Total hole in the wall. 5/5 Highly recommend. The food is delicious and service was friendly. Prices are affordable. We arrived shortly after 7am and the breakfast rush was in full swing. We will be back if we're near Hartsfield at breakfast or lunchtime!

It was alright. I liked the funky, eclectic decor a lot more than I did the coffee. The croissant was supposed to be ham and cheese, but they gave me bacon and cheese, but it was good. The young lady that was taking my order was either sleepy or just struggling to listen. When I order the coffee, I always ask for a little room for cream. Then after she rings everything up and starts pouring it, she asks if I wanna leave a little room for cream. I say yes ma’am. She pours the full cup of coffee, no room for cream. Hah! It felt like a bit from a Seinfeld episode. I did appreciate the little lagniappe fresh fruit cup!

My friend and I stopped by Kenny's Cafe for lunch on Saturday (7-6-2024). It was our first time eating at this establishment. My friend had the wings/fries and I had chicken strips/fries. The fries were freshly cooked and hot. The chicken strips-on the other hand- were not ACTUALLY strips (the kind I am used to), but some kind of breaded pressed chicken parts. They were also freshly cooked and hot but not as good as regular chicken strips. If you are looking for real chicken strips, you will have to go somewhere else. The service was good, I think only because we were the only 2 people in the restaurant--besides the owners daughter. The atmosphere was so-so, there was a soccer match on the tv. You could tell that the building had been converted (from something else) to a restaurant.

My hubby and I found this place last week and have already eaten here 3 times in a row for breakfast. Everything is good and fresh and the service is amazing. This will definitely be our new breakfast spot from now on.

Açaí bowl and a Bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. 💣 Awesome food. Loved the vibes. Found objects, antique cameras, chill music. Loved it. I’ll likely be back 🫶🏽

Food was very good, service was fast, but no personal touch. I'm deducting points for ambience... come on... the place doesn't have to look like a dungeon just because its a mom and pop. Won't be eating in here again except perhaps as a take-away.

Just close down!! We dined in. This is the worst huge hole in the wall ever in terms of the interior. Filthy floors. This place hasn't been painted since the 70's. The owner provides the absolute minimum. Very tacky and outdated no matching tables and chairs. How did it pass inspection? Boxes stacked where dining tables are, a tall metal ladder. Old non working display refrigerator. The list goes on and on. This is an old Asian/Chinese restaurant. Food was decent but the price and atmosphere didn't match.

Great food, large amounts, excellent prices, and exceptional customer service. I saw a large crowd come in 15 minutes before closing, and they treated them and made their food fresh, just as though the restaurant had just opened. Finding a restaurant like that is hard to come by nowadays. I will definitely continue to recommend this diner to any and everyone.

Breakfast here is made to order and also have a cafe line style assortment of food. Lunch during the week offers a down home cook meal from anywhere from fried chicken and mashed potatoes to salsberry steak and rutabagas. The service is welcoming and friendly everytime! I definitely recommend this place for your in and out needs!!

Came into Kenny's this morning for a quick breakfast meal. I have several coworkers to tell me about Kenny's. They know I love me some grits, eggs and meat. However, sense I been working over this alway now. I haven't been able to get my grits fix every morning. So! I gave them a try. Kenny's is a mom and pop type resto. Known to the locals and several business workers around the area as the place to go for good soul food. After placing my order, people had started coming in more and more. The cooks had already started there lunch menu, but I wanted breakfast. Which I believe they serve until I 1pm. I love how they remember by name alot of they're frequent customers. I meet the owner Kenny, he too knew his customers and made sure they had everything to needed with the meal. As for my meal...it was perfect. They cooked my eggs exactly how I asked. Rest assure I will try the lunch menu soon. If your in the area stop by Kenny's.

Kenny.. whoever he is, is doing it right! Sometimes you don't want fast food or a chain restaurant and that's where Kenny's Cafe hits! The breakfast is good and it comes out fast. I ordered the breakfast special: one meat, two eggs, grits and toast/biscuit.. for $7 (after tax) What stood out on this order was the biscuit. I don't like biscuits like that but their biscuits are buttery and fluffy. It hits the spot when you use it to soak up the egg yolks. Kenny's will be my go-to breakfast spot when I'm in the area.

Looked like garbage.walked in walked out.Salisbury steak lined up like boca patties but more like Clark patties.no Gravy in site .mashed potatoes definitely Idaho instant Mac n cheese looked like stoufers and don't get me wrong that's good sometimes but when I want a meat n 3 I'll do Walter's,q's,big daddies on cascade(only) or Kempers on metropolitan

Breakfast was really good and quick and tasty. It's a good place for a quick bite on the way some where and they had lunch food buffet

Kenny's Philly and Wings part of the business that operates 4-11pm M-F and 11:30am-11pm on Saturday is great! I have longed for the caliber of Philly Cheesesteak that Philly Connection served. I have now found it at Kenny's! The food is cooked and prepped as ordered, and the staff is friendly and quick. They tend to get busy, so there might be a little wait, but it is so worth it. Let's support sweet and friendly Kenny in this new adventure in expanding his restaurant hours. He and his staff love their customers and do their best to please and serve them.

