and a Smoked Brisket Melt with a side of Fried Pickles. Everything was excellent. We couldn't finish the Steak Bomb, it'll be dinner for tomorrow as well. Great job Kenny's!

My husband and I just had our first dine in experience at Kenny's, and it was absolutely top notch! Our server Chris was very welcoming and patient as we asked questions, and he explained everything so thoroughly. He left us with a very big impression: if you want something, Kenny's will find a way to make it for you. Throughout the dinner he was very attentive without being intrusive. We love Chris! We started with their bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, which were absolutely delicious with their ranch dip. Afterwards, we each ate their Chopped Wedge Salad with burger patties with Cajun seasoning. The flavors were outstanding, and even though the meal left me full, I'm already craving the next time I get a bite! We later found out that all of their burgers and sandwiches can be made from lettuce wraps. As my husband and I are both on a keto diet, this greatly impressed us with how great their menu is for us. We cannot wait till we come back!

The premier burger establishment in the DFW area offers a wide variety of burgers and patty melts to sample. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by our waitress, Sophia, whose delightful and cheerful demeanor enhanced our dining experience. As it was our first visit, she provided excellent food recommendations that we greatly appreciated. After our meal, she also shared information about the various locations. We extend our gratitude to Kenny’s and Sophia for their exceptional service and look forward to returning.

My first visit to Kenny's was fantastic. I drive by this place often and was looking for a great turkey burger, so my partner suggested we try it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles, which was very exciting. It's rare to see employees who genuinely seem to love their jobs, and that speaks volumes about the company. My partner and I decided to split the turkey burger and added an over-easy egg. To our surprise, the staff went above and beyond by creating two mini burgers for us, each with its own egg. I've never experienced such thoughtful and attentive service in preparing a burger. We ordered the onion rings, which were impressively large and looked like perfectly glazed donuts. As a fan of onion rings, I enjoyed the light, crunchy crust so much that I ate more than I planned. The bacon-wrapped peppers were also a hit, even the next day. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service provided by Nick. He was funny, knowledgeable, and made our experience memorable. I will definitely be returning. Have been to the Kenny's Burger's in Frisco many times in the distant past, but not here in Plano. Went on a Saturday. Place was not exceptionally busy. Was seated at a table. After waiting at our table for 15 minutes finally went up to the bar and ordered drinks. Took about 15 minutes to get the attention of a bartender and to pay for drinks to take back to table. Waiter finally shows up and suggests sandwiches, not burgers, which I find odd for a burger place. We ordered burgers. They were ok. Not the burgers I remember of Kenny's of past. Maybe an off day, but serving staff needs some basic training. Kitchen needs a little help in ensuring hot and fresh food gets served.

I loved this place ! The burgers were so fresh! The service was great. I got a lettuce burger with a double patty mushroom and jalapeños and cheese, everything came out perfect to the tea. My brother got a patty melt and my son got the kids tenders, the kids meal is phenomenal you get a meal and a drink and a sundae to your liking all for $6.99. The kids meal deal is amazing and so worth it. The restaurant is clean and really busy on the weekends, but this experience was nice, they also have really yummy Parmesan fries with a great dipping sauce. I would definitely come back. This place is a must for your burger cravings.

I was a little disappointed with the Jucy Lucy and strawberry milkshake. The Jucy Lucy had a good flavor but after a while it became a little too mushy and I got tired of eating it. I did opt for sautéed mushrooms so that may have messed with the original texture of the burger. The milkshake also didn't have a strong strawberry flavor and was too sweet for me. Highlight were the crispy yet pillowy fries and it paired very well with the burger. I was able to try the big kahuna and I definitely liked that burger much better. Overall this was a decent place to get burgers but some items fell a little flat. Food: Jucy Lucy: 3/5 Big Kahuna: 4/5 Fries: 4.5/5 Strawberry milkshake: 2/5

Daaaaang good burgers here at the best prices around. Absolutely love this place and all Kenny's restaurants tbh. Kenny knows how to make food for the ppls! I've had several different burger varieties here and they all hit perfectly! Super quick service and cool, chill vibes inside, even when it's packed. You cannot go wrong here. Highly recommend!

