Kenny's Westside Pub

I did an engagement session in downtown Peoria, and Kenny's staff was so friendly! I treated the couple to an after shoot drink, and the staff allowed us to take a few photos because the couple enjoys date nights here!

Chicken strips DO NOT come out fluffy like the ones in the picture. I got them like that ONE time. The last 3 times I ordered from here, they came out extremely overcooked, batter stuck to the chicken, crunchy/hard, dry... completely non-edible. These are going in the trash just like the last few times. The problem is, they won't even take your order unless you pay up front, so there are no options when they aren't cooked right. I give up. Never again.

Great place to go before a show at civic center. Irish nachos are fire with the tots. Great selection of beverages. Reuben sandwich was excellent. The corn beef and bacon mac n cheeses was a great side dish.

This is the first ever Google review I’ve written for a restaurant, and this place is well deserved of that. Kenny’s pub was amazing. Service was great, I did not order a Guinness, but the ones I saw looked amazing. My friends and I enjoyed the pretzel bites and grilled cheese, and the dill soup was amazing. We all had a great time. If I ever find myself in Peoria again, I know exactly where to go.

Portabello fries are excellent! Good burger, especially at 2AM. No big issues with service, but they had one guy doing too much in the front. I get it that late, you're not going to have full staff. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Maybe I just hit a busy moment. But would definitely do again!

I had the tenderloin tot shoe it was absolutely delicious and very big, My wife had the Sean's Dublin dip and she loved it. ABSOLUTE MUST TRY PICKLE SOUP DELICIOUS. Great staff great food

The food is good here! So is the service, just ask for Taylor 🙂 There is a nice variety of adult beverages on the menu and on tap. Adult gaming is also available at this location. Because this location is in downtown Peoria, don't count on getting a parking spot out front. There is lots of parking available nearby, just be sure to bring change for the meter.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon to get a couple drinks after a wedding. Kenny’s has a wide selection of drinks with a beer for everyone’s tastes. I got a mango wheat beer that I really liked. We also decided to get some pretzel bites. They were very different than what I was expecting. It seems like they took a soft pretzel, cut it up, fried the pieces, and sprinkled some seasoning on it. It really worked. Also, the bar staff were super friendly. Coming from Chicago, the prices were so cheap it felt like a dream.

Stopped in for lunch and it was amazing. I had heard the Corned Beef Quesadilla were good, but that's selling them short. What a unique flavor. The place was packed at 12:15, some ended up at the bar. The bartenders waited on us and did a great job. And what a cool place. I really want to return when they have a live band!

Good - Great experience overall. Good staff. great band. Clean. Great decor very comfortable atmosphere and the bar is nice and spacious Bad- the one thing an Irish bar has to do right which they do wrong is the Guinness. It was flat. I did not even finish. See pic. No foam on side

Quick, easy, delicious. Overall easy 5 stars for me. Food was great, I got the chicken sandwhich and tots and they were excellent. Service was super friendly and quick. Great stop if you are ever in the area.

What a nice surprise that an Irish Pub actually has Irish beer! Harp, Kilkenny, Smithwicks, and of course Guinness on tap. The staff is friendly and listens to good music. I had the pork tenderloin and was WAY too much to eat.

The food here was very good and the prices were great! The two waitresses offered great service and the food was ready quickly after ordered. The atmosphere of the pub was very welcoming and had a lot of friendly faces. I hope to come back again soon :)

This place was excellent! Great atmosphere, the bartender was super cool, and my food was delicious. I had the adult grilled cheese add a burger patty on the recommendation of the bartender. I will definitely return during the next conference!

Stopped on a Saturday night before a Rivermen game, the server got up a table and took our order. I had the roast beef sandwich (The Dublin) which came with a dipping sauce of Irish stew and it was very good. My guest had tenderloin horseshoe with tater tots, another outstanding dish we will be back! The Rivermen won Saturday night, now we are back on Sunday afternoon before the final game of the Championship. After waiting in line we optioned to sit at the bar. We split a chicken sandwich with tater tots.

I had the Sean's dip sandwich, the steak was very dry, not fresh, and the bacon+corned beef mac and cheese had hardly any bacon or corned beef in it. I would skip eating here.