Delicious, affordable food with great, efficient service. I dont know what else you can ask for?! If you need a quick delicious breakfast, especially on the go, this is a place to get it.

Cafeteria style food, fast & good. What you see is what you get. If you're ever in a hurry and want some regular southern food, this is a good place.

Flies everywhere all over the potatoes and pancakes that they prepare & sit them on the side!! So HELL NO TO KENNY'S FLY TRAP!!

I'm reminded of a sign an old professor of mine had on his door. It read: "When fried, I like okra. When sober, I can't stand it." I love fried okra when it's done right. And these folks did it right. The fried okra was crisp and tasty. Not overdone or over-salted. Just right. The exterior looks a little rough, but don't let that dissuade you from coming in. The people are friendly, even as they sometimes concentrate hard on serving so many customers. The thing to remember is: This is no-frills Southern Cooking at its best. Meat and two (or three). And one of the few places I've ever seen which is open and serving breakfast before 6am. And the prices are RIGHT! Scrambled eggs and biscuits. Pancakes large enough to lie down on. Even though they're churning out food in volume, I swear it tastes home cooked. Plus, it's hard to make your order cost more than $5 Lunch is a little more expensive. And lunch selections change daily. I had some fish (with hush-puppies) and collards and the aforementioned okra. The whole thing cost me less than $8. I'm looking forward to my next tripe to Hapeville. Holler if you're coming with.

Love this place. Very good food. Quick, easy, and great value (takes it easy on your wallet). I've only been there for breakfast, but I hear the lunch is good too. If you're ever near Hapeville and need a quick bite, please stop in.

Stopped into this place after my husband and search for a breakfast place nearby our hotel... He already ordered our food before I even came in from the car after being on a phone call... First impression when I came in was that the place was not very well-maintained with cleanliness... Although there were at least 8 to 9 people working behind the counter in the food preparation... Perhaps more people should be delegated to clean up of tables that are used and also have better disposable usage of condiments as opposed to community shared creamers and such... I'm sure the place serves a great service to the community for those who would like to get an affordable hot meal however they do not respect the public by keeping the place clean..

Good quick easy cheap food. Use the address provided on yelp or you'll end up at an abandoned business. I ordered 3 breakfast specials which come with eggs, grits, , biscuit or toast and a meat option. I chose 1 with sausage, 1 with bacon and the other with a salmon patty. Everything was cooked well and seasoned well. I was expecting the salmon patty to be fried but it was grilled which was ok with me. Everything is cooked fresh to order. I waited maybe 6 minutes before my food was ready. The decor is out dated but it strikes me as a more order to go type place.

If you call in your order you can be in & out in less than 3 minutes. On the weekdays, there's no breakfast rush. Inexpensive and delicious breakfast food. Very courteous staff

Food is always good and they give you an abundant portion that you cannot finish unless of course you can eat 5 pounds at a time.

Kenny's is the BEST! Breakfast and Lunch can't be beat for the money! Everything I have had has been fresh and flavorful; Breakfast is cooked to order, while Lunch is cafeteria style. Yes, the decor is spartan with a hole-in-the-wall look, but who cares.... the food, service, and value more than make up for a lack of fancy schmanciness! Don't miss out on Kenny's; it's simply perfect!

Kenny's has been here for the three years i've worked in this area, and at first glance, they're the typical meat and/or three lunch/dinner establishment. I stopped going to them a couple years ago because I found hair in my food. Fast forward a couple years and Kenny's is offering breakfast. They're typically the only non-fast food place that light their "Open" sign before 6am, so I checked them out and grabbed scrambled eggs (4 for under $2) and dry toast. Eggs tasted like you made them, fantastic! I came back today to get a second order and noticed their hot cake plate (3 LARGE hotcakes, 2 eggs how you want them and either two sausage patties or bacon for $4 out the door). I was blown away by the size of the pancakes, as well as how good they were, cooked right in front of you to boot. They're typical breakfast promotion though is 1 meat, 2 eggs, grits and biscuit/toast, for $3.27. Can't beat these prices or quality (for breakfast anyway). Yea, the outside looks a little rough and people park any old way, almost ignoring the parking spaces, but get in where you fit in and absolutely give kenny's a try!

Their county friend steak and their hamburgers are delicious foods. Love their mash potato with gravy and black eye peas. Perfect southern comfort food at a reasonable price.

Best bacon and egg sandwich off the grill fast off the grill!!!! I pair it with a hot cup of coffee and yummy ! Happy ride through Atlanta in the morning!!!