Kenny's is the definition of a hidden gem. I found this spot years ago when I worked at Pepsi over on headquarters. I pride myself in giving restaurant recommendations and for a burger spot there is none better in terms of the big 3: service, value, and taste of the food. If you want fried pickles and the full order is 10- you can order less pieces. They are super flexible and customizable. The staff is always super friendly and even on their busiest days they are great about refilling drinks, attending to your needs, etc. My favorite "burger" is actually a chicken option. I'm not much of a beef person but everyone I've brought loves this spot. I always order the grilled chicken pesto. This comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pesto, mayo, and provolone? cheese. I always add an egg because, protein. Honestly their burger/sandwich options are huge so depending on how hungry you are, you can probably share and each get your own side. Our server was Bryce (sorry if the spelling is wrong) and he was fantastic. A great service experience starts with refills and he refilled my beverage and my husbands regularly. He checked on us and provided quick service. Obviously I would return because I do and I've added to the list of regulars to Kenny's PS try their other spots. The Italian one in Addison is awesome (I love their sangria). If you like pizza the pizza joint in Plano is good too and has pasta options.

Another spontaneous date night! My Honey & I ate at Kenny's Burger Joint and it was a super big yum! We started off toasting each other with some cheer... Prisoner, cab. We each tasted each other's burger choice, mine a black & blue burger...Hubby's guacamole with pepper jack. Both a perfect MR. And a must order are the truffle, Parmesan FF's. And yes we have 1/2 of each others burgers in a togo box for a snack tomorrow. Natalie gave us friendly service with a great personality! See you soon. This was our first trip to Kenny's, but it won't be our last! OMGosh! Will you look at these Onion Rings! Our server gave us the side eye when we ordered a complete order. We said, we will share. She smiled and said, "OK!" I am pretty sure she laughed all the way to the kitchen! The hamburgers were huge and so tasty as well. I couldn't finish mine. I ate about 5 fries, which were wonderful as well. But, did you see these onion rings? Good Heavens, you could wear these as bracelets and just nibble while you go about your day or evening! Give this place a try if you want to enjoy a great burger! The atmosphere is laid back! It is a super place to enjoy dinner out for a relaxing evening!

Want a tasty burger! These wood grilled burgers are full of flavor. The menu is simple but rich with choices. The onion rings are huge and stacked high. Tried a small cup of chili ( not on the menu) and was impressed. Recently listed as a top 5 place for chili and I totally agree. Bar is well stocked and drink options seem endless. Beer too. Chocolate shake was delicious and topped off a satisfying meal . Chef Kenny Bowers has another winner in his restaurant empire. Location is next door to the huge Plano HEB grocery store and worth a visit.

We love the ambiance here and the food is always so fresh. The portions are huge too. We ordered: * Fried pickles (my favorite!) * Fries * Queso burger * Mushroom brie burger Our server was super friendly and made the entire experience very pleasant.

Stopped in here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend and left very pleased. The food was good quality, service was great and I left wanting to come back. Natalie our server was very attentive and nice. She explained the menu and was lightning quick. We had both the fried pickles and deluxe fries. They were both superb and the Ranch dipping sauce was fantastic. After seeing the onion rings go to another table it guaranteed I would be back again in the future. The burger was good and served open face. Some times guacamole scares me as it is at times not fresh or tasty. The guacamole and pepper jack was perfect. If there was one thing I would change it would be the bacon being just a little more crispy. Wife had the salad and boozie milkshake. It was a vanilla based milkshake with caramel and bourbon. Loved the waitress brought the little extra in a cup. That to me is quality and care for the customer and the r loved it.

Amazing Burgers!! My hubby had the Bleu Burger and I had the Bacon Cheese Burger and added mushrooms. Skinny onion rings and french fries were on point! Will definitely be back!! My friend has the Ribeye Cheese Steak Sandwich...there are no words on how incredibly delicious it was!!

We've been coming to Kenny's Burger joint for years. It is always great. Don't be afraid to venture off the beaten path of burgers. Make sure to try the jalapeno poppers, and the sandwiches. My personal favorite is the brisket grilled cheese! Service is always great here too. You're always greeted and seated promptly. The wait staff is careful and attentive they make sure your order is right and that you really enjoy your meal. The atmosphere is nothing short of great. Quotes from great movies such as Pulp Fiction, and Dirty Harry all around the walls, photos by the bar, fair drink prices, and a long happy hour too. Yep, Zed's dead, but Kenny's Burger joint is the spot!