No better place than Peoria for a Reuben. It's bar food after all so what can I say, but for something open late, grab yourself some Irish fare and go see a Grateful Dead cover band. You'll feel right at home.

Kenny's Westside Pub has great food, drinks, atmosphere, and service in a downtown Peoria Irish Pub. What more can you ask for? The Strawberry Walnut Salad and Irish stew are 5/5. I never would have thought a random bar in the Midwest would serve such a good salad. The raspberry vinaigrette, sweet slices of strawberry, and ample amount of walnuts mixed well with the spinach and leafy greens. The Irish stew had a hearty beef broth with tender cuts of beef, carrots, celery, and a sourdough bread slice at the bottom of the plate soaking up all that beefy goodness. The tots had an excellent crispy breading and tasted great with ketchup. The cup of dill pickle soup was a little weird and had a ton of sour cream in it. It wasn't my favorite dish but was worth a try. The sour ale Duchesse de Bourgogne I drank was good. It tasted like an alcoholic apple cider. Servers constantly checked up on us and made our meal more enjoyable.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, sat at the bar. Great service and food. Dill pickle soup is really a must try here. The chicken wings were also super good--- crispy and fresh out the fryer. Perfect spot for lunch no complaints.

Ok so this was the first place we tried in Peoria last year when things opened up, and it was weird. The food was ok, we had a wrap and a burger but for an Irish pub they were playing hair banger music and it was loud. Just a weird vibe for what we were expecting. The food was good though and so was the service.

Great food until 4am! Awesome live music, and super friendly & efficient bartenders. I had a great visit and will be back asap! Slainte! Also, merch looks dope!

Amazing onion rings! The best I've ever eaten. The crab cakes are good too. My spouse had Portobello mushroom fries and chicken wings. Very fresh and flavorful food at Kenny's. That is just the appetizers! We will return and try other foods. I have now made Kenny's my new go to for onion rings.

Came with a large group for a late lunch. Easy in even with the bunch of us. Good selection of beer and food was of the Irish theme although central EU and America fare was there as well. Had the stew and the French dip (Dublin Dip) both of which were very good with a slightly different taste. Pickle soup was done very nicely. Adding a Guinness made it just right, indeed. Service was good but they forgot an order and had to be reminded.

We were road-tripping back home and wanted to stop for lunch in Peoria while we could, before being in the middle of nowhere. Kenny's felt like the perfect place to take a break at, with easy parking nearby and also allowing us to check out a bit of downtown. We really enjoyed Kenny's! They have a nice sidewalk patio to relax on while enjoying a meal. Although I didn't have a full entrée here, I did love the Irish cheddar soup and onion rings that I had. It was a pretty big portion - even that I wasn't able to finish! I'd highly recommend Kenny's if you're looking for a nice place to eat in downtown Peoria.

Ordered via toast app for pick up, dill pickle soup and the Bella fries. Hubs got corned beef quesadilla. All of it was DELICIOUS!! I used to think another local place was the better Irish food, I'm happy to say I was mistaken. Kenny's has such great food!

This place has amazing bar food - best onion rings I've ever had, solid crab cakes. The Live music is great, but this place also has the whole 'sectioned off' set up so you can enjoy the music or go back into a different area and make conversation. Beer selection is great.

Everything was delightful! I had the corned beef wrap a with side of tots. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meals too. Staff were attentive and friendly! We got here early enough on a Monday(not many places open on Mon.), by the time we left it was very busy. I'd go back again for sure!

Went to Kenny's on a concert night which is always a challenge! They were fully staffed and, though we had to wait a bit, the bartender got us beverages very quickly. My partner ordered fish and chips with tots. I had a veggie wrap with tots. Cheese on the tots was an option though we both declined tonight. As usual with Kenny's, orders were taken quickly and as we waited, our beverages were refreshed quickly. Staff was hustling, but all of them were pleasant and efficient. The fish was served with vinegar as a good option. The fish was hot and crispy, never greasy. My veggie wrap wad made with tomato, red peppers, black olives, a small bit of lettuce, mushrooms, onion, and cheese in a fresh tortilla. Delish! Tots were hot and crispy! Our meal was $54 which included two drinks each. We're were in at 5:30, out by 6:30. The place was very busy when we left, even outside dining. The outside option is always great. Never disappointed with Kenny's!