Kenny's is a greasy spoon and has exceptional southern breakfast at an affordable price. Bacon, eggs, grits, pancakes, salmon croquettes, fried fish, sausage patties, toast are all of the items I have had and none of them have been disappointing. Service is fairly quick but keep in mind the food is cooked to order. Call ahead of you can't wait about 15 minutes. The restaurant is located in an old shopping plaza and the interior is dated but I always order to go Also, Atlanta's finest APD are regulars. I see multiple officers getting breakfast during my visits. I haven't tried the lunch so I can't comment on the lunch menu, but breakfast is good to go.

I've never eaten lunch but breakfast is a simple country breakfast. There's nothing fancy about Kenny's but if you want good food at a bargain this is it. Decor is 1970's but clean. There are a lot of blue color airport employees, cops and Georgia power people in here every time I drop by. Not a date spot but good food, a lot of it for the cheap. The two plates in the picture was less than 10 bucks.

This place is cheap and simple. The biscuits are light and fluffy and the have hot sausage, turkey bacon, bacon, salmon cakes, chicken fried steak, chicken and hot links. The pancake special is probably the best deal. I heard lunch is pretty good too. Its just an old school blue collar spot.

I came to Atlanta to visit my daughter. It was so early in the morning. Places weren't open yet. We ended up at Larry's. The pancakes were off the chain delicious. A breakfast with meat eggs and biscuit or pancakes was only 5.95! What? This food was fresh, hot and Delicious. Please go and know you will be pleased. They also serve grits potatoes and fried fish.

This is one of my favorite spots around here for Breakfast and Lunch!! Can't get any better with the price and the food and the costumer service it's always great!! Nothing to complain about food always great!! You around and want to get great food for little money stop by and enjoy yourself you won't regret it!!

Absolutely enthusiastically endorse Kennys. Stopped by the new location. First let me say, my food was nearly too hot to eat, a rare problem, especially at a cafeteria style restaurant. The lunch specials change daily, but they have a nice selection of entrees. I paid $7 including tax for 2 Salisbury steaks over rice, corn, cabbage, 2 corn muffins, and a drink. Everyday lunch specials include drink, 2 veggies and bread the corn muffins are delicious. The steak although it's prefab, it's tasty and not mushy. The cabbage was great. Corn needs a bit more seasoning. Overall great value, good food and much more comfortable location. Much better option than fast food.

This breakfast is sooooo good and so reasonably priced who wouldn't come try it! It's a whole in a wall but once u get passed it's Obviously appearance of needing a upgrade IMMEDIATELY the breakfast is AWESOME! The pancakes are mouth watering ADDITIVE! the home fries are soooo yummy! So well priced u will get full while enjoying your scrumptious meal! Enjoy

If you want a cheap quick breakfast be my guest. But I'll tell you, I have never tasted food so dry, and flavorless. Good luck.

If you want something good, quick, and affordable, Kenny's is your place! The food is good. They have a great selection to choose from. The breakfast salmon is very delicious.

Can't beat 1 meat, 2 sides, bread , and drink for $6 included tax. The food is good for the price! The cornbread was the star of this Country Cookin' restaurant. The owner is Korean. The quality of food is subpar. Everything is very homey. Nothing healthy about this place, but this place is not for a health-conscious. I usually get the vegetables plate. I could not vouch for the chicken rotisserie, that I must say look pretty good and seems popular with the locale clientele. Seriously, try the cornbread! I insist.

This place is a bang for your buck. Cheap but tasty. Creamy Mac and cheese and super crispy chicken tenders.

Great size pancakes, tasty,but not impressive. Everything is cooked on the grill while in line. Pancakes eggs meat constantly moving,so the food was fresh. $5.54 got me 3 lrg pancakes, 3 strips of bacon and cheese eggs. I would return.

If i forget my lunch at home or just want a good veggie plate i always come to Kenny's....Very cheap. I can get 4 veggies, bread, and a drink for like 6 bucks! Their breakfast is really good too. Only downside to this place is, it closes at 3! I really wish they were open all day.

Kenny's is a meat and three in Hapeville. It is an experience. I've only had breakfast, but I'd eat lunch here. The 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and a meat for $4 is about the best breakfast deal I am aware of. You aren't paying for ambience, you are paying for good food.

Me and Big Mama was coming back from a tile run 'cause we be rehabbing a house. Parking lot was packed with a bunch of work trucks so we pulled ours in. Got a meat, 2 sides, cornbread, and a drink for $5.61! The food is not out of a can and be the real deal. Who knew Asians could cook soul food? I suggest beef tips on rice (which is on the menu every day) and the cornbreads. Can you tell I is from LaGrange? Or is Big Mama influencing me?

I love the breakfast here at this place there potatoes in particular and the pancakes are really good it's a HOLE IN THE WALL!!! Needs a serious updating! Good prices & good breakfast

Went for breakfast at 10:30 am but they had started lunch. Ordered cabbage (not seasoned), Mac and Cheese (slimy) Fried chicken (greasy) the corn muffins were good. Would like to return to try the breakfast menu, which I've been told, is quite good. I will let you know when I return.

Food was served fast, is excellent and definitely affordable. Ate there two days in a row while on a business conference and will definitely come again.