I've been coming here since it's opened, but never written a review and I don't know why, bc their food has always been really good. My guest and I came here couple of days ago since we haven't been here in a while. I was jonesing for the Ahi Tuna burger/sandwich with Wasabi mayonnaise. Emma Cate was our server and she was great! She was very friendly, attentive and prompt. I found out by looking at the menu that they no longer had the Ahi Tuna Burger on the menu(It's been a minute since I've been here last). I asked Emma Cate if they could make the Ahi Tuna burger and she went to check and she said they could. We also ordered cheddar cheese fries. It was very busy, but Emma Cate didn't miss a beat. She even asked us if we needed drinks to go and to me, that's above and beyond, bc most servers I had never offered us that. We really appreciated it! It was a great experience as always and we will return sooner next time!

Burgers were thick, juicy and great. Ordered the friend pickle spears which were amazing. It's hard to find pickle spears so I'd go back for that alone. Got tater tots, fries and we all enjoyed everything.

My go to burger spot! Since trying this place on a whim last month I've gone 3 times. The Kahuna Burger is so moist and well seasoned. The sweet potato fries are always . I couldn't get pics because I ate my meal rather quickly. Staff Is always so kind here. I know a lot of places have us thinking good customer service is gone but I can't say that to be the case here. My last server Marina was so sweet and checked on me to ensure I was enjoying my meal when I was pausing to watch tv. Overall this is a good family establishment with good food and a fun atmosphere.

I came here today on Mother's Day 2023 - lucky for me, burgers must not be popular for moms in Plano. I found a seat at the bar right away, and was tended to right away. Fast service. I had the Double Double, which is an old-fashioned burger with mustard as the spread. Their standard burgers come with mayonnaise. So when you see the "M" on the list of toppings, it is the white stuff. For a side I had the skinny cut onion rings, which the bartender told me are more manageable than the normal doughnut-sized ones. He was right. My burger and onion rings were SOLID. The bun was toasty and kept the burger in great shape as I inhaled it. The pickles were unusual on that they were diced, but they also held up beautifully. My intention was to not eat my whole meal and be a good boy, but I couldn't help but scarf it all down. There was no shame to be had, and I would come back if in the area.

We love Kenny's other restaurants, but stopped into the Burger Joint for the first time last week. The burgers tasted great, but the menu is limited as far as non-burger options. The milkshakes were disappointing; overly sweet and had a twang. Not sure we like this Kenny's location.

We re new in town so asked our Realtor about where to get a good burger...without hesitation she rec Kenny's. DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We ea got a burger and fries, should have split just one order of fries we were so stuffed! Big SHOUT OUT to our server Luke who provided EXCELLENT SERVICE! One suggestion...need some addl Larger Paper napkins in addition to the provided cloth napkins to help w the juiciest burger in town!!

I'm a huge fan of Kenny's. Their food is tasty and their menu selection is fantastic. unfortunately, at our most recent visit our server was not as attentive and did not provide the level of service that we've come to expect from Kenny's. our server had four tables, plus ours. He was able to attend to and respond to everyone's needs except for ours. He only checked on us once, and we had to flag him down for drink refills. We even had to flag him down for our check. meanwhile, the tables around us that he was serving got refills, to go boxes, desserts and their check without needing to ask. all in all, it was a very unpleasant experience.

The atmosphere is a divey burger joint. It was packed so that's always a good sign for me. I ordered a half Asian salad $5.99 which was very good and fresh. The added mango and avocado were great with the vinaigrette, only downside was the iceberg lettuce but for a dive spot it's a given. I had my mushroom brie burger $10.99 protein style and our waitress was so kind to suggest wrapping paper to let me wrap my lettuce burger to keep my burger together. I ordered my meat to be cooked to medium and everything was so good and the flavor combo was phenomenal!! My partner chose the voodoo burger $12.99 ohh and let me say that Cajun spice and the grilled jalapeños were a perfect match! The fries were extra crispy and salty just like I like them. Overall a great family place and will visit it again soon.

Oh my God! Whenever you crave a burger - that's the place to go. Just went yesterday again, we were seated imnediately, and by the best type of server in my opinion "no nonsense server"! She was very polite and super efficient, took our orders, brought extras we asked for, asked the right questions, but not too much chitchat, just perfect! Everything we've tried there came out delicious. I'm Tarantino partial, so I mostly go for "Royal with Cheese", but melts, Brie burgers, chili dogs, kid meals, shakes, tater tots - everything is delicious. Don't get me started on the truffle fries, they hit the spot every single time. Always accommodating for families with kids, always friendly, always tasty, my kind of place.