Corn beef sandwich and the wrap is good. The Irish stew is also good. Good selection of brews, but we're temporarily out of a couple that were on tap. Sat at the bar so service was right in front of us, however the evening staff were starting to arrive at 5pm on a Wednesday. Ambiance is interesting with the pictures and articles on the wall, but fairly typical of the bar/grill scene. Sure do miss their beer cheese soup they use to serve a couple years back, it was the best.

We really enjoyed the Irish Flatbread pizza . We did have it on more than 1 occasion. So I guess the fact we came back says a lot. We also tried some of the different beverages and we were not disappointed. It has outside seating as well as inside. So if it's a cool summer evening enjoy the outside

Good cheap drinks. We came here before dinner for some drinks and had to ask the bar tender if the price was correct because it was so cheap!

I discovered this restaurant about 6 months ago. Was attending a trial at the courthouse, and someone suggested this place. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Reuben Sandwich w/fries. It was so good. I have went back several times. Usually the food, and service is good. There is a waitress that works there who knows how I like my ordered prepared. When I come in she says "Fries No Salt, and Cooked Soft ". I smile as I am impressed. I don't know what happened, but today..Dec 4th 2021 all customer service went out the window. When I called back the person that answered the phone was rude. She says " I personally checked the order, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. Wrong answer. She wouldn't have ate it herself. Not satisfied. I'm Done. Wish I could post the picture of the order.

Kenny's is just OK. There are two other taverns in the neighborhood, Jack's on Adams, and the Blue Duck, I find preferential. I've been to Jack's three times. I've had burgers and pizzas there. Jack's burgers may be the best in Peoria. Their burgers far superior to that of Kenny's. The service at 03 taverns is exemplary. The waitresses who helped me at Kenny's are delightful chill young women who waited on me with cheerful smiles. The waitresses at the Blue Duck are efficient but do not have a cheerful demeanor but do their job well. I'm also eating at the Thyme Kitchen. It has a great selection of craft beer, as does Jacks but after having three meals, there I can say, the food is quite a disappointment. Out of the four places I've mentioned, I prefer Jack's. The food is great, the service is excellent, they have live music, and a nice selection of beer and mixed drinks.

Went here after a concert because it's so close to the Civic Center Theater. Bartenders were great and very attentive. The pretzel bites and cheese appetizers were not very good, but proximity and convenience comes with a price.

At this point in my musical career, Kenny's feels like my home away from home. I've yet to perform at a venue that takes care of their artists as well as Kenny's does. The staff is stellar and super accommodating, the stage crew makes everything look and sound great (shoutout to Johnny & Honk!) and the food & brew selection's top notch. What other venue can you show up to load in at 5 and grab a bite before your gig, and still be able to order a late night snack post-show at 3AM?? Big thanks to Sean and his team for running a killer spot, it's worth the drive down from Chicago every time.

I was in here one night after a wedding. And it definitely was a great spot. The food menu was diverse and the food itself was delicious. They had live music going that night and patio seating open with two separate bar areas. Tables and booths available on a first come first serve basis. Normally, that makes me nervous because the tables don't get cleaned off fast enough so you're kind of left to bus your own table. However, that's not the case with this place. The servers and bartenders were super attentive. When I ordered food I ordered a grilled cheese without bacon on it but I also ordered some loaded fries the server doubled back to confirm that bacon on the loaded fries was OK because he knew I ordered the grilled cheese without bacon. Personally I love that! If you're looking for a great spot after an event or just a hang out on a weekend, hell, if you're looking for a spot to hang out during the week this is a solid spot.

delicious food! great service. we sat outside and it was a little too warm but that's not their fault. we started with irish nachos (french fries covered with cheese, bacon, and green onions). the fries were seasoned really well. then i had the fish and chips. dipped my fries in their ranch which is really good. i really enjoyed the fried fish and coleslaw. my sister had a crispy chicken wrap and some mac and cheese - she was also pleased. 4/5 stars because we did have to wait a little bit for the waiter to bring our check. overall, i enjoyed this pub and will come here again.

A well lit, high ceilinged dark walled bar. The music is not overpowering. You have a choice of booths, table or at the bar to sit at. There's a small street side outdoor patio. And they have a hall for large groups. Item prices are under $11 each. Drink prices are very reasonable!

