The 31 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done

"Kentish Town Stores knows how to create a mood. And that mood is laid-back mornings spent eating pastries in your plant-obsessed friend’s house. The three big shared tables upstairs, with plug sockets, are designated for laptop-users—so there’ll be no awkward moments wondering if you’ll be asked to move. " - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Kentish Town Stores Review - Kentish Town - London - The Infatuation

"Kentish Town Stores knows how to create a mood. And that mood is laid-back mornings spent eating pastries in your plant-obsessed friend’s house. On sunny days, take your avocado on toast outside, beneath the blue-shuttered windows, and people-watch. But for the majority of the year, there’s the upstairs space. Three big shared tables are dominated by laptops during the week, but the tables at the side are reserved for those breakfasting on tasty bowls of granola and poached pear. The little lounge at the end of the room, with sofas and armchairs, is fair game for anyone—which on a good day means a few large, fluffy dogs lazing on the rug. photo credit: Kentish Town Stores photo credit: Kentish Town Stores photo credit: Kentish Town Stores photo credit: Kentish Town Stores" - Sinéad Cranna

An absolutely brilliant local shop- their coffee and hot drinks are really great, as are they cakes and such. The staff are friendly and helpful and the produce is all reasonably priced too. I absolutely love the locals crafts and such that they sell inside of the store, too. They are all so high quality and tasteful!. The only reason I’ve given four stars for atmosphere is because the music was a tad loud and not very peaceful, and because the place is swamped with laptop people. I heard one reviewer berate this place for making him feel like a “second class citizen” being a laptop user, but I think it’s important to accept that in places like this, you really are! They clog up tables for hours on end and buy barely anything. Just go to a library or something!!

My favourite coffee place in Kentish Town. Great place when you want to do some uni work but need change an environment. Toast with avocado spread and eggs was a but pricier but at least they have food options if you’re hungry. Very cozy place. Definitely recommend.

Lovely cafe. Avocado toast was tasty, coffee was competent and it was quite peaceful. Probably won’t be visiting again though which is a pity. I don’t like feeling like a second class citizen if I have my laptop. Have to sit on the communal table if you have a laptop while the round tables are empty. The solution is: add some more smaller tables, replace some of the round tables. Then people can sit where they like and feel happy and not be annoyed with these rules that you place about where they can sit. Otherwise great.

My new favourite coffee shop! Good quality of coffee, not much variety of pastries but the ones they have are good. The place is near the main street, but yet comfortable enough to sit outside and enjoy the urban vibe. The 2nd floor is like a cozy living room, quite enough to read a book or work on your laptop. Enjoy 🙂

Lovely coffee shop, with kind and smiling staff. In addition to the normal and tasty coffee brews and different sweet treats (I highly recommend the cinnamon bun), you can buy hand made, locally sourced products like soap, cups and mugs, fruit jam, hand cream, etc. Also they have sitting space outside the shop and inside on the upper floor. Enjoy a cup when in Kentish Town!

Go to coffee and breakfast/lunch spot in Kentish town. Lovely staff, great coffee and baked goods/sandwichs (and delicious sausage/veggie rolls on some weekends!). Also sells very nice ceramics from various artists.

Picked up some delicious homemade granola cookies last month and I also purchased a new ceramic bowl. Cookies were incredible, up there with some of my favourites in London so far. The store stocks some wonderful homeware and other goods, perfect for when you just want something new to upgrade your home. I will be back for breakfast and lunch as soon as I can because the toasted banana bread looked insane!