As soon as you park and open your car door you can smell the food. Walking in you are immediately greeted and welcomed. This was our first time and it couldn't have gone any better. Rachel was our server and did an amazing job. It was our first time here and she asked. She happily gave us a rundown of specials and suggestions on the menu. Because it was our first time we did get a free appetizer no coupon or silliness. It was nice. The food was great and came out hot and fresh. Rachel was very attentive throughout our visit and we would ask for her going back and we will definitely be back.

Two words: Fried pickles. They make the best ones right here at Kenny's and they are addictive! The burgers are epic and service always is a 10 out of 10, especially bar seating.

PlanoFoodies recommended this place and we drove an hour to try it. It was sooo worth the drive. Our amazing waitress Natalie recommended the queso burger. Not on the menu anymore but they accommodated. Cheddar bacon burger was cooked perfectly! The onion rings were HUGE!! Also, had a blue cheese wedge (more like chopped salad). SO good!!!

Bring back the bacon-wrapped jalapeños! We go to Kenny's Burger Joint for the bacon-wrapped jalapeños. Now they changed them to a deep fried jalapeno. They tase like something from the frozen section of Walmart. I can get a good burger at a lot of places, but I choose Kenny's because I can also get those great jalapeños. I guess not anymore. Down to earth traditional burger joint. Food, atmosphere and service were great. Sit down service. Food arrived quickly and cooked correctly.

When I first saw Kenny, I, of course, started humming the Kenny Rogers song "The Gambler" followed closely by a horrible impression of Southpark's Cartman saying, "Da**it you killed Kenny"... Gen X, what can I say. Luckily, Kenny Burgers moved itself out from under the shadow of these legends and created a shadow of its own. First and foremost, the service from the jump we were greeted with smiles and welcomes and seated promptly, and even when I asked to move a to different table because I dont like my back to the dining room they didnt hesitate to let us move. Hopefully, I didn't hurt any of the wait staff's wallets too bad. I always feel bad asking to move but try to do it before anything is ordered. We weren't sitting long at all when our waiter arrived, Christian, extremely friendly and courteous, spot on with his recommendations of the Chipotle Mayonaise, which is only served during August, I believe. He never made us feel rushed or alone on an island. He was a phenomenal waiter, and from what I heard around me, he wasn't the only one. The food; I ordered the brisket grilled cheese sammich with fried pockles and of couse a side of the Chipotle Mayo, and when I say that I heard Angels Sing and almost wept whne I bit into the sammich, I would be exaggerating, but not by much! It was so full of flavor, and the dipping it in the chiptle mayo I almost asked if I could smack the chef because my mom's feelings had to be hurt over how much better this grill cheese was than hers.... needless to say, order it, but dont be shocked if you go through a range of emotions that make you question your life choices, ultimately leading you to be a better person. All in all, from the quirky movie references and quotes to amazing service to food that'll make you rethink your life's purpose, Kenny's 100% deserves the 5 stars.

Had lunch at Kenny's Burger joint. The hamburger was just so so. Wasn't bad, it just wasn't exciting either. On the flipside, I absolutely loved the sweet potato fries. Couldn't stop eating them. Absolutely delicious!

Casual dining , very busy at certain times with lots of families, I'd say the place could use a good scrubbing and some proper lighting in there. The front doors are dirty, the front desk is pushed over to a corner, the room looks tired and so do the chairs and tables. Why I have no idea, they did really well all through COVID! The food is basic and the presentation is awful. The waiter swiped my plate from under me before I could even finish my last morsel, must be an over enthusiastic school kid. There were many vacant tables by that time. Seems like the same old menu could use some sprucing up. I think the difference between the Zeds and the Royale is a piece of cheese which cannot cost a dollar more because of it. The French fries need some energy! Wilted and boring! In as much as I like a good burger and want to support a local eatery I still would like to see more of what sets it apart.

Drove over to Plano to check out the new H‑E‑B and stopped in at Kenny's for lunch and so happy we did. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with smiles and very welcoming employees. Got waited on quickly and their sweet tea is great! Had two burgers and some parm truffle fries and everything was tasty and perfectly cooked. Got to say prob the best burger and def the best fries I've had in a while. Might be worth the 30 min drive over to Plano. Highly recommend.