It's a random place and the downtown is decimated from covid. Good to them keeping on. The food was exactly what they promised and the drinks were really good.

This is my wife and I's favorite place. Amazing music venue, but the real story is the awesome food they have. Everything I've tried was better than I expected. If you want a great atmosphere and great food, this place is for you.

Came here after a long night in Peoria from a concert. Everyone wanted bar food. From appetizers we got a flatbread of chicken bacon ranch which was good and Irish nachos/loaded fries. They needed screwing up and bring us two of Irish nachos so win. The pretzel is like nuggets to dip into cheese. 2:10 We got a order to go for drunk munchies and got a veggie wrap add chicken. Yeah I guess they interpreted that as a hippie veggie flatbread add chicken. Bartender argued with me constantly and I finally settled. I am a server never would treat customers like this.

The best thing about this place were the slot machines and the price for drinks. Wasn't too big of a fan for the food. I ordered the pork loin and it's was pretty tough. I sampled the brussel sprouts and the portobello fries and they were ok. They do have friendly service and very clean

We came here on a snowy Easter for dinner. Bf had the corned beef quesadilla with a side of fires, and I had the tenderloin with seasoned tots. SO delish! Good music, great food, fast service.

Came here after a long road trip. This was one of the only restaurants open late that wasn't fast food. We didn't have high expectations for food but we're happily surprised. Food was great and came out quick. Bartenders were nice and gave recommendations for food. We loved the live music but felt it was just a little too loud, it was kind of hard to hear the person next to you. But all in all would love to go back next time we're in Peoria

Great location, I always sit at the bar & mostly get to go orders....Great Bartenders & Fried Pretzels & My go to every time is Sean's Dublin Dip....yummy!!!!

I always pass this place and never go in. I only had their fried portobello mushrooms and they were amazing!! They have a great beer selection as well! I want to go back to try more of their food!

Great food and drinks here. Friendly folks, good cooks, typical nice pub atmosphere. Our favorites are the chicken quesadilla, tenderloin, and hamburger. Definitely try this place!

Mediocre bar at very best.looks outdated and if it wasn't for the slot, machines would be boring af. The food taste like dog shit and apparently showering after a hard day of work wearing a cut off T-shirt is not allowed as if you have to be formal in downtown Peoria considering a bunch of homeless guys outside asking for change fuck this place.

Great late night choice! I got it to go, but would happily dine in. Good variety of food, and loved the Mac & cheese!

I eat here often because it's close to my place. The staff is great and the service is quite good. It is good bar food. My favorites include the Portabella mushroom fries, The Reuben sandwich or wrap, The black and tan onion rings, the hamburgers and my favorite is the seasoned tater tot's so be sure and get the Irish nachos for the table! Kenny offers outstanding entertainment, sometimes world class. It's a great place to go for a good time or a fun meal especially if you're attending an event in downtown Peoria.

I recently moved to a place very near Kenny's. I stopped by on a Saturday night for something to eat. I'm not sure if the vibe is different during the day, but when I went it was about as unlike an Irish pub as you could imagine; a live, very loud hard rock band was playing. The average age was about thirty (I'm more than twice that). I ordered the fish dinner, which came with cole slaw and a choice of tots or fries. I also ordered the beer cheese soup, which was excellent. The fries were good, cole slaw average, and fish mediocre. My rocks martini was served in a very small glass, and didn't taste like a martini. I think this place would appeal most to a younger, beer-drinking, hard-rock crowd.

Kenny's has to be the most consistent restaurant I've ever been to, even outside of Peoria. I would think their food was cooked by robots by the fact that they NEVER have an off night. Everything is delicious here: buffalo pizza, ranch rub wings, breaded portobellos, reuben quesadilla are some standouts. I recently heard a table next to us ask what was good there and the waitress said everything which seemed to frustrate the diners but it's seriously true. Also, excellent bands, friendly bartenders, well made drinks, yada yada.

Cool Dive Bar, with Bad food. We chose this establishment due to proximity to the Civic center. Went in for lunch and food was mediocre at best. The staff seemed wrapped up in themselves and not there customers. Would be a good place to grab a drink or two and a late night greasy appetizer.
